 :cloud9: Fact "1" and fact "2" together don't necessarily mean anything, but when you look at facts 1-30 all together, it becomes a lot more obvious that there really are certain individuals on this planet who have "sold their souls to the devil" for the "right" to control everyone else.

I personally think the creation of the corporate structure signalled the downfall, as it put individuals into a nearly (before this) unheard of position of gaining enormous personal wealth, essentially creating "kings" with their own kingdom. If we lived in biblical era days or even the middle ages, they would be kings.

Man's greed and selfishness being what it is, it was only a matter of time, before they grew tired of JUST ruling over their own little "kingdoms". These are the people who have banded together to decide things about the rest of us, that they were neither elected nor qualified to do. But the love of money is the root of all evil.

And since the US has been the main reason since it's inception, that that didn't happen worldwide in the first place, it stands to reason you must cut the head off the "snake" first, if you hope to get anywhere with becoming a new Caesar.

It only makes sense if we are to rule and reign with Him, that the "other side" would want to mimic the same thing = New World Order. The good news is, Christ wins in the end. My  :2c: Blessings....

We already have the structure of a global govt in place,  in case you haven't noticed,-- it is just ramping up its controls.  So that takes it out of the 'theory' realm, although it could still qualify as a conspiracy.

Over the past 15 years or so, a collection of five giant biotech corporations -- Monsanto, Syngenta, Bayer, Dow and DuPont -- have bought up more than 200 other companies, allowing them to dominate access to seeds.

The takeover has been so dramatic that it is becoming difficult for farmers to find alternatives. As a result, in the U.S., 90 percent of soybeans are genetically-modified, and many conventional farmers have trouble obtaining non-genetically modified seeds.

  At this point, a mere FIVE companies – biotechnology companies at that -- own the vast majority of all worldwide seeds. The enormous ramifications of this should be fairly obvious.
  
  Genetically modified (GM) seeds, particularly corn and soy, have already taken over in many areas of the world, effectively eliminating the use of conventional and "heirloom" seeds, and along with them, the ancient, sustainable farming practices that produces healthful food.
  
  For example, in the US, as of 2009 genetically modified (GM) soybeans accounted for 91 percent of the soybean market. Eighty-five percent of all corn grown was GM, as well as 88 percent of all cotton. 
  
  Many pro-GM crop fanatics argue that genetically engineered (GM) crops are superior in a number of ways, but evidence to the contrary is all around us...
  
  Five Biotech Giants Now Control the Global Seed Market
  The illustration below, provided by The Ecologist, shows how five biotech giants have gobbled up seed companies, large and small alike, across the world, with Monsanto clearly leading the pack.
  
  
  Since the 1980s, Monsanto has become the world leader in genetic modification of seeds and has won at least 674 biotechnology patents, more than any other company.
  
  This is not surprising, considering they invest over $2 million a day on research and development!
  
  But Monsanto is not only patenting their own GMO seeds. They have also succeeded in slapping patents on a large number of common crop seeds, in essence patenting life forms for the first time -- without a single vote of the people or Congress.
  
  By doing this, Monsanto has become the sole owner of many of the very seeds necessary to support the world's food supply ... an incredibly powerful position that no for-profit company should ever hold.
  
  The other heavyweights are Syngenta, Bayer, Dow, and DuPont.
  
  Combined, they have acquired more than 200 seed companies in the past 15 years. And together, they not only threaten the continuation of sustainable, renewable farming practices, their monopoly over the food supply threatens the health of every single person on the planet.
  
  The Impact of GM Seed Monopoly
  Farmers are now increasingly forced to use GM seeds simply because there are so few alternative sources of seeds remaining. The effect of this is that we're losing renewable agriculture – the age-old practice of saving and replanting seeds from one harvest to the next.
  
  As mentioned in The Ecologist, one solution to this growing problem would be to make patenting seeds, plants, and genes illegal. As it stands now, each GM seed is patented and sold under exclusive rights.  Therefore, farmers must purchase the GM seeds anew each year, because saving seeds is considered to be patent infringement. Anyone who does save GM seeds must pay a license fee to actually re-sow them.
  
  This, of course, results in higher prices and reduced product options.
  
  Add in the increased need for pesticides and herbicides that GM crops require and the ever rising cost of these products, and what you end up with is a far more expensive crop that has the potential to not only fail more frequently than conventional crops, but that can also be extremely harmful to the animals and humans who eat them.

  Talk about a lose-lose-lose situation.
  
  GM Crops = Higher Costs, Lower Yields, and Far More Dangerous Foods
  Two years ago, 400 scientists from around the world created a report that shows how seed and plant patents are increasing, as opposed to reducing, costs as promised. For example, between 1996, when GE seeds were introduced to the market, and 2007, the price for soy and corn seeds doubled.
  
  But the price farmers pay for using GM seeds do not end there. 
  
  Heartbreaking proof of the devastating effect of this agricultural change can be seen in the skyrocketing suicide rate in India, where rising debt combined with frequent GM crop failures bring farmers to the brink of despair on a daily basis.
  
  Africa is another nation that has been negatively impacted by GM crops.
  
  SeattleGlobalJustice.org recently reported that "in 2009, Monsanto's genetically modified maize failed to produce kernels and hundreds of farmers were devastated. According to Mariam Mayet, environmental attorney and director of the Africa Centre for Biosafety in Johannesburg, some farmers suffered up to an 80 percent crop failure."
  
  GM crops were brought to market with the promise of higher yields, lower costs, and reduced pesticide use. None of them have turned out to be true...
  
  On the contrary, GM soya has decreased yields by up to 20 percent compared with non-GM soya, for example, and up to 100 percent failures of Bt cotton have been recorded in India.
  
  In the US, studies by scientists from the USDA and the University of Georgia has shown that growing GM cotton can result in a drop in income by up to 40 percent.
  
  As for pesticide use, USDA data shows that GM crops has increased pesticide use by 50 million pounds from 1996 to 2003 in the U.S., and the use of glyphosate went up more than 15-fold between 1994 and 2005, along with increases in other herbicides to cope with rising glyphosate resistant superweeds. 
  
  These Roundup tolerant superweeds and Bt resistant pests render the two major GM crop traits completely useless...
  
  Not only that, we now have confirmed transgene contamination in the wild.
  
  Although Monsanto and others denied this possibility, this was long ago predicted and precisely what one would  expect.
  
  Scientists have recently confirmed that the genome (whether plant, animal or human) is NOT constant and static, which is the scientific base for genetic engineering of plants and animals. Instead, geneticists have discovered that the genome is remarkably dynamic and changeable, constantly 'conversing' and adapting to the environment.
  
  In reality, GM crops are a scientific experiment based on flawed assumptions, and anything is possible – and I can strongly guarantee you, it isn't good, and it won't get any better.
  
  The report, 'Future of seeds and food', published last year by the international coalition of No Patents on Seeds, calls out for an end to patenting seeds, plants, and animals, and the need to stop the food monopoly created by Big Biotech. And I agree, little could be more important at this point in time.
  
  There are already clear indications that unless the GM seed monopoly is put to an end, our whole ENTIRE food supply will become contaminated, putting everyone's health at risk.
  
  How?
  
  Many conventional and organic livestock farmers alike are now being forced to use GM feed, simply because there are no other options available!
  
  Situation is Actually Worse than We Knew
  Not only do we have the problems that have been previously discussed over the years with GM crops but there are some new elements to the equation. For now even those that are convinced of the dangers of GMO crops and want to avoid using them simply are unable to in some cases.
  
  I recently received a personal letter from one such farmer, who runs a small ecological farm in Ohio. Even though she is dedicated to organic farming, she is now finding herself in the unthinkable predicament of being forced to buy Monsanto GM corn feed for her pigs and chickens.
  
  Here is her story:
  
  
  Be Part of the Solution
  In spite of what you have likely heard, a large shift to organic agriculture -- which by definition is non-GM -- could protect and improve both the environment and animal- and human health.
  
  It could even be the solution to world hunger. According to a Danish study presented to the U.N. in 2007, recent models of an organically grown, global food supply shows that a more environmentally friendly approach to agriculture is in fact capable of producing enough food for the world's current population.
  
  What prevents many farmers from making the move to organic is that crop yields could initially drop as much as 50 percent in the very beginning, before evening out over time. However, that problem may be mitigated somewhat, because farmers wouldn't need to dole out precious money for toxic pesticides, the price of which have risen as much as 75 percent already.
  
  Unfortunately, while we're waiting for the leaders of the world to catch up and realize the dire straits we're in as a species, we're running out of time. As evidenced by Cappello's story above, our ability to produce organic foods is under constant attack.
  
  So, please, do not wait for some unspecified time in the future.
  
  Instead, do what you can NOW to promote local organic food producers no matter where you live by taking advantage of local sources of organic foods as often as you can.
  
  In addition, please take every measure you can to avoid as many GM foods as you possibly can. Here's a list of tips to help you do just that:
  
  •Reduce or eliminate processed foods. Some 75 percent of processed foods contain GM ingredients.
  •Read produce and food labels. When looking at a product label, if any ingredients such as corn flour and meal, dextrin, starch, soy sauce, margarine, and tofu (to name a few) are listed, there's a good chance it has come from GM corn or soy, unless it's listed as organic.
  •Buy organic produce. Buying organic is currently the best way to ensure that your food has not been genetically modified.
  •Download and use the Non-GMO Shopping Guide, and share it with your friends and family
  Avoid purchasing Monsanto-made pesticides

The next morning at 7:00, the phone rang at Soros's home. It was Stan Druckenmiller with news... While George Soros had slept, he racked a profit $958 million. When Soros's gains from other positions he took during the ERM crisis were tallied, he racked up close to $2 billion... In a desperate bid to keep its currency afloat, the Bank of England tried to buy up pounds as fast as Soros could dump them. The British pound was devalued, launching a tsunami of financial turmoil from Tokyo to Rome. When it was over, millions of hardworking Britons confronted their diminished savings, while Soros counted his gains. - In 1997, during the Asian financial crisis, the then Malaysian Prime Minister, Mahathir bin Mohamad, accused him of bringing down the Malaysian currency, the ringgit, through his trading activities. In Thailand he was branded an "economic war criminal" who "sucks the blood from the people".

ANTI-SEMITISM
- In a 1998 interview with Steve Kroft, Soros was asked if he felt guilty about confiscating property from Jews as a teenager. He responded, "No."
- "I don't deny the Jews their right to a national existence--but I don't want to be part of it." That experience notwithstanding, Soros has chosen to exclude Israel and Jewish causes, by and large, from his massive philanthropy-a decision that has caused comment among one of his colleagues in the financial community, particularly those who are strong supporters of Israel. In Hungary, Soros has been subject to anti-Semitic attacks. Referring to being a target, Soros, in his book "Underwriting Democracy," wrote, "I am ready to stand up and be counted." When I mentioned that rather suggestive line to Soros during one of several extended interviews with him, he responded quickly, "Right. It took me a long time."

He continued, "My mother was quite anti-Semitic, and ashamed of being Jewish. Given the culture in which one lived, being Jewish was a clear-cut stigma, disadvantage, a handicap-and, therefore, there was always the desire to transcend it, to escape it." He confirmed what someone had told me-that his family name had long ago been changed from Schwartz. "So the assimilationist Jews of Hungary had a deep sense of inferiority and it took me a long time to work through that," he said, adding, however, that he succeeded in doing so many years ago... "I am escaping the particular. I think I am doing exactly that by espousing this universal concept"-of open society. "In other words, I don't think that you can ever overcome anti-Semitism if you behave as a tribe... the only way you can overcome it is if you give up the tribalness."

INFO ON NAME CHANGE FROM SHWARTZ TO SOROS
- Born in Hungary in 1930, Mr. Soros began life as George Schwartz. His father, Tivadar, was from humble origins; his mother, Erzebet, from money. Both were Jews, but nonobservant (she eventually converted to Catholicism). Once married, Tivadar had to work just two hours a day managing some of his wife's family property, which provided a handsome living for them and their two sons, Paul and George. At some point during the boys' childhood, the parents decided to change the family name and chose the Hungarian-sounding but in fact obscure Soros. It means "soar" (in the future tense) in Esperanto, the made-up trans-European language promoted by those who dreamed of a world free of nationality. Tivadar was among its leading proponents. MORE ON TIVADAR SOROS
The other day, George Soros and his older brother Paul, an engineer turned investor-philanthropist, met in the offices of Soros Fund Management to discuss their father. The occasion was the English-language publication of Tivadar Soros's wartime memoir, "Masquerade: Dancing Around Death in Nazi-Occupied Hungary," which was first published in 1965 in Esperanto, one of six languages in which Soros pere was fluent.

"It was his nature, regardless of difficulties, to believe that one must behave like a human being and one must make the most of life," Paul Soros said, explaining the charm and ebullience of his father, who, in the book, is described by his five-year-old son George as "a married bachelor," and who, even when living semi-reclusively under an assumed Christian identity, never missed his daily swim. "I remember during the siege we went to the opera, because at a time when there was no food the opera still served very nice hors d'oeuvres and patisserie. Whether or not it was prudent, the idea was that you should make the most of your circumstances."

George, who, like Paul, has inherited his father's broad face, pointed out that Tivadar's fondness for the comforts of bourgeois life was not accompanied by a docile bourgeois sensibility. "We didn't preserve ordinariness," George said. "He made us very conscious that these were extraordinary times and that the normal rules didn't apply." In the book, Tivadar writes that at one point young George was required by the authorities to deliver notices to certain Jews that they should report to the Rabbinical Seminary with blankets and food. "This was a profoundly important experience for me," George said. "My father said, 'You should go ahead and deliver them, but tell the people that if they report they will be deported.' The reply from one man was 'I am a law-abiding citizen. They can't do anything to me.' I told my father, and that was an occasion for a lecture that there are times when you have laws that are immoral, and if you obey them you perish."

"Masquerade" contains a great deal of black social comedy; a running theme is Tivadar's efforts to convince his recalcitrant mother-in-law that, all things considered, it really would be best if she stopped regarding the occupation as a personal insult. ("I refuse to go anywhere if the people don't know who I am and I have to pretend I'm somebody else all the time," she said of his attempts to find a safe house for her.) Tivadar's own ease with his assumed identity-he grew a mustache, and went by Elek Szabo-led him, one day during an air raid, to tell a neighbor in the shelter about the time he approached the podium on which Hitler was standing at the 1936 Winter Olympics, just to see how close he could get. "Hardly fifteen minutes had passed after my tale when there was suddenly a great commotion," Tivadar wrote. "The shelter commander appeared, surrounded by several officers. . . . It transpired that the air-defense commander, in great excitement that there was someone present who had seen Hitler, had radioed headquarters and a group had come over right away to see this privileged person."

Tivadar's energies, though, were largely devoted to the extremely serious business of procuring papers to save relatives and friends from a new, unimaginable form of terror. "My father was ahead of the curve, because he recognized the moment the Germans came in that this was a different world and one had to act differently," George said. He and Paul agreed that they still try to live by their father's resourceful example. "The funny thing is that in character we probably both inherited a lot more from our mother," George said.

GLOBALIZATION

SOROS' PHILOSOPHY
- At the London School of Economics, Soros discovered the work of philosopher Karl Popper, whose ideas on open society had a profound influence on his thinking. He was attracted to Popper's critique of totalitarianism, The Open Society and Its Enemies, which maintained that societies can only flourish when they allow democratic governance, freedom of expression, a diverse range of opinion, and respect for individual rights. Later, working as a trader and analyst, he adapted Popper to develop his own "theory of reflexivity," a set of ideas that seeks to explain the relationship between thought and reality, which he used to predict, among other things, the emergence of financial bubbles. Soros began to apply his theory to investing and concluded that he had more talent for trading than for philosophy. - Although compelled to leave his native Austria in the 1930s (because of his Jewish ancestry), his book is remarkably free from personal bitterness or sadness.
- He did not shrink from tracing the sources of those dangerous ideas to Marx, to Hegel, and even to that greatest of all philosophers, Plato. At a time when many intellectuals had lost faith in democracy, Popper offered a spirited defense of democratic principles and outlined a compelling vision of a society grounded in democratic reforms.
- Popper was a fallibilist, one who perceives great error and danger in any theory of knowledge—or regime—that claimed to offer certain truth. In such a system, there would be no incentive to establish social and political structures that promote learning or the free exchange of ideas; truth is already at hand. In the name of historical progress, the regime may then justify the squelching of human freedoms and even atrocities on a grand scale.
- George Soros, who first encountered The Open Society as Popper's student at the London School of Economics, founded the Open Society Institute to propagate Popper's ideas, particularly in Eastern Europe. Thus the political philosophy Popper first articulated before the start of the Cold War is now being studied and put into practice in countries newly emerging from behind the Iron Curtain.

Shortly after publishing (in German) a then little-noticed but classic work on the logical foundations of science in 1934, Popper left Austria under the threat of Nazi anti-Semitism. From New Zealand, where he had obtained a university teaching post, he returned to England after World War II as professor of philosophy of science at the London School of Economics, where he remained until his retirement.


SOROS' CURRENT TIES
SOROS AND PRESIDENT OBAMA

- In December 2006, Soros met with presidential hopeful Barack Obama in Soros' New York office. Soros had previously hosted a fundraiser for Obama during his 2004 campaign for the Senate.
- On January 16, 2007, Obama announce the creation of a presidential exploratory committee and within hours Soros sent a contribution of $2,100, the maximum allowable under campaign finance laws.
- Days after Obama was elected in November of 2008, Soros said in an interview "I think we need a large stimulus package which will provide funds for state and local government to maintain their budgets – because they are not allowed by the constitution to run a deficit. For such a program to be successful, the federal government would need to provide hundreds of billions of dollars. In addition, another infrastructure program is necessary. In total, the cost would be in the 300 to 600 billion dollar range." Since then, Congress passed a $787 billion stimulus and Obama very recently introduced a $50 billion plan to improve the country's transportation program, saying "I want America to have the best infrastructure in the world."

- In that same interview, Soros called for cap & trade: "I think this is a great opportunity to finally deal with global warming and energy dependence. The US needs a cap and trade system with auctioning of licenses for emissions rights. I would use the revenues from these auctions to launch a new, environmentally friendly energy policy. That would be yet another federal program that could help us to overcome the current stagnation." Since then, Congress has introduced cap & trade legislation. (More info in "going green" section)
- Also in that interview, Soros said "In 2010, the Bush tax cuts will expire and we should not extend them." Since then, Obama expressed his opposition to the Bush tax cuts in an interview with ABC on September 9th: "All those middle class folks who need tax relief hostage right now in order to provide tax breaks for the top two percent wealthiest Americans, who don't need a tax break, aren't asking for a tax break. And you know, if we could afford it, it'd be one thing. But we know that's gonna cost $700 billion over ten years. And so, that is not a smart thing to do for the economy"
- Soros is also on board with Obama's proposals to reform the banking system. In an interview with the BBC: Interviewer:  Now President Obama last week announced some quite radical proposals to reform the banking system. He wants them out of what he calls "proprietary trading", using their capital to speculate on their own account, and also he wants a limit on their size. Are these constructive measures in your view? Soros:  Very much so these are the right ... it goes in the right direction. In my opinion, it doesn't actually go far enough because it still leaves the problem of too big to fail. - Soros has also supported Van Jones – Originally through the Open Society Institute which gave the Ella Baker Center $151,800 in 2006 and $140,000 in 2007. Van Jones was head of the Ella Baker Center during those years. OSI also funded Green for All in 2008 --  they received a grant in the amount of $75,000 to "integrate the Civic Justice Corps into Green For All's campaign to create a national Clean Energy Corps." while Van Jones was running it. CAP & TRADE
- Soros is also a huge proponent of cap and trade. The sot below sounds very similar to VAN JONES' "We'renot going to put a new battery in a broken system."

And I think that dealing with global warming will require a lot of investment. So it will be painful. But at least we will survive and not cook. Pentagon and its embedded media covering up Chinese show of force off LA

China flexed its military muscle Monday evening in the skies west of Los Angeles
when a Chinese Navy Jin class ballistic missile nuclear submarine, deployed
secretly from its underground home base on the south coast of Hainan island,
launched an intercontinental ballistic missile from international waters off the
southern California coast. WMR's intelligence sources in Asia, including Japan,
say the belief by the military commands in Asia and the intelligence services is
that the Chinese decided to demonstrate to the United States its capabilities on
the eve of the G-20 Summit in Seoul and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation
summit in Tokyo, where President Obama is scheduled to attend during his ten-day
trip to Asia.

The reported Chinese missile test off Los Angeles came as a double blow to
Obama. The day after the missile firing, China's leading credit rating agency,
Dagong Global Credit Rating, downgraded sovereign debt rating of the United
States to A-plus from AA. The missile demonstration coupled with the downgrading
of the United States financial grade represents a military and financial show of
force by Beijing to Washington.

The Pentagon spin machine, backed by the media reporters who regularly cover the
Defense Department, as well as officials of the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA), North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), and the U.S. Northern
Command, is now spinning various conspiracy theories, including describing the
missile plume videotaped by KCBS news helicopter cameraman Gil Leyvas at around
5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, during the height of evening rush hour, as the
condensation trail from a jet aircraft. Other Pentagon-inspired cover stories
are that the missile was actually an amateur rocket or an optical illusion.
Experts agree that this was a ballistic missile being fired off of Los Angeles.

Pentagon insists it was a jet aircraft or model rocket.

There are no records of a plane in the area having taken off from Los Angeles
International Airport or from other airports in the region. The Navy and Air
Force have said that they were not conducting any missile tests from submarines,
ships, or Vandenberg Air Force Base. The Navy has also ruled out an accidental
firing from one of its own submarines.

Missile experts, including those from Jane's in London, say the plume was
definitely from a missile, possibly launched from a submarine. WMR has learned
that the missile was likely a JL-2 ICBM, which has a range of 7,000 miles, and
was fired in a northwesterly direction over the Pacific and away from U.S.
territory from a Jin class submarine. The Jin class can carry up to twelve such
missiles.

Navy sources have revealed that the missile may have impacted on Chinese
territory and that the National Security Agency (NSA) likely posseses intercepts
of Chinese telemtry signals during the missile firing and subsequent testing
operations.

Japanese and other Asian intelligence agencies believe that a Chinese Jin-class
SSBN submarine conducted missile "show of force" in skies west of Los Angeles.
Asian intelligence sources believe the submarine transited from its base on
Hainan through South Pacific waters, where U.S. anti-submarine warfare detection
capabilities are not as effective as they are in the northern and mid-Pacific,
and then transited north to waters off of Los Angeles. The Pentagon, which has
spent billions on ballistic missile defense systems, a pet project of former
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, is clearly embarrassed over the Chinese show
of strength.

The White House also wants to donwplay the missile story before Presidnet Obama
meets with his Chinese counterpart in Seoul and Tokyo. According to Japanese
intelligence sources, Beijing has been angry over United States and allied naval
exercises in the South China and Yellow Seas, in what China considers its sphere
of influence, and the missile firing within the view of people in Southern
California was a demonstration that China's navy can also play in waters off the
American coast.

For the U.S. Navy, the Chinese show of force is a huge embarassment, especially
for the Navy's Pacific Command in Pearl Harbor, where Japan's December 7, 1941
attack on the fleet at Pearl Harbor remains a sore subject.

In 2002, national security adviser Condoleezza Rice reportedly scolded visiting
Chinese General Xiong Guankai, the deputy chief of staff for intelligence of the
People's Liberation Army, for remarks he allegedly made in 1995 that China would
use nuclear weapons on Los Angeles. Xiong denied he made any such comments but
the "spin" on the story helped convince Congress to sink billions of additional
dollars into ballistic missile defense, sometimes referred to at "Star Wars
II."
