Those familiar with George Orwell's apocalyptic book "1984" would know that it describes a time on earth when the world will totally loose its compass...where "war is peace", "Freedom is Slavery"  and "Ignorance is Strength."

This has just happened...

I was totally gobsmacked to hear that US prez Obama received the Nobel PEACE prize...really? was it april the 1st already?

for a man who has started a new war in Pakistan...escalated the war in Afghanistan...threatening Iran when itself has 1000s of nuclear devices, causing death and destruction in Africa and South America through sponsoring its heineous sidekicks...still NOT closing Guantanamo...reatining the troops in Iraq...being the biggest exporter of death ie weapons to the world...sitting in silence as Israel massacre women and children...AND then denying all the proof provided by a world respected judge....sorry...WHO did he alctually make peace with? just name me ONE...just one

While I agree with your observation referring to George Orwell's book, you neglected to color in the details properly.
It reminds me of that familiar question which people utter with much consternation: "What on earth did you expect?".
This question can be taken literally as a comment to your Post here.

The historical narrative of the Bible clearly show the events which occurred leading up to the 'domination system' which we are enduring in these days. Regrettably, this spirit killing device is to become increasingly harsh as the end draws near.
Just as there is the revealing of Jesus in the flesh in those who belong to Him, (sons of God), there also is the accompanying emergence of the anti-christ in those who are are his, (sons of perdition).
So, again: What on earth did you expect?

To put out all the fires?   I feel sorry for him, quite frankly - because he has inherited a huge mess and people expect him to fix the world and all its problems overnight.  How would you do in the same position?  Obama is just a man!   How would you like to be in his shoes?

According to Nobel's will, the Peace Prize should be awarded to the person who:

He's also nominated for sportsman of the year because he sometimes talks about sports. Next year he will recieve Nobel prize for medical science.

Personally I think he should be nominated for the smoke and mirrors award because his war tactics are the same as that of GW Bush. Whoops that peaceful man was also nominated for the highly prestigious peace price.

And these decisions have consequences.   According to my bible, there will be a WAR to end all WARS called Armageddon.   Jesus warned us that there would be wars and rumors of wars and told us what the end would be like, then asked if he would find faith on the earth when he returned.    You are going to have to deal with that anger burning inside you.  Things are not going to get better.  You can pretend everything is Obama's fault, or you can look and see that when you point your finger at any man there are  three fingers pointing back at you.    Uninformed Americans just finished celebrating 'Columbus' Day, most of them completely ignorant to the atrocities carried out by those early explorers who came from Europe.  Perhaps our 'America' is still being punished for all the buckets of blood we have spilled in such a short time already.

Sure you can't just pull out armies. Sure Bush started a lot of trouble.
But I don't see Obama doing much/anything to fix it besides a friendly speech of hollow words.
What I see is Obama depoying more troops or just transfering them from one place to another.
I know an Texan tha works in a military plane factory. 6 days a week and extended shifts. Doesn't sound like lesseing war efforts. Also compare Iran and Iraq. Suddenly Iraq had WMDs. Then slowly Iraq got a worse name day by day. Currently the same is happening with Iran. For me Obama is nothing better than Bush. The only difference is that Bush was likly more in the pockets of the defence contractors and Obama in the banking pockets.

Anne, the reason why I'm angry is because people are dying while your goverment is fighting its "just" wars...and then the sickos are nominated and receiving Nobel peace prizes (Bush was nominated and Obama actually got it)

It makes me angry because I know that the Prince of Peace does not operate like these monsters...and they are trodding on His Holy name

Most of us are not, noname.  Obama was elected to stop the war as was the democratic congress before him.  We seem to have a 'runaway' government at the moment which is no longer listening to the people.  Have you seen their approval ratings?  Congress is somewhere in the 20th percentile and Obama is dropping like a rock.   Unfortunately, our system is not set up for quick fixes, but the American people are at the end of their rope.  Look at the anger at the town halls and somewhere around a million of them showed up in Washington a few weekends ago.  This is not a normal occurrence for middle class America.  Don't think that these policies are being carried out with the approval of all Americans.

Quite frankly, I'm not even sure our votes are being counted anymore since the introduction of black box voting machines--which are actually probably illegal under our own law.

Now there is the International rules that are being violated by Israel and their squatters who build settlements, Obama
has asked that they stop building these settlements and Israel just spit in Obamas face and keeps right on building settlements!  OK then, the USA sends Israel billions of tax payer dollars every year to this Israel in aid, now Obama has a good open reason to quit signing and sending these checks to Israel, and he has the political power and authority to deny Israel one thin dime of American workers tax payer money and help our wounded and suffering economy, hundreds of families losing homes every month, the homeless numbers into the thousands, no jobs and a corrupt monetary and  banking system instead of sending it overseas to those who spit in his face and also butchers their nieghboring countries children because God told them to.

That will cost even more lives and US taxpaying dollars.
If Israel falls the whole Middle East will be ablaze. Guess what that will do with the oil price. That would mean even more job loss.
