"He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." (John 8:7)

In the earth has come a new beginning in perfection, for perfection in man is the unity of life in the Father, for Christ is that new beginning.

Put to death any judgment towards another as a sinner and show them grace, for that is the love of the Father

Not until we are shown the "Wisdom in Love" can we love the wisdom of God

The nature of man is corruption, it corrupts all that is good

It corrupted the old ..... corrupted "The Old Covenant of Law" by using it to accuse and judge others of sin, missing their own sin of, "the misuse of the law"

It corrupted the new ..... corrupted "The New Covenant of Grace" by using it as bait to bring others under or back under "The Old Covenant of the Law" by accusing and judging others they have not received forgiveness by the Grace of God; by the blood of Christ upon the cross, missing their own sin of, "the misuse of grace"

Seed for thought

Consciousness is life

Through the old self (the nature of the flesh), man uses consciousness/life as a way "to build" a way to "get to" God (which becomes the Tower of Babel)

Through the new self (the nature of the Spirit), God uses consciousness/life (that which is already built) as His way to "come to" us (which is the Tabernacle in the wilderness)

We have been given life; given consciousness and in this life/consciousness we have been given the ability to think, but more so to "think logically" (yes, MG, you came to mind)

By His Spirit "in" us ... He uses these things to "come to" us ... in order to understand that He IS "in us" AND in order to understand "what" He is doing "in us" ... (HIS WORK)
NOT
us using these things in order to build something to "get to" God (OUR WORK)

God is the builder and we are "HIS" workmanship (a Tabernacle, the means by which He comes to us which is Christ Jesus the Spirit of God)
NOT
we are the builder and God is "OUR" workmanship (A Tower of Babel, the means by which we get to God, which is the spirit of the world)

Definitely agree.

But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: "DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, 'WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?' (that is, to bring Christ down), 7or 'WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead)."

So, basically a circle? When talking about about eternity, this seems to be one of the best analogies to describe it. I will go into that a bit more in a post soon(once I get past some laziness  :LH:)

LOL yea maybe I was a lil unclear. My point was to agree that we cant accomplish much in the flesh, in our own strength, or by the law. Only as we trust Him and wait upon Him and speak a word that we hear out of the Spirit, act out of the initiative and the life of the Spirit, can we avoid corruption. Religion destroys the very thing it proclaims. The Spirit edifies and vivifies and preserves freedom and purity and grace.

Agreed, but I do believe religion has it's purpose, that purpose being to teach the importance of the law.  I view it as: we became subjected to the law (unwillingly) to be taught the importance of it. Just because we have been forgiven of our sins (past, present and future) doesn't give us a license to sin, because if we think that way, that we can do whatever we want because we know we will be forgiven for it ... that way of thinking is a revealing of a truth, the truth that we have no respect for the law of God and that it is good and more so that it is still important.

And I also believe that we cannot disregard one or the other, that the law of God is just as important as the grace of God in that the law of God should rule "in" our spirit "over our flesh" and and the grace of God should rule "in" our spirit "with His Spirit", and then by His grace we come to understand how much God loves us and then Love takes over in our (s)Spirit, and when we love as God loves ... the law is automatically and completely fulfilled/obeyed in us, by us and through us (with the understanding that the word "us" is pertaining to our own spirit and God's Spirit as one working together "as one") to be manifested in this world toward others.

:cloud9: He dropped something into my spirit along these lines. Death is what enables us to feel what He felt when Adam his son fell and "died". Can any of us imagine the true depth of grief until experiencing the death of a loved one? NO. And like with us, no amount of words can communicate the excruciating pain and make someone understand what cannot be fully understood without experience. Through this we know the depth of the wounding God felt with only one person or a few, but now multiply that times the billions that lived since then, and also "died", as a result of that one death. David saying though I make my bed in hell You are with me, was not just to communicate God's faithfulness, it was meant that we experience the very depth of the pain of separation, which is what death is. it's hard to accept, but without it, we could not be made perfect, because they have gone on cannot be made perfect without us, and that means that conversely we can't be made perfect/complete without them. Blessings....

:iagree: Cardinal,

I once told my younger sister once (who is indoctrinated by ET) that we experience death so that we could know how God feels when we are separated from Him. She liked what I said but has not wavered from her beliefs, so I see it as a seed planted knowing that the truth does not return void.

And I also, very strongly believe what you said (what I highlighted with the addition of one word)

because they that have gone on cannot be made perfect without us, and that means that conversely we can't be made perfect/complete without them

a more detailed explanation of what I believe as I promised in the thread "no man enters heaven"

for me it is like seeing the stages of development in understanding ..... that all will go through God's stages of understanding and that this world is just the first stage, it is like this physical universe is like the womb of our mother (Jerusalem) and that a born again experience in this world is just a taste of what it will be like when we physically die, born out of the physical into the spiritual and that being the full manifestation of the born again experience.

and again, for me, it is also like seeing the rich man and Lazarus, the rich man had everything he wanted here except what he needed ..... that one drop of water that would have germinated the seed of faith planted inside of him and broke the shell of the seed for the plant of God's understandings to start growing inside of himself, which can also be understood as Christ being formed in us ..... the rich man who is without God here will be like a beggar in the beginning of his life in the spiritual, but he will be in the bosom of Abraham, meaning he will be in the bosom of faith, anticipating and knowing that he will be given understanding when he begs/asks for it.

I myself see that there are six things we will receive from others in the spiritual (as well as here now, for His will is done on earth as it is in heaven)... those being knowledge, understanding and wisdom which will be given and enter the mind and we will also be given from others love, forgiveness, and compassion which will be given and enter the heart ..... but with the understanding that the mind and the heart are one in the spiritual and if we receive one of these things, we also receive the others, we will be given in part, but in the part, it also contains the whole and the whole is received by the one spirit that is both a heart and a mind .... and by this, it is a continuation of the healing process of our spirit being healed from the way we thought and acted while having physical life, which is the same as saying, "being healed from a fleshly way of thinking while we had physical life"

for me, in the spiritual, ALL things are motivated by Love which is the free giving of what we have to others and that all the fruits of the Spirit, including the fruit of knowledge, understanding and wisdom are contained and summed up in one word, that Word, being Love, which is the Father and Christ Jesus who is the exact representation of the Father, for if you have seen Me, you have seen the Father

this is what I believe and it is just an opinion, but it is the good news according to jugghead

I actually believe that the biggest reason for the 'atonement' is that the image of a crucified redeemer is a strong enough image to pierce every psyche.. I truly think it's we who have to forgive ourselves.. of flaws past and present.. That rationality includes with it - sooner or later - the ability to make choices. (Very limited, thank God! Literally.) So I found myself thinking, doesn't that change everything? And the more I thought about it to this day, it seems very logical (logic/logos) that yes, it does change everything. Changes the very fabric of life - well, I'm just waxing poetic right now.. (which I enjoy doing :laughing7: ) but it's true! Surely when He endowed thinking ability, a whole new world (tree?) 'came about'. Simple girl that I am, I figure since He can only be honest, there was that tree in the midst of the first garden of life. Oh yes I believe all that literally. I love it! What's better - or could be better - than a perfect garden? Just look at how creative He is!
:cloud9: "the lion will eat straw like the ox" this tells me I will one day find myself hugging a lion. And a bear, because it also says.. "..and the bear will graze with the cow." (Isaiah 11:7) Someplace in Isaiah it says "my people will be able to sleep in the forest.." I can't remember if it's "sleep in the forest" or be able to.. hmm, google?

Ezekiel 34:25 - I will make a covenant of peace with my people and drive away the dangerous animals from the land. ... and rid the land of wild animals, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forest.

Isaiah 32:18 - My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of ...

I figure this may be referring to the millennium.. but the one about the lion eating straw like the ox, I think is later.. :Peace2:

:O I have to run.. and I haven't read your second post yet.. (how rude! :faint: back later..)

Just three of these gifts that you mention are blessings without measure...

"An intelligent heart acquires knowledge,
and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge"
Proverbs 18:15

"This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" 1 Timothy 2

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes..." Proverbs 3:5-7

"The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple" Psalm 119:130

"Who is like the wise? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man's wisdom makes his face shine, and the hardness of his face is changed" Ecclesiastes 8:1

Fortunate is the one who has all six gifts in fullness! Indeed, when God is All-in-All, so by definition these six must be there in fullness too – there cannot be enough gratitude to God for His own Wisdom and Foresight, and He cannot fail or be in error.
"A few drops of blood renew the whole world, and become for all men that which rennet is for milk, uniting and drawing us into one". "Christ is like leaven for the entire mass, and having made that which was damned one with himself, frees the whole from damnation".

Gregory of Nazianzu
