This is from a Dutch translation without the source. Maybe you can find the original article?
It's pretty obvious it's manmade, isn't it?  Or do flu's always mutate into mysterious black lung disease?  Now all that remains is to find the perps and shoot them [legally, of course  :gangel:].  I'm not for the death penalty, but if anything ever deserved the death penalty, mass murder is it.

Another theory is that pharmaceutical company, Baxter International, is plotting to spread a plague from Baxter's Ukrainian laboratory. This possibility came from bio-scientist, Joseph Moshe, who worked within Mossad and has dual citizenship within the United States and Israel. He contacted a radio show warning people and later he was arrested by the LAPD/SWAT, FBI and the Secret Service. The trio pepper-sprayed the man and sent him to a California mental hospital.

Escaped!  I hate when that happens.  As if they should ever be messing with this stuff in the lab to begin with--freakin' morons.  'Escaped' and 'accidental' is the most benign thing you can say.   Can you tell I'm angry?  I've been expecting this--and here it is.  Let's see if he lives to publish his report.

But, what is he really saying between the lines?  Look where he says it might have originated.  In the eggs used to create the vaccine!!

The World Health Organization is investigating a claim by an Australian researcher that the swine flu virus circling the globe may have been created as a result of human error.

Adrian Gibbs, 75, who collaborated on research that led to the development of Roche Holding AG's Tamiflu drug, said in an interview that he intends to publish a report suggesting the new strain may have accidentally evolved in eggs scientists use to grow viruses and drugmakers use to make vaccines. Gibbs said he came to his conclusion as part of an effort to trace the virus's origins by analyzing its genetic blueprint.

"One of the simplest explanations is that it's a laboratory escape," Gibbs said in an interview with Bloomberg Television today. "But there are lots of others."

That's from the old article on the original flu. I always thought the security measures in such labs are extremely high. And certainly more than someone using public transport to ship the stuff.

Anyway it seems the lab has collected virus strains from 3 continents and when they mixed them they again accidently escaped. With so much luck I would suggest the scientists quit their jobs and goto Vegas and play some slot machines...

QuoteThe new H1N1 strain, which was discovered in Mexico and the U.S. in April, may be the product of three strains from three continents that swapped genes in a lab or a vaccine-making plant, Gibbs, and fellow Australian scientists wrote in Virology Journal. The authors analyzed the genetic makeup of the virus and found its origin could be more simply explained by human involvement than a coincidence of nature.

Those nasty viruses swapping genes in the lab!  Just goes to show you can't trust a virus.  Wipe them off the face of the earth!

Researcher: NASA hiding climate data

The fight over global warming science is about to cross the Atlantic with a U.S. researcher poised to sue NASA, demanding release of the same kind of climate data that has landed a leading British center in hot water over charges it skewed its data.

Well, it wouldn't be the squalene. That's the ingredient (also present in H1N1 vaccine) that was responsible for Gulf War syndrome. Squalene is a naturally occurring substance in the body, but when introduced into the body from outside, it can cause severe neurological and autoimmune problems.

Peace Doesn't Work, Obama Informs Nobel Committee

"In extolling the virtues of war while accepting what was supposed to be a prize for radical advocates of peace, President Obama had what could only be called one of the quintessential jerkass moments of American history, an embarrassing exhortation to the advocates of peace to accept violence as the one true way of solving the world's problems."

http://news.antiwar.com/2009/12/10/peace-doesnt-work-obama-informs-nobel-committee/

"War, in one form or another, appeared with the first man. At the dawn of history, its morality was not questioned; it was simply a fact, like drought or disease - the manner in which tribes and then civilizations sought power and settled their differences."
Obama

"Thou shalt not kill.

The LORD said, "What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground.

And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man.

Whoever sheds the blood of man,
       by man shall his blood be shed;
for in the image of God
       has God made man.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

Climategate goes SERIAL: now the Russians confirm that UK climate scientists manipulated data to exaggerate global warming

They ignored data covering 40% of Russia and chose data that showed a warming trend over statistically preferable alternatives when available.

One the final page, there is a chart that shows that CRU's selective use of 25% of the data created 0.64C more warming than simply using all of the raw data would have done.

Copenhagen--Polar Bear seeks out climategate scientist---verbally attacked by G.W. zealots

A faux Polar Bear entered the Copenhagen main conference center Tuesday and began an all out search for the lying-scheming climate scientist whose hacked emails ignited the ire of conservatives, Phil Jones. The Climategate scandal proved what most "true" conservatives knew, the data was being manipulated.

The huggable polar bear was greeted by a round of jeers from the attendees at Copenhagen's main conference center Tuesday and began paging the discredited climate scientist whose hacked e-mails sparked the Climate-Gate scandal.

The polar bear armed with a megaphone shouted out in the Bella Center, host to the city's global climate summit, the polar bear roared out:

"PHIL JONES??? HAS ANYONE SEEN PHIL JONES???"

Remember, Phil Jones, Dr. Trick and hide the decline, was the lying scientist that had to step down from the head of an academic post due to his emails being hacked. Lo and behold scientists have been lying to the world in order to scam trillions out of economically developed countries.

The polar bear, aka Phelim McAleer, journalist-filmmaker, on threats of being attacked, injured and stuffed by the highly partisan and delusional crowd.

One female Climate Change fanatic advised him to,

"get out of here now while you still can."

Quote from: natcat86According to the Super intendant the child had drawn and labeled a picture of himself on the cross. I'd see why someone would find that a cause for concern. Also Taunton is known as The Christmas City because of its large public christmas displays. So good news!

Rutherford Institute takes case of boy given psych evaluation after drawing Jesus

Charlottesville, Va., Dec 17, 2009 / 09:47 pm (CNA).- The Rutherford Institute is taking on the case of a Massachusetts second grader who was forced by the local school district to undergo psychological evaluations for drawing a stick figure, crucified Jesus with his own name on a placard above the corpus.

"This is a case of overreaction by school officials," said John W. Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute on Wednesday.

On Dec. 2, second grader Jalen Cromwell was taken to the principal's office at Lowell M. Maxham School in Taunton, Mass. where he was questioned about his drawing of Christ. According to his  family, the picture reflected the child's impressions of a recent family trip to the Christmas lighting at the Shrine of La Sallette.

According to a Dec. 16 letter written to the Taunton School District by John Whitehead, President of the Rutherford Institute, Jalen drew the picture at school during free time after a snack break. "Jalen placed the picture inside his desk but for some reason it was removed and inspected," Whitehead recounted in his letter.

Jalen was then taken to Principal Rebecca Couet's office and questioned without the presence or notification of his parents. The letter claims that this questioning greatly disturbed Jalen and that only afterward was his father, Chester Johnson, contacted. When Johnson arrived, he was shown the picture and told that his son needed to leave and could not return until he had undergone psychological evaluation.

The next day, Melissa Cromwell, Jalen's mother, went to the school to discuss the matter further and was told by the principal that Jalen needed to be removed due to school policy.

"When Ms. Cromwell asked Principal Couet to point out the policy in the school's handbook, the principal was not able to do so and Ms. Cromwell still has received no satisfactory explanation as to why Jalen's removal was required," stated Whitehead's letter.

In response to these allegations, the Taunton School District released a press statement on Tuesday claiming that Jalen was not suspended, that the current drawing being circulated in the media is not the original drawing and that communication between Jalen's parents and the district are "positive and cooperative."

"He wasn't technically suspended, but he was removed from school," Whitehead told CNA on Thursday, "which means, he was in effect, suspended." Whitehead explained to CNA that Jalen was told to leave on Wednesday Dec. 2 and could not return to class until the following Monday.

As evidenced by the numerous interviews they have recently given, "the parents are not cordial," said Whitehead in response to the Taunton School District's Dec. 15  statement that Jalen's family and the school have  been "working together in a cooperative and positive manner."

The school district claimed on Dec. 15 that "the drawing published in various media outlets is not the same drawing that was discovered by the teacher." Two different drawings have been recently circulated in the media, both identical images of the crucifixion, with the exception of Jalen's name being written above the cross on a placard on one of the images. Some have speculated that Jalen's name was removed by the family before it was released into the media in order to protect the boy's identity.

The Rutherford Institute could not confirm this to CNA, but has posted an image without Jalen's name on its website.

"If they (the school district) have another drawing, they have yet to produce it," Whitehead told CNA on Thursday.

According to Whitehead, Jalen has informed his parents that he no longer trusts his teachers nor wants to continue attending Lowell M. Maxham School.  Jalen's parents are currently requesting that the school arrange for Jalen to be transferred to an out of district school and to compensate them for transportation costs.

Whitehead noted what he believes to be the severity of the situation in his letter to the Taunton School District, stating "the effective suspension of Jalen from school deprived him and his parents if their constitutional rights to due process and punished Jalen for engaging in protected speech."

Hey Molly good move!

Heres what might be the other side to the story
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/15/school-denies-that-boy-wa_n_393667.html

My opinion is that some western christians seem to want to see themselves as persecuted wherever possible. Like Bill O'Reilly and his "reporting" on the so-called War on Christmas and Fox and Friends frequent out rage that the government holds up its side of keeping a seperation between church and state. The persecution is usually only inforcing this seperation.  I think we need to be mindful that there are people being literally killed for their faith in Christ around the world everyday! When people are up in arms because a manger scene has been moved from a public building for example it really seems they trivialise the true persecution happening in the world.

Most misionaries I have heard speak about their time with persecuted believers, those facing prison and even death always comment on how, peaceful, loving and joyous they are! (makes me think of Christ and Stephen)

When I see some christians on T.V, like Gretchen Carlson for example in out rage over the petty persecution they face, calling for national revolt, people to be removed from office they just seem bitter! (I think of those who wanted a messiah who would fight the Roman rule).

Just my  :2c: as someone outside looking in

Very good point. May my spirit be one of love when I am "persecuted" for my own beliefs.  :cloud9:

The school system is clearly parsing words by saying the child was 'never suspended.'  The child was asked to leave until he got approval from a psychologist, paid for by his parents, that he was not a threat to himself or others.  Eight years old!  His father says he has no history of behavior problems.    So, what game is the principal playing by saying the boy was not 'suspended'?

This battle is every bit as important as anything any missionary is doing, and if you think protecting your kids is a cushy job not worthy of mentioning--well, I"m sure you don't think that...

The local school system has decided to take a hard line on this instead of admitting the error of their ways in traumatizing this little boy--put yourself in his shoes or his parents shoes--not to mention depriving them of their rights, so, they can tell  it to a Judge and Jury because this isn't going away.

We are still a Christian country, regardless of what  some might say, and we should take back our public schools and insist the Bible is read every day, and every child is taught about Jesus. Does that look radical to you?  That is the way the public schools were run in this country until this past century. Children were taught to read with the Bible.   There is nothing in our Constitution about separation of church and state, only that we have religious freedom--which is getting more and more scarce by the day.

natcat86

I wouldn't want my child learning about Jesus at school. It's my job as a parent to tell him about the Lord. I'm fresh out of mainstream christianity and have left my church because I do not want my son to learn about Jesus from people who believe in ET. There are so many varying interpretations of christianity and different teachings and doctrine that I dont want anyone but my husband and I deciding what my child learns. The bigger the seperation between church and state the better I say.

I dont understand, if the gov. cant be trusted with health care why would you want them to be involved in teaching children about Jesus. In this country catholic schools are one of the biggest athiest making machines there is!

You have much religious freedom as far as I can see, you can worship who you want, in any private setting,  in your home you can teach you children whatever you like. But if you make school a place for teaching about the Lord, well whose version? Catholic, Mormon, Protestant, ET, UR?  :dontknow:

That's a good point, I guess.  However, it is possible to tell children who Jesus is without any other overlay of religious doctrine, since that is the way I was taught.

They could sing, "Jesus loves the little children," instead of "Obama loves the little children" or "Allah is God."

They could learn to read from the Book of Proverbs, or the Christmas story from the Book of Mark.  And, if any parent didn't like the idea, they could give their input, like you just did, on how they would like to see it changed, and opt out of the program if they wished.  Opting out is not something that is allowed now to the parents of the kindergarteners who are being taught about homosexual marriage in these same school systems, by the way.

Lexington, Mass., father of 6-year-old arrested, spends night in jail over objections to homosexual curriculum in son's kindergarten class.
"Because of the same-sex marriage law people are treating this as a mandate to teach the youngest of children."
        - David Parker, parent of 6-year-old, arrested Apr. 27, 2005

http://www.massresistance.org/docs/parker/main.html

natcat86

One option is homeschool. If its the Lords will He will make a way financially. I'm training as a primary school teacher at the moment. I personally like that my child will go through our school system gaining a broad knowledge of other faiths and life styles. I think that it will make him a well rounded person who can find common ground with all sorts of people. I will put all he learns into the context of our faith when he gets home. But I hope that given all the facts he will be able to make his own mind up to follow the Lord one day and also be able to share his faith with people in a non judgemental loving way.

I think that one of the reasons that Jesus drew people to Him the way He did was because He really knew people. He'd seen it all before. I think its part of being in the world but not of it.

If we wont the freedom to tell children about Jesus in classes we have to tell them about Allah too. Its part of living in a multi faith country. But one is seeds and one is just words.

Molly

QuoteIf we wont the freedom to tell children about Jesus in classes we have to tell them about Allah too. Its part of living in a multi faith country. But one is seeds and one is just words.

I totally disagree with you.  These are little children, not college students taking a comparative religion course.  If you happen to have some different demographic, then parents could separate the children according to the parents wishes.  But in most cases, you will find a completely Christian classroom being forced to learn about Ramadan and Kwaanza [whatever that is--ask me if I care], and that is something that when you do it to young children, you are indoctrinating them to see either all religions as equal or all religions as nonsense.

Remember the goal here--the government is God.  Ask Chairman Mao.

"Give me a child for for his first seven years and I'll give you the man"

natcat86

You could teach a child about Jesus every day of their school career and they might never know him. The facts of the matter are just words until the Holy Spirit reveals the truth. By teaching children religious tolerance it doesn't mean they will never know the Lord, he draws who He choses and it doesn't matter what they were taught in school. A person's education has no bearing on whether the Holy Spirit gives them a revalation and that is the only way they will ever really know who Jesus is.

Chairman Mao decided there was black and white, a right and a wrong answer. Is that what you want in schools. The right answer is taught and the wrong answer ignored or ridiculed. Who gets to decide what is right and wrong?

Molly

QuoteWho gets to decide what is right and wrong?

The Christian majority as long as it lasts, which right now is looking like around 20 years in Europe and maybe 40 in America.  When there is no longer a Christian majority in your country, then you will see what the face of intolerance really looks like, because I can guarantee you, they are not teaching comparative religion to children in the Muslim countries.
