Well, this is the pastor I've shared UR with, most recently sent him the "Hell Test" off the TM homepage.  I understand he was preaching on "the end times", which of course, from his perspective, would include most of humanity being tossed into "hell" forever.

I think I hear God telling me to not do anything further with him right now, that He will send someone else along next.  We'll see.

He and his family are greatly suffering the ravages of sin, as do many on Tentmaker

Care to expound ?

... are you not aware of the many illnesses and troublings that afflict many of your members here at tentmaker?  take a walk through the "Prayer Room." you even wrote a number of the posts!

... this is not "black propaganda," peacemaker, it is the truth. see for yourself.  you think the things recounted there demonstrate the blessing and abundant life promised by God?

Jesus said, "I have come, that they may have life, and have it to the full."

What God desires may be opposite to that of your own thinking. Paul in Galatians (5:22) writes about the fruit of the spirit being: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. To this we could include;  purity, humility, modesty, character, wisdom, enthusiasm, dignity, optimism, confidence, honesty and mercy. This is what it means to have life in all its fullness. And, these things come from God, who is the giver of all good things.

The "abundant life" is free from selfishness, hatred, lust, unforgiveness, envy, jealousy, fear, drunkenness, sexual immorality, discord, anger, dishonesty, greed, gossiping, slander, pessimism and despair. Where love grows cold!

But the good news is that God can remove all of these negative characteristics from a person's life – as it is a matter of a heart condition.

BTW – one of my daughters has a genuine disability (not a false demon from the imagination of men) and participates in Special Olympics, but this would be frowned upon by your mentors. Remember, I previously mentioned that I have consumed their entire writings, and in conclusion find their love for others to be artificial at best, and I am not talking about a Mardi Gras, but the product of their flesh! The medals these children receive are awarded for their attitudes, and faith for which they should be commended. One cannot esteem themselves!

"Words with an insinuating appearance are seldom associated with true virtue."

In humility consider others better than yourself!

:cloud9: Good word peacemaker....  Because of my job, I got to take 3 handicapped women to the State Special Olympics one year, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Just the sight of over 6000 joy-filled handicapped people was so humbling. They have much to be unhappy about, but most don't complain and give back so much more to us caregivers than we can ever give to them. Blessings....

Very good question, but do you think she would have really answered you?  :Sparkletooth:

pm, can you explain a little further for the simple-minded (of which I am one)?
