Let me take a crack at "We were made in the image of God's eternity." Taken from the wisdom of Solomon. We know Solomon wrote Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Song of Solomon , so the wisdom of Solomon is not included in the 📚 bible. But I am impressed with the statement - " We were made in the image of God's eternity." Power packed phrase and interesting phraseology.

God has an image on earth, through us humans, and he has an image in heaven , so we can safely say he has an image in eternity. A fingerprint that marks it as his domain and territory. Eternity is full of the consciousness of God, it thus flows with his image. His creations liter the vast landscape and it's peace a constant reminder of who's image rules here. Eternity is the image of God, it's the living mids of God.

Eternity is God's home and his kingdom. It is here that God rest and relax and enjoys himself. He more than likely must deal with every day ruling on his throne , but takes an occasion to walk in his eternity. Eternity must have all kinds of extensions of God , signs of him, and ways and means he has established. Even eternity is nothing without God. So much rides on him.

Mickiel

The bible does not try to prove God's existence or his eternity , all we know is God was and is forever. He said ," I am that I am." He never came into existence and will never go out of it. It's a puzzle. The source of life must have source of life , and that last source must have a source, to avoid endless regression there must be a source that needed no other source to exist. And that is God. I am who I am, I am what I am at present, I am what I have been , I am what I shall be , and shall be what I am.

Mickiel

The I Am God describes can be translated many ways, such as "I will be what I will be  "or "I will become whatsoever I become." And God became to Israel whatever they needed.  Their salvation and deliverer. The eternally constant God. The self sufficient one. He will become whatever he becomes, again a possible ID of him being Chameleon or shape shifter.

Mickiel

In Isaiah 46:9 " Remember the former things of old, for I am God and there is none else. I am God, and there is none like me." Here God speaks dogmatically and individually , in Isaiah 45:5," I am the Lord , and there is none else , there is no God beside me" , and Jesus was sitting besides him when  he spoke this. He keeps saying I Am and I alone am what I am. So The Father and Christ are different in many ways, alike in others. I believe Jesus to be a God, just a different kind of God than the Father. The Father has never been reduced in power or exposed to death,  Jesus had to do both. That makes them different right there. They are alike in character , principles and thinking.

Mickiel

So the relationship between God and Christ is interesting. They love each other , Jesus adores his Father. Once Jesus realized who he was on earth , that part of his consciousness given  Back to him , he couldn't wait to get back to the Father.

So any communication that goes on between Jesus and the Father is a treat of insight. This makes Jesus prayer in John 17 extraordinary. He tells the Father he has cared for his disciples. Teaching them about God. Jesus believed in their potential to the future. They  believed in his divine origin. So he is praying for them.  This is holy conversation , nothing else as important. Unselfish prayer at its finest. He ask that they be kept in God's name, protected. That they be one in unity.  Sanctified by the truth. A lovely prayer , showing intimacy between God And Christ.

Mickiel

Divine care and concern for man from God. What a being he is. It's hard to imagine him as a gentle being, holding so much power in his hands. But gentleness is one of the 🍓 fruit of the spirit , which means it's a way of God. It makes you want to know him : that's how it affects me. He's so kind and good , I just know he would be good to me. Good to everyone. I just know that everyone who sits on God's throne with him , Jesus and the 24 Elders, benefit greatly just being exposed to God like that. It must do things to them that make them evolve into fantastic powerful beings.

Mickiel

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all mankind.
The same grace that permeates eternity. But this we live in now is not eternity , We are not perfect , so the Father is the best hope we  have , we really need him. His will can make us perfect in every good work , to do his will. Heb.13:21 he offers us his grace instead of his judgement. This gives us the edge we need , can't you see how they are stacking the deck for us!  All of us, the just and unjust,, 1Pet. 3:18.

So as we grow in God's grace , we are destined for an encounter between time eternity. I expect a delicate blend.
Some expect time to end. I still think eternity is endless time. I don't understand the studies here on eternity and everlasting time , but there are some good ones.

Mickiel

Jesus said in John 10:27-28 his sheep hears his voice and follow him. And I give them eternal life and they will never perish and no one will snatch them out of my hand. A very possessive statement. They want us with them in eternity. No doubt about it. Death was not meant to be , it is abnormal.

Mickiel

To all humans eternity is a new world , a new beginning and a new life. In Rev. 21:7" He that over cometh shall inherit  All things , and I will be his God, and he shall be my son." There's no telling how much "inherit All things" is going to entail. In verse 5 God said "Behold , I make all things new ".  Is ancient eternity included in this renewing?  Is God about to redo eternity? Is he going to make a giant pivot and set eternity in a new direction?

Will the book of life be written over ? Notice Rev. 22nd chapter and 19 verse,  And if any man shall take away from the words of the prophecy of this book, God shall "Take away"  his part out of the book of life ,  meaning his name was already in the book. Meaning  the first state of all humans is that we are all in the book of life , and only God can remove that free inheritance.  If a human did these things then God has to "Take away his part and pull it out",: because it's already in there.

So in eternity we now,. At this moment , we are all written in
the book of life and have a part in the Holy City, which may be a mansion there . Because they would be "Taken out of the Holy City as well. This is good news for sure for sinners and unbelievers ,  they were automatically in the 📖 book of life and have a part in the Holy City as well.
So Satan and demons Are basically trying to remove people from the book of life , he knows we're already in there.

Mickiel

But our names cannot be removed by anyone or demons. In John 10:28 God gives us eternal life and no man is able to pluck us out of his hand.

This is great hope and prerecorded salvation. In Titus 1:2," in hope of eternal life , which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began." I have never seen God in scripture remove anyone from the book of life.

Mickiel

In Luke 10:20, and Phil. 4:3 names are written in the book of life. We cannot be erased from the book of life , Rev.3:5, Romans 8:37-39. The book of life is also the Lambs book of life, Rev.13:8, 21:27. The Lords promise in Rev. 3:5 is to never blot out a name. The promise of eternity is very real in scripture. We've been set up to live and have life abundantly. The fear of eternity will be blotted out.

Mickiel

Having your name in the book of life is effective.  It keeps you from making shipwreck of your faith. Your already in there, that is protection within itself. The book must first be taken from Christ then God , then you removed: that's not going to happen. God will keep you.

Yes indeed.  The Love, Joy and Will of God is our keeper. Our sanctuary in a fortress of solitude.  Jesus is our King and The Father our Majestic Monarch, our doom will not be allowed to pass them.,they start getting rid of anything and everything that could cause us to fail. The false prophet and death are thrown into  the lake of 🔥 fire.  We begin eating from the tree of life for our healing. Angels tell us incredible story's about ourselves and how close we came to traps and trickery , but our safe box was secure in the banks of the kingdom. We will be treated regal and living in a mansion right off. Our homes filled with love , joy and will.

We are the real untouchables!  No charges filled against us. And heavens king our steadfast ally and Lord. There was a cross he bore for us , a serious beating he took for us , a regal death he laid down for us. The Father right there never forsaken him , the two of them never forsaking us. A love story. , A romance; An inheritance , They will change us, do things to us, prop us up and tune us up with a mighty charge that will instantly evolve us into magnificent spirit beings.

Great change is coming and we will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. The Kindness and love of God our Savior toward men has appeared. We were literally made heirs according to the Hope of eternal life. And the scripture , foreseeing that God would justify the heathens through faith , preached before the gospel unto Abraham, Saying , in thee shall ALL  nation's be blessed. Nothing can keep us from this blessing.  God is justifying the heathens or unbelievers , and writing their names in the book.  Stunning  salvation. Yes even unbelievers. In John 12:47,"And if any man hear my words and  believe not, I judge him not. For I came not to judge the world ,   but to save the world. Unbelievers saved  and not judged. He came here after the garden of Eden not to judge the world but to save the WORLD! To add to the book ,  More names not to remove names. Praise be to him who's heart is for us. He will see us through. Like a juggernaut he has plowed down sin.

Mickiel

We were made  heirs , Jesus said "You did not choose me , but I choose you to go and bear fruit." To Bear witness to his name.  To get fruit that will last.  Many believers just will not do this. They leave all that up to God and the Holy Spirit. But The thing is that Jesus commands we do it. Christians have gotten to comfortable. In John 18:37 , witness to the truth. The Greek noun for truth is aletheia  , which means reality , the opposite  of what is false or illusion. This can be as simple as to share our experience with others. People  need to be set free. In John 8:32 , the truth will set you free. Not hearing witness is a bad habitual way amoung some believers. They prefer complacent silence and hoarding the truth to themselves. When we bear witness it is God and Christ who are revealed.

Mickiel

I remember when I first learned the truth.. it was pitiful, God forgive me.  I went on a tour across the internet , witnessing and fighting everywhere. Getting that truth out  there. I didn't realize I had a sharp two edged sword in my hands , not  before I had cut hundreds to peices.  I was banging  people on the head with my bible , fussing and arguing fighting everyday, thinking I was doing God's work. I got kicked out of more places than I could count.
Whew what days those were, I didn't know what I was doing. Did  not have a clue how to correctly bear witness. Lord have mercy.

Hello Andrew,

I used to be in a baptist church , when I was around 17 I began to question their doctrines, especially the hell doctrine. It got to the point I could no longer just sit in there disagreeing with these people all the time. So I left to find a church in couLd relate to. That was 45 years ago and I still have not found one. I did find several universalism websites , this being one of them. So I basically walked alone. God showed me many things in those years , and he didn't want me to go back  to all the churches I tried. So I studied Tentmakers material , l Ray Smith , and even
Tried local churches. They were not for me. So I walked alone for 50 years. But God kept me learning.

Mickiel

The calling of God now is a lonely proposition. It's really lonely. I miss God and don't even know him. Few there be who walk this path. I was called some 40 years ago. I don't view Myself as chosen. And God's spirit does not remain in me,it comes and goes. But it has taught me over the years. The calling of God is just a matter of time. It's clear with me that not many wise men are called. So God has chosen .the foolish to confuse the wise.  I know I am called because of what God has done to my consciousness.

pretty similar; I used to be a baptist.
Still do not agree with their doctrines, but have come to know that this is because it is not their turn to know the truth yet.
Each in their appointed time is literal.

Ergo;
1 Thess 4;11,12 " Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to attend to your own affairs, and to work with your own hands, just as we directed you. In this way you will live a life in a proper manner for the benefit of outsiders and have personal need of no one."

Add in the observation of Rev 22;11
                                    " He that is doing unjustly let him still do unjustly, and he that is filthy let him still be made filthy;
and he that is righteous let him still do righteousness,
and he that is holy let him still be holy."

Paul made the observation to the Corinthians;
1 Cor 3;4-7 " For as soon as one begins to say-
' I am indeed of Paul!
and another says, 'I am of Apollos!
                       Are you not men?
What then is Apollos? And what is Paul?, ministers through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him.
I planted, Apollos watered,- BUT GOD CAUSED TO GROW.
So that neither he that planted, nor he that watered is anything- but God, Who causes to grow.

1 Cor 3;21-23 " So then let no one be boasting in men;
                        for all things are yours-
whether life or death, or the world,
whether Paul, or Apollos, or Peter,
or things present, or things to come,
                          ALL are yours,
                           and you are Christ's,
                          and Christ is God's."

Awesome statement. Hence rely on no one.

The O.T is full of examples of this concept. Many called, but few chosen.
The prophets were never liked. They required the people to make changes to their life style.

Amen!!!!! A wicked and adulterous nation seek a sign, and not sign will be given except the sign of Jonah- that is the resurrection of Christ after 3 days- so no signs.
This seems to highlight that the modern signs many are claiming today are false. Casting out demons, healing... in Jesus name- yet Christ states He NEVER knew them. They are an example of the miss-use of power. Howling impostors in fact.[2 Tim 3;13]

All this could be part of where there is the reference to where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name there I will be in the midst of them.
2 or 3-  not 2000 or 3000.

I.M.O we are sealed by His spirit. The peace of God which cannot be explained. We are not required to work miracles.
The time can seem like there is nothing happening, but you are protected and learning from the source at His rate, not yours.
May the reality of this statement touch your heart and encourage you.
