Satan is a tool that the great potter is using for our benefits, no tool designed to help is can hurt us beyond what is allowed. He could sift humanity like wheat in seconds if God does not restrain him. There are unseen battles at play, Satan wants to ruin humanity.
Pretty good summary.

I am curious , What does everyone think God will do to Satan in the end? Salvation will be completed , the Kingdom established; now what of Satan's fate? In my view God is going to will him out of existence. Why would God keep anything around for eternity that he does not like? I think he'll just will him gone.

One of the tenants of Universal Salvation are the tools we can see God using. Some tools are obvious and great, like Christ. He employs the world, sin, history , angels, even emotion, family relationships, pain and Satan. The grave and death. Death and the grave are thrown into the lake of fire, that is their end.

God uses peace, patience, love, kindness, mercy and forgiveness in salvation, and those things will never end. Some are of the opinion that Satan will never end. I cannot see that. I see his use in salvation I cannot see his eternity. I see no salvation purpose in giving him eternity. What salvation purpose has Satan in eternity?

One could say that Jesus is an eternal, who was reduced to humanoid to die for our salvation. We can learn a bit more about fear from Jesus, don't you think?

Will you think with me?

We have a chance to key in on an actual fear from an eternal who stares at death. Jesus is life  : now he must die. He speaks "Father why has thou forsaken me." What was the eternal Jesus feeling? Stripped of his eternity now his life. God had not really forsaken him, he just felt like he did. Whew I know he must have felt horrible. Jesus was perhaps scared, fearful: I feel like that when I think God has forsaken me. Jesus had always been with the Father, now they have space between them. Oh how it must have really hurt the Father to hear his son say that.

But fear and eternity have met each other, it's no strange thing.

Mickiel

In Rev.21:4 " And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." I can see some fear beginning to be dealt with in us here.. it says former things are passed away. I consider Satan a former thing.

Mickiel

In Rev.22:10" Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book." So the book of Revelation is not sealed knowledge or secret mystery, it's open to all. In verse 3 there shall be no more curse. No fear, no sin, no Satan, no pain or sorrow. God is going to will them out of existence. Now salvation is poured into eternity for all humanity. Now the healing of all problems begins.

Having the courage to view life from a different perspective than mankind requires wisdom and knowledge that is literally not of this age. Seems to be this way so that true equality is brought in to reality only through Christ.
While we are learning from experience,  we have the security of position.
The healing of the real world will be the total change of values and lifestyle.
I.M.O these changes have been demonstrated in part among us as a hint of those to come- difference being the scale that these changes will reach.

Mickiel

Yes, the total rehabilitation of mankind.

This one would not be foolish enough to pretend to know anything of eternal life, and yet in my lack of knowledge I am forced to make observations.

It is so human to think that there is but physical birth and death, and then life in ecstatic heaven for eternity, where there is just 'enjoying' the surroundings in the earthly concept of heavenly reward.

But, I think that the human outlook overlooks the obvious, and the obvious is that to be Divine life and Divine love, there must always be creativity. To be alive is to be able to create, and to create again. Then to support that creation, to nurture it, to love it with unrelenting, everlasting love - and that love must be of Him or it is not love.

So, what does eternity as God's children mean? It surely means an eternity of creating and all that accompanies the responsibility of creating. God's children, made out of Himself, Divine Spirit, made of the Creator, the One who creates - who must create - because He is Love.

God's children granted eternal life, because out of Himself He has given individuality to share in His creation with Him - created out of His Spirit, out of His Substance, to learn to create selflessly for the sake of Creation.

Out of His timeless eternal Self He has granted His children His own life Source which has no beginning in time and has no end in time - and that timelessness is within each one of His children whether they know it, whether they want it - or not. As He said, it is within. Now is the time - this moment, this now, it has always been eternal life because of His gift of life from His eternal Self.

Typical of the human mind to think that when Christ said that the humans who followed Him would do greater thangs than He did there and then - how typical of humans with their limited concepts of Divine life, to think He was referring to miracles on this tiny deteriorating earthly globe.

The human devises his dogma to suit his limited mind - he says, I am favoured of God because I have had this truth revealed before other men - yet his truth is so removed from Divine reality - and so he rules out the immense vastness of what God has to give throughout eternity - and those gifts include the gift of giving in turn.

My opinion is, not to demean the Lord God of all life by limiting what He has to give His children - and to accompany this must be lived the life of the humble heart, the obedient heart - as shown in the life of Christ Jesus. These latter characteristics must exist to enter the life that God has in store for His children, there is no other way - the humble heart, the obedient heart.

So, in my ignorance, at least I am aware that I know nothing, and for that I am grateful.

Peace
"A few drops of blood renew the whole world, and become for all men that which rennet is for milk, uniting and drawing us into one". "Christ is like leaven for the entire mass, and having made that which was damned one with himself, frees the whole from damnation".

Oh I really enjoyed reading that Last post. I am excited about the future where old men will dream dreams and you young men will begin to expound on this knowledge. I cannot describe a being like God who has always been alive. Inspire of all his greatness , he will never mistreat us. All the evil will "be no more", Rev.  18:14. Before God steps back into eternity he is going to will many things out of existence.

Mickiel

In Rev.22:3 , there shall be no more curse ,21:4 , the former things have passed away. This is a stellar way to begin our salvation in eternity. We will be made pure and clean  God and Christ will take special interest 💕 in how we act then. He begins by showing himself to us , no more hiding.  The effect this has on us will be stunning and healing.

Things are going to start disappearing, the sky, earth and sea will just past away, Rev.21:1, these are very large things. So I call it God willing something out of existence. Poof and their gone.

Mickiel

I guess by now the brethren here know my belief on Satan's fate..when God returns things will start disappearing. There will be fear in eternity because of this dark dangerous events. In Rev. 20;11, and I saw a great white throne , and him that sat on it ,
from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away ,and there Was found no place for them. There will be no place for the physical as God roars up his spiritual tide , like a giant wave God will stamp out everything he does not like. Humans are not included 😂 n this , I think demons are. Why find a place for them , for what? God is not going to put them in  a zoo, why memorialize sin?

Mickiel

The grace and peace of God will be multiplied in us by coming to know God's Salvation, knowledge of him and Christ 2Pet.1:2 and look, according as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and Godliness. Right here God is filling  us with his spirit and edging us into eternity. We are given the divine nature that God has which suits us for eternity. This is tremendous change as we are given great promises. We transition into holiness.

Mickiel

I have had lung cancer for 7 years , the doctor's have given me three different death dates that they said I would pass. The days slowly come as you wait on Satan to sink his claws into you , you see what death is like , as it affects you and those around you. Then life stays and you learn what Salvation is like. Over and over again the same drill, as death knocks at your door. You learn the hard way to trust in God.  It is easier to face death

Salvation is a reprieve from death, an extension into eternity.

Mickiel

The fears I am glad salvation will remove ; the fear of death; the fear of eternity; the fear of being unworthy , the fear of the unknown. The fear of God - perhaps not removed but purified and refined. The fear of the new birth. The fear of ignorance. The birth of fears.

My brother: what an awesome process it is coming to know the Lord of glory. It is a process that at times encompasses hopelessness. This earthly world is filled with little hope, but be of good cheer, His plans & purposes prevail.

Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

Mickiel

Yes to witness the unfolding of his plan will be stunning. When we begin to walk the streets of glory , they will have no end.. that first step will be full of joy and wonder. I think we will feel that for a time to come. I am sure angels will guide us

I'm sorry to hear about your cancer diagnosis.  You may live here yet a long time.

With the thread etc., I  remember this verse;  "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord..for me to die is gain".  "Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, the things God has prepared....."

Blessings.

Praise God for his holiness ,his goodness and his power. When the leader is good, the people rejoice. Eternity is consistent , it moves and beats like a heart pumping life. Everything about God is consistent. Yet God loves us so much, that our prayers give him joy and happiness. His ways do not change. His character does not change. Oh he may change his appearance from time to time. Whatever he wears. He may change the agenda, and change the food. But it's garenteed that he will always love 💕 and care for his own.

We think we have a good imagination:
Yet our Father loves us more than we can comprehend.
Absolutely nothing can keep us from the love of God through Christ our Lord, and saviour
