new insight..just now.    A final assault of the lower waters against the Higher waters.[manchild/throne].in the camp of the Holy city

   that will not overcome....

Sheila just now I was putting my son down for a nap and had just fallen asleep for a second while laying beside him. I had a very quick dream and it was you with the baby and the waves. What I got was that you are being used as a "mother" figure to love and protect the Christ child within many of His children against the floodwaters of the evil one. (Including in a very large way the Christ in me!)  :HeartThrob:

I thought of you and your dream this morning when in my morning reading was a verse about how "the Euphrates" symbolizing the enemy, Assyria (in this instance) would "flood and overflow its banks"... This was Isaiah 8:7 (5-10)

Maybe Babylon is materialism in our buy-now-pay-later economic system, in the setting of our world-wide system of corrupt banking and politics.   :eek:

city babble-on(and on!) is the one the kings/politicians are in bed with.. is the one who seduces all nations (7 continents/hills) with her enchantments..

"harlot" the greek word is "pornos" and "to sell".

city babylon is the one who made the merchants wealthy by her sorceries.. the spell she weaves which seduces the nations..

the one who has a "golden" cup of side effects (immoralities? perversions? abortions? sex slave trade? downfall of family and society) - "her crimes reach to heaven"/she shakes her fist at God?

the merchants weep over her when no one any longer buys the long list of their products, luxuries, perfumes, cloths, etc, etc, and the bodies and souls of men (male & female)

she is responsible (or her forehead/psyche) is responsible for aLL slain on earth. (Babble, all untruth?)

No millers wheel will be heard in her again.. in one hour her judgment comes (crashes?) in one day she falls..

she rides on the final (world) beast (body) (the kings are in bed w/ her) but the beast and its final days of man and gentile rule's "10 kings"/divisions of final days, will "devour her" and "raze her with fire" - socialism will (finally) consume capitalism - "per God's will"

the spirit of harlotry (greek="pornos") is also the flood/proliferation of rev 12:15 poured out after christianity trying to wash it away (trace 2 migrations! of rev 12! and eagle's wings!) the earth/drought will swallow the flood, see Luke 23:28-31!

I had a vision last night. I awoke to find my room completely filled with nightshades or some such evil spirits. They were all clothed in black smoky rag-robes and they were all screaming and yelling and casting a spirit of fear upon me.

I searched within myself and from my experiences in the past I looked at them angrily and I said, "Jesus is my Lord". They slowed down a little but were still surrounding me in a really quite scary image like a black fog with many faces and many voices.

I mustered some zeal up from the well within and I shouted, "JESUS!" and they drew back and became almost silent.

I looked at them again as I sat up in my bed and I shouted again, "JESUS!" and they all exploded like puffs of smoke but they lingered in the air and slowly began to change and I wondered why they were not leaving and began to muster more faith to rebuke them again. Thats when I saw them begin to change into hundreds of beautiful plants, vines, floral shapes like hanging baskets in a dense forested garden. I marveled at this for several minutes.

Finally, seeing that there was nothing to fear I lay down and went back to sleep.

When I awoke in the morning, as I walked to my subway stop, the thought came into my mind, "All the bogey men of your life. Your failures, your personal demons, your enemies and persecutors are only the stuff that will make you what I have called you to be. These things, that have caused you anger and fear and pain, I have overcome in you. They will become the garden of your being, the WHO of who you are, the fruitful vines from which you will share Me with others."

I took great encouragement from this. I hope it is encouraging to some of my friends on Tentmaker :o)

Interesting, Eaglesway.

I have prophetic dreams now and then.  They usually closely parallel something that later takes place in the church, my life, or the life of someone close to me.  I usually recognize them by their symbolic nature and vividness.  Sometimes I don't know how I know, but I just wake knowing that they are prophetic.  I noticed you said you had a vision, which in my definition is different from a dream.  I have only had one vision in my life that I know of, and it was a flash vision (lasting only a second or so) that occurred during prayer when my eyes were closed.  It was vivid, and I knew it was prophetic.

Recently, I dreamed I was at a church function and my son said, "Come here."  I followed him outside and into the edge of the woods, where he had uncovered the hidden entrance to an excavation in a eight-foot bank in the earth.  It was full of musical equipment and merchandise.  He suggestion it was a stolen stash from a store in town.  He then led me into a church building where we were searching for more stashes of stolen stuff.  Then he went into a bathroom and had a bad nosebleed that filled the toilet with bright red blood.  I wanted to leave for fear that the thieves would return with more stolen things to stash, and catch us there.  I believe this dream was prophetic, because it contained several items that were symbolic, but I haven't been given the meaning yet.

  unpleasant objectionable things that surround us and cause us to grow up stretching towards

the heavens..to leaf out and produce good fruit.

the body of beleivers being pillaged by robbers and theives] finding what was stolen and where they

had stashed them..is realizing we have been robbed of great spiritual treasures..also the store in town

with stolen goods can rep merchants or those that merchandise the word of God resulting also in this

same robbing and pillaging..and hiding true treasures and supplies of 'goods' in God nd Christ to man.

   the nose has to do with the discerning of spirits..and the twisting of it brings forth blood.[nosebleed]

   thus your son discerning the twisting of the true spirit of God by the robber and theive spirits..resulting

  in the provisions of life of God and the spirit 'going into the toilet'.......

   the fear of wanting to get out of there before they came back may be your desire to avoid a

confrontation with them[the theives and robbers]

Brother John,rereading this thread this morning brought to my mind something similiar to your disturbing dream/vision

     14-15 years ago...there was a giant picture on the wall....that fell into 1000's of peices down the wall..into pile on the floor

    ....the thought come to my mind..'an evil spirit has caused this" and I focused my anger against the evil entity behind this.

   when I did this....the 1000's of peices come back togather and the big picture..assembled into one beautiful painting.

   a picture paints a 1000 words...and so,too, the understanding of God's divine plan for His creation is divided into

   confusion by the spirit of babylon.

   the anger...as an impulse against evil is of the spirit...thus we have God's judgement against Babylon 'for the way she

treated you"[cause His little ones to stumble]   This takes God's wrath and applies it where it is directed..against the

spirit of babylon..not the children deceived or confused of her...the call,come out of her,my people.

   I inserted this hear,due to the fear/ anger evil parallel  in both .

Was this an actual event? or a dream/vision?

hey...it was a sealing up of instruction in a vision in the night....not a literal/material thing that occurred...although there

are literal parallels in the earth that show forth this truth.   People that  dwell in haunted houses[cage of unclean birds/

  Babylon]  oftentimes exhibit strange manifestations such as things falling off the walls etc.

So true.  I have learned to watch everything that goes on around me.  Not that I'm paranoid, but rather watchful and inquisitive.  I watch "coincidences," and I pay attention to my dreams, and notice unusual occurrences around me.  Sometimes I suddenly feel like God is ready to speak to me, and I just focus on him.  Please don't anybody think that I am superstitious - that is NOT what I am describing here.  I believe God speaks to us in many ways.  I also believe that most people don't notice when they see God do something, but it never occurs to them that God was involved (Like when your delayed - there may have been a major accident you would have been involved in). :2c:

IMO, The rapture will happen at the 7th trumpet.  As we are leaving, the wrath of God will be coming down on the earth.  I believe Marie has been saying the same thing.  Now look at what Jesus said:

26 "When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah's day. 27 In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 "And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building— 29 until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

--Luke 17


IMO, What he is saying here is that the world will not see it coming.   It also sounds like although the tribulation is happening, there are places where things are normal.
 
Things were going on as usual in Sodom until the angels came for Lot and he and his family left, then Sodom was destroyed.

The same in the days of Noah.  Everyone was oblivious and going about their daily lives until Noah entered the Ark, and then the flood came.

IMO, we will also be removed because we are not appointed to wrath.

The 7th trumpet will be at the end of the tribulation.   So this is a post-trib rapture.

The tribulation is not the wrath of God.  It is the time of Jacob's trouble.

The wrath of God immediately follows the tribulation and the rapture.



And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.   Rev 16:1
