Hi BA, In answer to your question about won't the unsaved(now) be bored in heaven?
IMO, you can't be bored being with that which you love more than anything.
I have friends that love fishing. -Me -I'm bored before we even get in the boat but I'm there out of love for my friends.
I love working out at the gym, my fishing friends are bored as soon as we get to the door why are they there? Out of love for me
My point is, I think that once all these unsaved see what Love really is, what it does, how it works,
and then understand that God IS that Love and what he has done for us, I believe just being with the
person we love changes the whole dynamic.
Whenever my kids would say to me, "I'm bored." I would say, "the person you are with is not interesting enough"
They would reply, "but I'm alone in my room."
My reply, "If you're bored when you're alone, you need to make yourself more interesting by doing or learning something."
Of course, it fell on deaf ears for the most part.

I see your point but that doesnt convince me from what the scriptures tell,  The light came into the world but the darkness preffered darkness to light & comprehended it not, they prefered there dark deeds it goes to say,  If they call dakness light & light darkness then they definatly prefer something other than GOD, how can they be with the person Jesus when they are liivng a shis enemy & they are thrown into punishment, unless Jesus is hanging out with them in hell,  God has testified abut his son & the world is a liar to this truth, Let God be true and every man a lier, they surpress this truth, light is not osmethong on there agenda or attracted to it either, but the pure of heart will see God Jesus said!
If they dont love him now im not convinced they ever will?  And what would change that, it's too late maybe? they had a God given chance now everyday, mayba life time is enough chance in God's eyes?
If they love him just because they see him as he is oneday how can God be satisfied with such response?
Maybe he will show them Jesus death on the cross & say I showed u the full extent of my love already,  But u denyed the truth & neither followed it, they go into punishment and then there is still hope?   I hope so , I hope so

IMO, It's more of a "forgive them Father for they know not what they do."
Since God is the one that opens eyes and he is the only one responsible to bring us to Jesus
and we were all sheep that had gone astray
and he is the good shepherd...
Once the truth is seen it cannot be unseen and no one will desire any part of the sinful life they've had.
Sin is NOT love. We will be consumed by love and the sin will be as dross for our God is a consuming fire. :2c: :Peace2:

Regarding the merging thing:  I have thought along those lines, too, because Jesus can read people's minds and he says, you have to be more righteous than the pharisees, even your thoughts have to be clean.  That would make sense if people communicated by reading minds instead of by language.  So often in this life we think one thing and say another.  We try to hide our thoughts.  I don't think that will work in heaven.  And, who wants to read the mind of a porno freak, for instance.

Lomarah:  Could you share your vision?

Sheila:  I always thought that parable was talking about the Jews.  He offered it to the Jews first and they refused so he went out to the Gentiles and brought in everyone who would come.  Why do you say it's about fallen angels?

BA nobody will be bored because the notion that we float in white robes and worship god for eternity is not biblical. In fact nobody goes to heaven (like churches teach). THe resurrection is what our hope is in. Christ will be subjecting all things through/with us. We will live inn glorious bodies reconciling all things. Spreading the fire of God as ministers of flaming fire. When God is all in all is the last scene the bible shows IMO. So we dont know what happens. But God is creative so I dont imagine we will be totally stationary.

When He revealed himself to moses in the bush it was not as yhwh, i am what i am. No it was as I will become what i will become. God is about growing His family. Who knows what it holds but I DO know that being in His presence is never boring. You see to be in His presence is to be transformed into His image. With that comes riches that far exceed any acivities that might keep us not bored.

Boring is waking up, going to work, and then spending your cash on things you don't need. What happens next? Repeat. - now that is boring.

Molly was wondering what Father showed me. There was no vision, He spoke it to me. I was praying and I don't even remember exactly what I was saying. But it had something to do with being ashamed of my failures/sin/hurting others. He spoke to me and said so tenderly that it was not "me", that I was being taken advantage of by evil spirits, and that He is going to destroy all of those things that are causing me harm (evil spirits). I understood that that is what He meant when He said that He is a jealous God.

In that instant I felt so beautiful, and so innocent, almost like a child again. I felt like myself again.

I know that many may not receive this, and I hesitated to share it at first because of it. It was a very personal moment between Father and I and the last thing I would want is for anyone who cannot see it to be tempted to try and trample it and rip it to shreds. Only God can open our eyes to these things and it is not my prerogative to try and convince anyone to what He has shown me. I share because it is a witness for those whom He will show. (Which, eventually, will be all of us.)

Im finding a remearkable thing as im flushing out my traditional beliefs with God's help,  IN my new found revelations im seeing 2 different types of ppl respond the ET are very harsh & never show compassion even though they believe eternal torture, they never say I wish it weren't so,  They even show no mercy to the state of the poor soul who burns even literaully :O   :eek:

I really lke u bunch in here I can sense a love you have for him & truth, Your image of God is that of my convictions & experience when I know his love despite my former beliefs which i still need to clarify & make sense of i nmy own mind.  Im very happy to find kind people not harsh ones,  I already had enough ill feeling in church's before usually the leaders & the more I know God the more I want to run away from the traditions of men,  Its better for me to not even fellowship with penners for a for a long time i feel.  Sometimes we need unconditioning well always I guess.

I-me, myself have not found that "heaven" is the final destination. Joh 14:2  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Now, since the location is the Father's house, and that is where a place is being prepared, and that's where Jesus is, then that is where all will, at the All in All. ".... that God may be all in all." I Cor. 15:28  :HeartThrob: :dsunny:

Hi Battle Axe,

For me, saying we are here as a test is absolutely NOT true.  When do you take a test?  Before you were taught anything?  Sometimes, perhaps, but the only thing that would prove is how little you know BEFORE you learn the things that are on the test, true?

So how could Adam and Eve know, when obiously they had NO knowledge of good and evil BEFORE they partook of the tree, that it was evil to disobey God?  Anyone would fail that test.  IMHO, of course.

You can tell someone something but until you really experience it, I don't know how you could KNOW it.  You tell a child not to touch the stove because it's HOT and will burn their finger.  To them, it's a challenge and so they do it because they just can't not do it and THEN they learn what hot and burn really means and that it was good advice NOT to touch it.  But UNTIL they experienced the pan and discomfort, it was only words and the very fact that they were commended not to made them o it.

For me, the light dawned when I came upon some of A.P.Adams' writings.  He proposed that the beginning of the Bible was a prophetical account, outlining what from our viewpoint is future, man being very good.  Then the second account beginning in Genesis 2 is NOT a more detailed account of the first account but the BEGINNING of how He IS ACCOMPLISHING that feat.  We are still clay in the potter's hands, even NOW, having been deliberately marred so we can know what it is to be alienated from God and subjected to all the vanity that will be expelled from God's universe after it has served its purpose.  Some of us are currently (or from our viewpoint some WERE in our past timeframe) vessels of wrath which is the backdrop to reveal His magnificance, (Think Pharaoh, King Saul, Nebudchadnezzar, etc)  Similar to a black velvet cloth which displays the magnificence of a stunning diamond.  Although a diamond is pretty in daylight, against the black, it takes your breath away.

So these ages, far from being a testing ground to see who is worthy and who will on their own find the truth, are ages in which He patiently works out all His will in the way He feels is perfect to create sons in HIS image.

How would it possibly be a fair test when some are born into the lap of luxury in the heart of 'God's people' and others are born in the worst of health and/or poverty to parents who either hate any form of deity or perhaps die hard Buddhists, or Muslims, where you might die a painful death if you rebel and turn to Christ?  No, scriptures tell us that NO MAN can come to God unless the Spirit DRAGS him and that is not a test, in my opinion. 

God has formed the ages for a purpose and does not sit back helplessly offering hearty encouragement for good deeds and hisses for evil deeds.  He operates ALL according to His will.

Be of good cheer.  The gospel is GOOD NEWS for all people.  Heaven is the origin and end of authority, not a place 'out there somewhere' where good children go when they die.  We will be an integral part of God's drawing 'the rest' to Him.  Then, again in my humble opinion, a new set of ages will begin where we will all have exciting tasks to accomplish.
