Every time an aberration occurs, we declare it "the new norm". So now all children must grow up "trained to expect terror", when actually, as horrifying as these kinds of events are, the odds of them happening to a child are much less than that of a child being hit by lightning, or killed by a car driven by a drunk, or killed by a bacterial or viral infection contracted in a hospital.
Why isnt President Obama touring the country speaking about lightning safety, or drunk drivers, or inferior hospital care for poor children?

Just not got the press value I guess.

When will the president try banish prescription drugs??
That for sure is not going to happen. Why?
Because just like guns, they do much more good than harm.

Why hasn't anything been said about the guns the shooter used were already illegal?

Every shooter has been on antidepressants which have as a side effect violence and suicidal tendencies.

Dead you are right that 125000 are killed from prescribed meds. But those numbers have been shown to be only 10% of actual incidences. (All iatrogenic injury is reported at only 10%). With the current numbers that are reported, medical injury is the fourth leading cause of death in the US. With the actual numbers iatrogenic injury(medical error) is the number one cause of death in the US. In 10 years more people will be killed by modern medicine than all of the people killed in the wars America has been in COMBINED.

This is not a knock at any doctor. I believe the vast majority are ethical and caring people. It's just that they are selling a product that they have been lied to about too. And I'm not saying there is no good out of modern medicine. But there is a real problem and if the govt wants to save children they should stop with the wholesale assault on their body that starts during the birth process.

It's to make children more receptive to TV "programming," which is a sort of soft-core MK Ultra thing, I suppose.  I watch little TV for that reason.

I saw a film in Psychology class where they showed kids that learned and imitated what they saw on TV when they were as young as toddlers. This is good in one way i.e. they learn faster (about 65%) than kids that didn't see a video about what was to be learned. It was bad in that they imitated ALL the behavior and we all know how rampant TV is with sex, violence and everyone acting like there is no God. You almost have to back to movies in the 50's to actually see a person on TV or people discussing God in relation to what is happening.

Maybe, possibly, could be, I am[my opinion only] am not connecting dots. I, by my own fault and weakness, continue to listen to current events.
I do not disallow totally, the literal findings of the Bible, but I find my strength with the words of Jesus.

I believe that as long as the clutter of our(mine included) thinking anchors on the established religion and denominational teachings, that we(me included) came from still keep seed in our thought, until we(me included) shed that chaff, we(me included) are bound to start from that teaching and thought, rather than what the Bible and The Teacher offers. The Spirit is the energy, and the Adam mind cannot discern what the Spirit is offering. Prophecy is a burden and prediction that comes from the Lord, not from what is happening, it is a word that expresses from what has happened and it's consequences from the Lord and His pleasure or displeasure of those actions from mans choices.
I yearn for prophecy, I want prophecy, Paul teaches me to await prophecy. 1Co 14:5  and I wish you all to speak with tongues, and more that ye may prophecy, for greater is he who is prophesying than he who is speaking with tongues, except one may interpret, that the assembly may receive edification [building, confirmation].

All this is but my opinion.

"It's like church over here," Foxx told the audience. "First of all, give an honor to God and our Lord and Savior Barack Obama."
"Barack Obama," he shouted as the audience cheered.
Florida A&M professor Barbara Thompson published a book titled "The Gospel According to Apostle Barack." The book likens Obama to Jesus Christ and Martin Luther King, Jr.
"I learned that Jesus walked the earth to create a more civilized society, Martin (Luther King) walked the earth to create a more justified society, but, Apostle Barack, the name he was called in my dreams, would walk the earth to create a more equalized society, for the middle class and working poor," she wrote in an excerpt published by The Daily Caller. "Apostle Barack, the next young leader with a new cause, had been taken to the mountaintop and allowed to see over the other side."
A controversial painting of President Obama, posed as Jesus Christ on the cross, was part of an art exhibit at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston.

And at the Democratic National Convention street vendors were selling an array of products including a prayer garment embroidered with President Obama's name — along with a calendar that declared him "heaven sent."
The entry also included a photograph of Obama along with a passage of Scripture from the New Testament.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life," the entry read — referencing John 3:16.
The month of November includes an image of individuals with their hands on Obama's back — with the words "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want."  - Todd Starnes"

No longer was The Word hidden in a tent/tabernacle under multiple layers of wool, badger skins, porpoise skins, and the like, all those veils.  The Word was walking and talking among people as a man, down here with us.  He died down here so that we could live up there...

If Revelation chapter 13 is read very closely, we can see that the 'little' beast, a man (for we have his number, verses 11-18) steps into the 'big' or world beast/body (verses 1-10) which expired once because its head did not after all sign on. Verse 13:13 reveals the office the final little one comes from, he (this office) makes fire 'come down' upon earth/man, in the sight of man - convincing them to rebuild the world beast/body.. think a new fire, and think 1945, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. {How is it missed?!? this prophecy and fulfillment.. it was huGe, changed the world}

I Do not know if Obama has a part to play in Revelation, however when I saw him mocking the bible on national TV, well my heart was pretty heavy.
