Zech 14:5-9
5...You will flee as your ancestors did when the earthquake struck in the time of King Uzziah of Judah. The Lord my God will come, bringing all the angels with him.

6 When that time comes, there will no longer be cold or frost, 7 nor any darkness. There will always be daylight, even at nighttime. When this will happen is known only to the Lord.

8 When that day comes, fresh water will flow from Jerusalem, half of it to the Dead Sea and the other half to the Mediterranean. It will flow all year long, in the dry season as well as the wet. 9 Then the Lord will be king over all the earth; everyone will worship him as God and know him by the same name.

I find this a very interesting theory.  This researcher claims that Yuya who was buried in the valley of kings is the Biblical Joseph.  He started his research when he saw one verse in the Bible, where Joseph is telling his newly reunited brothers about his relationship to Pharoah.


So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.  Gen 45:8


The researcher claims that 'a father to Pharoah' is a title, and Joseph received this title when Pharoah married Joseph's daughter.   He claims Yuya is not an Egyptian name.  It is a foreign name.  And in the names of foreigners is found the God whom they worship.   In this case, the ya in Yuya relates to the God Yah.

Yuyah is the grandfather of Akhenaton, who is the first Pharoah to worship a monotheistic God.  But, there's more.   This researcher postulates that Akhenaton is Moses.  And, that the famous rod of Moses was actually the rod of Pharoah, identifying himself as a former Pharoah of Egypt which explains why Moses was so easily able to be received into the court of the Pharoah who eventually allowed the Israelites to leave Egypt.

[If Akhenaton was not Moses, he was most certainly related to him if Yuya is Joseph.]

Yuya is, in fact, the Biblical patriarch Joseph. Yuya matches up with the Biblical Joseph in virtually every particular. And the recent DNA study published in the Journal of the AMA 2/17/10 shows that Yuya's genes were represented throughout the Royal Family to the end of the dynasty, making his family, the Israelites, very closely related to the Royal Family during the last four generations of the 18th Dynasty. And his son, Aye was the very last Pharaoh of that dynasty."

That's an interesting theory Molly, but remember that Joseph requested that his mummy/bones be carried up to the new homeland in Canaan, so it's unlikely that Yuya is Joseph.  David Rohl has much to say about Joseph in his book Pharaohs and Kings and even gives photos and diagrams of Joseph's palace, an odd palace for Egypt, as it was a typically Syrian design.  It's like why Rameses the Great can not be the Pharaoh of the Exodus, simply because his mummy rests in a museum, and the Pharaoh of the Exodus was drowned and lost.

IMO, one of the most powerful lyricists of my generation.  He lived a sad, hard life.  "Crucified" by the "church".  Still much to minister to us, though absent from the body, at home with the Lord.

Have you ever heard someone say, 'I wish people would WAKE UP!"

Well, youtube has put together a collage of people saying they are awake.  Oddly enough, the movie has a somewhat silly start and I immediately fell asleep.  I slept through the whole movie.  I dreamt the whole time, too.  I dreamt I was in the street with a large group of people and we were all watching the movie together.  I was in the front row so they had me run the movie camera.  And, pretty soon, we were also each giving our own testimony.  It was wonderful being together with such a large group of awake people.  So, I don't know if you can make it through this movie awake, but it's great to watch in your sleep!

Emergency school drill has students scared for their lives
Parents are angry; school district defends drill

EL PASO, Texas —

The Socorro Independent School District stands behind its decision to simulate an act of terrorism without warning teachers, parents or students.

At 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, the students and teachers at Eastlake High School were told to vacate the hallways and lock down in their classrooms. According to students and parents, gunshots and screams were heard. The SWAT team was seen entering the school.

Stephanie Belcher has a 15-year-old son enrolled in Eastlake. She said she got a text message from her son that scared her.

"He said, 'I'm not kidding. There's gunshots and people screaming and we were locked in a storage closet,'" Belcher said.

SISD's Assistant Superintendent, Pat O'Neill, said the fact that only the principal of the school was warned was a necessary part of the plan.

"It's an active shooter drill," O'Neill said. "We do this every now and then. If you warn too many people then the simulation is not effective."

"These kids thought that their classmates were being killed and that they could be next," Belcher said. "There's no excuse for that."

"I'd rather them be upset with us now instead of something happening and we're not prepared," O'Neill said. "Then people are going to ask questions like, "Why weren't you prepared?'"

"I went to school in California and I don't remember them shaking the building when we had an earthquake drill," Belcher said.

Eastlake freshman Rudy Soto said the drill was too realistic.

"It was pretty scary," Soto said. "Even the teachers got scared."

Soto said he almost experienced a full-blown asthma attack when he heard the gunshots.

O'Neill said the drill was kept away from kids with special needs. He also said that next time the district will try and do a better job of informing parents.
