I'm aware it's just a painting and Da Vinci was not an apostle.
Maybe the only reason he painted it that way because it looks nice. Maybe he was inspired.

The point is that it is a 616 configuration just like the Hebrew s had with their Metatron. No idea were they got that info.
But when I see a pattern I get curious is it is nothing more that a coincidence or something deeper is going on.

added makes 13 which can stand for rebellion or depravity :sigh:

I think he did mean to send a message.  It's an occult painting.  You've read the Da Vinci Code?  That person to  Jesus' right is a woman. :icon_joker:

BTW that book has all kinds of errors in it. :mblush:

How do you know these beasts who cry are men?

On a natural level beasts do cry? I have seen tears and heard my dogs cry a number of times, also sheep and cattle.

But on a spiritual level it could apply to men because somewhere in scripture I think it says that men are like beasts, but not are beasts.

consider this scripture

Daniel 4:16
Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.

Here we have the king of babylon who is a type a shadow of antichrist Global ruler, if you don;t believe that, then surely you see at least that he is spiritually an antichrist. But God says he has a heart of man, but then is given a heart of a beast.

But back to on a spiritual level
The old testament has many of these sayings concerning beasts, dragons owls, satyrs etc, and I think it applies to beastly angels, because I have found a very interesting scripture. I remember saying to wings about a month ago about a spiritual mystery concerning the serpent being cursed above all cattle.

I was just thinking about that today and wondering why He would say that--what do you think it means?

One big problem I have with calling men 'beasts' is that I know the evil men that plot genocide and war think of the people they are going to kill like that---just so many cattle, 'useless eaters.'  They fail to see the spark of divinity in all men, or as Jesus says, if you do it to the least of my brethren, you do it to me.

The percent by mass of carbon in the human body is 18%  Very weird.

----Since you asked I will tell you what I found
Isiah 34
2For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

3Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

4And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

5For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

6The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

7And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
8For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
9And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

Ok first notice that God declares war against the heavens. We know from scripture that there is a place in heaven where the devil and his angels have their abode. In rev 12 we see the devil and his angels being cast down to the earth by Gods armies.

In this passage of Isiah we see that God describes these other angels of the devil, as unicorns, bullocks and bulls.

Now in Genesis we see that God said to the serpent, that you are cursed above all cattle. Now if we take this to mean that cattle are in fact a branch of rebellious angels, perhaps the most brutish, since cattle are known for their bad temper, their temper can be so bad they can kill a lion, and you have probably seen those wild cattle cowboy shows, doing the bull ride.

So God says to the serpent who is more subtle that any other beast that God has made and makes him cursed above all cattle. I don't know the exact meaning of this, but I reason the following.

That it means that he is the one that God has placed one of the biggest responsibility of mankinds fall, coupled with Adam and Eve, since God curses the serpent, then Eve and Adam, as they all took part in an act of rebellion against God.

So since God calls the serpent subtle and also calls angels cattle (unless you think literal cattle live in heaven), which are beasts, brutish, then it seems to be that these angels already rebelled before Adam and Eve and were already cursed by God because the language implies that the cattle were already cursed, but the serpent is cursed above all cattle. I.e If I said Peter is cursed above John, it seems a strange way of saying it. Why not say, Peter is cursed above everyone else. But notice God singles out cattle, as if to hint or say that the cattle were already cursed, but the serpent because you have done this, to Adam and Eve you are now cursed even above those cattle I cursed, He then proceeds to curse Adam and Eve's way of life.
TT

One big problem I have with calling men 'beasts' is that I know the evil men that plot genocide and war think of the people they are going to kill like that---just so many cattle, 'useless eaters.'  They fail to see the spark of divinity in all men, or as Jesus says, if you do it to the least of my brethren, you do it to me.

Yeah I think God is just saying that man has become so evil, that he is similar to an animal, so rather than call men animals he is calling these dictators animals becuase of their hardness of hearts. But God knows the hearts of all men and we all have become astray having a hard heart and the way of the beast, but God helps us to become human again and restore our lost soul.

The most common quoted verse used to compare men to beasts is this one:

18 I said in my heart, "Concerning the condition of the sons of men, God tests them, that they may see that they themselves are like animals."
--Ecc 3

As we see the conclusions Solomon starts to draw from this realization,  at first they sound reasonable:

19 For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity. 20 All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. 21 Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth?

But where does his reasoning end if not in total insanity?  We see this insanity over and over again in the world rulers.  We see it in Nebuchadnezzar and in Solomon himself.

22 So I perceived that nothing is better than that a man should rejoice in his own works, for that is his heritage. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?

a man should rejoice in his own works

Does a beast have works? no  A cow? A pheasant? A snake? no  Do good men have works? yes.  Do evil men have works? yes.

Should we rejoice in our own works, Solomon? And, treat other men as beasts? What did your father say, Solomon?

Psalm 35:9
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD;It shall rejoice in [His salvation] Y'shû‛âh.

2Pe 2:12  But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2Pe 2:13   And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, [as] they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots [they are] and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

the very next verse seems SOLOMON continues in his search

Ecc 4:1  So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of [such as were] oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors [there was] power; but they had no comforter.
Ecc 4:2   Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive.

Ecc 4:3   Yea, better [is he] than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

Ecc 4:4  Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This [is] also vanity and vexation of spirit.

Ecc 4:5   The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.

Ecc 4:6   Better [is] an handful [with] quietness, than both the hands full [with] travail and vexation of spirit.

Ecc 4:7  Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun.
The beast is the NATURE of man known as the flesh\his carnal MIND- lest we  HAVE BEASTS which cry and praise their god- the latter yet again TT FAILED to answer--  :icon_flower:

Man was created naked.  At first Adam and Eve were not ashamed of their nakedness.  They were covered by Christ in the garden.

25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
--Gen 2

After 'the fall,' they became ashamed and covered themselves with fig leaves [the law?] and accused each other of wrong doing to take the blame off themselves.

7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. --Gen 3

Man was created naked.  He was created to have a covering.  Alive spiritually, his covering is Christ.  Dead spiritually, he tries to cover himself.  When he is kicked out of the garden, God covers him with the skins of beasts.

But, man is not a beast, he's just vulnerable, easily led astray, ...naked.  Any covering put on man that is not Christ will not survive the fire and he will stand before God naked at the last day.

17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

--Rev 3

Great verses, Taffy.

QuotePsa 4:2   O ye sons of men, how long [will ye turn] my glory into shame? [how long] will ye love vanity, [and] seek after leasing[ UNTRUTH]? Selah.

how long will ye turn my glory into shame?

What is his glory?  Why do they love death and seek after lies?  I thought they didn't have any choice because all men are beasts.  What is God's glory?  Was Adam God's glory?

For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
--1Cor 11

I suppose you would say here that it is the woman who needs the covering because she is the soul of man?  But the two are one flesh.  Is it the soul of man that needs covering?  Micah would say we have the same nephesh as the beasts. Yet, are we the glory of God or beasts?

3But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

4Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

5Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

6There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

7Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

8I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Quote from: Taffy-- lest the LORD now is expecting ANIMALs to repent and believe as well just because they are Living souls---

So, then, there is a qualitative difference between the man and the beast?  For which cause man was not given dominion over other men [whom he might consider beasts unlike himself] but over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. [Gen 1]
