Title: Carbon - The number of the beast
Post by: WhiteWings on April 22, 2011, 08:08:44 PM
Carbon-12 is one of the main building blocks of our body.
A carbon-12 atom has 6 electrons, 6 protons and 6 neutrons. 666
That makes 666 really the number of man. The number of dust.

The body consists of:
63% hydrogen  --> 1-1-0
25.5% oxygen --> Breath --> 8-8-8 (number of God?)
9.5% carbon --> Dust --> 6-6-6 (number of man)
2% traces of many other elements (including sulfer)

Oxygen+hydrogen=water

is not your HEART your SOUL?THE soul of man being HIS pride= death removed from his kinglt Throne=

Dan 5:20   But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
Dan 5:21   And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling [was] with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and [that] he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.

In ancient books of Judaism Metatron is the highest of angels and mediator between God and men.
The symbol of Metatron was
(http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b386/ThetaGnome46/METATRONS-CUBE-Converted.png)
Notice the star of David?
Also 1 central circle, 6 outer and 6 inner circles.
6-1-6
Let's say Jesus is Metatron the mediator between man and God.
6 apostles - 1 Jesus - 6 apostles
Does anyone the names of 6 apostles on the left and the 6 on the right?
Any significance in their grouping?

Carbon-7 is 6-1-6
I wonder what that means....

the star of david is two trianlges- one being inverted- for me Christ is the Pinnicle[ foundation ] of our faith-for  one shows the  INVERTED Vision of men , the other the  vision of TRUTH - :icon_flower:

I'm not sure if that is the star of David. There is no source which connects that star to David, it is simply acclaimed to be Davids star. Some say it is the star of the occults.

I think TT reads the verse diffrently. Only 666=the beast.
But the dust (carbon) we (mankind) are made of is 666.

It says a man i.e one man. But whether that means it applies to all men would be presumptious.

Perhaps all men do share the number 666, but if that is the case, why assign that number to only one man. How can we identify a man that shares the same number as all other men. But I realize that this number is a mystery and I am not that keen on attempting to find out what it means before the time, it would be unfruitfull.

But interesting find wings, but I don't understand this part

How does 9.5 % carbon translate to 666 and what does 888 have to do with it or 1-1-0 ?

Is man singular or plural? Number of man is Number of 1 person or the number of humanity. One thing is sure we are build using carbon and that has the number 666. Of course thats;s no proof it has any spiritual value. But still interesting because 666/the beast is sin. Dust/earth is often linked to sin. Or to use Taffy's and Nathan's favourite word "carnal"
Combined with the things below it becomes a lottle more interesting.

But interesting find wings, but I don't understand this part

Every atom is has a certain number of electrons, protons and neutrons
The percentage has nothing to do with the "calculation". It just the percentage of 'material' found in a human body.

Carbon has 6 electrons, 6 protons and 6 neutrons. That's 666
Oxygen has 8 electrons, 8 protons and 8 neutrons. That's 888
Hydrogen 110

Note #1: Hydrogen and Oxygen combined is water.
Note #2: Carbon, Oxygen and hydrogen come in different forms (numbers or electrons, neutrons and proton) but the ones listed above are the one that are found in massive amounts. All other forms are rare.

Man can mean 1 man or Humanity as a whole, but A man or a man means one man.

I saw a man the other day, allways means I saw one man or a particular man.

thanks for the science. So only carbon is 666. Warning acronym ahead. We breath out carbon 666, equivalent to breathing out our old man and breathing in oxygen the new man 888. Although I don't know what the number 888 means in scripture, it probably has some meaning attached to it.

TT, I thought the same thing. I do believe the number of man is 666 but it could apply to everyone or just one man.  What if this man who is the beast was active in 70AD? Maybe this isn't for the future but has already been fulfilled? (Rev. 13:1) "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw A BEAST".  Why doesn't it say "beasts"? Verse 2 describes this beast as being like a leopard.  Verse 11 talks about ANOTHER beast. If these beast are all of mankind, why distinguish one beast from another?

I see these beast as being nations, or rulers that have/had power over other nations.

I'm aware it's just a painting and Da Vinci was not an apostle.
Maybe the only reason he painted it that way because it looks nice. Maybe he was inspired.

The point is that it is a 616 configuration just like the Hebrew s had with their Metatron. No idea were they got that info.
But when I see a pattern I get curious; is it just a coincidence or something deeper going on.

Joe 1:18   How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate

Joe 1:19   O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

Joe 1:20   The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

anyone seen BEASTS crying-- crying -does Crying in scripture always refer to people sobbing the EYES out---and for sure the BEASTS of the field really CRY out for their GOD--anyone seen that? take a Picture-- youll make millions

How do you know these beasts who cry are men?

On a natural level beasts do cry? I have seen tears and heard my dogs cry a number of times, also sheep and cattle.

But on a spiritual level it could apply to men because somewhere in scripture I think it says that men are like beasts, but not are beasts.

consider this scripture

Daniel 4:16
Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.

Here we have the king of babylon who is a type a shadow of antichrist Global ruler, if you don;t believe that, then surely you see at least that he is spiritually an antichrist. But God says he has a heart of man, but then is given a heart of a beast.

But back to on a spiritual level
The old testament has many of these sayings concerning beasts, dragons owls, satyrs etc, and I think it applies to beastly angels, because I have found a very interesting scripture. I remember saying to wings about a month ago about a spiritual mystery concerning the serpent being cursed above all cattle.

One big problem I have with calling men 'beasts' is that I know the evil men that plot genocide and war think of the people they are going to kill like that---just so many cattle, 'useless eaters.'  They fail to see the spark of divinity in all men, or as Jesus says, if you do it to the least of my brethren, you do it to me.

----Since you asked I will tell you what I found
Isiah 34
2For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

3Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

4And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

5For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

6The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

7And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
8For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
9And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

Ok first notice that God declares war against the heavens. We know from scripture that there is a place in heaven where the devil and his angels have their abode. In rev 12 we see the devil and his angels being cast down to the earth by Gods armies.

In this passage of Isiah we see that God describes these other angels of the devil, as unicorns, bullocks and bulls.

Now in Genesis we see that God said to the serpent, that you are cursed above all cattle. Now if we take this to mean that cattle are in fact a branch of rebellious angels, perhaps the most brutish, since cattle are known for their bad temper, their temper can be so bad they can kill a lion, and you have probably seen those wild cattle cowboy shows, doing the bull ride.

So God says to the serpent who is more subtle that any other beast that God has made and makes him cursed above all cattle. I don't know the exact meaning of this, but I reason the following.

That it means that he is the one that God has placed one of the biggest responsibility of mankinds fall, coupled with Adam and Eve, since God curses the serpent, then Eve and Adam, as they all took part in an act of rebellion against God.

So since God calls the serpent subtle and also calls angels cattle (unless you think literal cattle live in heaven), which are beasts, brutish, then it seems to be that these angels already rebelled before Adam and Eve and were already cursed by God because the language implies that the cattle were already cursed, but the serpent is cursed above all cattle. I.e If I said Peter is cursed above John, it seems a strange way of saying it. Why not say, Peter is cursed above everyone else. But notice God singles out cattle, as if to hint or say that the cattle were already cursed, but the serpent because you have done this, to Adam and Eve you are now cursed even above those cattle I cursed, He then proceeds to curse Adam and Eve's way of life.
TT

One big problem I have with calling men 'beasts' is that I know the evil men that plot genocide and war think of the people they are going to kill like that---just so many cattle, 'useless eaters.'  They fail to see the spark of divinity in all men, or as Jesus says, if you do it to the least of my brethren, you do it to me.

Yeah I think God is just saying that man has become so evil, that he is similar to an animal, so rather than call men animals he is calling these dictators animals becuase of their hardness of hearts. But God knows the hearts of all men and we all have become astray having a hard heart and the way of the beast, but God helps us to become human again and restore our lost soul.

But when I see a pattern I get curious is it is nothing more that a coincidence or something deeper is going on.
I think he did mean to send a message.  It's an occult painting.  You've read the Da Vinci Code?  That person to  Jesus' right is a woman. :icon_joker:

BTW that book has all kinds of errors in it. :mblush:
I see at least 2 peopple that look like  a woman. The Da Vinci code was written by Dan Brown

Bit more on topic please. Can one of the mods split off this thread? (I think TTs post #15 is a good starting point for the new thread)

The most common quoted verse used to compare men to beasts is this one:

18 I said in my heart, "Concerning the condition of the sons of men, God tests them, that they may see that they themselves are like animals."
--Ecc 3

As we see the conclusions Solomon starts to draw from this realization,  at first they sound reasonable:

19 For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity. 20 All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust. 21 Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, which goes down to the earth?

But where does his reasoning end if not in total insanity?  We see this insanity over and over again in the world rulers.  We see it in Nebuchadnezzar and in Solomon himself.

22 So I perceived that nothing is better than that a man should rejoice in his own works, for that is his heritage. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?

a man should rejoice in his own works

Does a beast have works? no  A cow? A pheasant? A snake? no  Do good men have works? yes.  Do evil men have works? yes.

Should we rejoice in our own works, Solomon? And, treat other men as beasts? What did your father say, Solomon?

Psalm 35:9
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD;It shall rejoice in [His salvation] Y'shû‛âh.

2Pe 2:12  But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

Ecc 4:1  So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of [such as were] oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors [there was] power; but they had no comforter.
Ecc 4:2   Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive.

Ecc 4:3   Yea, better [is he] than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.

Ecc 4:4  Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This [is] also vanity and vexation of spirit.

Ecc 4:5   The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.

Ecc 4:7  Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun.

Man was created naked.  At first Adam and Eve were not ashamed of their nakedness.  They were covered by Christ in the garden.

25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
--Gen 2

After 'the fall,' they became ashamed and covered themselves with fig leaves [the law?] and accused each other of wrong doing to take the blame off themselves.

7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. --Gen 3

Man was created naked.  He was created to have a covering.  Alive spiritually, his covering is Christ.  Dead spiritually, he tries to cover himself.  When he is kicked out of the garden, God covers him with the skins of beasts.

But, man is not a beast, he's just vulnerable, easily led astray, ...naked.  Any covering put on man that is not Christ will not survive the fire and he will stand before God naked at the last day.

17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Great verses, Taffy.

QuotePsa 4:2   O ye sons of men, how long [will ye turn] my glory into shame? [how long] will ye love vanity, [and] seek after leasing[ UNTRUTH]? Selah.

how long will ye turn my glory into shame?

What is his glory?  Why do they love death and seek after lies?  I thought they didn't have any choice because all men are beasts.  What is God's glory?  Was Adam God's glory?

For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
--1Cor 11

I suppose you would say here that it is the woman who needs the covering because she is the soul of man?  But the two are one flesh.  Is it the soul of man that needs covering?  Micah would say we have the same nephesh as the beasts. Yet, are we the glory of God or beasts?

3But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

4Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

5Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

6There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

7Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

8I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

So, then, there is a qualitative difference between the man and the beast?  For which cause man was not given dominion over other men [whom he might consider beasts unlike himself] but over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. CO2 is a waste product of burning. All you eat and drink basicly turns back to it's base form carbon and oxygen.

All twelve apostles have different reactions to the news, with various degrees of anger and shock. The apostles are identified from a manuscript (http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/5000) (The Notebooks of Leonardo Da Vinci p. 232) with their names found in the 19th century. (Before this, only Judas, Peter, John and Jesus were positively identified.) From left to right:

How I overlook that   :sigh:
Ten days ago I wrote

Josephus Aaronic Priest (of the first rank) wrote the whole word of God was in 22 books.
Jubilees is a commentary of the dead sea scroll sect.
22 is a special number:
- 22 letter in the Hebrew alphabet
- 22 books in OT
- God created 22 things in 6 days. Adam was the 22nd creation.
- 22 Generations from Adam to Jacob/Israel. That's 22 generations to a spiritual creation.

22 is completion.
Will we only be complete after being "burned up" ?

Carbon Dioxide is the part of the life cycle...a circle if you will.  Carbon Dioxide is used by plants in photosythesis...which plants ultimately produce oxygen.  According to the article I listed...the number 22 represents a circle.  Carbon dioxide is our waste...an end product of our life sustaining metabolism.  This is used by plants and their end product is oxygen.  That is a circle if I have ever seen one.  :)

Math is the only universal language.  Would there be a better or more universal way to communicate with all of humanity, other than direct revelation to the heart by the Holy Spirit?

QuoteMath is the only universal language.  Would there be a better or more universal way to communicate with all of humanity, other than direct revelation to the heart by the Holy Spirit?
:icon_flower:

so Einstien was RIGHT that this universe was by divine creation NOT by no mre chance-  :icon_flower:

Parables are wheels within WHEELS---the CICULAR  BOWLS of light in the Temple filled with OIL is the LORD by the LIGHT we WORK---Christ CIRCLED :icon_flower: the SEA OF GALILIEE  during HIS ministry ,WHICH IS ALSO called the sea of the harp-- take a Look at the shape-- mere Chance----  :icon_flower:

for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
The Harp is a symbol of Light and revelation[ REVELATION being continual] making known the mysteries[ parables]-TO PROPHESY giving edification [ building in love, exhortation comfort and the Voice of praise to them That believe -its the LORD which unlocks the veil of every soul - all is HIS WORK

Its said that Davids Harp had Twenty 22 Strings, each string a representation of the Letters of the Hewbrew Alphet - , ALL refer to YHWH= LOVE being the LIGHT of the WORLD - 22 is the Number of Light in the scriptures- on the Candlestick In the Temple= the LIGHT of the OIL which had to be kept LIT 24\7by the priests lest they were unable to""WORK"""
Exd 25:33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, [with] a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, [with] a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
Exd 25:34 And in the candlestick [shall be] four bowls made like unto almonds, [with] their knops and their flowers. =22

Psa 49:4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark[ RIDDLE] saying upon the harp.
HES the LIGHT which reveals the Hidden Mystries [ parables] hidden from the carnal MIND, its why the LORD spoke in PUBLIC only In Parables- for they were only to be Understood by those Given to understand[ as were the disciples, after HE explained them]
therefore the HARP prophesys , Making known to those who Believe the greater Mysteries- also a symbol of edification[ building up in LOVE, exhortation COMFORT and PRAISE

when david Played His Harp for saul he was Comforted , THE EVIL SPIRIT LEAVING him
1Sa 16:23 And it came to pass, when the [evil] spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

again to prophesy is for those who belive consider

this why PRoPHESY IS OF no private interpretation- AS ALL COMES FROM THE LORD by those who reveal to THOSE WHO ARE BLESSED WITH ears and eyes receive from the LORD

Einstein has been attributed to "believing in God" but he clarified his position later.  As with most scientists, since they can't measure or study God, it's a hard stance for them to take.

Being at least in part, scientifically minded I always seen science and God as congruent...science the study of God's creation.  And on that level, I would still hold that position.  But, the scientific mind is the natural mind...and can only see natural things.  Only objects, elements, atoms it can touch, measure and evaluate.  It's this mind set that is the exact opposite of the spiritual mind set.  So for me, it has been a long road being able to train my mind to think scientifically in my day to day activities at work, yet embrace a spiritual mind which is the exact opposite.  It doesn't shock me in the slightest that most scientists never find the balance...and disregard one for the other.

Yes, but in these modern times, science is moving rapidly, coupled with the increasing level of technology, science is peering more into the unknown, by looking at matter on a quantum and energetic level. This type of science is not welcomed much in tradditional science, but I don't blame them. To learn something that takes an entire lifetime and accept as fact, only to have to unlearn what has been learned, because much of the theories and findings in quantum physics goes against typical expected behaviour of tradditional physics. But sooner or later the tradditions must make way to the new way of doing things.

Yes that's why he said AS beasts.

There is a difference between man Is a beast and Man counted AS a beast.

If a man killed people in cold blood, people might say he is as a beast, they might even call him a beast, but that does not change the fact that he is a man.

Did you read the post about Nebunezzer?

This man who is a world ruler that God makes judgments against, a man that could be considered among one of the worst tyrants in history. God says even he has a heart of a man and has to command angels to give him a heart of a beast.

The word for animals in the greek is zoon, [from which our word zoo derives.]  But the beast in the mark of the beast is not a furry little zoo animal.  The word--therion-- means a dangerous, venomous, wild beast--a monster.  If it is referring to a man, this man will be part human part something else most horrible.

Genesis 9:6
Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Man is a reference to when we were first called man, which is that we are made in Gods image. That is mans nature.

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Man has dominion over the beasts. Man has dominion over demons, see the connection?

# Matthew 12:26
And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

Eve rejected that image though in favour of her own image.

Genesis
5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

I'm not sure how the rest of humaity fits into it. Perhaps as individual spirits in the garden watching Adam and Eve, we decided to rebel also, so God sent us the curse of living in this world .

Or simply that we are Adam and Eves childen born into bondage, so that Christ came to save us.

The symbol of Metatron was

Notice the star of David?
Also 1 central circle, 6 outer and 6 inner circles.
6-1-6
Let's say Jesus is Metatron the mediator between man and God.
6 apostles - 1 Jesus - 6 apostles
Does anyone the names of 6 apostles on the left and the 6 on the right?
Any significance in their grouping?

Carbon-7 is 6-1-6
I wonder what that means....

I don't think christ is a mediator though. Rather he is God, but I do see resurected Christ the seed of Abrham as a mediator between God and man, but I see him as a human being, the second Adam.

So Christ is a God, by procerss he then get born into the seed of Abraham and then becomes a mediator between man and God.

Metatron  from what you have told me seems to be of divine origin, but is under Gods commands.

Argg, you guys are always missing the key words in my replies  :laughing7:

for one is God, one also is mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus (seed of Abraham, the messiah, the sacrifice, the lamb)) and God, the Son of God, he who created all things, the word, reconcilling all things to himself, until he hands it all to the Father.

Metatron= old testament, if he is Jesus, then how can he meditate between God and man, because

1. Jesus is God
2. Metatron is an Old testament writing, even though not found in the cannons, but the messiah, the seed of Abraham, the kinsman redeemer, our brother Jesus Christ the lamb of God was not even born yet, to be a mediator. So how can he be a mediator if there is no lamb of God?

So to me Metatron if he exists, is an angel who is a ministering spirit, pleading for mercy on behalf of mankind, no different than a Christian who prays for another person.

I think I didn't I just want to avoid (sadly) forbidden trinity debates. I'll make a statement without further discussing: I believe trinity is a pagan concept that crept in along with the hell doctrine.

TT, for me that verse is very clear Jesus is a mediator. If you see it otherwise plz tell me how I should read that verse or what words are translated wrong.

Quote1. Jesus is God

People can be more things at teh same time TT. You can be a husband, truck driver and a  football supporter all at the same time.
So why can't Jesus be a Son, a mediator and a Lamb at the same time. In fact if Jesus was not a Lamb then He impossibly could have been a mediator. Sin can only be forgiven by spilling of blood. Not by wise teachings and great attitude.

QuoteSo to me Metatron if he exists, is an angel who is a ministering spirit, pleading for mercy on behalf of mankind, no different than a Christian who prays for another person.
Maybe Metatron is a fable. Maybe Christian know Metatron by a different name (not being Jesus). Dunno. It's just that Metatrons number 616 seems to pop up here and there. Fantasy? Fact? That's what I'm trying to figure out.

I think this is an interesting article: http://www.triumphpro.com/enoch-and-metatron.htm

Metatron (Hebrew מטטרון) or Mattatron (a differentiation of Metatron)[2] is the name of an angel in Judaism and some branches[citation needed] of Christianity. There are no references to him in the Jewish Tanakh or Christian Scriptures (New and Old Testament). Although he is mentioned in a few brief passages in the Talmud, Metatron appears primarily in medieval Jewish mystical texts and other post-scriptural esoteric and occult sources. In Rabbinic tradition, he is the highest of the angels and serves as the celestial scribe,[3] though there is no consensus as to his genesis, nor is there a Christian consensus on his position in the hierarchy of angels or existence.[citation needed]

The Talmud relates that Elisha ben Abuyah (a rabbi and Jewish religious authority born in Jerusalem sometime before 70 BC), also called Acher, (אחר, "other", as he became an apostate), entered Paradise and saw Metatron sitting down (an action that in heaven is permitted only to God himself).

Elishah ben Abuyah therefore looked to Metatron as a deity and said heretically, "There are indeed two powers in heaven!"[4]

In opposition to this apology, Metatron is identified with the term "lesser YHWH", which is the Lesser Tetragrammaton, in a Talmudic version as cited by the Karaite scholar Kirkisani.

The word Metatron is numerically equivalent to El Shaddai (God) in Hebrew gematria;  therefore, he is said to have a "Name like his Master."

The Babylonian Talmud mentions Metatron in two other places: Sanhedrin 38b and Avodah Zarah 3b. Yevamot 16b describes in the Amoraic period the duties of 'prince of the world' being transferred from Michael to Metatron.

While this identification of Metatron with Enoch is not to be found in the Talmud itself, the connection is assumed by some of the earliest kabbalists. There also seem to be two Metatrons, one spelled with six letters (מטטרון), and one spelled with seven (מיטטרון). The former may be the transformed Enoch, Prince of the Countenance within the divine palace; the latter, the Primordial Metatron, an emanation of the "Cause of Causes," specifically the tenth and last emanation, identified with the earthly Divine Presence.[9]

Although I have never heard of Metatron, and know nothing about this figure.--the whole thing gives me the creeps.  I have long thought some Jews [of the kabbalistic variety] worship Satan and other gods behind the scenes, going as far back as the ancient Egyptian captivity[ which pervades the culture even today [note the presence of obelisks all over the world]].

I would want to study this in great detail before I would be willing to say anything more--but I do know this--there is only one name by which men can be saved--and it's not Metatron.

I don't think christ is a mediator though. Rather he is God, but I do see resurected Christ the seed of Abrham as a mediator between God and man, but I see him as a human being, the second Adam.
YLT1Tim 2
5 for one is God, one also is mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus,

QuoteMetatron  from what you have told me seems to be of divine origin, but is under Gods commands.
Read this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metatron) article. Sometimes I think Metatron simply is another name for Jesus. (for exmple the part He sits in Heaven)

QuoteSorry I don't know the order of the disciples.

Argg, you guys are always missing the key words in my replies  :laughing7:
I think I didn't I just want to avoid (sadly) forbidden trinity debates. I'll make a statement without further discussing: I believe trinity is a pagan concept that crept in along with the hell doctrine.

TT
That could be problematic then. But do you know there is 2 versions of it. There is the catholic version which is more pure trinity, since they created it, and then there is the protestant version, which was also badly named the same, to describe three people. It was a bad move I think as it causes all kinds of mixups when discussing this doctrine.

Quotefor one is God, one also is mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus (seed of Abraham, the messiah, the sacrifice, the lamb)) and God, the Son of God, he who created all things, the word, reconcilling all things to himself, until he hands it all to the Father.

Metatron= old testament, if he is Jesus, then how can he meditate between God and man, because
YLT1Tim 2
5 for one is God, one also is mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus,

TT, for me that verse is very clear Jesus is a mediator. If you see it otherwise plz tell me how I should read that verse or what words are translated wrong.

TT
I AM saying that Jesus is a mediator. But look down on your OWN words. You said "sin can only be forgiven by the spilling of blood". The lamb was slain in 33 AD, but metatron is a concept created before that date.

Quote1.

Ok keep researching friend.

Obelisks are fertility symbols. Where are those symbols seen? In about every ancient sun worship religion. I've never seen Jews using those symbols. But I do know that mother of (almost) all Christian denominations has an obelisk.

That's wrong. You are saved by the Son of God. Not by a name. What if Metatron is a different (perhaps very wrong) name for Jesus?

QuoteI have long thought some Jews [of the kabbalistic variety] worship Satan and other gods behind the scenes
Then the star of David is satan worship too?
I've seen one article that claims the number of the beast is not 666 but 616...

LOL.  Make the hair stand up on the back of my neck, why don't you?

Maybe it's a name for a competitor of Jesus.

The obelisk thing--I just mention it because a few years back I started seeing them, and once I saw them, I saw them everywhere.  Yes there is one in the Vatican, in France, England, in washington  and all over New England.  In Eqypt too of course.  What the heck?  What are these obelisks doing everywhere?
The final straw for me was when I visited the gravesite of a less famous President of the US--and there was an obelisk.

Whatever it means, it's important to somebody powerful.

Regarding the name:

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

PS For what it's worth--Everytime I see that name Metatron, my brain changes it into 'metronome.'  I had to go back and edit my post 3 times to get the name right.  You remember that awful instrument from childhood that demanded you keep to its beat?  But we are singing a new song and are meant to vibrate against the archons...against spiritual wickedness in high places.

very funny.  Whistleblower Stanley Kubrick started his movie 2001 with a bunch of apes worshipping around a type of obelisk.  One throws a bone into the air and it becomes the space station.  What was he trying to tell us?

Molly when you visit the obelisk in Washington take your measuring rod. 666 inches at it's base. 6666 inches high.

True.
Ever wondered my the pastor is preaching from a high spot? To catch the first ray of light at a morning mass.

Quiz... What symbol is just as old as the obelisk and was used in the same worship.

Kind of timely and all with Easter being yesterday.  Nimrod= Tammuz=Osiris. Nimrods wife=Ishtar=Easter=Ashera=Isis .  Tammuz means sprout of life

EZE 8:14 Then he brought me to the entrance of the north gate of the Lord's house. I noticed 21  women sitting there weeping for Tammuz. 22  8:15 He said to me, "Do you see this, son of man? You will see even greater abominations than these!"
8:16 Then he brought me to the inner court of the Lord's house. Right there 23  at the entrance to the Lord's temple, between the porch and the altar, 24  were about twenty-five 25  men with their backs to the Lord's temple, 26  facing east – they were worshiping the sun 27  toward the east!

Yep. The rebirth of the sun.

We see that in the imagery of 2001, also.  Ape-man starts out worshipping the monolith/obelisk which appears out of nowhere.  As the sun rises over the [as yet uncapped] pyramid, ape-man learns how to use tools.  Of course his first use of tools is to kill--first the animals [the cow/pig? lol] then each other--more sun rising over the uncapped pyramid, and man-ape has evolved into space flight.  Good thing we were given the monolith/obelisk/pyramid/rising sun to worship or we would still be back on the plains of the serengheti [which looks surprisingly like the surface of the moon], covered with hair, grunting and screeching at each other, and beating each other to death with bones.

The film was made in 1968.  33 years later [now there's a number], we met 2001 for real.

I think lucifer has something to do with sun worship. Lucifer means light bearer and is called the son of the dawn.
son of the morning star could mean a disciple of astrology, or a scholar of the sun and stars. I think this obselix could be a part of this system.

There are threads on thsi forum Lucifer is nothing but a very human king. Let's ignore that for a moment.
TT, do you think Lucifer is part of a trinity? Red gave a correct list of names. Not complete because the key figures in the sun worship religion have many many names. Never seen Lucifer as one of those names. It's about a little family. Father sun god. Mother moon godess and son star god.
Very likely the symbol of islam: the moon and the star is the moon-godess being pregnant with a star-son. So did you every read Lucifer has a wife and child? A child reborn at Easter/Isthar

No I don't see Lucifer as a name of a person. The old testament often prophecies about future people, but doesn't say the name of that person. E.g Jesus was called the Branch and John the baptist, was he that makes way for the lord.

I think Lucifer is a reference to someone who is part of a trinity, but in danger of sidetracking this thread I will keep quiet for now.
