Nathan and Cardinal--

I agree with everything you say, but can't we look forward to a time when the world is run by the Christ--that is, when the government is on his shoulders in a literal sense?   Not just my life and your life but everyone?

What about this?

John 18:36
Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world [kosmos]. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place."

Revelation 11:15
[ The Seventh Trumpet ] The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world [kosmos] has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever."

Nathan

The reason I don't think that is the intent is because my goal is not to enter into a physcial realm . . .I'm already there.  My goal is to enter into the spiritual.  But what the church wants me to believe is the purpose of entering into the spiritual is so that the natural can manifest perfection.

Now . . .having said that . . .

I "do" believe there is a completion in ALL things where the natural "WILL" experience this perfected place once and for all.  BUT in doing so . . the natural realm will return to it's original order of things where the SPIRITUAL realm will be predominant.  Just as it was in the garden.  The earth shouldn't be my focus or emphasis.

It's like this stupid reality show they have now where they have all these models competing against each other thinking that the competition is about their looks when secretly, the competition is about their personalities just as much as their looks.  The viewer gets to know that ahead of time . .but not the participants.

For me, it's the same spiritually.  The emphasis is always on the natural realm. . .but the original intent has always been in the spiritual.  They can't compete with each other because God gave one the authority to "be" over the other.  You can't see the end from the beginning when you're in the flesh . .but you most definitely can when you're in the spirit.

For me, the movement where they "name it and claim it" is a perversion of the original intent as well.  The only way I can "claim" healing, is when my spirit reveals it to my mind to where I can see what is already done in the spiritual realm, then I'm given the power to release and to bind in the natural.  But it all comes by relationship with the Father who reveals all to all, that he is all "in" all.

Faith comes by hearing . . .it's not hearing words, it's hearing sound.  "My sheep will know me by the "sound" of my voice."  We dwell on the words when our emphasis should be more on the "sound" of the voice.  What tramsforms noise into sound is Love.  Which again, is not an emotion, it's a person.   It'd be saying the same thing if you inserted without the lake of fire one is nothing more than a clanging cymbal.  The lake of fire is Love, they are one and the same in that they are the Father.  He is my river, He is my desert.  He is my Day, he is my night.

Trying to logically comprehend that will only lead me to a headache.

BTW I think your idea would not only have to account for Paul knowing the allegory, but also that Paul expected others to have known the alleogry too, before he explained it to them.

QuoteBottom line . . .I "have been' (past tense) seated with him in high places . .it's already a done deal.  I don't have to wait for anymore physical manifestations for anything to be complete in me . .it's already done spiritually.  My physical nature simply goes through the maturity "process" of growing into the awareness of all things already complete.  The earth groans for the manifestation of the sons of God . . .the carnal man craves for physical manifestations of what's already complete in the spirit.  When we walk in the spiritual realm, we will see the spiritual completion in all things.

Nathan, If you are seated with Christ now I guess you don't have anything to look forward to in the future of actually coming into the real seating with Christ?  :dontknow:

This life is probably as good as it will get for you too? The salvation you experience now is it? You can walk now as if alive from among the dead but once you die that's it? No further reality?  :dontknow:
Just because God says He will save all mankind
does not necessarily mean He won't.

Yes, well that's the Adam and Eve problem--the minute their eyes were opened, they became blind.

1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

--Hebrews 11

[things which are] "seen"

G991
βλέπω
blepō
blep'-o
A primary verb; to look at (literally or figuratively): - behold, beware, lie, look (on, to), perceive, regard, see, sight, take heed. Compare G3700.

..were not made of

[things which] "do appear"

G5316
φαίνω
phainō
fah'ee-no
Prolongation for the base of G5457; to lighten (shine), that is, show (transitive or intransitive, literal or figurative): - appear, seem, be seen, shine, X think.

G5457
φῶς
phōs
foce
From an obsoleteφάω phaō (to shine or make manifest, especially by rays; compare G5316 and G5346); luminousness (in the widest application, natural or artificial, abstract or concrete, literal or figurative): - fire, light.

This is why the 'name it and claim it' works.  Words are very important.  Every one of his words is precious and most carefully placed.  And, so should our words be also, because faith has a substance and the worlds are framed by the word of God.

A word is dead
When it is said--
Some say.

I say--
It just
Begins to live
That day.

This piece that Bob has quoted still puzzles me.  You're saying (Tony) that is "must" be literal because the temple Jesus was literally referring to "was" destroyed . . .then you say that Matthew 24 and 25 was not for "that" generation . . . that doesn't make any sense to me.  "If" the temple "was" destroyed THEN . . how can you not see the rest of everything else stated there also happened THEN as well?  When was the Temple then destroyed . .literally?  It was in A.D. 70 was it not?  So why then isn't the rest of what was said also intended for "that" generation "then" as well????

There is NO end to our relationship with Christ.  Whether be it here in the flesh or when all things are restored to the original order . . .the relationship between us and God is infinitive.

Out of that whole book I wrote . .that's the only thing your going to pick at???

there is alot going on in those verses, and there is some that believe in the adjustment of the eons, but be that as it may, the unveiling of Jesus Christ IS WAS and WILL BE:

3 Now at His sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what is the sign of Thy presence and of the conclusion of the eon?"
4 And, answering, Jesus said to them, "Beware that no one should be deceiving you.
5 For many shall be coming in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ!' and shall be deceiving many.
6 Yet you shall be about to be hearing battles, and tidings of battles. See that you are not alarmed, for it must be occurring; but not as yet is the consummation.

Hbr 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing [that is] not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

1 cro 15;23 Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ's in His presence;
24 thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power.
25 For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy is being abolished: death.
27 For He subjects all under His feet. Now whenever He may be saying that all is subject, it is evident that it is outside of Him Who subjects all to Him.
28 Now, whenever all may be subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also shall be subjected to Him Who subjects all to Him, that God may be All in all.)

Rom 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected [the same] in hope,

Rom 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Rom 8:23 And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.

Rom 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it].

Dear Bob,
Just because Paul brought out an allegory concerning the bond woman and free does not mean EVERYTHING is an allegory in Scripture.
Neither the prophets, nor any writer in the new testament presents the things happening in Matt.24,25 as allegorical. No, not even one.

Did Christ die for our sins or should that be taken to mean something alltogether different?
All the Scriptures in the O.T. concerning the coming Messiah (Christ); were they to be taken as allegorical with no real happenning?
Just because God says He will save all mankind
does not necessarily mean He won't.

Dear Nathan, if the literal temple was destroyed, and it was, as Christ said it would be, but Christ did not say that the temple being destroyed would mark the end of the eon. He said the temple would be destroyed before His disciples asked Him what would take place which would mark the end of the eon (Matt.24:3). So it is logical to see that the temple would be destroyed and then Christ tells them what will happen as the eon ends. Get it?
The temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. But 70 A.D. was not the end of the eon.

All the things Jesus said would happen to mark the end of the eon never happened yet.

Why didn't that generation see it? Because it didn't happen, that's why. Was Jerusalem separated into three parts by the great earthquake? Did all the cities of the nations fall? Was the majority of humanity wiped out by plagues and pestilence etc.? If all the threatenings of what is coming on this earth is just one big spiritual illusion then what is mankind to learn from it?

Again, I reiterate, if Christ came back to that generation then the 1000 year kingdom ended around 1070 and the new earth came around then after the earth being destroyed by fire. We are not under grace, therefore, but under the 12 apostles ruling on 12 thrones out of Israel. But I guess that won't really happen either and Christ probably won't really subject all to Himself. It is just one big allegory.

Hey, it's my birthday the 12th. So, like Molly, I'm naming it and claiming it that all of you will see how I see these things. So it must happen.  :laughing7:
Just because God says He will save all mankind
does not necessarily mean He won't.

wow awesome Chuck!  thanks bro  for posting !!

but, once the gospel is preached to the whole world, the end would come.  Those verses quoted by chuckt were while the gospel was being taken to the world.  But we know that during that time, the gospel was preached to the whole world.

and in Matthew we are told when it is, the end will come.

and we know that a few years later, the temple was destroyed; just as predicted in Matthew 24.

so, imo; any continuing unveiling is from a position of completion, not from a completing.

1 cro 15;23 Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ's in His presence;
24 thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power.

My Very Dear ChuckT
Grace and Peace,
May I say something without giving offense?
The "consummation" spoken of in matt.24:6 is not the consummation in 1 Cor.15:24. In 1 Corinthians 15:23,24 there are three orders: order 1. Christ order 2. those who are Christ's 3. the consummation order.

Now then I do believe that when the 3rd order is vivified and God is All in all in 1 Cor.15:28 that the end of the eons has occurred.

The consummation spoken of in Matthew 24 is not the consummation group spoken of in 1 Cor.15. So when all those things occur in Matthew 24 and 25 they do not occur when God is All in all. Get it? Dig it? You hip? Capish?
Just because God says He will save all mankind
does not necessarily mean He won't.

I like that Nate !  there is alot about sound in the Scriptures bro , thanks for the reminder !

Rev 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
What is that sound of many waters?

Do you think it is us, singing a new song?

Psalm 149:1
Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

yes sis , I do believe that and  the signs will follow and speak with new tongues

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Mar 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mar 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Mar 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
 we will do the same
Jesus is the reward  !!
