Did God love Amalek so much that he order their children to be slaughtered?

How often did He slaughter the children? Once? Or does He keep resurrection them and killing them again?
My point is that a you extrapolate punishment that took short while to punishment that lasts forever (ET hell)
IMO it only shows Gods punishments can be harsh.

Psalm 30:5 His anger lasts only a moment. His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may last for the night, but there is a song of joy in the morning.

Well, technically, "forever" (in the modern sense of eternal) would have no beginning as well as no end, so those in "hell" are already in hell and have always been there. Which makes no sense. So it can't be "forever".

I'm seeing this too, Doc. That which has "EVER" existed has ...NO BEGINNING... and ...NO END... and not just ...NO END... because if it had a BEGINNING it has not "EVER" existed like we have not "EVER" existed because we had a Definite BEGINNING. EVER-LASTING is without BEGINNING and without END, FOR-EVER is without BEGINNING and without END and ETERNAL is without BEGINNING and without END but, Believers in EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT don't want to be held to that True Definition of ETERNAL, EVERLASTING AND FOREVER because it would shatter the Falsehood of EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT they've believed. EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT would have NO BEGINNING and NO END and would be EVER-EXISTANT to be True to its meaning yet sinners believed to be condemned to such have not EVER-EXISTED with NO BEGINNING and NO END and so are not even capable of enduring such a Punishment in the First place rendering the thought of it false to begin with.
