Matthew 25:34
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

[from] "the foundation"
G2602
καταβολή
katabolē
kat-ab-ol-ay'
From G2598; a deposition, that is, founding; figuratively conception: - conceive, foundation.

G2598
καταβάλλω
kataballō
kat-ab-al'-lo
From G2596 and G906; to throw down: - cast down, lay.

"of the world"

G2889
κόσμος
kosmos
kos'-mos
Probably from the base of G2865; orderly arrangement, that is, decoration; by implication the world (in a wide or narrow sense, including its inhabitants, literally or figuratively [morally]): - adorning, world.

The kingdom was prepared from the casting down of the cosmos.  When did this happen?  When was the orderly arrangement of God cast down?

23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

--Gen 3

But there is a mystery here--something is hidden, which is known only to initiates.  Where do you hide a thing?  In a place where no one will look?  In a place which looks like the opposite of what is being hidden?  A treasure in a common field.   A pearl in a rough looking hard shelled beast at the bottom of the sea.  The casting down is also a conception.

35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

--Mat 25

For many years, and thats about 38  accepted and believed that man was first a spirit and "lowered."
I have read and studied the works of J.Preston Eby who teaches such, I no longer believe it so.

Amen!! :icon_king:

That is the most logical reason why we are here now. That is why we are currently in the flesh.I see this as being like learning a trade. I remember making a lot of mistakes while learning my job. From those mistakes I now know a bit more about what is eseful, and what is more of a hindrance than a help. I also see what not to do.
I see our life in the flesh as a process of learning the difference between good and evil at such a personal level that we will get to know the right way to do things. The mistakes we make are paid for by Christ IN FULL. ergo- stage one.

Then stage two - In the resurrection we will become a spiritual being like our Father and like the resurrected Christ. Hence Christ is the firstborn of the coming age. We Too will be sons of God because of what Christ did.

The Jews did not like Christ when he said he was the son of GOD because they see that as blasphemy.
All this backs up what is said in Colossians where we are told our kingdom is not of this earth.

It doesn't mean thought that when we were spirits in Genesis, that we were in Christ, but I think we more similar to the angels but less powerful than them, our kingdom was upon the earth, while angels were in heavenly places, and angels did not have christ like we do today. I believe that because of the suffering we have gone through in the natural body, that we will be rewarded with Christ. We already have the holy spirit within us etc. There is no proof that we had the holy spirit, in Genesis preexistence. In fact the holy spirit is a reward because of what christ accomplished on the cross and his walk of victory over sin. So I don't see that believing we had a pre existence, nullifes the glory we will receive, because from what Ive gathered the preexistence was not half as glorious as that which is to come, because now we are in Christ.

Cardinal

:cloud9: But we were one with Him from the foundation of the world. One with, as in the Head and the body are one. The spirit returns to the One who sent it; you can't RETURN to a place you've never been before. My  :2c: Blessings....

With him, companionship with him, just like archange michael has a relationship with him. But they don't have the highest ETERNAL THE MAJESTY of the Holy SPIRT living within them, within their temple.

I think Paul said it pleased him to take the weak and the foolish to be crowned with glory. We also shall judge angels.

We are now thanks to Christ on the same level perhaps even above the angels of God, for we are now one with Christ, adopted sons of God the bride of Christ.

Which of the angels are seated in Christ throne, Are they not ministering spirits sent to minsiter to them who are heirs of salvation

The mariage has yet to take place yet, so how can a bride marry twice? How can we marry Christ in the future, when the bride has madeherself ready, if we already were married form the foundation of the world?

Cardinal

:cloud9: That would be true if the marriage (joining of soul and spirit, female and male, body and Head) were a future one time event. But like salvation, we are saved, we're being saved, we shall be saved. The "last supper" was a Passover Seder, and He revealed the spiritual meaning behind all the "rehearsals" they had been doing for so long.

True communion is partaking of the bread/Word with the wine/Spirit, and He said to do this often in remembrance of, or to re-MEMBER His body (which is SPIRIT), which was broken (into fragments from the foundation of the world) for you (mankind). Like the shewbread, the Word in us is being kneaded, pierced and baked into one loaf, in preparation to feed the nations.

This was shown in the one loaf that rolled down the hill and slew all the Mideonites (wall of partition/middle) in the story of Gideon (name means feller of trees), as well as the 12 baskets of FRAGMENTS that were LIFTED UP, after He fed the multitude. Lifted up, caught up, "raptured"; it's all the same meaning, ie. raised up out of our carnal understanding and into the mind of Christ.

The things that the carnal mind and the carnal mind of others has planted in us, has grown into a "grove" around our true heart, which is Christ. He'll not permit us to worship Him in these groves, they block out the light of Christ destined to shine thru us.

This is being accomplished in us as we are given revelational wisdom, that spiritually speaking, translates us out of the kingdom of darkness (word means ignorance, the ignorance of our carnal mind's understanding) and into the kingdom of light (mind of Christ that illuminates the soul). We are changed/translated from glory (terrestrial/carnal mind) to glory (celestial/mind of Christ). Because we are still in these bodies of dust, we don't perceive the changes, but they are happening in the Spirit.

He betrothed us to Himself, and He is taking us to His Father's house, just like the Jewish men took their bride to their father's house, ie. the place prepared for us. My  :2c: Blessings....

If "we are being saved", then there will be no consumation.  Or at what point do you know that you are "no longer being saved".

Being saved, (future tense);

is, was and "will be" (future tense).

at some point, one would hopefully be "saved".

Cardinal

:cloud9: The word soterious, means salvation or deliverance, and it's an action verb, meaning an ongoing process, not a "complacent" noun. Matthew 13 parable of the wheat and the tares tells us what happens, as does Romans 8, just for two. Christ in us is the HOPE of glory, and Romans 8 says that the glory will be revealed IN US. The Word is personal, written to our souls to receive understanding, that we might come into full union with Him whom our soul loveth, and birth the Son. My  :2c: Blessings....

"revelation"

G602
ἀποκάλυψις
apokalupsis
ap-ok-al'-oop-sis
From G601; disclosure: - appearing, coming, lighten, manifestation, be revealed, revelation.

Hebrews 4:3
... the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

If it's already done then why am I here? I don't want to be here. It appears that we are here to defeat sin, so I don't belive we were complete at the begining, because we did not yet defeat darkness. All creation must defeat darkness and learn to love, to live.

22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

8By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

9By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

10For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

--Heb 11

[a city which hath] "foundations"

G2310
θεμέλιος
themelios
them-el'-ee-os
From a derivative of G5087; something put down, that is, a substruction (of a building, etc.), (literally or figuratively): - foundation.

G5087
τίθημι
tithēmi
tith'-ay-mee
A prolonged form of a primary word θέω theō (which is used only as an alternate in certain tenses); to place (in the widest application, literally and figuratively; properly in a passive or horizontal posture, and thus different from G2476, which properly denotes an upright and active position, while G2749 is properly reflexive and utterly prostrate): - + advise, appoint, bow, commit, conceive, give, X kneel down, lay (aside, down, up), make, ordain, purpose, put, set (forth), settle, sink down.

37They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

38(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

39And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

40God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
