Thank you for the info.  I actually went back and read every post in this thread and so I saw that the address has been posted on here (several years ago), I just wasn't sure if it was still valid or not and didn't want to just blindly send money into the oblivion.  *lol* I will contact the listed email address from the link you posted and try to find out what the current status of the organization is.

I for one totally agree! ya just know what is being said..

and for those tricky things, for seeing just how the words were lined up and all, I love my ISA3 program - which brother Tom turned me on to.. haven't seen him around here for a bit..

It's an interlinear and includes the H or G #'s for Strongs or whatnot.. I have a thick head, when it's needed, an interlinear side by side word for word is what I most need..

Books are better than digital! It may be easier but digital is a direct line to lazy. (my opinion and I know cause it did me)

Way back when...books were in for the same criticism - time was when people memorized large parts of the Bible, and I've read that Druids kept huge amounts of lore by memory alone.  They wrote little or nothing down.

Then, there's the story of some Western travelers who hooked up with a teller-of-tales somewhere in the Tibet area.  He asked them if they'd like to hear the epic of so-and-so local hero, and would they like to hear the short or long version...?  When asked how long it would take for the long version, he replied, "Weeks."  It was all there in his head.

Or, just like the Miao/H'mong people who have handed down the story of Genesis (up to the Tower of Babel) by oral tradition since those days.  They even have the names of Genesis characters in a recognizable form.

The above contact information, I might add, lists the "Christian Bible Society" as an organization that does single family housing construction...which makes me further doubt the validity of it for the purpose of obtaining a CB New Testament.

Upon further research and following some pretty small bread crumbs I came across this webpage: http://www.ntwords.com/author.htm which mentions the CB and claims it was largely translated by a man named Alan Donaldson (the author spoke as if he knew him personally) and was republished in 1995 by Christian Bible Translators, Inc. 

These may or may not be some valuable nuggets of information.  I have so far been unable to obtain any additional information about Alan Donaldson OR Christian Bible Translators, Inc..   :BangHead:

Yeah, I saw that from the previous posts in this thread.  It has been so long NOW, though, that even the Russian dog owner site is apparently out of commission.  That original link leads nowhere.  The main thing I am trying to ascertain is whether the organization (Christian Bible Society) itself even still exists.  If not, then sending money to that address (which is now listed as belonging to a home construction company) seems pretty futile.  Also, later in this same thread it seems like the last few people who reported that they sent money to that address never got a response back or else didn't get a Bible.

googling for downloads of a digital version - 1991 or 1995 - as you probably already know brings up nothing promising.. unless it's buried on search page 47 or something... but I think ,most relevant comes up on 1st page.. so.. :Chinscratch: sure is a pickle.. and a shame..

I had this version bible once, but I didn't care for it.. it used 'hell' and some other things.. at least the one I had, did.. http://qbible.com/aramaic-new-testament/ (Pe$hitta Aramaic , haha, it changed Pe$hitta to Pecrapta)

I have a "Bible Hub" app on my phone which I actually like better than any other I use online.. The Strong's concordances I have, very large books, I'm not all that crazy about.. The online versions seem to have depth and list the Strong's but also Thayer.. etc, etc..

But the Bible Hub app, is my favorite.. works simply.. is interlinear with the Greek and Hebrew numbers with the links to the concordant meanings/renderings.

I use this a lot - http://qbible.com/ylt-youngs-literal-translation-1898/ - compliments of brother WhiteWings.. When looking up a verse, there's a "strongs" tab which has the interlinear with links to the Greek and Hebrew words..

All great "helps" to go along with context, cross references, and the Holy Spirit's giving light.. Or that is, helps when context, cross-references and the Holy Spirit's giving light doesn't seem to answer all questions.. or doesn't seem to nail it down.
