I'm especially interested in Dora von Assen's "GOD'S UNFAILING LOVE REVEALED IN THE CROSS". She claims God took her out in Spirit and showed her the entire God's Plan of Ages. No, not "just another trance/mystical experience"... afterwards, this woman asked God for scriptural support for the vision. The prayer was answered. God inspired van Assen to draw a chart based on the vision and showed her everything she saw corresponds with the Word. :mshock:
Just printed out the book and the chart of the vision. Going to study the chart and the verses carefully for myself. Comments later!
In my opinion, there are 4 possible explanations on the origin of this material:
1) someone made it up to amuse herself
2) it's just hallucinations of an unstable mind
3) it's of the Adversary who doesn't want us to believe in the unpleasant "truth" of an Endless Hell
4) it's truly of God Himself.

First, it's good to see you are still open to UR. I will read that link here shortly. But a couple thoughts...
1) someone made it up to amuse herself...(doubt it who makes up stuff like this to amuse themselves. I would believe something much more devious rather than boredom.)
2) it's just hallucinations of an unstable mind...(possible. I am always skeptical of "visions" of those I have never met)
3) it's of the Adversary who doesn't want us to believe in the unpleasant "truth" of an Endless Hell (This I can't buy. I would think that the adversary would enjoy torturing us with the notion of eternal fire.) (UR belief brings freedom...I acknowledge this and at this time I don't believe in UR).
4) it's truly of God Himself. (quite possible)
I don't see the author dora von assen.
She's under 'von'. I've just started reading it, but it is really very powerful so far. Here's an excerpt (credit Dora von Assen).
In the beginning of this account we want to impress upon all the importance of worship – true praise and adoration. God had made it known to our assembly that he desired worship. He can make and send forth a missionary or preacher any time he desires - but he is searching for worshippers, "For He SEEKETH SUCH to worship Him" – John. 4:23
In obedience to this command, four of us were gathering daily under a juniper tree in the Mojave Desert near Lancaster, CA over twenty-five years ago, to SEEK GOD in the spirit of true worship. Though I had been a minister of the gospel for several years, I still had so many unanswered problems and questions concerning God's plan of salvation. Though my hands were lifted heavenward in praise and my lips were saying "hallelujah," my mind was filled with these many disturbing thoughts.
These questions in my mind had first begun to prick me when my husband, a confirmed atheist, was so marvelously converted while lying on his deathbed cursing God! Suddenly, he began to cry in agony of soul, tears gushing out of his eyes like a fountain, his body rolling from side to side in bed. When at last he could speak, he said, "God spoke to me." Then, he added, "I did not want to pray; God made me pray!" Sitting up, he placed his hand on his side saying, "God reached down His hand, touching my side. I'm healed! I'm going to get up."
While I stood in dumb-founded amazement, he dressed, went outside, and began hoeing weeds in the garden. Suddenly he again began to shout at the top of his voice, as he ran around the house, in an incoherent fashion. Then, rushing into me he threw his arms around me saying so sweetly, "Oh, Mama, I'm saved! Aren't you glad I'm saved?" Later that day as God led him to pray (exposed to the neighborhood right on our porch) he was filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and prophesying to the neighbors who, out of curiosity, had gathered in our home to see what was taking place.
While hoeing in the garden he had such a tremendous experience of seeing Jesus standing before him in light form and then, entering into him, overwhelming him completely within and without. Later, after things quieted down, I saw him gazing in a mirror in order to see if he could see Jesus reflected in his own face – (2 Cor. 3:18).
In my own self-righteousness, I, whom had thought I was so far ahead of the unbelieving world (holding out very little hope for them), saw my own unbelieving husband saved, healed, filled with the Spirit, and receive the revelation of the indwelling Christ by the sovereign power of God. Within in a matter of minutes my suppositions that one must repent, believe, pray through, endure, and prove their self to be faithful before experiencing salvation had been disproved. My mind began to be filled with doubts and questions. Could I be mistaken? Had I falsely presented the gospel, basing salvation on works instead of the grace of God? In one day God had reached out to my husband, who I thought was so far behind spiritually, and placed him ahead of me in spiritual knowledge and experience of our Lord and Savior. Oh glory! I have had to move at a rapid, rapid pace since that time in order to keep abreast of the move of God.
A few days later I heard my husband praying for his deceased father. Surely he should not be praying for his father who also was an atheist. According to my teaching, his destiny was sealed. Therefore, I had supposed that there was no hope for his soul. However, I was afraid to stop him as he was under such an intense burden of prayer. I began praying that God would lift the burden by blotting out the memory of his father. Is this not what we are taught? That in heaven God will remove the memory of our unsaved loved ones from our minds? Otherwise, how would we ever be happy in heaven thinking of our father, mother, brother, sister or one of our dear children suffering in the torment of hell forever?
After a while my husband came in the house, his face shining with the radiance of God. He said, "I've been praying for my father." I interrupted, "Oh, honey, don't you know that you cannot pray for anyone after they are dead?" He replied, "I had to pray for my father; I could not bear to think that he was lost. I had to tell God how honest my father was, and how good he was to everyone, and oh, how much I loved him! And God answered me too!" In amazed unbelief I asked, "He did? What did He say?" And my husband, looking at me in calm assurance replied, "God said, 'MY LOVE IS GREATER THAN YOUR LOVE!' and if God's love is greater than my love, I know my father is in good hands!" From that hour he never worried about the welfare of his father anymore. How this shook me! Could there possibly be hope for the unsaved after death?

There could yet be something in it that's of concern, but so far, this is some of the best material I've read recently, apart from the Bible. DISCLAIMER; Like Shawn, I am very careful with what I take in as the truth. I believe there are many deceivers and that we ALL can think we're hearing from the Lord, while it's possible our own imagination is at work.
Her account so far keeps me captured with this; ""...I was a stickler for the Word...O Lord, you will have to show me the meaning of this vision in your word. Otherwise, I will just have to put it out of my mind." Slowly, opening my Bible at random my eyes fell upon Ephesians 1:9-12:

Dora Van Assen, regarding her vision; "See the blood line (grace) coming out of eternity, encompassing and holding all the eons together in one united whole. Nothing can fly out of divine love or be lost. He is the Alpha and Omega. Nothing can be or get outside of Him. Even the evil line (death) is swallowed up in life, super-abounded and framed by grace – Rom. 11:36; Heb. 11:3; 1 Cor. 15:22-26; Col. 1:17; Rom. 5:20.
Redemption was in the heart of God before creation. Therefore, creation cannot fall beyond redemption, as it is the very basis of creation. All evil, sin, and death have an end, but grace given to us before the world (Eonian Times) began in Christ Jesus comes out of God's heart reaching all men and then returns carrying all with it back into the heart of God. This is God's law of circularity – Rev. 13:8; 2 Tim. 1:9; Ecc.1:7."
The Bible is God's revelation of His plan for all mankind during these eons. Isa. 57:15 is the only place where eternity is truly mentioned, referring to God.
Paul was caught up to the Third Heaven not as layer cake, but ahead in time to the New Heaven and Earth. He was given a revelation of the Eons. His vision goes beyond that of John on the Isle of Patmos, as John saw only things connected with TIME. But Paul was given a glimpse of Eternity when all times will have finished their purpose and "God is ALL IN ALL." "God, everything in everyone." – Dutch translation of 1 Cor. 15:20-28.
Eight large eons have been depicted in this chart. Eight is the number of a New Beginning or New Creation. It is Jesus' number as he was raised on the FIRST DAY of the week (after Passover), or the EIGHTH DAY (if you start with the first day of the previous week during Passover). This is the anti-type of the wave-sheaf and wave-loaves waved before the Lord on the first day of the week (during Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread) – Lev. 23:11. It is the EIGHTH EON through the process of the NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH that all things are consummated and made new – Rev. 21:5.
The church (which is His body) is going through correction and discipline right now. Judgment begins at the house of God. All must go through the second death, which is a dying to self to attain unto rulership in the coming Kingdom. This process is seen by the five orders in the church circle in the present evil age, which are tares, chaff, 30 fold, 60 fold, and 100 fold. The tares (carnal thoughts injected by Satan) and the chaff (sinful flesh nature) will be burned with the unquenchable Holy Ghost fire – Lk. 12:49; Matt. 3:11. The 30 fold (nominal Christians) and the 60 fold (bride company) go through further correction unto maturity in the oncoming eon, but the 100 fold (groom company; sonship company; overcomers) are fully clothed with Christ within and without and lifted up in Him into a higher realm, as seen by the very small circle above the present evil age. The overcomers of this church age are but a firstfruit and not the whole harvest. The full harvest will come during the Eons – Jam. 1:8; Eph. 2:7; Acts 15:14-19. - Dora Van Assen
God's seconds are always better than His firsts: first and second birth, old and new creation, first and second Adam, old and new covenant, etc. These seconds engulf the firsts. Following this type, why cannot we believe that the second death will also cancel out the first death? Especially, as we read "The last enemy to be destroyed is death!" – 1 Cor. 15:26. How does God destroy death? By making all alive! "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ (Second Adam) shall all be made alive" – 1 Cor. 15:22. - Dora Van Assen

I write this with tears in my eye - IMO, this revelation can be nothing but the Holy Spirit at work. For He alone is worthy. Praise you Jesus, praise You Father.
"In the year of Jubilee (in the Old Testament) every man was set free. His kinsman could redeem him ahead of time (before Jubilee) when he paid the price. If a man could not pay the price, he was set free in the year of Jubilee, anyway. This was God's law (Lev. 25:13) and typifies God's greater law of the Eons. As our elder kinsman brother, He redeems us now by His grace to be a first fruit witness to all creation through the coming eons – each man coming forth in his own order. When the eons have finished their course, the whole creation will be set free in God's greater Jubilee. Jesus paid the ransom for all. He subdues all things unto Himself – 1 Tim. 2:6; Phil. 3:21.
This was my vision given by the Spirit while under the power of God. THE RAYS OF THE CROSS went out to every Eon and Dispensation. The top of the cross went to the highest heavens, the cross bars spanning the universe, the base descending to the deepest hell; the whole universe feeling its impact and glory, taking away the sin of the world. This expression of God's influence, power, and love will continue to shine out of His own heart until all come under His sway: saved, purified, changed and drawn back into Himself – Rom. 11:36. It's good to see that you really try to discern truth. Sometimes I believe it's very easy to be drawn to teachings of our own fantasy. With that said, I printed up her writing and chart. I have read about half of it and all of this thread. I have done so with tears in my eyes. If this is indeed the plan of God I can't think of anything more beautiful and more in line with God who loves agape. When I have quiet time tonight I will finish. I am looking foward to the further read.
Praise God. It's beautiful and does exactly what the Word says when something is from God - it points to our Savior - giving Him the honor and glory.
I prayed in my heart after reading this, for God to help me "let them know". I've missed Him before. But if I heard Him, He impressed upon me, it's what I'm doing now, sharing as I go, and "they won't all know now". Which fits with everything some have been being taught and Mrs. Van Assen is saying - God will pick and process the ecclesia now, predestined, who will help bring the others in, because He loves us all - still some now, the rest later - in His Providence (..for it's by grace are we saved).
A few years before God showed me UR, I was praying for my agnostic brother to be saved. Again, I felt God impress upon my heart, "he will be saved, but not as you expect". I didn't know at the time what that meant. Praise be to God for His perfect Plan of the Ages.

It's a good question, and I'm no expert on eons. I'll share some thoughts, some of my limited understanding.
There are some different understandings of the eons, I really like how the author/Author :bigGrin: explains it in this revelation. Some new insight there for me, especially the ages within the eons. I really need to look at it some more. (Side note - driving this morning, I had a "burden" to seek God to be able to see, for Him to give me "[better] vision". I will continue to do that, but being led to the description of this vision today is likely no accident :2c:).
Anyway, some thoughts as I understand right now;
As Molly said earlier, and I'd never quite thought of it that way - we will all be immortal, once raised/resurrected. The author stated only God is spoken of as being eternal, in the Isaiah reference. That was s/w new to me. I've also seen that aion/olam/eon is used elsewhere to describe time periods, whereas aidios is used for God - truly eternal. I need more revelation into all that.
Eons not only speak of time "limits", but of a quality, i.e., "having to do with an eon or eons".
Different things are happening in the eons, to all the immortals - both to various groups of believers, as well as unbelievers. Processing, refining, "some few stripes, some many stripes" (spiritual/figurative). The believer being refined, the unbeliever being brought to repentance and then into discipline and growth (we will rule and reign - this is a loving and helping thing, I believe). Also, there's the thought that not all are alive for all the eons. Each in his own order, his God-appointed time.
The eons continue up until the consummation, when all things are put under Jesus' feet, all are reconciled, death is abolished, and then God becomes All in All. Some might then consider that "eternity". Many understand it as the consummation, the summing up of all things in Christ.
I'll think on this and maybe be able to share some more later. In the meantime, there are others who have a better grasp of it than do I, who will hopefully share their understandings.
Shawn, the simplest way I can see it is like this.
Eon = Abstract measurement of a lengthy amount of time.
You could think of Eon as synonymous (atleast for example) to "Long".
(Aionian) punishment for the wicked, (aionian) life for the saints.
(Long) punishment for the wicked, (long) life for the saints.
Long doesn't mean eternity, forever, endlessness for the wicked, but it doesn't mean "approx five hundred, or a billion, or trillion years" for the saints either.
Long could mean "forever more" (from the point of salvation to endlessness into deathless infinity), for the saints. This is valid, and goes with God's purpose, plan, and character. Because death will cease in all of its forms, hence a deathless universe would have deathless time; unending eons, unending eons = a very "long" time.
Long could mean a thousand years for the wicked. Its pretty long, but no where in the Bible does it mention God's punishments being ceaseless...not that I've seen anyway, aside from the "everlasting" argument, which has since then been tossed away as error due to the way we have begun to define for 'ever' and 'ever'lasting.
In the Septuagint the Greek word, aion, is used to translate the Hebrew word olam. Thus, if we want to get a sense of the N.T. meaning of aion, we need to understand the meaning of olam in the O.T. Numerous passages referring to olam show clearly it cannot mean "never-ending" in those texts. Note these few:
Eon is also used for the lifetime of a person.
A slave serves his master forever [olam]. But only until death ends his servitude (Ex. 21:6).
Or 3 days
Jonah was in the fish forever [olam]. But only until he left three days later (Jon. 1:17; 2:6).

My thought is that the saints in Mat 25:46 do
not have eternal life.
They are alive in the period when the sinners are in LoF.
After that both saint and former sinner "continue with eternity"
So:
Saints = limited life + directly followed by eternity.
Sinner = limited punishment + directly followed by eternity.
Or
Saints = Mat 25:46 is just about a part of their eternal life.
Sinners = Mat 25:46 is just about a part of their eternal life.

Those links were certainly helpful. It doesn't completely answer my question but it was helpful. The only problem I have is with the second link. He states the adj form can not mean eternal...it must have an ending. This obviously still presents the problem of aionion life for saints. So, looking at your post I now understand your stance a little better because you are trying to explain that portion.
It makes more sense to me about aionion being an adj defined by the noun. When we speak of Zoe...the life force given by God...aionion would mean eternal since God is eternal. That makes some sense to me. When speaking about kolasin...remedial punishment for correction...the noun has an intrinsic limit or it wouldn't be remedial or corrective in nature.

This definition of olam makes alot of sense to me...
The Hebrew word olam means in the far distance. When looking off in the far distance it is difficult to make out any details and what is beyond that horizon cannot be seen. This concept is the olam. The word olam is also used for time for the distant past or the distant future as a time that is difficult to know or perceive. This word is frequently translated as eternity or forever but in the English language it is misunderstood to mean a continual span of time that never ends. In the Hebrew mind it is simply what is at or beyond the horizon, a very distant time. A common phrase in the Hebrew is "l'olam va'ed" and is usually translated as "forever and ever" but in the Hebrew it means "to the distant horizon and again" meaning "a very distant time and even further" and is used to express the idea of a very ancient or future time.
I agree with that defenition.
So basicly olam on itself is a quite useless word.
It can mean something very short time spans like 3 days but perhaps there is a verse that uses teh word for an even shorter timespan.
But it can also mean thousands of years.

About the "only God is eternal", what I get is that since eternity means without end AND without beginning, only the Father is eternal because only He has no beginning.
No man is or ever will be eternal because we were created somewhere in time.
He will give us immortality but not eternity.
And great find, haven't read a lot of Von Assen's revelation but it sure look like a gift of God.

I finished reading Mrs. Van Assen's revelation and I can only hope and pray from the bottom of my heart it's a genuine one. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever read.
If I had known (or "believed") all this stuff in my early years I would've made my mission of life to reach as many people with The Truly Good News as possible. I feel like I have been had by the Devil big time. :sigh:

A few years before God showed me UR, I was praying for my agnostic brother to be saved. Again, I felt God impress upon my heart, "he will be saved, but not as you expect". I didn't know at the time what that meant. Praise be to God for His perfect Plan of the Ages.

I finished reading Mrs. Van Assen's revelation and I can only hope and pray from the bottom of my heart it's a genuine one. It's the single most beautiful thing I've ever read. All my questions about God, Christ, the Bible, Life, Universe and Everything answered.
If I had known (or "believed") all this stuff in my early years I would've made my mission of life to reach as many people with The Truly Good News as possible. I feel like I have been had by the Devil big time. :sigh:
I think most of us "feel had". But, after further reflection and some time I'm not sure "we have been had". We were submitted to a season of law. And now you are entering the season of grace in your life. I have a feeling this is just the beginning for you. I feel alot of self loathing on your part. I think that is going to change with your new found revelation. Once you realize how much God loves you...you start loving yourself. You will cut yourself a break and just bask in relationship. You might not be where you ought to be but you certainly are better than what you have been. Progress not perfection is a wonderful saying and I believe it. God doesn't expect you to be perfect. He expects you to grow.

Even thought this is only the beginning, guess it's going to take a lot of time to become fully healed.
By the way an interesting thing happened to me yesterday. It suddenly just occurred to me "predestined" doesn't mean "appointed either to eternal bliss or eternal torment". Instead, it means "destined ahead of time".
I don't know if it was a divine revelation or just my mind playing tricks on me but this explanation just popped in my mind very strongly, completely out of blue.
There's also a recovery or a renewing of our mind whch means that, in that case, older definitions which were wrong are renewed into their true meaning by the Spirit of Thruth.
I also surprise myself sometimes into bringing back hell into my interpretation of Scriptures when it just doesnt exist in that sense.

Yes, I believe this verse is very strong. It does support the interpretation that believers are the first fruits.

:cloud9: Amen Molly......Christ IS the firstfruits of EVERY MAN, He is the "tithe". This is why Abraham was told to lay HIS PROMISED SON on the altar, mirroring what was in the heavenly pattern. God will (and has) provide the sacrifice......it is not of man, lest any should boast. Blessings....

I still get in that a lot, like you said, you can't change overnight.
Christianity has taught us that God is so in love with us that every good promises are for us and every judgement and punishment are for the evil unbelievers.

When I first found out about universal reconciliation, I was disturbed about the church not telling me about it, but then, after learning about church history, I realized the church really doesn't want you to know the truth in scripture because it would expose their method of operation which is systematized deception. After a while I came to understand that, even though we may wish that we had known the truth much earlier in life, God subjects us to the darkness so we can really appreciate the light when we see it. I also think we all came from circumstances that help us share the truth in special ways with those who have similar circumstances in their life now but have yet to realize the truth. People who have shared common experiences with those who are still deceived are the ones that can best help them come to know the truth. So we shouldn't be down on ourselves or anybody or anything that seems to be responsible for having kept us in the dark because now we know how to guide those still in the dark into the light! We don't always understand God's ways, but he's always got the best plan for us that works out in the long run. God is operating all according to his will, and nothing can change that. So I don't dwell on the past or even present failures due to my human error because I know it all causes me to rely on God who is the savior of all mankind.

I think what Paul is talking about there is believers being requited at the "dais of Christ" which shouldn't be confused with the "great white throne" where unbelievers will be judged and condemned to "the second death-the lake of fire." The believer's "work shall be burned up" if it is based on false doctrine of human philosophy rather than the foundation Paul laid which is Jesus Christ. Unbelievers will be saved at the consummation of the eons when death is abolished and God will be "all in all."
The attachments show that "judgment seat" is an inaccurate translation which is probably why some folks confuse the "dais of Christ" with the "great white throne."
The Greek "bematos," literally "dais," is a raised platform, but the Greek "thronon," literally "throne," is used for the "great white throne."
