She could use some Joyce Meyer.

Joyce isn't perhaps someone that this site would sponsor (she isn't UR, and is what many would call "Traditional"), but I personally would vouch that her teaching-applications have helped me tremendously.

http://www.joycemeyer.org/ourministries/broadcast/

She has a lot of good stuff to offer, I believe.  I'd be years behind if God hadn't introduced me to this servant of his.

She is a tv-evangelist, so there are a few faults, and she does have some products; but she bears fruit, and that's the key.

I think at the very least, it will be helpful to you, and your situation, since your prostitute friend might be able to relate to her. :)

I really, really do recommend it.

It sounds like your friend has several addictions and until she is ready to face them, her behavior will probably stay the same.  I have a cousin who is very similar and constantly tells me she is going to change but it won't happen until she is truly ready. I know that she wants the results of her behavior to be different, but she doesn't actually want to change the behavior.

I try to remember two things about my cousin:

1. She is getting something out of her behavior - attention, chaos, rescued, etc. - that is more important to her than changing her behavior.

2.  There is nothing I can do to force her to change but I can tell her how I feel and stop enabling her behavior

If I were you I would simply pray for God to help you do what's best for her in the long run, even if might be difficult to do.  Good luck with your friend.

   We can't change other peoples' behavior, but we can draw the line on what we're willing to put up with.

I can't say she's not, but not everyone who says they're a Christian actually is.  ("the devils believe and tremble", "not everyone that says Lord, Lord", etc.).  Is there fruit anywhere, any evidence that "in Christ Jesus, old things are passing away, and behold, all things are becoming new" in her life?  Anything that shows a change, as in "spiritually born from above"?  Either way, there's nothing that says you have to like or put up with her behavior - especially under your own roof.  We can gently and lovingly, yet firmly draw some lines, set some limits, etc.

It may be hard to know exactly how to do this lovingly;  not self-righteously, not even condemningly - but Paul turned certain people out (out from under the protection of the ecclesia?) - so they would suffer the consequences and learn.  And he said this;       "But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one."  I Cor. 5:11.  Still though, even if she were unsaved, I don't believe you are required to be held a victim in any way to her behavior.

So I'd say pray about it, ask for God's guidance, to help you love and have the right attitude;  but IMO, that doesn't necessarily mean you're required to like or put up with the continued behavior.

So, I'm really just encouraging you to pray about guidance, and to not feel you have to "put up with it" and be a victim - that you can do something in such a sad situation.

Blessings, James.

This is a challenging situation. On one hand she is your friend and Jesus forgave the prostitute, but on the other hand the bible says not to be unequally yoked with unbelivers.

Sounds to me she enjoys destruction and thrills of stealing etc. I don't think she realizes the danger she is in and is allways high. Maybe you should slap her and wake her up  :laughing7:
But with a thrill seeker like her she probably would sue you for fun.

I think its important that you do not let her destroy you, so maybe you should tell her you cannot be friends with her anymore and instead let God be her friend, by praying for her etc and by a miracle maybe she will mend her ways.

Remember that the apostle Paul gave up some of his members to Satan, so they do not blaspheme. I would not call upon Satan for he already has a grip on her life and that is a dangerous thing to even mention him but pray to God for direction. I think the apostle Paul did not call upon satan but rather simply let his disciple to his own devices and thus by consoquence satan was involved.

:cloud9: It's a difficult situation because sometimes unconditional love IS what wins them to Christ, and you may be the only way she "sees" it. I would fast and pray and ask the Lord for direction in how to deal (or not to) with her next. Spiritual warfare demands spiritual tactics, and she is in the hands of spirits that want her destruction and until her eyes are opened to the reality of that, words are not going to faze her, most likely. Blessings....

You know . . .there "is" that chance that she was sent to you not so you could help her, but that through this experience, this trial, this tribulation . . .this is a furnace for which God may have called you into to bring purification to your own heart and soul so that on the other side, this experience would manifest pure, unconditional love for the person, rather than basing love on the actions of the person.

Hell experiences are never easy . . .if they were, they'd be called "heaven" experiences.  My first thought at reading the original plea here was that guidelines should be laid out and if not followed, then the occupant should be let go from the living quarters.

And the comments previous to mine make valid sense . . .unequally yoked, Paul condoning removing a person from the church, even though the motives to that one were to always have a reconciliation following the removal . . .

But when I laid my head down . . .the message changed.  So all I can say now is .  .lay your head down and see what the spirit reveals to you personally on this.

she sounds like a really bad sinner  :msealed:

joking aside, love her, pray, help, dont show judgment, in time God will heal, only in his time, and remember:

he/she who is forgiven much, loveth much.

when she realizes just how much God HAS forgiven her, there will be great rejoicing.

Rom 5:10   For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Rom 5:11   And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

2Cr 5:18   And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

2Cr 5:19   To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

2Cr 5:20   Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

minister  reconciliation unto her!!

God bless

Being a Friend never has meant that you just accept someones behavior and overlook it.  It does not mean that you have to hang out with someone and watch while they do all the things you believe are wrong, hurtful to themselves or hurtful to others.

Sometimes being a friend and loving someone means to draw the line, let them know that you want to be friends and want to spend time with them but you can't just sit and watch them behave certain ways.

I have dealt with this in the past two ways,  I have stated my case and then find things to do with that person that is not on their home turf.

Take your friend somewhere out of her element, if she doesn't want to do that, then don't spend time with her.   If she does then let her get her life off her chest and be there for her.

Secondly, I have had to let friends go,  not to tell them I do not want to spend time with them, but to not focus on them as if it was my job to fix them.  Have conversations, when they start talking about their habits, life woes, tell them not to talk to you about those things, because you can't help them and don't approve of doing any of it and that you want to be friends and have a relationship that isn't like patient and counselor.

I will second Joyce Meyers.  When I was in deep dark depression, anxiety and addiction God used hers and Charles Stanley's messages to help me.

Wow Tank... pretty harsh and negatively ASSUMING statement!  :pitiful:

Someone that is immersed in such behavior needs ABOVE ALL, a friend that is understanding, and that BELIEVES that God shall lead them in ministering to this person, while KEEPING you from the dangers -- Jude 24 --  :dontknow:

How do you percieve that CHRIST was not only motivated to go into the darkness, but was dependent upon the Father to KEEP Him from falling?  Instead recommending one to RUN AWAY from a problem that needs the attendance of the PHYSICIAN?

If we all take such "standoffish" positions concerning sinful behaviors of friends or family, then WHO is left to influence them?  Are not the evildoers, (once YOU abandon them) left to them, as their only company?  :dontknow:

Just leave them to DIE?  Where is CHRIST in this recommendation?

Quote from: thinktank on October 05, 2010, 10:45:33 PMI think its important that you do not let her destroy you, so maybe you should tell her you cannot be friends with her anymore and instead let God be her friend, by praying for her etc and by a miracle maybe she will mend her ways.

Wow... on the way to "church" without conscience, ...do we pass the wounded by on the roadside ignoring their need -- Luke 10:30-36 -- and then (hypocritically) arrive in "church" calling ourselves  "ministers of CHRIST"? :rolleye:

Worrying FIRST about SELF, leaving the one which BURIED in dire circumstance, to their own destructive devices?  :mshock:

And in doing so, pass the "friend" buck to God, and let "Him" take care of it?  How do you percieve that GOD works in this world Tank?  :dontknow:

I thought we were to be INSTRUMENTS in His hand, bro?

Is this the way we shall go about representing GOD, ...by waxing COLD, SELFISH and INDIFFERENT... and in doing so, claim to be the followers of LOVE? :dunno:

What if JESUS had taken this attitude concerning US?  :sigh:

Quote from: thinktank on October 05, 2010, 10:45:33 PMRemember that the apostle Paul gave up some of his members to Satan, so they do not blaspheme. I would not call upon Satan for he already has a grip on her life and that is a dangerous thing to even mention him but pray to God for direction.

"satan" is plainly the principality of adversity ITSELF (not an individual which is "omnipresent")... and anyone immersed in it, shall be ADVERSARY to that which is GOOD and RIGHT.

If Paul is here indeed giving this one up to "satan", ...he was not handing them over to the "dirtbag", for them to get "cleansed" was he?  How can that be?

There are deep spiritual teachings in this passage -- 1 Cor 5 -- much like are found in Mark 9:43-50

The Leaven, is not the persons, it is the ACTIVITY of the persons (son & fathers wife) that taints the collective, combined with the purposed IGNORANCE of the activity within their midst, BY the collective...

It is the ACTIVITY that needs to be PUT AWAY... not the persons which, to begin with, were beloved in the collective... to be abandoned by that "loving" collective in their time of need...  :HeartThrob:

How can an outfit call itself the ministry of UNSELFISH LOVE, while practicing UNLOVING SELFISHNESS?

I believe this passage is speaking of followers, not being PARTY to what another does concerning evil behaviors... If you KNOW they are doing evil, you must take the opportunity to employ measures that minister GOOD, not abandon the one DISEASED, when they are in dire need of HEALING.

Seems to me that it is a common thing, for most "christian's" to be in a hurry to "kick out" sinners instead of helping them!   What kind of compassion is found in this approach? (again, revisit the story of the "good samaritan")

This friend of Junkbunny, has openly cried about her problem... which shows an inner concern in her heart, ...but most drug addicted's do this... and yet, lack the strength and motivations from within themselves, to address their problems.

Have you ever had proximity with a drug addict (friend or fam)?  It is a hard thing... but LOVE that is truly LOVE, ...stands by the one in harms way, it does NOT ABANDON them in time of need.

Maybe being outspokenly truthful (in a gentle manner) might be a better way of helping this girl, reminding her of her tears, ...instead of just BOOTING her out into the street where she can easily find DEATH and DESTRUCTION from her habits... (drugs, protitution, etc.)

Shall we do this with all criminal behavior, Tank?  Ever see the movie "Escape from New York"? It is about isolating the criminals, and killing them if they try to escape... Hey, let's abandon any attempts to rehabilitate SIN, with the LOVE of GOD as our strength, and just create a giant prison, and let the evil ones "eat each other up", or KILL them if necessary! :rolleye:

Quote from: thinktank on October 05, 2010, 10:45:33 PMI think the apostle Paul did not call upon satan but rather simply let his disciple to his own devices and thus by consoquence satan was involved.

Wasn't "satan", ...already "involved"?  The passage -- 1 Cor 5:1-13 speaks of FORNICATION in the midst, which was being IGNORED by the believers, instead of being addressed.  No one was "stepping up to the plate"... instead, they were SILENTLY condoning the "fornication" (a man having his father's wife).

I guess we all look at things differently... but as I see the WORDS of CHRIST -- Matt 5:44-48 -- that note to forgive enemies, and BLESS them, ...means to HELP them, as messengers and ministers of GOD...

It seems an OPPOSITE and SELFISHLY oriented doing --- to adopt a philosphy that kicks OUT the "enemies"... so they don't violate ..."US"...

Hello willie

I'm suprised you are spending your energy responding to my post in negativity. I personally thought it good advice, which if you read it correctly would mean that it is a challenging situation for the person, because on one hand forgiveness is required and also this woman is clearly in sin, which the scriptures say, do not hang around a brethren who commits such things. I am not the only one here willie who sees this challenging situation, how is being critical towards the person junkbunny or people like me who try to help by quoting scripture for not taking care of this sinfull women helping the situation?
Where are your words of encouragment willie? But as usual your too busy pointing the finger at other people, your edification is more like criticalation.

Sounds to me she enjoys destruction and thrills of stealing etc. I don't think she realizes the danger she is in and is allways high. Maybe you should slap her and wake her up  laughing7

I cannot possibly see what you find as funny about this, Tank...  Sigh

It can be funny, because it is unexpected, it all depends on who is doing the slapping and the situation. I do not condone violence but sometimes a person needs a good slap, woman do this all the time to their sons, husbands, fathers slap their kids and also slap crazy women. I hope your not the type of person who thinks slapping people is evil or even worthy of a jail sentence. Of course there are husbands out there who beat their woman in violence, what could be called slapping, but that it something that only the viewer can behold whether it is truly violent.

But with a thrill seeker like her she probably would sue you for fun.

Wow Tank... pretty harsh and negatively ASSUMING statement!

I'm only showing a possible scenario, that a thrill seeker is more likely to do things like this, which is logical. A destructive person does destructive things.

Someone that is immersed in such behavior needs ABOVE ALL, a friend that is understanding, and that BELIEVES that God shall lead them in ministering to this person, while KEEPING you from the dangers -- Jude 24 --

I agree and I already said that willie. Here it is again

I think its important that you do not let her destroy you, so maybe you should tell her you cannot be friends with her anymore and instead let God be her friend, by praying for her etc and by a miracle maybe she will mend her ways.

Just leave them to DIE?  Where is CHRIST in this recommendation?

I see your point and that's why I said its a challenging situation. But don't you see that the sins of this woman could destroy junkbunny? So not only is the woman destroyed but  junkbunny is destroyed also. That's why the scriptures says to not be yoked with an unbeliver, the sins of another person can infect the beliver and drag them down with them. The power of sin is strong willie, and we as saints are not perfect and neither are we invincible, the sins can bring us down. If you don't think that the sins of the woman are not powerful, then consider this, those that have ears to hear, this womans sins are

1. Excessive spending, thrill seeking
2. Stealing
3. prostitution
4. possible drug usage

Now take a look at the username of the saint. Junkbunny?

So you see the poison has already affected the mind of the christian sister here, that he comes to a christian forum and calls himself junkbunny.

Junk, self explanatory - bunny- we all know what that can incline towards

I'm not going to respond to the rest of your words, for I know you are just expressing concern for this sinful woman which is good and right.

Interestingly that you bring the film up, because you have not mentioned a film before, since I have been here. So last night I watched a film called kiss of the dragon with kung fu star Jet li , in this movie he befriends a prostitute, and finds out that this woman is working for criminal gangsters who recruit women to work for them or they use violence, the main boss is actually a policeman and uses his police force to try and kill jet li. I bring this up because God is spirit, works in mysterious ways of synchronization and there might be a connection, that I watched this film that features a prostitute and you bring this post up that mentions a film for the first time.
Anyway as the brethren and sisters have mentioned here, that the best advice is to pray and see what God would have them do. Kicking them out is an option I'm affraid to say willie and is scriptural but also it is an option to keep them in the house and give them time to change, but ultimately only God knows the best course of action for this person called junkbunny.

The devil posts have been addressed many times before, it seems scriptures is not enough you need a revelation from the holy spirit, to help you on this subject.

May the lord Jesus bless you for at least having a concerned heart for the woman in question, even though you should have directed that concern towards helping junkbunny and not wasting it towards criticizing the good advice of the brethren. But maybe this was Gods will, so that the film idea popped up and might speak to junkbunny.

Thinktank, do not be discouraged, you gave healthy, and wise advice.

Heed not the argumentative natures of those who argue for thrill.  May God bless you for being practical, and being a vessel by which The Holy Spirit, God himself may bless another - and change the life of another for the better.

God says to turn the other cheek, but he does not say for us to willingly be bad stewards of our lives by letting ourselves be abused, or walked all over for no good reason.  We won't be harmed if we drink poison...but that is not a license to go out and take a good swig of it.

The proverbs say do not go into the harlots house, and it is better to live on the corner of the roof than to live with an argumentative wife; that could be applied to friends as well.

Don't let the harlot into your own home (if she refuses to get better), and its better to live on the corner of town, than to live downtown with a "friend" who mistreats you.

But what is the real reason for kicking her out?  What if I am the only Jesus she'll ever have the experience of seeing?  If "I" kick her out, who's left out there to help her get better?  No one's saying you should ignore her issues.  Perhaps God is looking for someone what a heart bigger than her addictions that can console her and give her some sound wisdom and warnings about bad things that are result of bad decisions and let her know that regardless of how ugly she is, how much she smells, she's got a friend that truly cares and wants to be a part of the solution to getting her out of her hell.

But if I just kick her out for fear of her tainting me . . .really?  Am I so fragile with Christ in me that I can't be around sinful people anymore?  Doing the right thing here is more than likely going to be doing the harder thing.  Kicking her out is just too easy.

We aren't saying to just kick her out, atleast I am not.  But I am saying that she should not feel obligated under a spirit of guilt to take care of her if she can't - just because she is a daughter of Christ.

She needs to pray about it, that is a given.  If God does not give her the grace to continue, or if God does not show her that she is making progress...she needs to shake the dust from her feet.

She may be a Christian, but she is finite, even the eyes of Faith need to see results.  If these results do not come, and God does not tell her to keep waiting, or watching - then it is a work of the flesh to try and maintain this girl, which might even be enabling.

If it is a work of the Spirit, she'll see results, if it is the efforts of the flesh under guilt (after a time of watching, and expecting, and serving, and praying - and seeing no results) then she needs to stop, because it is in vain.

That being said: Junkbunny;

Pray, watch, serve, wait, expect, ask for results, ask for discernment, ask for God's grace, and ask for God's will.

QuoteThe devil posts have been addressed many times before, it seems scriptures is not enough you need a revelation from the holy spirit, to help you on this subject.

I've read nearly everything written about satan and demons in this forum and quite frankly you should heed your own advice.

Junkbunny:
My opinion is that you should follow sister Card's advice and ask YOUR Lord about what do to about His daughter. If you ask in His name/nature/love, He'll answer, He promised.

Lefein you stated
She may be a Christian, but she is finite, even the eyes of Faith need to see results

I can't receive your premise here because if faith requires proof, then it's not faith at all.  Faith is seeing what isn't there as though it is.  It doesn't come back and question whether or not it did or didn't.  Our minds do that, but not faith.

All though I do aggree with your opening remark in that if she isn't equipped then by all means don't try to go through with it.  Yet at the same time, if we find ourselves "in" the situation already, then rather than looking for an exit, perhaps it'd be better to realize that we've already been equipped, our head just wasn't aware of it.  Does not Scripture state that God turns things originally headed toward destruction, and he reverses them into "con"struction?

That which was originally going to tear us down can become the very thing that builds us up.  A sheep is lost . . .who is willing to reach out and bring it in?

If I'm believing God for this month's rent - I need this month's rent, not a sermon.

If that makes any sense for explaining the eyes of faith needing to see results.

Or a closer to home sort of thing in my case - I see a virgin, innocent, beautiful, blue eyed girl as my Helper - I see her with eyes of faith because I don't yet see her with eyes of sight.  But I can't spend all of my life chasing the horizon with eyes of faith - I need to see results of the day of our meeting in sight coming closer, and closer, until Faith becomes Sight.

Hence; Faith needs to see results, not proof, because I don't have proof that the rent will come, neither do I have proof that the girl will appear.  But results are not proof, they are the visible goal of an invisible journey.

Just to clarify that ^_^

willieH: Hi Tank...

Your responses are in red below...

Quote from: thinktank on October 09, 2010, 02:21:05 AM

FIRST --- Obviously you didn't read (or asborb what I said in) the post... I encouraged staying BY her friend, and drawing off the strength of the Lord, as opposed to ABANDONING her and "leaving her to the Lord"... wherein is the ministry, if that is done, Tank?

If we wish to be ministers, we do not run from challenges which might occur within family and/or friends...

SECOND --- I didn't point any fingers... I spoke of the situation as I saw it, and noted what I see as descrepancies in your advice to Junkbunny.

THIRD --- to name the woman SINFUL as if YOU are not is a short sight on your part, bro -- 1 John 1:8

TANK --- Sounds to me she enjoys destruction and thrills of stealing etc. I don't think she realizes the danger she is in and is allways high. Maybe you should slap her and wake her up   :laughing7:

Quote from: willieHI cannot possibly see what you find as funny about this, Tank...  :sigh:

Quote from: TANKIt can be funny, because it is unexpected, it all depends on who is doing the slapping and the situation.

:omg: Physical assault (slapping) on another adult (or child) IS a crime... and is NEVER funny.  Your supporter (which has named your advice as good) has encouraged your advice which is BY LAW, assault... therefore you BOTH encourage Junkbunny to partake in a CRIMINAL activity...

Quote from: TANKBut with a thrill seeker like her she probably would sue you for fun.

Quote from: willieHWow Tank... pretty harsh and negatively ASSUMING statement!

TANK --- I'm only showing a possible scenario, that a thrill seeker is more likely to do things like this, which is logical. A destructive person does destructive things.

What is "fun" about a lawsuit, TANK?  And is it not ASSUMING to belittle this person (Junkbunnys friend) whom YOU DO NOT KNOW... further?

Quote from: willieHSomeone that is immersed in such behavior needs ABOVE ALL, a friend that is understanding, and that BELIEVES that God shall lead them in ministering to this person, while KEEPING you from the dangers -- Jude 24

TANK: I agree and I already said that willie. Here it is again

Quote from: TankI think its important that you do not let her destroy you, so maybe you should tell her you cannot be friends with her anymore and instead let God be her friend, by praying for her etc and by a miracle maybe she will mend her ways.

How is telling this person that she cannot be a friend any longer a POSITIVE suggestion, Tank?

Suggesting that Junkbunny abandon her (in the "spirit" of not being --- her brothers keeper?  :rolleye:)

Quote from: willieHHow do you percieve that CHRIST was not only motivated to go into the darkness, but was dependent upon the Father to KEEP Him from falling?  Instead recommending one to RUN AWAY from a problem that needs the attendance of the PHYSICIAN?

If we all take such "standoffish" positions concerning sinful behaviors of friends or family, then WHO is left to influence them?  Are not the evildoers, (once YOU abandon them) left to them, as their only company?

Just leave them to DIE?  Where is CHRIST in this recommendation?

TANK: I see your point and that's why I said its a challenging situation. But don't you see that the sins of this woman could destroy junkbunny?

Not if Junkbunny is entering, as did CHRIST, with faith in the protection of the Father, as an instrument of HIS, in His hand, which embarks upon bringing HEALING to this tormented womens life!

The Scripture notes:

Phil 4:13 -- I can do ALL THINGS through CHRIST who strengtheneth me

TANK:  So not only is the woman destroyed but  junkbunny is destroyed also. That's why the scriptures says to not be yoked with an unbeliver, the sins of another person can infect the beliver and drag them down with them.

This is speaking of quarreling with an unbeliever... the word "yoked" in 2 Cor 6:14 means "discordant"/at variance.

In saying this, you portray EVIL as greater in power when confronted with GOODNESS... that instead of the GOOD prevailing, that the bearer of it, shall instead be DRAGGED DOWN into the evil...  :mshock:  Where is FAITH exercised in this?  :dontknow:

If this were so, than many if not ALL missionairies in the world are carelessly endangering themselves as they heed the advice given them by CHRIST to go into the "hedges and highways" as did He...

Luke 14:16-24 -- The supposed "hearers" of Him didn't have time to "eat the supper" of GOD, ...so CHRIST said to go proclaim it to those into the STREETS and LANES of the CITY, and invite the (spiritually) LAME, BLIND and HALT to the supper (which is the "eating" of TRUTH, the bread of LIFE)...

TANK: The power of sin is strong willie, and we as saints are not perfect and neither are we invincible, the sins can bring us down.

And the power of GOOD cannot equally and MORE, ...exalt and LIFT the one who is immersed in evil, FROM IT?  We, if indeed we are "saints" shall be about sharing the TRUTH with ANY which will hear it... not run from the power of EVIL.

TANK:  If you don't think that the sins of the woman are not powerful, then consider this, those that have ears to hear, this womans sins are

1. Excessive spending, thrill seeking
2. Stealing
3. prostitution
4. possible drug usage

FIRST --- Yes... those that have EARS to hear... may they "hear" the truth within this interaction... not the proclamation of any which either subliminally or blatantly, self-proclaims their view as being such...

SECOND --- You are ridden with FEARING evil, instead of recieving from on HIGH, the power which is greater.  These problems (though formidable if we fight them of ourselves) have no power at all in comparison to that which is ABOVE.

THIRD --- If all counselors took your position, there would be no rehab from these problems for ANYONE entraped in them, at all!!  ...Instead you would WEAKLY abandon the HELPLESS, to their mischoosings, with no FAITH in the power you claim to represent... Had CHRIST took that position with you... you might well be numbered WITH THESE yourself.

TANK:Now take a look at the username of the saint. Junkbunny?

So you see the poison has already affected the mind of the christian sister here, that he comes to a christian forum and calls himself junkbunny.

Junk, self explanatory - bunny- we all know what that can incline towards

:omg: Now you have (without any information or witness) deduced our sister Junkbunny, ...as "Junk" (self explanatory) and concluded that she is also already overcome in this situation , noting "Bunny" means "incline towards"...  :sigh:

TANK:  I'm not going to respond to the rest of your words, for I know you are just expressing concern for this sinful woman which is good and right.

This is true... I am concerned about everyone which is dealing with evil in their lives...  :cloud9:

TANK: Interestingly that you bring the film up, because you have not mentioned a film before, since I have been here.

I agree with most of what you have said in these words, except for "kicking out" the sinner... We are to be working the LEAVEN out of one another, by the encouragements of the GREATER POWER, not running from the varying diseases which plague men... or abandoning those amidst those plagues...

Anyone reading the NT accounts of CHRIST will see Him continually amidst the drunks, thieves, prostitutes, etc (and being criticized for being amongst them by the "religious" leaders)... for as He Himself noted to those "religious leaders"... Only the "sick" (that are aware of and are, presently overcome of their plight), ...NEED, ...the PHYSICIAN -- Mark 2:16-17 -- Luke 5:30-31 --  The "religious" which esteem themselves apart from this conditin are thereby, left to themselves, and to the deceptions which hold them as unspiritual, and empty of compassion... failing to KNOW ...their own ...NEED.

TANK:  The devil posts have been addressed many times before, it seems scriptures is not enough you need a revelation from the holy spirit, to help you on this subject.

It is not you place to tell me of my "needs"... and the only thing WITH WHICH, you can make such determinations --- is by employing your own potentially fallible beliefs, as the measure of mine.

As far as I am concerned, I long ago was revealed by the Holy Spirit, as to what the "devil" is an IS NOT...  :dontknow:

TANK:  May the lord Jesus bless you for at least having a concerned heart for the woman in question, even though you should have directed that concern towards helping junkbunny and not wasting it towards criticizing the good advice of the brethren.

Thanks for this good wish, brother... but it remains my position that your advice and the advice of a few others in this thread can hardly be considered as "good"... when you advise SLAPPING of another and such... and in your conjectures, determine our sister Junkbunny... as JUNK and BUNNY, defining and determining "bunny" as "inclined" toward "whatever" negatives your mind engages...

TANK: But maybe this was Gods will, so that the film idea popped up and might speak to junkbunny.

God in His way, uses all things and IS WORKING ALL THINGS (good or evil) -- Eph 1:11 -- (often in a way beyond our ability to behold as in the case of Pharaoh which lifted the name YHVH by his deeds of evil -- Rom 9:10)... to conclude in LOVE and COMPLETENESS... (perfection)

May His WORDS speak to YOU and I, ...as well as help our sister Junkbunny AND her friend...  :grouppray:

:Peace: Tank...

I'm not talking about junkbunny here, but just strategy in general. Do you think it's wise to spend all ones time energy and resources on someone who is not showing any sings of improvment? would it not make more sense to spend that time and energy on people who are willing and open to receive good seed and then produce fruit?

Because Christ cursed the fig tree, because it refused to grow fruit.

To me I think its worthwhile to spend time and energy on people that you love but on people that you dont have much love for you don't have the stamina to continue helping them and might be wasting our time one them. You might say we are called to love all people, I agree with that, but I'm looking at things from a strategic viewpoint, that it would be better to help 3 people make lasting changes in only 2 years rather than struggle with just one person for 10 years who is not making any changes.

There are tings I do not like about this strategy

But what do you think?

I think this may be my last response again as on the other thread with Lefein, it's getting nowhere to argue with people's minds who refuse to accept any other point of view other than their own.

But the whole point here is for the good of BOTH parties involved.  You say you're not referring to junkbunny, which I thought was why we were responding on this particular thread.  For me, I "was" responding to her situation by stating that if she's not equipped to deal with the other person, then God would not have arranged it.  However, if she doesn't feel like she "can" be of any good and wants out, then that's up to her with no condemnation on my part.

but because she's asking for advice, that indicates she's unsure and so that's where we come in . . .to share our point of views so hopefully, somewhere someone says something that can encourage her and give her strength in seeing what it is she needs to do next.

so . . ."who's" time are we talking about then?  "our" time and "our" effort . . . That still sounds like we're looking out for #1 here.  Even though to my understanding, the nature of the Father is to put others before ourselves.

Is this all about me seeing results in another person?  Or is this about simply living out life in obedience to the voice of the Father speaking within me?  Paul stated that one plants, another comes along and waters . . there's no mention of the first one who planted is still their waiting for evidence that he didn't waste his time or seeds.

Now if you are saying . . .no matter what she does, the other person rejects everything she tries and says and still thinks they have the right to force themselves into her home, in that case then I think she needs to set down with them and realign some priorities in the home.

For me, the bottom line for any of this is, if someone is into something that I either don't know how, or can't be the way to give them a hand up, prayer is the most powerful weapon we have at our disposal.

FIRST --- Obviously you didn't read (or asborb what I said in) the post... I encouraged staying BY her friend, and drawing off the strength of the Lord, as opposed to ABANDONING her and "leaving her to the Lord"... wherein is the ministry, if that is done, Tank?

But you were more interested in addressing me first so I wonder whether your care is genuine or just using it as an argument of heavy burden against me, others and junkbunny.

If we wish to be ministers, we do not run from challenges which might occur within family and/or friends...

I never told her to run, only that is an option and is scriptural. Kicking her out on the streets and leave her to die is not what I am saying even an unbeliver would have difficulty doing that, just letting their friend die. I believe that junkbunny is wise enough, that if she kicked her out as I suggested, then she would use her wisdom to also have a place for her to stay. This woman staying with junkbunny is not broke, she is making money as a teacher and probably lots from prostitution.
Where is the evil in kicking this woman out if she is able to find another place to stay?
This woman is not homeless or broke as you might have thought and it seems that she does not care much about junkbunny or her opinion.

THIRD --- to name the woman SINFUL as if YOU are not is a short sight on your part, bro -- 1 John 1:8

She is sinful and we are talking about her not me. Do you want me to confess all my sins to you willie? no offense but I do not trust you enough to confess you my sins.

Physical assault (slapping) on another adult (or child) IS a crime... and is NEVER funny.  Your supporter (which has named your advice as good) has encouraged your advice which is BY LAW, assault... therefore you BOTH encourage Junkbunny to partake in a CRIMINAL activity...

Did you ever get slapped as a child willie? Do you think your slapper deserves to go to jail?

What kind of Nazi state do you want to live in? Do you want it to be illegal to also swear at a person?

And you talk about forgivness all the time , but you want to criminalize a simple slap, that doesn't even cause physical damage. Furthermore this is a christian forum and I trust that the people who do any slapping have enough of God within them to know what is right and proper. Do you want the government to regulate every aspect of our behaviour?

What is "fun" about a lawsuit, TANK?  And is it not ASSUMING to belittle this person (Junkbunnys friend) whom YOU DO NOT KNOW... further?

I don't need to belittle her, she belittles herself. Her behaviour is destructive, whether one loves her or not.

Nothing is fun about a lawsuit, execept for those people who enjoy the thrill of winning. I have seen them on tv, they do exist and you are naive to think otherwise.

How is telling this person that she cannot be a friend any longer a POSITIVE suggestion, Tank?

Well I read her story and the woman thinks that is is fun to sleep around with men. This woman is so much in darkness that she does not belive it to be destructive, but fun. If junkbunny tells her she cannot be friends with her then it may wake up this woman to realize that her actions are having a negative effect on her friends (junkbunnies) life. If this woman had any love or respect for junkbunny she might consider her ways and realize she's upsetting her friend.

Suggesting that Junkbunny abandon her (in the "spirit" of not being --- her brothers keeper?  Rolleye)

No abandon her in the flesh, but not in the spirit. For I reccomend she prayed for her friend.
She doesnt have to be friends with her, the same way that we are not friends with each other, but pray for each through Christ. Thank God we do not live with each other, I think this is something you will agree with me on.  :swordfight:

Not if Junkbunny is entering, as did CHRIST, with faith in the protection of the Father, as an instrument of HIS, in His hand, which embarks upon bringing HEALING to this tormented womens life!

The Scripture notes:

Phil 4:13 -- I can do ALL THINGS through CHRIST who strengtheneth me

She can do that at a distance though. Maybe move out and she can meet up at a pub and discuss things etc and also pray for her. But ultimately the choice is hers to make and not mine or yours. I do not condemn her for whatever choice she makes and neither should you.

Mshock  Where is FAITH exercised in this?

Tell that to the apostle Paul, who I think had more faith than most of us, but yet reccomended not to be in company with those that practice lawlessness. He never said to lose faith or hope but to pray for them and edify them, but not to spend all the time with them.

If this were so, than many if not ALL missionairies in the world are carelessly endangering themselves as they heed the advice given them by CHRIST to go into the "hedges and highways" as did He..

These missionaries spent time with ALL the congregation and thus they would not spend too long on just one person. How long did Jesus spend with a person , 5 minutes? 10 minutes?
IT is the spirit of God that is able to empower us and overcome sin, not the efforts of our friends as well meaning as they try, they can only encourage.

They came to Christ to be healed, how can junkbunny heal this woman? She cannot, but only guide her towards Christ.

And the power of GOOD cannot equally and MORE, ...exalt and LIFT the one who is immersed in evil, FROM IT?  We, if indeed we are "saints" shall be about sharing the TRUTH with ANY which will hear it... not run from the power of EVIL.

The power from high is strong, but many christians fall, too many, including champions like solomon, David. I admire your courage Peter err I mean willie but is it holy ghost power or carnal ego power.

FIRST --- Yes... those that have EARS to hear... may they "hear" the truth within this interaction... not the proclamation of any which either subliminally or blatantly, self-proclaims their view as being such..

The idea was about junkbunny and people here who might see the connection through the spirit of God, not about manupilation to try and paint an ugly picture of junkbunny a person whom I have never met nor spoken on this forum before. Only she knows whether there is any truth to her username, furthermore I did not say that she was involved with these sins, only that the very presence of these sins in her house would bring temptation to her door on a daily basis. A bit like living with a person who watches pornography, you might not engage in it yourself but the very presence of it, makes it a DAILY TEMPTATION which taxes the mind and spirit.

SECOND --- You are ridden with FEARING evil, instead of recieving from on HIGH, the power which is greater.  These problems (though formidable if we fight them of ourselves) have no power at all in comparison to that which is ABOVE.

I do fear, as I am only human. But the same fear that shows in fear of falling into sin by other tenants can also show up, if one leaves them to their own devices. Isn't that fearfull to?
The fear that if we leave them then they will die?

What about the man that approached Jesus.

59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Did he fear about his household?

He wanted to go back to check on them. But Jesus said leave them alone.

So to me there are instance in life where Jesus calls us to leave our father house and be driven into a land that I will show thee.

If junkbunny feels herself strong enough to take on this challenge then good. But it seems from her post that she has lost strength. Does one assign a firefighter to fix a car or assign a doctor to farm crops? under such situations would only cause grief and frustration, so can junkbunny save her friend?  :dontknow:

Secondly I never took a position as such, only gave a map or a path, of potential travel. Why would I repeat the same advice that people here have alreeady given. That advice is pray and seek what God would have her do. The path that I outlayed to her is scripturally based and you have not given any argument, which says that this path should not be travelled in any curcumstance. Im affraid that the path i have given her is a scripurally accepted path and its up to her to choose her path wisely.

Now you have (without any information or witness) deduced our sister Junkbunny, ...as "Junk" (self explanatory) and concluded that she is also already overcome in this situation , noting "Bunny" means "incline towards"...

That is not my intention. Only to highlight the fact that her choice of username might hide a subconcious problem. Also the picture she has is a pic of a man gone insane holding a knife in his hand. Do you want to see junkbunny turned into this? I do not, that is why leaving her friend could be a wise idea, this is not being negative it is merely a potential scenerio, which she can save herself from, if she be wise and seek God.

Ok but I believe you are deceiving yourself and if there arises demonic problems you will have no means of attacking demonic problems.

You pick out bit of advice which you can spin to you advantage as being evil, while ignoring the good advice in order to suit yourself as the voice of authority. If you think slapping is evil and should be criminalized then that is your own affair, but the gospel shows that not only does christ expects us to forgive when one smiteth us on our cheeks but the bible says in proverbs to use a rod on a child and he will not die. An evil man would use that as an excuse to use violence on their children, but if they are evil anyway, why would they need the bible or even listen to it to tell them how to behave? So that advice is for Godly men and women who use discipline with Godly wisdom, so I can imagine that there won't be many of these instances. It depends on the personality some parents out there smack their kids for things like being late etc my mum for instance was regularly smacked because her mother was full of pride and smacked for all the wrong reasons, but to me I think physical discipline should only be used when their life is in danger and they need to change from bad behaviour, afterall what's worse a red leg or a broken leg?. A red leg or a dead leg?

Proverbs 13:24
He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Proverbs 23:13
Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.

Proverbs 29:15
The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.

sounds like today, lets leave this kid in front of the tv all day watching blood and violence and when he comes back from school causing trouble, wonder what the problem is. Obesity epidemic, kid violence epidemic? Is this the cause? I doubt it's that simple, but we'd be naiive to think it is not a factor.

I have already explained the junkbunny reasoning, with wise reasoning. It is up to junkbunny to figure out with Gods help whether it is true or not.

Interesting to know how would you discipline wayward kids, I suppose you would show them your sentences and say look READ THIS.

Naughty kids: NOOO not capital letters HELPPP, we won't steal again willie , just keep away your ghastly writings from us, don't torture us with these headaches and manupilative sentences. :icon_joker:

May His WORDS speak to YOU and I, ...as well as help our sister Junkbunny AND her friend..

Yes lets all pray for her and not let our own arguments side track us from the person who needs our prayers, junkbunny.

ps what does this sign, that you keep whacking people with mean?

It would seem that Junkbunny is in a battle.  It is perfectly alright, and infact WISE to make an organised retreat, recover, regroup, and then re-engage when you are fit to do so.

There is no victory in wearing yourself thin needlessly in a fight, on drained supplies, when you could be a good soldier and get rearmed, and reinforced first.

Jesus is a great captain!  Not a commissar...

"Forward you dogs!  Retreat and I'll shoot you for lack of faith in the Almighty Czar!"

"But I need to regroup, I'm almost out of ammo!"

"Then use your shoe lace and strangle the enemy! Forward or die!  Let your faith in the cause of the Czar carry you to triumph!"

Does that sound like Jesus?  The one who knows we are but dust?  He gives us his strength, but he also gives us his wisdom, his peace, and his rest...we aren't God himself, we need time to rest, even Jesus took a break to pray alone, and as far as YEC is concerned even God the Father himself took a sabbath on the seventh day!

It isn't wise to tempt yourself, or to put yourself purposefully in tempting situations.  Only a fool would go out and try to minister the Gospel in a strip club, or on the set of a porn movie - so why is it different to let a person abuse you in your own home?  It is not.

If Junkbunny is not affecting her friend, she needs to be sure she doesn't let herself get 'infected' by the issues this girl is bringing into her household.  God doesn't give us strength as a license to invite darkness to battle - that is spiritual pride to do so!  He gives us strength to fight it when it crosses our path in daily life.

Junkbunny; if you need a break...take it.  It is your God given right to have a sabbath.

As thinktank, and others have wisely said, in essence.  If you have lost strength, and after prayer, and seeking the will of God - if you haven't gotten the grace, she needs to leave for a bit so you can recuperate, rest, and be at peace for a while.

If He orders you to go, that is God's doing, and that is a different matter.

But it is foolishness to go under any other unction other than the clear command of God our Captain.  For many Christians, it would be a bit like being a compulsive over-eater and sweet-tooth going to an all you can eat cookie buffet...

I think there is a truth to that but I don't belive it is that simple, otherwise God would command or cause the murdering.

Luke 16

17Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

God woes himself if he is the one behind the offence.

I try to think of it like this;

God is writing a story - we are ink.  Though we flow freely from the pen, and flow freely on the paper however it may wish to flow - God is the one who directs the pen and writes the letters that we the ink constitute.

In a zoomed in perspective, one driplette of ink might flow upward on the drawn line, and another might flow downward as soon as they hit the paper...But the direction of the penstroke is still steady as it goes, beneath the fingers of God as he writes out his will, writing the story of his Creation and Plan.

He is the Author of our faith, after all.

I have stayed out of this conversation mainly because my advice can sound wishy washy but here goes.  There have been times in my life that ministering to certain people would have sucked me into a situation I wasn't prepared to handle.  I didn't have the tools.  All I could do is love from a distance.  When you fight a battle you had better have the full armor of God on.  If you are still a babe in Christ it's easy to get your hat handed to you.  It's easy to be influenced rather than influence.

With that said, if you feel equiped, steadfast and lead by the Holy Spirit to minister then by all means do so.  We are called to love the least of these.  We are called to be the hands of God in these situations.

Only Junkbunny can know where she is in this situation.

willieH: Hi Tank...  :cloud9:

I have yet to answer your last post (I prepared an answer and it got lost -- had a computer glitch  :sigh:),  but I will... in the mean time, a response to this one...

Concerning the topic and Junkbunny... it is RELEVANT that she know that whatever is done by her in this, as well as any advice given (good or bad), is INTENDED to be so...

Nothing within and amidst the Creation of ALMIGHTY YHVH is accidental or "coincidental"...

ALL THINGS are ordered to occur and HAVE OCCURED as DECLARED by Him (His WORD), before they became manifest -- Isaiah 46:10 -- "things --- NOT YET DONE" includes ...EVERYTHING that has eventually been "DONE"...  :dontknow:  (including Junkbunny's actions or inactions, after reading the input offered her, by the membership @ TM)

You quoted me saying:

Quote from: thinktank on October 11, 2010, 06:27:28 AMI think there is a truth to that but I don't belive it is that simple, otherwise God would command or cause the murdering.

Oh, but indeed it IS "that simple", Tank...

FIRST --- It all comes down to your understanding of what is actually happening in this life... and within the Creation of YHVH...

It is likely thought by you (as it is VERY common "christian" thinking, ...and please forgive me if this assumption is NOT your position), that there was a "fall" by Adam, which was not intended to "occur"...  This is beginning with a false foundation of confusion... and therefore the conclusions that arise from this foundation, follows after and is built upon this "false thinking"...

Subsequently, those who adopt this premise as ..."THE foundation of Man, which started with an UNORDERED beginning"... are not prepared to accept the SOVEREIGNTY of GOD... I won't go into this, as it becomes an arguement which the staff and owner of Tentmaker do not allow... However... this verse is evident and verified elsewhere, that GOD is involved in ALL THINGS, and is the MAKER of ALL THINGS that are "made" -- John 1:3 -- for HE is putting ALL THINGS below the feet of CHRIST -- 1 Cor 15:27-28

Also, YHVH, is Creator of ALL THINGS... so there is nothing that is exempt from His touch nor from His WORD... as NO "THING" (nothing) "creates" itself.  :dontknow:

SECOND --- God is the Creator of ALL THINGS... "Murder" is only possible, because the concept of DEATH, emerges from HIS KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL, which is ONE KNOWLEDGE, containing both LIFE and DEATH... and which "knowledge" is being REVEALED by the WORD of YHVH which is the MAKER of ALL THINGS, and IN WHICH ...ALL THINGS... exist...

This does not DISINCLUDE death and all causes of it.

THIRD --- You will likely not accept this, ... but The KNOWLEDGE of Good AND Evil is a LIVING KNOWLEDGE... which is being MANIFEST by YHVH through and TO, His --- LIVING --- Children who are amidst YHVH's REVELATION of the KNOWLEDGE, via their lives on earth and within the Divinely ORDERED History of MAN...

Most "christians" think that God ..."allows" evil to be manifest... this could not be further from truth!  :pitiful:

GOD intends ALL FORMS of, and in fact, the FULLNESS of EVIL to be manifest, which is WHY He (being present everywhere and IN all things, also KNOWING what will occur, before it OCCURS)... orders each manifestation of EVIL to be REVEALED, yet does NOTHING to prevent it from occuring.

He is the Creator (emergent point) of EVIL -- Isaiah 45:7 -- and the KNOWLEDGE of IT, exists in its COMPLETENESS -- WITHIN Him as A side of this "ONE KNOWLEDGE"... which is and shall be TEMPORAL, but which shall EVER remain a "KNOWLEDGE" (report -- even though manifestations of it shall FOEVER CEASE), as a testimony to the GLORY of YHVH GOD who is LOVE and GOOD -- 1 John 1:8 -- Mark 10:18 -- Luke 18:19

The OPPOSITE of EVIL [GOOD] is also being displayed on Earth, by the (actual) LIFE of CHRIST, as well as all manifestations of CHRIST, found in ALL works which HE DOES, in and through His followers -- 1 Cor 3:11-13 -- Gal 2:20 -- which shall ABIDE FOREVER.

Quote from: thinktank on October 11, 2010, 06:27:28 AMLuke 16

17Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

God woes himself if he is the one behind the offence.

This conclusion fails on a number of levels...

FIRST --- that GOD is creator of the OFFENDER, means that NO OFFENSE could occur without HIM "creating" the one which would eventually OFFEND.  Which further reveals, that He INTENDED (by creating the OFFENDERS), that OFFENSES would arise.

SECOND --- OFFENSES are defined by the ETERNAL LAW of GOD, prior to any being committed --- His LAW says "thou shalt NOT KILL" which means that KILLING is defined by the LAW as unacceptable and an OFFENSE, even before it was ever performed.  CAIN was brought forth, with the LAW already a factor, as well as the FOREKNOWLEDGE of his deed (even though unmanifest), already in place. Which again further reveals the INTENTION that the OFFENSE take place.

THIRD --- The "knowledge" of Good and Evil is AWARENESS of what ONE is, as COMPARED to the OTHER.  Without "OFFENSES" actually taking place... the portion of the KNOWLEDGE which is EVIL, is thereby held in silence and UNMANIFEST... and therefore UNKNOWN by any entity, other than YHVH... Also in that UNMANIFESTATION, holding the KNOWLEDGE of "GOOD" at bay, as well as the GLORY contained within it.

Understanding lies BENEATH the surface, bro... OFFENSES are intended to come... which bring into play, the LIVING PRINCIPLE of "sowing and reaping"... "WOE" IS contained in sowing of evil... and within the offenses that those "sowings" produce...

God is the creator of:

(1) -- ALL premises (or resulting conditions) for example -- murder -- which occurs and is manifest in many different ways (poisoning, assault, shootings, etc.), enacted from the basis of many different motives (greed, lust, betrayal, revenge, etc.),  ALL which result in "WOE" for both the "murderer" and the "murdered"... as well as all concerned friends, family, etc... surrounding the two.  ALL of which is FOREKNOWN by YHVH... prior to the event.

(2) -- any person or persons which then, manifest offenses (by disobedience to Holy standards, which "disobediences" are FOREKNOWN by YHVH before they occur) which results in "WOE" occuring.

This cannot be UNINTENDED, for YHVH is the emergent point, and revealing of:

(3) -- all degrees (pain, suffering, strife, etc.) of "WOE" which are experienced by MEN enabling their manifestation... by not only the participants of the manifestation, but the peripheral persons to those participants as well.

This is ALL manifest, with Divine FOREKNOWLEDGE that each "WOE" SHALL occur as already KNOWN in the HEART of the Creator, BEFORE the participants exist OR become involved in the actual manifestation of the "WOE"...

Because it is already KNOWN in the Heart of the Creator, and then manifests as it IS already, KNOWN... means that the Creator is the emergent POINT of ALL THINGS, and is WORKING ALL THINGS, due to HIS Foreknowledge which contains the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL... which is IN manifestation as we speak, and shall CONTINUE, ...until it is COMPLETE.

Junkbunny, remember the truth - you aren't a puppet on the strings of a divine manipulator.

Your times are in his gentle hands, you are a lamb to graze in the fields where he leads his flock.  He won't condemn you if you don't want to be near this girl anymore, or if you don't have the strength to continue the fight.  Have peace in knowing that.

*hugs*  I will pray for you.

Heavenly Father, kindly shepherd.  You who does not force our head into the grass, or yank our limbs like puppets under tyranny; you who instead takes us from pasture to pasture, and brook to brook - clean and green, you who chastens us under your yoke which is light, I ask you Father of mine, and Father of this daughter of yours that you would give her your guidance, and your guidance alone.  Rise up in her through yourself - The Holy Spirit, your power and your peace, fill her with your presence, and let peace over flow in her heart, and her mind, and her circumstances, open doors, and give her abundant resources to have and enjoy her life in your will.

I ask Father, that you would be with her, and that you would make it perfectly clear what she is to do, what your will is, how to do it, and how to be joyful in the midst of doing so.

Bless her with abundance, happiness, peace, tranquility, and rejoicing, let her cup of Life run over, and bless others.

I ask Father that you would give her the grace, and strength to be a good influence on her friend, and that what ever seeds she has already planted - that you would water those seeds with yourself, The Living Water, and that these seeds would bear age-lasting, deathless fruit in both of their lives.

I ask Father that you would forgive these daughters of their sins, and that you would fill their dead or dying areas with Life, and bring them to fertile lands, clean, and beautiful.

I ask Father, that you would work in the life, and circumstances of Junkbunny, and her friend, and help them to be the best that they can be.

I ask Father, that you would remind Junkbunny, that she is not junk, and she is not a bunny...Remind her that she is a beautiful daughter, a princess in your court, a priestess, and a queen, to be glorified in the resurrection, and that even now she is a temple lovingly, and carefully made - not to suffer, not to struggle, not to fight, not to be in constant war, not to sacrifice herself by working to death, or fighting to death, not to wear herself out!

...But to be at rest, at peace, to be creative, to be cherished, to be appreciated, to be loved, and to be blessed in all that she does, and that she is loved by you - and to have the Mind of Christ, which is wiser than Solomon himself.

I ask also Father, that you would bring peace of mind, and an end to confusion in her, and her friend.

In Jesus' name I break the darkness over her house, and I demand that demons, and powers of negative living, and hatefulness to the body be gone - I command them in the name of Christ to flee; I ask Father that you would stamp this command, and edict of exorcism with your power, authority, and will in your Name, and Omnipotence.

In Jesus' name I shatter the chains that are upon the girl, and upon her friend.

I ask Father that you would see these things be done.  For your glory and greatness!  I remind you Father that your word says that you are the Healer, The Life!  Give them Life, and Freedom - you promised them freedom, freedom knows nothing of bondage!  Even bondage to guilt, shame, confusion, or even bondage to the ideal of sacrifice.

All things are to be done for good reasons, out of Love, and genuineness, not out of pressure to perform.

O' my beautiful Father, bless that house, and replace the cloud of darkness with your shekinah glory!  Lead her as a pillar of life giving flame that consumes not the bush, or grass, or flowers - in her dark times, and as a pillar of glistening, holy cloud in the noons of her sunny days.

Be with her, and her friend always.

In Jesus' name I pray, and amen.

Also Father...I ask that from now on, threads were people ask for help would no longer be turned into battle grounds for sharp tongued war-mongering over individual's mortal ideas of doctrines!  Yet I ask forgiveness for myself, and others, and another for our own hypocrisy in this.

In Jesus' name - Amen.

God bless you lefein, bless your humble servant Jesus, add faith and your peoples faith here to his prayer and bring the power of Jesus into that house and bring transforming power, in the name of YAHushua. Amen

willieH: Hi Junkbunny...  :cloud9:

Just want you to know that you are in NO WAY a "Puppet" or "Robot" because ALMIGHTY GOD is ordering your steps -- Prov 20:24 -- Jer 10:23 --- Prov 16:9 -- Prov 21:1 -- No more than the hands, feet, eyes, etc of your own body, ...are "puppets or robots" in your body... enslaved by your WILL...  On the contrary... the body works together, and the members SERVE one another... with the HEAD in charge...

CHRIST is our HEAD... and we follow the pathways that the WORD ordered in TOTALITY (end to beginning, then manifest according to that WORD, beginning to end), before any man took his first step -- Isaiah 46:10 -- For CHRIST is the ALPHA and OMEGA... the end and beginning are one and the SAME...

Trust in Him that whatever your heart decides has already been noted by Him, for He cares for you AND your friend... both of whom are destined CHILDREN of the MOST HIGH!

It is an HONOR to have Him in EVERY AREA of our lives, as our administrator... and if we TRUST that He is placing before us, the pathway we walk, we shall know Him all the more, as concerned for our every step, with PURPOSE for GOOD, concerning ALL within the combined walks of men... as HE has ordered, and manifests the moldings of each of us, as DONE by Him, not us... for HE is WORKING ALL THINGS according to HIS WILL -- Eph 1:11

So please dear sister, be confident in Him... and find sweet compassion for your friend, as you help her deal with the SIN in her life... Open doorways of communication with her, so she shall know your heart, just as did the Savior, and as did His true followers as well...  :friendstu:

:Peace:

Thanks for the encouragements dear sister...  :boyheart:  ...you have this very same quality yourself!  May Father YHVH be honored and blessed in all we do (even though we really do not "KNOW" what we "do" as JESUS truthfully said)... for when the temporal, merges into its ETERNAL conclusion, ALL GLORY is HIS, for He has, by HIS WORK, decided us all...  :grouppray:

I love reading your posts as well sister C... God uses us all as members of His Body, to serve and edify one another within His doings, within us...  :HeartThrob:

btw... don't I still "owe you" some of our music?  I can't remember?   :JCThink: (I forget to send it sometimes... if I didn't and you don't mind, I'll just email you some MP3 files of a few of our original tunes which we recorded in our home studio -- let me know! -- Also, we are talking about doing "Dreamin" as part of our live performance list!)
