Some things more closely resembling that mark are in use for a few years now.
A microchip the size of a grain of rice inplanted in the right had.
An experiment of a bar/club. Nothing forced upon anyone. But about 300 people, IIRC, took that chip because it was easy. No more ID needed. No more cash.

Sigh . . . walking in the spirit for me means (among other things)  not to be taken in by the natural inventions of men.  The mark of the beast is not about implants or tattoos, computers or scanners . . .it's about the imprint of the nature of man . . .carnality. 

God isn't going to reject me for having a little medicine applicator floating around in this body of flesh.

Absolutely . . .I agree with the video . . .and I think the fact that the rabbi of today still do those things is also still missing the symbolism in that we're not to actually wear passages of Scripture and tape them to our heads and hands, but that it's instead a picture of a renewed mind (head) and finished works (hands).

the crown of thorns . .same thing . . .thorns represent cursedness and a crown worn upon one's head depicts the mind . . .Jesus took upon himself the curse of the mind . . .and he reversed it . . .which is the symoblism of Noah's ark literally coming to REST on Mt. Ararat.  Ararat meaning the curse is reversed.

It's all intended just as the guy said in the video, it's all intended to be taken symbolically and the keys to those symbols are all through Scripture .  .and it's our relationship with the Father (not so much all the intense studying) that reveals the true intentions of those keys that unlocks the understanding that sets men free.
