Ever been banned from a forum?

People who become moderators on internet forums get some kinda power trip mentality.

They delete a lot of posts on the bibletruths forums. They editted a post where I posted a link to this site. They say Ray's teachings only!

I can see the administration on this forum is one of the most open and rational I've seen. Kudos to you guys!

I've been banned from forums but usually I brought it upon myself.

I only defend bible truths in the light that if you read everything pertaining to rules of the forum you are basically limited to discussing only that which is associated with Rays main website.  The assumption and rightly so is that you understand those rules when you ask for an account.

I think Ray has many articles that are scripturally sound, but he is still a man and I intentionally asked that my account be removed from that forum because too many people place him as the final authority.

There is not much wiggle room, if you offer something that appears to show Ray is not quite right, they quote Rays articles and are done with you.

It is just one of my pet peeves when a discussion with someone involves mostly just copy and pasting Rays work continually in a forum thread so I found no real benefit to my life there that could not be obtained by referring to Rays articles when studying.

This is not a statement against bible truths, only my encounters with them, people have the right to operate a site as they see fit.
