1 - Then one of the seven angels who had the seven (concurrent?) bowls came and said to me, ?Come, I?ll show you the {meanwhile} judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of earth have committed fornication.? {I.e, powers and politicians are in bed with her.} ?And the dwellers upon Earth, have become drunk with the wine of her indecencies.? 3 And then he carried me (John) away in the Spirit to a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of insulting slanders, and it had seven heads and ten horns. {A many headed geopolitical beast, Dan.7:7,19.} 4 The woman {riding the beast} was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup (to drink) full of abominations and impurities. {Drinking her effects and side effects.} 5 And on her forehead was written a name, ?Mystery Babylon the Great, Mother of Prostitution/Sex Slavery [porn? - probably from pern?mi - to export for sale] and of all Earth's Abominations [bd?lygma - from bdel?ssō, derived from bdēō, to reek {stink to high heaven ..as the saying goes} abhorrent, detestable]?. {$ity Babylon with it?s bright but garish streets and dark alleys, with a forehead/psyche/mind of ?mystery babble? - all confusion. Beast & $ity, Socialism & Capitalism both gone extreme. Oligarchy, but which ends up going all armageddon at each other(? in the valley when assembled against Israel? Just a recurring question. Yet verses 12 and 16 for sure.}
     6 And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of saints, and of martyrs, and of Jesus.? And when I saw her I wondered greatly. 7 But the angel said, ?Why do you wonder? ..I?ll tell you the mystery of the woman ($ity) and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her. 8 The beast you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the abyss? {of potential, which imperfect is} ?and goes to destruction.? {History repeats, first was the Roman Empire later ?Holy? Roman Empire; then a modern last days ?was, wasn?t then was again? after the 13:13 event. Which event was carried out by an oFFice.} And those upon earth whose names are not {yet} written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder, seeing the beast that was, and is not, and will be {and will become biG, finally given breath?/life/authority especially when one from the 13:13 office lawlessly steps in}. 9 This all calls for a mind with wisdom.
     The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated. {Empires?} 10 They are also seven kings, five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while.?
     {Note - Prophecy repeats -> ?smaller? scope to ?> full scope at culmination of history. Spiritually Babel Tower restored, all hell breaks loose, but slowly from our point of view, at least until the ?cresting? and culmination? Jn.15:4,5 ?I am the vine, ye are the branches, abide in Me.?}

                17:11-18
(The angel continues.) 11 - ?As for the beast that was and is not, it?s an eighth but it belongs to the seven {final fulfillment, seven become one?} and it goes to destruction. 12 And the ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings - for one hour - together with the beast{/entity/institution}. {Ten horns, kings, seats, divisions, toes-Dn2.} 13 These (ten) are - of one mind - and they hand over their power and authority TO the beast. 14 They will make war against the Lamb (Ps.2, Rev.6:3-4) and the Lamb will prevail [nika? - prevail, subdue, overcome, conquer, from nikē - victory] for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.?
     15 And the angel said to me, ?The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.16 And the ten horns and the beast {political} will hate the prostitute {$ity Babble}. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour {consume, waste} her and will burn her with fire {warfare}17 for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.?

Here?s an interesting thing! The three mentions of lake of fire, are at very large, fiery, earthly events. At armageddon battle, which logically is what Mt.13:30 is referring to? At the fiery, final defeat of the adversary, Rev.20:7-10.
   And ?at the regeneration? greek is basically ?palin/again-genesis? - At the regenesis which-! the translators changed - behold! I make all new, into all things new. Also in Eph.1:10 - all of heaven and earth gathered into Jesus, and Jn.13:3 - the Father has put all in the Son?s hand, and more whenever it would work. Not in 2Tim.3:16 - all scripture for training, or 1Cor.15:28 - that God be all in all. But is the same word - pas.

I got sidetracked.. the fiery oven, the crucible.. surely(?) is life as we presently know it? This imperfection/entropy.. A slow burn/fading away/slow gehenna..? The sieve that separates the chaff from off the wheat. The dis-ease as part of the cure? And immunity.. Imperfection being like a compost pile, its fading is a heating up.. Pluck the leaf from the tree, it burns away.. disintegration, corruption, a one way street. Like the angels that strayed, locked into darkness.. cannot change course. God being Life and - is perfect, quote - means imperfect can never work. Only God is non entropic. But! if there?d been no option to stray in Eden, creation would be a mere ant farm? And if not allowed to run its course, what would be the point? The culmination puts the pieces of the puzzle together?
  God?s wrath/passion being cause and effect.
    See how - all of heaven and earth - are taking this unavoidable journey through this all important contrast all together at once..
    Let us - Father and Son - make mankind in our image - they?re not done yet? How do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact?

                    18:1-8
1 - After this I (John) saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, for the earth was made bright with his glory. 2 And he called out with a mighty voice, ?Fallen! Fallen! is Babylon the great! ?She? who became a dwelling place for demons! A haunt for every unclean spirit, every unclean bird, for every unclean and detestable beast. {Spirits like, and act like, unclean birds/vultures and detestable beasts.} 3 For all nations have drank the {unclean} wine of the passion [orge - passion, translated often as wrath] {so includes consequences?} of her sexual vices.
     The kings {leaders} of earth {are in bed with} have committed immorality with her. And the merchants of earth have grown rich from the power [dunamis - power, strength, ability, might, miracle, dynamic] of ?her? indulgent and wanton/loose living.?
     4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, ?Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, and thus share in her plagues. 5 For her sins are heaped high as heaven {?she? shakes her fist at heaven?} and God has remembered her iniquities [adik?ma - wrongdoings, injustices, offenses]. 6 Pay to her as she has paid to others, and repay her double for her deeds, mix a double portion for her in the cup - she - mixed. 7 As she glorified [doxaz? - bestowed glory, honored, praised] herself and lived in indulgence and wantoness, so give her its torment and mourning. Because in the heart of herself she says, ?I am a queen, not a widow, and mourning I shall not see.? 8 For this reason her plagues [pl?g? - plagues, wounds, afflictions, blows] will come in a day, death, mourning, famine. And she will be destroyed by fire, for mighty is the LORD God who judges her.? {Only Good and True can stand, and endure.}

9 - And the kings of earth, who committed sexual immorality {were in bed with ?her?} and lived in luxury with her, will weep and mourn when they see the smoke of her {$ity Babylon upon the seven continents/hills} burning. 10 They will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and will say, ?Alas! Alas! That great city, that mighty city, Babylon! For in one hour your judgment comes.?
     11 And the merchants of earth will weep and mourn for her. For no one buys their cargo anymore, 12 products of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen and silk and scarlet cloths, all fragrant woods, and articles of ivory, and fine wood, bronze, iron and marble, 13 cinnamon, spice, incense, perfumes and ointments, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, slaves, and human souls [psuche - soul, life, self, inner being] {human beings}. 14 ?And the ripe fruit of you and the delicacies for which you lusted/longed for have gone from you. All your sumptuous splendors are lost and will not be found again.? [Ripe fruit - op?ra - harvest, late summer, autumn.]
     15 The merchants of these things, who grew wealthy from her (the $ity) will stand far off, in fear of her torment, loudly weeping and mourning, 16 ?Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, with jewels, and with pearls! 17 For in a single hour all that wealth has been laid waste.?
     And all shipmasters and seafaring men/traders, sailors and all whose - trade is on the sea - {in the past much more was done by sea} stood far off 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, ?What city was like the great city?!? 19 And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, ?Alas, alas, for the great city - where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her costliness! For in one hour is she has laid waste.
20 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God, for you, has given judgment against her!? {As you have done so shall it fall upon you.. reaping what you sow..}
     21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, ?So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more, 22 and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will be no longer be heard in you, and no craftsman of any craft will be found - in you - any more, no more sound of the mill, will be heard in you. 23 The light of a lamp will not shine in you any more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you any more, for her merchants were the great ones of earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery [pharmakeia - sorcery, witchcraft, magic, enchantment, spells, deception, corruption, beguilement]. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of - all - who have been slain upon earth.? {Empire.}

The smoke from her goes up forever and ever.? {Considering Revelation 21:5, this must be her smoke rising forever in the memories of all. As where else? Considering also, 2Pet.3:12-13. Hallelujah! The proof straying/imperfection can never work, it being corruption/entropy, the ?worm? that never quits/does not reverse.}
     4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated upon the throne, saying, ?Amen. Hallelujah!? 5 And from the throne came a voice saying, ?Praise our God, all you his servants, all who revere him, small and great.?

19:9-16
9 - And the angel said to me (disciple John, seeing the vision in his old age while in an island prison) ?Write this - Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb!!? {Mt.25:1-13! In the parable of the ten bridesmaids, the door is to serving, called reigning (for logical reason) during the Lord?s long second advent. The door is to the wedding banquet/reception/supper. And the catching away of dead and alive believers - aka the resurrection, called the first (partial collective, eschatological) resurrection, is the wedding, the union.
     ?The door? closes to ?the? millennium - noT to Life, closed forever. The door is to the wedding supper/banquet/reception and what comes after, up to the second, rest of humanity, eschatological vivification (Rev.21:5, the word ?things? was/is inserted). This vivification is not simultaneous with its partner resurrection, but between the second resurrection and the second vivification is the GWT judgment ?day?. And to ?rise into the judgment? (?day?) Jn.5:29, is to rise ?still in ones sins? (not yet perfected). The judgment is the  GWT judgment ?day?, elsewhere called an aion-ion kolasis (correction, with logical, INITIAL inner torment for some (few? comparatively speaking that is) aka, the condition of misery, being in the inner, outside of the light, darkness ..with gnashing of teeth.. think, for example, of a heartless and cruel despot, rising into the judgment radiance. But Jesus said he ?will draw all? - Jn.12:32, so this tormented from within condition will progress to weeping, beating self up.. with many stripes.. And finally to heart and gut wrenching remorse - as he reviews the faces of those he so hurt and harmed, even killed. Think of a modern day child trafficker, where the child goes no one knows.
     But finally, after a while (purgatory flames are psychological) coming to realize ..God, loving Presence/Spirit (Holy Ghost all loving) and mercy.. ?Christ Crucified?.. the remedy God instituted, it being strong enough to appease every conscience, even the worst. The initial condition of some is also portrayed in the outside of the vision narrative of Rev.22.}
    And the angel said to me, ?These are the true words of God!? 10 And I fell at his feet {overwhelmed?} to worship him, but he said, ?Don?t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit  of prophecy?. {Meaning it?s all worked out? All laid out.. We just need to be told/shown about it ..and follow, aka, conform. ..To our own, individual, highest blueprint. But it is not, as they say ?all about me?. Not by a longshot, Lol!}
     11 Then I saw heaven opened, and look! There was a white horse! {The gospel, the Truth, which rode forth ?openly victorious over powers and principalities?. Led to the Magna Charter, the Constitution.. individual rights and freedom. Nuclear family culture, some stability for a while..}
     And the one sitting upon the white horse is called ?Faithful and True?. In righteousness he judges and makes war {rescues, vindicates, works justice}. 12 His eyes are like flames of fire (penetrate) and upon his head are many crowns. He has a name written that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe that was dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word/Message of God. {Master blueprint and plan. Embodiment of Truth.} 14 And the armies oF heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 From his mouth comes a sharp sWord (Truth!) with which to strike down the nations, and he will shepherd them (the nations/this is obviously future) with a rod (measuring rod) of iron (i.e. is un-breakable - truth cannot be broken, or done away with). He treads the winepress of the fury [thumos - from thuo - to rush {7 thunders? Well, six..} or to breathe hard] of the wrath [org? - passion, wrath, indignation, a settled and abiding condition of mind with a view to justice {scales! Having ?subjected and consigned all to disobedience? Romans 11:32. Supersized the option to stray in Eden so ?all of heaven and of earth? take this unavoidable journey through this all important contrast, all together at once.} 18 ?Come to eat the flesh of kings, of captains, of mighty men, of horses and their riders, and of all, both free and slave, both small and great.? {The final war is totally mankind done.      21 And the rest were slain by the sWord {truth, the iron rod/unbreakable measure} that came from the mouth of he who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged. {Symbolic imagery, aka, build a house on Truth, it endures. Build using unTruth (or guile) and like being built on sand, there?s crashing and fiery apocalypse. It?s what dog eat dog/every self first, does. There are two things that can simply never (ever) work, (1) straying from God who iS Life - logic, yes? To stray from Life, not good. And he ?is perfect, so (2) imperfection, logically, is the opposite of Life. And history has - already - proven that (straying and) imperfect is an ?abyss? of potential. And logically is entropy, the ?worm that doesn?t quit? and the ?fire?/slow burn/slow fade/slow gehenna ?that cannot be put out? - entropy does not reverse. But you think we humans are inherently immortal? Death is nothing more than another form of life and living? Well that idea/myth was needed for the - extremely ancient - crowd controlling spiritual propaganda myth of afterlife torment.. We will ?put on immortality? at one of TWO vivifications - because - we will ?put on perfection/incorruptibility?. Clue, the second vivification is not simultaneous with its partner ?resurrection?.}

                    20:1-6

1 - Then I (John) saw an angel descending from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the abyss and a great chain. 2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years {God has been permissive?} 3 and threw him into the abyss {imperfection/straying/going rogue is an abyss of potential} and shut it and sealed it over him, so he cannot deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years are over. After that he must be released for a little while. {For the first half of an ?8th? millennium.. According to the pattern of the Fall holy days, Leviticus 23.}
     4 Then I saw thrones [thronos - seats of authority]. And given judgment were those seated upon them. Also I saw the souls of those beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the message of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not taken its mark upon their foreheads or upon their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years are completed. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed [makarios - blessed, happy, fortunate] and holy [hagios - holy, sacred, set apart] are those who have a part {& role?} in the first resurrection! 20:7-10
7 - And when ?the? thousand years are ended, Satan will be released 8 and he will come out to mislead the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog {these are, logically, descendants of mortal survivors of the (man done) apocalypse} and he gathers them for battle. Their number is like the sand at the seashore. 9 And they marched up over all the broad plain of earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. {Do we imagine this takes but a moment or two..?} But - fire - came from the heavens and consumed them. 10 And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur (second mention of lake of fire) where also the beast and false prophet {were thrown} and (are) tormented day and night - to - the ages of the ages.

11 - Then I saw a great white throne (GWT) and he who was seated upon it. And from his face the earth and heavens fled away. {Much, much earlier, before doing any act of creation, he could see all possibilities like a floating blanket of clouds stretched out before his face, full circle around him. I saw this in prayer -n- study many years ago, the beginning of insights which came sort of, like ?bams!?.} 11- A great white throne (GWT) and he who sits upon it. And from his face, earth and heavens fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne. Books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead [nekros - dead, deceased] were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.
     13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, death and hades [?place of the dead?] {the grave, state of being gone} gave up the dead which were in them and they were judged, each one, according to what they had done. {Same as we were and are judged now. Logic, since ?God does the choosing? and not us, and not because we are better, or worse, or any smarter, than any others. It?s just roles to play in this alternate reality from God?s blueprint - ?all the world is a stage?.. (Shakespeare) - proving to one and all, and all together at once, that He is Life, there is no choice. It?s his way or no way. The (measuring) rod - oF Iron. Sorry! The Law of Life cannot be broken! Almost done with this study! ..I think.. I did start at the beginning? I?ll have to check.. The prophetic vision, about Earth events, seems to start at Revelation six. Which makes sense since six is the, quote, number of man.

21:10-22 ~
10 - And he (an angel) carried me (John) in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down from heaven, from God. 11 It was radiant with the glory of God, like a stone most precious, like jasper, and clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall of twelve gates, with twelve angels at the gates. And on them were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. (All believers are ?grafted INTO Israel? Ro.11:17-26.) 13 There were three gates facing east, three facing north, three south and three west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold with which to measure the city, the gates and the walls. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. [Stadia - a greek measurement, stadium length, the length of a race course,  furlong which is an 8th of a mile - 12,000 stadia, between 1,300 to 1,400 miles?) 17 The angel measured the wall using human and angel measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick. 18 The wall was of jasper, the city of pure gold, and  pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were adorned with every kind of precious stone. The city had twelve foundations, each made of a precious stone, the first jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were of pearl, each gate made of a single pearl. I have written a lot on the subject of revelation over the years.  I don't write about it now, because my mind is continually putting pieces of it together as I discover more and it would require constant re-editing if I were to write about it on paper (or computer).  I couldn't have worked out much of it, had it not been for living in the age we are in though - I'll say that.

I reckon Mr Knoch of the Concordant commentary would have written a lot of things differently also, had he seen what is going on in our times.

Your interpretation is different from mines' in many ways... Knoch's is too. 

Reveal-ation. (Ongoing) of God in us ("in man You El") (Immanuel )(Truth/Christ in mankind (etc), so I don't believe any follower has a full understanding of it - seeing through a glass is still dimly. 
It's nice to share ideas though, (eventhough things are 'sealed' and 'hidden' for a reason often (and one shouldn't throw pearls to pigs)). but maybe something someone says will click with someone else and broaden their understanding, but when it comes to such subjects; I prefer to chat to someone one on one, because I think it's good to let people answer their own questions and deal with one thing at a time. - It's a lot to digest.
Most people aren't even aware it is a chiastic scroll (and that within the scroll), and can't see the 'flow' of events correctly in it as a result, and have no idea of the times they are currently living in and what is on the near horizon. - Most are already branding a 'mark' of the world's system unawares; being governed by the world instead of governing themselves and heeding man's (so called) 'law' which is no law (Who has the lawful right to block out the sun?); rather than God's.  Dark days indeed.  Apostacy indeed.

Hi! Totally missed this post! When I was reading it, I was reminded of a thought I?ve had on my mind for a few days ..that the world has put on sheep?s clothing.. Sheep?s voice.
    I think the revelation vision is fascinating - as is all the scripture. And is written in a lot of riddles. (Things hidden in plain sight?) All the scripture, not just Revelation. It seems like when we understand a riddle it fits like interlocking puzzle pieces, and the Spirit builds upon it as time goes on. That?s a good way to test something I think. I think Father likes a good riddle..(?) And an inquisitive mind..?  :Chinscratch: Understanding - ?the end? the greek word (tel.. like telescope, a clue about prophecy) means the end-aim, helps to understand what God is doing, how he?s doing it, and also - most importantly? Why.
    The lion will eat straw like the ox! Isaiah 11:7, but first Isaiah 24:20, Rev.10:4 - can you believe those numbers? Ten four.. BUT! Of course, Ps.91,46,23 (Rev.7:15-17?)
    ..Apostasy, amen. Man has been - seated in the temple as god/highest power causing what was once called Christendom to - fall away. A - strong delusion - compliments of a - false prophet? who has many modern - miracles to mislead? And more to come..
   Also amen - lawlessness.. anthropos/mankind of lawlessness. Jonothan Cahn calls it the return of the old so called gods..
      ..Pre flood was hands off? Proof number one? Imperfrct is an abyss of potential? And because God is Life and - is Perfect, imperfect is entropy, the fire and worm that doesn?t quit?.. a slow gehenna crucible?

23 - On the east side (of the heavenly Jerusalem, that John saw come down to Earth) there were three gates, on the north side there were three gates, with three gates on the south side, and also on the west side. Instead of having part in serving upon GWT judgment ?day? will be learning and being corrected then, instead of having been corrected now.} 20 And he who testifies to these things says, ?Surely I am coming soon.?
