This is a study I?m doing through the Book of Revelation in a year, the scripture is 52 weekly readings and study. I paraphrase the verses a bit as last year I got accused of plagiarizing versions of the bible. :dontknow:
There?s keys I believe, that make the book easy, down to earth and logical. And understood it completes and rounds off the whole biblical message. Understanding what it is God is doing and how, and most importantly why, helps everyone to trust him more! And that is always the goal, yes?
I?m in the second week of the study. And there?s an intro.

About The Vision: Ladies and gentlemen take your seats..
And hold on to your seats! We are about to take the journey of all journeys. It?s the journey into Truth. Not many may care about Truth.. Let the blind lead the blind.. It ?aLL? comes out in the wash best and pure in the end! [Greek word tel, telos, the end-aim. We are zooming toward the target. In the spirit of the translators, all things come out best and pure in the ?end?. In the spirit of the Spirit/Presence of God - All come out best and pure.. Greek pas - all.]
Life as we presently know it, is the sieve. The crucible and laver. It?s the ?parable? of the decomposing ?apple? and its worm that simply cannot quit. God (surely?) is Life. And he ?is perfect? Mt.5:48, and 100% unfettered Genius.
And if there had been no option to stray in Eden??
In spirit this is where our story begins..
The man of lawlessness / the anthropoi of lawlessness / the mankind of lawlessness iS ?seated (as) in the temple as god?/highest power. ?Christendom haS ?fallen away?. The world iS following a ?false prophet? and yes this one has a prophecy. On the wing (pinnacle) of desolations of course will come the infamous and notorious triple six. But that?s down the road a ways.
Some keys/clues to get us started..
[#1] - the vision (scroll) is the ride and victory (Ps.2) of the white horse rider, the gospel 6:1-2
[#2] - the vision is told 3 times ? 6:1-2 to 11:19 - ch.12 a stand alone history and insert (but vs 17 needs Mt.23:39) - and 13:1 to 19:11. All 3 meet again at the seventh trumpet.
[#3] - the seals are described - at their first occurrence (ch.6) as their fuLL effects on planet Earth, first to very last, veiling what, especially seal 6 is and why Rev.7:1,3 (9,4)
[#4] - the Rev.13:13 event pinpoints an office, not (yet?) a person
[#5] - The ?false prophet? is not the 13:13 office but enabled the event/seal. Its ?strong delusion? of ?seating man in the temple as God?/highest power (man/anthropos, this too not yet? a man) caused western culture to ?fall away?. It has modern wonders, ?miracles to mislead? and of course a prophecy.
Apocalypse is the unveiling of Truth when our false beliefs and castles come falling down, both individual and collective. I think it is unavoidable as only Truth can endure and remain standing. All other foundations being sand.
I have written a lot on the subject of revelation over the years. I don't write about it now, because my mind is continually putting pieces of it together as I discover more and it would require constant re-editing if I were to write about it on paper (or computer). I couldn't have worked out much of it, had it not been for living in the age we are in though - I'll say that.
I reckon Mr Knoch of the Concordant commentary would have written a lot of things differently also, had he seen what is going on in our times.
Your interpretation is different from mines' in many ways... Knoch's is too.
Reveal-ation. (Ongoing) of God in us ("in man You El") (Immanuel )(Truth/Christ in mankind (etc), so I don't believe any follower has a full understanding of it - seeing through a glass is still dimly.
It's nice to share ideas though, (eventhough things are 'sealed' and 'hidden' for a reason often (and one shouldn't throw pearls to pigs)). but maybe something someone says will click with someone else and broaden their understanding, but when it comes to such subjects; I prefer to chat to someone one on one, because I think it's good to let people answer their own questions and deal with one thing at a time. - It's a lot to digest.
Most people aren't even aware it is a chiastic scroll (and that within the scroll), and can't see the 'flow' of events correctly in it as a result, and have no idea of the times they are currently living in and what is on the near horizon. - Most are already branding a 'mark' of the world's system unawares; being governed by the world instead of governing themselves and heeding man's (so called) 'law' which is no law (Who has the lawful right to block out the sun?); rather than God's. Dark days indeed. Apostacy indeed.
1 : 1 - 8
1 - This is the revelation of Jesus Christ - which God gave to him - in order for him (Lord Jesus) to show his servants ?what things when they happen, will happen in quickness?. {The believers remembered Jesus? words, Mt.24, Mk.13, Lk.21, and left Jerusalem before the somber day of Jerusalem?s razing by Rome in 70 CE. ?Smaller? scope version of the also possible full scope version at the culmination of history and life as we presently know it, this crucible, slow gehenna fading away, and sorry to verbalize it, but corruption, dissolution. Which is why ?God is savior of all? because entropy is a process that ?doesn?t quit?, the ?worm that doesn?t die?. THE - FiRe - that is not put out/quenched.} And Jesus sent it by his angel to his servant John. 2 Who is now bearing witness to the message of God, and to the life and works of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. (John talked about himself in this way also in his gospel account/recollection.) 3 Blessed/happy is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy [not everyone has a scripture scroll] and blessed are those who hear it and keep what is written in it. For the time is near.
4 John, to the seven churches that are in Asia ?
Grace to you and peace from he who is, and was, and is to come. And from the seven spirits (?seven angels of the churches?) who are before his throne. 5 And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn from death, and the {to be} ruler of kings upon earth. To he who loves us and has freed us from our sins [hamartia - missing the mark] by his blood {Life} 6 and has made us to be a kingdom. A kingdom of priests to his God and Father - to him be glory and dominion forever and ever! Amen! 7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and EVERY eye will see him {if not alive at his return, then upon GWT Judgment ?day?, great ?Day? 0f Review} and anyone who pricked/pierced him, and all tribes of earth will mourn because of him. Truly, amen.
8 ?I am the Alpha and the Omega,? says the LORD God, ?who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.? {Who forever was, and who forever shall be.}
The revelation vision is a piece of the Truth puzzle. It can help reveal what it is God is doing and how. And most importantly why.
A Paraphrased Study
1:9-20
9 - I, John, your brother, in tribulation and in the kingdom, and in the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the prison island called Patmos on account of the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet sounding 11 saying, ?Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches of Asia - Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.?
12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking, and I saw seven gold lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the lampstands was one like a Son of man, clothed in a long robe, with a gold sash around his chest. 14 The hairs of his head were white, like pure white wool, and pure snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, 15 and his feet were like polished bronze, glowing in a fiery furnace. His voice was like the voice of great waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sWord (?thy word is Truth? Jn.17:17). And you found them to be false. 3 You have had perseverance and have endured for my name's sake, and you haven?t grown weary. 4 But I have against you this, that you have abandoned your first love. 5 Call to mind from where you have fallen and turn and the first results do. (Nicolaitans mAy have began as a following of a christian in error, and their works/things they did and believed were scandalous and corrupt.)
7 Whoever has an ear let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. (Plural.) To the one who is victorious [nika? - to conquer, prevail, from n?kē - victory, properly, conquer, overcome, to carry off the victory, come off victorious] I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.??
..How do we come off victorious? I think there?s one rule, ?love God?. Draw near. Pursue Him. Did Jesus give us a ?formula for success? on the eve of his crucifixion? A spirituaL formula. The peaceful, joyful wine of God?s Spirit/Presence. And our daily bread, from the mouth of God, the New Testament (way) of our Lord.

8 - ?And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: ?The words of the first and the last, the oNe, who died and is alive. 9 I know your tribulation [thlipsis - oppression, affliction, tribulation, distress, straits, pressed/pressure faced] and your poverty - but you are rich - and the slander of those who say they are genuine and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. {Are a teaching of the adversary - we can tell pseudo truth by its fruit, key word here is slander?} 10 Don?t fear these things you suffer. Look, some of you will be tested when the devil casts some into prison. For ten days you will have {great?} tribulation.? {The last ten days will be an acceleration..? ?In the last hour? - there?s rev.17:12,16, the fall {crashing} of $ity Babylon that sits on seven continents/hills; the triple six is running; and the nations/unbelievers are being gathered to the final armageddon battle.. You?ve some there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the nation of Israel, so they would eat food {🤔meaning doctrine? which fits, the feasts portrayed the beliefs, teachings and doctrine} sacrificed to idols and to {thus?} practice sexual immorality. 15 So also you have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans [a commentary quote - often associated with moral laxity and idolatry, promoting a lifestyle that compromised with pagan practices.. People can't even see the chemicals being sprayed over their heads every day or care about what they have injected into them. - Blind trust in govern (control) ment(ality).
They can't see the poisons (WHICH ARE CLEARLY LABELLED) in the very foods they eat, and in the cosmetics they use, - from fake tans to lubricated razor-strips, from soaps to toothpastes. - A generation incapable of independent thought.
Nor can they perceive satanic symbolism EVERYWHERE; including on the very clothes they wear. - A blind generation which the Apostle Paul defines well, - oblivious to the 'deep things of satan'.
And the 'mainstream' (so-called):- 'church' is in an even worse state of course; being slaves of religious bondage (which is what the word: 'religion' means); - believing that love is eternal evil (infinite torture). - Thereby turning light to dark.

I always keep an open mind Marie and it's great to see people always seeking such as yourself.
It's just the whole: babylon (babble) thing for me... The waters are so dirtied now that it's hard to know what to believe (with regards to all the goings-ons with the 'world').
But with God - we can rest on the Rock of reality/normality and not man's (so-called):- 'new normal', or his 6uild 6ack 6etter rubbish that comes to nothing.

'Does cottage cheese contain lactose' the other day.
The first website said yes; it contains lots.
The second website said it contains none.
The third said it does contain a little, the fourth said it did not contain any - and on and on it went, and I still have no idea whether cottage cheese contains lactose or not!
If ('experts' (apparently)) can't decide on that; God only knows what is going on with complex matters such as rna/dna etc. :laugh:
I know a few people around me have feared that the 'injections' (and other things) might somehow alter people from human into something else. - Yet all souls are Gods' ultimately and only the material can be altered 'BY' the material.
'The abomination which creates desolation'... There is a massive rise in cancers and other illnesses and 'sudden deaths' (I hear)... But I'm not really seeing it on a personal level, -only online videos of people keeling over that could be 30 years old for all I know.
I'm glad we have The Rock to lean upon through these crazy times.

I personally heed every one of the warnings which Christs relates to the ecclessias... Just as Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of Israel; yet sensible outsiders wait for any scraps all the same.

:thumbsup: Amen!! Same here! And I agree the waters have been very muddied when it comes to prophecy, aNd salvation. :faint: I think we need to start over, wipe the slate clean. And as in Daniel.. understanding has been sealed/hidden/locked behind veils. After I post the next in Rev. I will post about the keys I think are needed.

I think bible prophecy is very much veiled (closed, sealed) which I guess is logical, because it days so in Daniel and the scroll - the Rev vision is sealed until the Lamb opens the seals.
Keys - ?
(1) I think the Lord went from ascension to Rev. chapter 5
(2) The vision is actually told 3 times:
6:1-2 to 11:19
chapter 12 as a stand alone insert, with Mt.23:39 with vs.17
and, 13:1 to 19:11
And then they all meet back up at the 7th trumpet (Apocalypse is all mankind?s doings, even the wrath which is the final fullblown consequences at the fullblown armageddon/gehenna fire). Straying/imperfection is an abyss of potential - Rev.9:3, the angel is metaphor, the smoke is not.
(3) The seals are hugely veiled, skewing the whole vision, by how they are described, as their full effects, first to very last.. thus portraying very late conditions, at the beginning of the vision. Case in point, the 6th seal is followed by 7:1,3 where we still are for now, but when interrupted somehow/in some way, a crises to consolidate power, will be followed by a world treaty/league that will alas be broken in the middle against Israel - LK.19:41,44. I believe this time upon the human temple(s) meant for God?s Spirit/Presence (whatever it is, it desolates). ?And happy the one/those waiting, and come to the day(s) 1,335. (Which is 45 days? With the last ten days escalating to the most critical? (This is the math problem of Daniel 12:11-12.)

And the 3 mentions of lake of fire are at huGe fiery events. So not a place! But events. 1. Armageddon when the Lord arrives. 2. at the fiery final defeat of the adversary aFter the thousand years/millennium. Its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him. (I think Jesus went from ascension to Revelation chapter five. And opening the seal, out rode forth into the new age - into the years of our Lord A.D. - the gospel, for a time openly victorious over powers and principalities ..and in response) 3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, ?Come!? 4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth (war, Ps.2) so that people should slay one another, and it was given a great sword. (More elements of the progressing age, after the riding forth of the gospel opened the age, and the response, wars, which will be given a great sword.) 5 - When he broke open the third seal on the scroll (of the vision) I heard the third living creature say, Come! 7 And when he broke open the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, Come! 8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And these two were given authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, famine and pestilence and by the beasts (wild governments?) of earth. (The pale rider of death through sword and pestilence, natural, biologic and, or chemical-which began use in WW1. Including the scourge of addictions.)

The sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood (red, reflecting red?). 13 And the stars of the sky fell to earth - like figs blown in a strong wind (how it appears upon earth when the earth is shaking, Is.24:20). 14 The sky parted like a scroll being rolled up. And every mountain, and every island, from its place was moved. 15 Then the kings of earth, the great ones, the generals and the rich and powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in caves (bunkers, and bomb shelters) and among the rocks of the mountains, 16 and they say to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one seated on the throne, and from the wrath [orgē - from the verb oragō - to teem, swell, and thus implies not a sudden outburst, but rather a controlled, passionate feeling, a settled indignation] of the Lamb, 17 for the great day of their wrath has come (imo, consequences/results, claimed by God because, after all(!) it was he who created a cause and effect universe). In chapter six we saw six of seven seals broken from off the scroll of the vision. And as each seal was broken, we saw more of the vision as the scroll was unrolled. Now here is a serious topic, which few, I think, are aware of. Though I did read an excellent article a few years back, which I?ll mention a little more in a minute. The seals, I think are veiled by a truly simple technique! Now think of the horses - the notorious - Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse - their rides continue throughout the latter age, the years of our Lord a.d./CE-is that a changing of times? A.D. to C.E.? I?m not saying it hasn?t happened before. And I would imagine the rides of the horses become gallops at the last hours?
It has been commonly thought the seals occur during the last seven years of man?s rule (and of imperfection?s rule). Perhaps the galloping occurs then.. well in the last 3.5 years somewhat(?) slowly escalating that is. (Considering as always, Dn.12:11-12 with Lk.19:41,44 and 1Cor.3:16. Now I ask you, in all seriousness, isn?t the answer to that math problem 45? With perhaps the last - ten days - Rev.2:10 - escalating into the most critical?) The seven years being two 3.5 periods - is a treaty. And a league. Or so says the original Hebrew word. A famous, much lauded treaty (Dn.12:11). But alas it will only last seven years, and be broken in the middle. But we were talking about the seals. How they are veiled. Have you noticed it? They are described, at the beginning of the vision, as their full and entire effects - first to very last - from the breaking open to the very last of its gallop. This veils the seals, skews the whole vision, and no wonder everyone thinks they?re crowded into seven years.. The 6th one is something really big. Bigger than the others.
Hang onto our seats? Literally. The article I mentioned, explained thermonuclear activity in the revelation vision. Rumbling.. thundering.. thermonuclear lightning,.. sky rolls.. hail. The higher and faster moisture rises, the greater the hail. The arc is seen split in heaven.. Stars fall LiKe figs blown by a great wind..
I think it is the mysterious seven thunders, and the so called wrath of God (cause and effect) and I think it concludes, at and as, Is.24:20 & Zech.14:4.
So in last weeks study we just saw that seal six had been opened.. men hid in caves (i.e. built bomb shelters.. There were drills, children told to hide under their desks.😳)

Amen! Rev.21.5, I recently realized how translators changed all, greek pas, into all things. When they could, like in the obvious second vivification of Rev.21:5 (1cor.15:22-24,28 W/ mt.13:33,key word 3) - we could prove UR/CU so easily, but there?s strong trends of the air among the UR/CU believers to toss out their bibles.. And without the scripture, UR/CU will remain a mystery until after the Lord returns.. Trouble is, folks missing that door referred to in Mt.25:1-13 the parable of the ten bridesmaid?s. The door into serving during the Lord?s long second advent, called reigning, for surely, to do His works is to reign? Crowns of Life, not metal. An advent that consists of not onLy the millennium rule on earth, but what follows, which turns out to be THE day of atonement. I can prove it. Please pray for me. I need to write a book.. And of course the adversary tries to stop us all along the way. I?m feeling weary.. at age 69 so want to write the book.. one the scriptures - they are bursting with CU/UR. And another, first? a mythical adventure, quest type of book.. fiction based on fact/scripture.. weaving in all i?ve been shown in his word - which is in large part a book of riddles, God hiding things in pLain sight. So what an adventure! That?s the wonderful thing, the keys are huge, easy to see.. But I think they have to be pointed out. Review and thots (my own study🤓) - vs.5,6 just previous - Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire (and prayers of the ?saints?) from the altar and threw it upon the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. ->The interrupting of 7:1,3, the holding back of the winds (of seal 6? 6:12-17). This interruption followed by the consolidating of powers - powers manifested this time as a many headed geopolitical beast/entity/institution, stepped into, lawlessly, by one from the office pinpointed by the 13:13 event. ? The vision is portrayed 3 different times in Rev, so 13:13 can easily be the first seal 6 event! I think our heavenly Father loves a good riddle! And after this interruption of holding back the winds of seal 6 after its first occurrence, comes the consolidating of powers (iron-bronze/roman-graeco/west and clay/not west/the fallen away west) along with the much lauded treaty/league of Daniel 9:27 - berith - covenant, league, treaty. A key? The triple six riddle in last days prophecy - six is the number of man, who is carbon based. Carbon having six protons makes its atomic number to be six. Besides 6 protons, it also has six neutrons and six electrons. A triple six. This suggests to me that all of apocalypse is mankind?s doings.
God can claim all judgments as his (the ?thunderings of his voice?) because it is after all, he, who created a cause and effect universe and reality. ..Otherwise creation as an ant farm?? We can trust this, God ?is Perfect? so the ?end? result of all things can only be the best one possible. The greek word translated end means end-aim, ?tel? like tel-escope.. prophecy repeats from smaller scope to full scope and end-aim of it.
We can trust in, and praise our heavenly Father?s end-aim, knowing he is - surely? - 100% unfettered Genius. Supreme. God is supreme and all mighty. ..If there?d been no option to stray in Eden? NO power of choice in creation? Ant farm!
If things - choices other than his - are not allowed to run their course, what exactly would be the whole point? Notice how ?all in heaven and earth? are taking this unavoidable journey/lesson all together at once. And how life as we presently know it - the straying itself - turns out to be the very crucible of correction! (The fall is an abyss of potential.) 2 And when he opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, from it rose smoke like the smoke of a great fiery furnace, and the sun, and the air, was darkened from the smoke.
3 And out from the smoke came (loud) locusts. And they had power like the power of scorpions (able to sting). 4 They were told (the command was) not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do noT have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were allowed to torment and buffet them for five months, but not to kill them, and the torment was like the sting of a scorpion. 6 And in those days people will seek death and not be able to find it. 7 The appearance (of something modern described by John around 95 CE) of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle. On their heads was something that looked like shimmering crowns (totally paraphrased by me, verse says ?something like gold crowns?). Their faces were like human faces, 8 their hair like a woman's hair, and their teeth like lions' teeth. 9 They had breastplates like iron, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle. 10 They have tails that sting, and their power to hurt people for five months is in the tails. 11 They have as king over them the (fallen) angel of the abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek is Apollyon. (Was a high angel!)
12 The first woe has passed (vs.5 says it lasts five months. Martial law?) Behold, two woes are still to come.

FROM a commentary, slightly edited for modern reading - Barnes at biblehub dot com, concerning ?fulfilled at the 7th trumpet?s sounding? ? is ?the setting up of his kingdom, which had been progressively revealed by the prophets. That purpose would be finished, or consummated, in the time when the seventh angel should begin to sound. Then all the mystery would be revealed; the plan would be unfolded; the divine purpose, so long concealed, would be manifested, and the kingdom of the Messiah and of the saints would be set up upon the earth. Under that period? (NOTE, mine: the period being ?the? millennium, aNd, the following GWT judgment ?day? - they being the Day of the LORD, the long second advent of king of the earth Jesus, which is bookmarked by two huge fiery events, 2Pet.3:10/2Thes.1:7-8 and 2Pet.3:12-13. The little scroll, separated like this, shows its importance. The key being, an overall key to the littler keys, lol, is ?the end? puts it all together. The consummation, the full and mature fruit, consequences, results, tells the whole story. Straying cannot work. God iS life, and he ?is perfect?. Self first, dog eat dog cannot work. ?Parable? of the decomposing ?apple? and its ?worm that doesn?t quit?. The decomposing, fading away doesn?t stop ..imperfection is the worm, because God iS life. But, no option to stray in Eden would mean creation as a mere ant farm.)

1 - Then I (disciple/apostle John) was given a measuring rod like a staff (clue about the ?rod of iron? Jesus will rule the nations with after shattering them with it). And I was told, ?Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, 2 but don?t measure the court outside the temple. Leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months?. (Cross reference? - 1Cor.6:19 - ?do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?/Presence of God.. I.e. waiting for a ?third temple? in prophecy, could be an error?)
3 ?And I will grant authority to my two witnesses (Rev.7:9,4?) and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.? (Poverty, mourning, and has to be during the second half of the lauded treaty that will last only seven years and be broken in the middle against Israel, Dn.12:11-12 w/ Lk.19:41,44-which verses prove the ?70 weeks? gap between 69 and 70; and w/ 1Cor.3:16. (Isaiah 24:20) - the higher and faster moisture rises, the larger and greater the hail. And surely(?) it is thermonuclear lightning.. rumbling and thunder.. ?seven thunders?? Counting the first occurrence which was Rev. 13:13 in the third telling of the vision - but the occurrence pinpointed an office, not yet an individual. Which was also the first seal six occurrence, but it?s veiled by the seals being described at the beginning of the vision, as their full and entire effects, first to very last. This also veils much of the entire vision. Kudos to any understanding any of us has had! ? Next week we begin the second telling of the vision, which is Revelation chapter 12. 2 She was with child and was crying out because of her birth pains and the torment of giving birth. 3 And then another sign appeared in heaven - behold! A great red dragon. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth [to the Son of man, Messiah Jesus] so that when she bore her child he might devour [kill] it. 5 She gave birth to a manchild, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron (with Truth, a measuring rod that cannot be broken). After the manchild(/Son of man) was taken up to God?s throne where he will rule with the unbreakable measuring rod of Truth, and the faith had fled.. (migrated) 7 - War arose in heaven, Michael and his angels warred against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels warred against Michael and his angels. 8 But the dragon hadn?t the strength, and no longer was a place for them found in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent (oR ?cherubim? from Ezek.28:12- ?Son of man, raise a lamentation over the king of Tyre.. you were in Eden, the garden of God.. an anointed covering cherub [kerub - an order of angelic beings, cherub, cheribim]. (Like David is used as a representation of Christ in prophecy, so too are despotic kings used as a representation of Satan the adversary.)

(A spiritual flood, a strong delusion? as to ?origins? declaring man most high, ?seated in the temple as god?/highest power; and? widespread drought just before Armageddon/next verse). 17 And the dragon was furious with the woman, the faith, and went off to make war upon the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God. Review: Chapter twelve is the second telling of the revelation vision. It is between the other two tellings - 6:1-2 to 11:19, but a trick with the seals keeps the vision veiled. They, the elements of the vision (and age) are described at the beginning of the vision as a swirl of their full and entire effects, first to very last. Especially pronounced in the 6th seal and the following 7:1,3 (9,4) where we presently still are. Jesus as going from ascension to chapter 5.. White horse rider being the ?good news to all?. Red horse rider is mankind/empire?s response.. Don?t fear the pale rider, etc, Ps.91. ? Third telling is 13:1 - ?Then I saw rising out of the sea a great beast/entity/institution with ten horns?/powers/seats.. 13:1 to 19:11.

When we left off last week, the dragon was raging, now to be more attentively upon ?the faith?s other children? - which, surely(?) brings us to Revelation 16?s gathering to Armageddon battle (Mt.13:30). End of chapter 12. End of one of three tellings of the vision. Chapter twelve being the middle telling. ?..And the dragon stood on the sand of the sea shore?.. How he turns rage on Israel and takes the world to Armageddon brings us to chapter 13.
13:1 - And I saw a (many headed geopolitical) beast (entity, institution) rising up, out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on the horns of it, and upon the heads of it, names of blasphemy [blasph?mia - slander]. 2 And the beast that I [John] saw was like a leopard, but with feet like a bear's, and its mouth, like a lion's mouth. (All predators.) And the dragon gave to it, his power and his throne and gave it great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound was healed. [Angels.] 7 Also it was allowed to make war upon the saints [believers/followers] and to conquer them. And authority was given to it over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 And all who dwell upon earth will revere it, everyone whose name has not been written in the book of life of the lamb who was slain from the founding [katabol? - laying down] of the world [kosmos - order, the world, a properly ordered system, universe, creation]. (Why was that the remedy? The slain lamb, remedy of what God knew was bound to occur.. his having allowed that man and angel be thinking, reasoning beings, which includes having some power of choice. At the same time, yes Jesus paid - in biblical manner of speaking - our debt to universal society, and the remedy must be strong enough to convince all, from the most ?innocent? among us, to the most heartless and cruel. The penalty/result of straying from God who is Life, is death, this entropy and passing away. But ?death could not hold him? for he is and was Perfect, the only straight out from God one. Entering death he had the key to unlock death and so set the captives (all of us) free. Important note - The initiaL conditions of some upon GWT judgment ?day? is portrayed in the rich man and Lazarus parable, and in the outside of the vision narrative of Rev.22.)

9 - If anyone has an ear, let them hear. 10 If anyone into (or taking?) captivity, to captivity they go. if anyone with the sword slays (usually translated, is slain [apoktein? or apoktenn?: to kill, slay]) with the sword must they be slain. (Or slay?) Here is a call for - the endurance and faith - of the saints/believers.
11 Then I (John) saw another beast rising out of the earth. (A difference, the huge beast, vs.1, rose up out of the sea {of humanity}. These two are integral to late days prophecy {additionally} evidenced by the angel in chapter ten - who had a ?little scroll? in his hands, and was standing with one foot on land and one foot on the sea.) (This littler beast, surely is essentially a modern, larger scope fulfillment of the ?little horn? of Daniel?s prophecy which came out of a cluster of horns, and as it grew, it uprooted three of the other horns around it, Dn.7:8 and 8:9, Rev.12:14?) This one has two horns like a lamb but it (ends up?) speaking like a dragon. 12 It (also ends up) exercising all the authority of the first beast - in its presence (the little beast will unlawfully step into the prime horn/seat of the huge many headed geopolitical beast/entity/institution? A bit after the half point of a lauded treaty/league established after a crises which just happens to consolidate powers. But which treaty, alas, will only last seven years, and will be broken, in the middle, against Israel by ?taking away or removing? their ?perpetual sacrifices? ..of prayers, etc, oR place of, Dn.12:11-12 w/Lk.19:41,44 and 1Cor.3:16.)
This (smaller, second) beast makes the earth and its inhabitants worship (be in allegiance to?) the first (larger) beast, whose mortal wound was healed. (The last days version/fulfillment, like yesteryear?s, was, was not, then was again.) 13 It (a two horned office) performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven/sky, to earth in the sight of, and presence of mankind. (This fiery event pinpoints/ed an office, not yet an individual.)

14 - And by the signs [s?meion - a sign, miracle, indication, mark, token (of the future? see 13:13)] this (smaller) beast (an office, not yet indicating an individual) is allowed to work in sight of the beast (in sight of the larger, many headed geopolitical beast/entity/institution) it deceives those who dwell upon earth, telling them to make an image to the beast that had been wounded by the sword (had expired) and yet (now) lived again. 15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain (reverse order). 16 Also it causes all, small and great, rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so no one may buy or sell unless they have the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of man (the word ?a? was inserted at translation) and the number is 666. (But Mt.Zion is the spiritual/heavenly, Mt.of Olives is the literal/earthly.) 2 And I heard a voice from heaven like the sound of rushing waters and of loud thunder. And like the sound of harpists playing on their harps. 3 And they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 having been redeemed from the earth. 4 These who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. 17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 Then I saw another angel who came out from the altar, an angel who has authority over fire. And he cried out with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, telling him ?Put in your sickle! And gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.? 19 So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 1 - Then I (John) saw another sign [s?meion - sign, miracle, indication, mark, token] (letting things run their course is a definite signifier, signpost, summary of unbreakable truth, nicknamed rod/measure of iron, sign/signature) in heaven, great and wonderful (truth that life hAs to be ?perfect? because God iS life, and ?is perfect? Mt.5:58; sign/signature) seven angels with seven plagues [pl?g? - blow, stripe, wound, affliction, plague] which are the last (effects, pinpointing cause) for with them the wrath of God is finished. [Ps.90:3, 5-7 (the ?wrath?) ? ?You return man to dust and say, ?Return, O children of man!? ..5 You sweep them away as with a flood, they are like a dream, like grass that is springs up in the morning, 6 in the morning it flourishes and is renewed, in the evening it fades and withers. 7 For we are brought to an end by your anger. 2 So the first angel went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a wound, evil [kak?s - an adjective, and the root of kak?a - inner malice ? properly, inwardly foul, rotten, poisoned] and grievous came upon the people who bore the mark of the beast and were worshiping its image. 3 The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea (Mediterranean?) and it became like the blood of a corpse, and every living thing died that was in the sea. 8 - The fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun {?code?? The sun is thermonuclear, God?s ?wrath? is cause and effect, Ps.90:3,5-7} and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. {Where the numbers of the beast come up, suggests apocalypse is totally done by mankind, for we are carbon based. Carbon has six protons, six neutrons and six electrons.} 9 They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. {If creation had no option to stray, it would be an ant farm. And if you don?t let it run its course, what would be the point?} They did not repent {and relent?} and give him glory.
10 The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom became more dark. People gnawed their tongues in frustration 11 and cursed the God of heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent/relent of their deeds.

17 - The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and then a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, ?It is done!?
18 And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was upon the earth, so great was that earthquake. 19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the great, to make her drink fully the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. {Full cup of consequences.} 20 And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. 21 And great hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven. 17:11-18
(The angel continues.) 11 - ?As for the beast that was and is not, it?s an eighth but it belongs to the seven {final fulfillment, seven become one?} and it goes to destruction. 12 And the ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings - for one hour - together with the beast{/entity/institution}. {Ten horns, kings, seats, divisions, toes-Dn2.} 13 These (ten) are - of one mind - and they hand over their power and authority TO the beast. 14 They will make war against the Lamb (Ps.2, Rev.6:3-4) and the Lamb will prevail [nika? - prevail, subdue, overcome, conquer, from nikē - victory] for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.?
15 And the angel said to me, ?The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.16 And the ten horns and the beast {political} will hate the prostitute {$ity Babble}. Some ?keys?? The Rev vision is told 3times, joining at trumpet 7. The seals description-as their full effects first to last at the beginning of the vision veils much. Vs.13:13 was by an office.

Here?s an interesting thing! The three mentions of lake of fire, are at very large, fiery, earthly events. At armageddon battle, which logically is what Mt.13:30 is referring to? At the fiery, final defeat of the adversary, Rev.20:7-10.
And ?at the regeneration? greek is basically ?palin/again-genesis? - At the regenesis which-! the translators changed - behold! I make all new, into all things new. Also in Eph.1:10 - all of heaven and earth gathered into Jesus, and Jn.13:3 - the Father has put all in the Son?s hand, and more whenever it would work. Not in 2Tim.3:16 - all scripture for training, or 1Cor.15:28 - that God be all in all. But is the same word - pas.
I got sidetracked.. the fiery oven, the crucible.. surely(?) is life as we presently know it? This imperfection/entropy.. A slow burn/fading away/slow gehenna..? The sieve that separates the chaff from off the wheat. The dis-ease as part of the cure? And immunity.. Imperfection being like a compost pile, its fading is a heating up.. Pluck the leaf from the tree, it burns away.. disintegration, corruption, a one way street. Like the angels that strayed, locked into darkness.. cannot change course. God being Life and - is perfect, quote - means imperfect can never work. Only God is non entropic. But! if there?d been no option to stray in Eden, creation would be a mere ant farm? And if not allowed to run its course, what would be the point? The culmination puts the pieces of the puzzle together?
God?s wrath/passion being cause and effect.
See how - all of heaven and earth - are taking this unavoidable journey through this all important contrast all together at once..
Let us - Father and Son - make mankind in our image - they?re not done yet? How do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact?
18:1-8
1 - After this I (John) saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, for the earth was made bright with his glory. 2 And he called out with a mighty voice, ?Fallen! Fallen! is Babylon the great! ?She? who became a dwelling place for demons! A haunt for every unclean spirit, every unclean bird, for every unclean and detestable beast. {Spirits like, and act like, unclean birds/vultures and detestable beasts.} 3 For all nations have drank the {unclean} wine of the passion [orge - passion, translated often as wrath] {so includes consequences?} of her sexual vices.
The kings {leaders} of earth {are in bed with} have committed immorality with her. And the merchants of earth have grown rich from the power [dunamis - power, strength, ability, might, miracle, dynamic] of ?her? indulgent and wanton/loose living.?
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, ?Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, and thus share in her plagues. 5 For her sins are heaped high as heaven {?she? shakes her fist at heaven?} and God has remembered her iniquities [adik?ma - wrongdoings, injustices, offenses]. 6 Pay to her as she has paid to others, and repay her double for her deeds, mix a double portion for her in the cup - she - mixed. 7 As she glorified [doxaz? - bestowed glory, honored, praised] herself and lived in indulgence and wantoness, so give her its torment and mourning. 9 - And the kings of earth, who committed sexual immorality {were in bed with ?her?} and lived in luxury with her, will weep and mourn when they see the smoke of her {$ity Babylon upon the seven continents/hills} burning. 10 They will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and will say, ?Alas! Alas! That great city, that mighty city, Babylon! For in one hour your judgment comes.?
11 And the merchants of earth will weep and mourn for her. For no one buys their cargo anymore, 12 products of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen and silk and scarlet cloths, all fragrant woods, and articles of ivory, and fine wood, bronze, iron and marble, 13 cinnamon, spice, incense, perfumes and ointments, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, slaves, and human souls [psuche - soul, life, self, inner being] {human beings}. 14 ?And the ripe fruit of you and the delicacies for which you lusted/longed for have gone from you. 15 The merchants of these things, who grew wealthy from her (the $ity) will stand far off, in fear of her torment, loudly weeping and mourning, 16 ?Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, with jewels, and with pearls! 17 For in a single hour all that wealth has been laid waste.?

In the parable of the ten bridesmaids, the door is to serving, called reigning (for logical reason) during the Lord?s long second advent. The door is to the wedding banquet/reception/supper. And the catching away of dead and alive believers - aka the resurrection, called the first (partial collective, eschatological) resurrection, is the wedding, the union.
?The door? closes to ?the? millennium - noT to Life, closed forever. Almost done with this study! ..I think.. I did start at the beginning? I?ll have to check.. The prophetic vision, about Earth events, seems to start at Revelation six. Which makes sense since six is the, quote, number of man.

It's nice to share ideas though, (eventhough things are 'sealed' and 'hidden' for a reason often (and one shouldn't throw pearls to pigs)). but maybe something someone says will click with someone else and broaden their understanding, but when it comes to such subjects; I prefer to chat to someone one on one, because I think it's good to let people answer their own questions and deal with one thing at a time. - It's a lot to digest.
Most people aren't even aware it is a chiastic scroll (and that within the scroll), and can't see the 'flow' of events correctly in it as a result, and have no idea of the times they are currently living in and what is on the near horizon. - Most are already branding a 'mark' of the world's system unawares; being governed by the world instead of governing themselves and heeding man's (so called) 'law' which is no law (Who has the lawful right to block out the sun?); rather than God's. I think the revelation vision is fascinating - as is all the scripture. And is written in a lot of riddles. (Things hidden in plain sight?) All the scripture, not just Revelation. It seems like when we understand a riddle it fits like interlocking puzzle pieces, and the Spirit builds upon it as time goes on. That?s a good way to test something I think. I think Father likes a good riddle..(?) And an inquisitive mind..? :Chinscratch: Understanding - ?the end? the greek word (tel.. like telescope, a clue about prophecy) means the end-aim, helps to understand what God is doing, how he?s doing it, and also - most importantly? Why.

22:3-21
3 - There is no curse there, and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There shall be no
night there and they will not need light of lamp or sun, for the LORD God will righten upon them. And they will reign {🗝️?crowns of Life? not metal, Daniel 2:36-45} to the ages, of the ages.
6 And he said to me (John), ?These words are trustworthy and true. And the LORD, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.?
7 ?So behold, I?m coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.?
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, 9 but he said to me, ?You must not do that! I?m a fellow servant with you and your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.? 10 And he said to me {narrative that is spoken - outside - of the vision} ?Don?t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near [eggus - at hand, near, nigh, ready]. 11 {Then/at that time} Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.? {Speaking about conditions befoRe apocalypse, noT after Rev.21:1-5, etc. Mt.13:30 as both Rev.16:14-15-16 and Mt.25:1-13.
12 ?Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense [misthos - reward, wages] with me, to bring to each one as they they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so they may have right to the tree of life and may enter the gates of the city. 15 Outside are the contemptible, the sorcerers [pharmakos - sorcerers, magicians, from pharmakon - drug, spell] and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. {For the city, the kingdom, is here now.. just not fully.}
16 ?I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things. I?m the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.? {The beginning of day..}
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, ?Come.? And let the one who hears say, ?Yes, come!? [Erchomai - can denote both the act of coming and the state of having arrived.] ?And let the one who is thirsty come! Let the one who desires take of the water of life without price.
18 But I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, God will add to them the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away their part of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are described in this book. {And will be outside the city at His return. Instead of having part in serving upon GWT judgment ?day? will be learning and being corrected then, instead of having been corrected now.} 20 And he who testifies to these things says, ?Surely I am coming soon.? Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
