Huh, I'm not sure I follow all that or which part of parts of my post your actually responding to.

We both agree that finding Christians or Christian sites without error would be impossible but I get the impression that Answer In Genesis is pretty consistent in it's Fundamentalist derived belief system.

I believe God's word but I believe in God's power and character more. So if God actually said Evolution isn't true then I would believe Him, which would be easy i'd have been told by God, but He's never said it isn't and nothing in the Bible correctly understood suggests He has. God is ancient, He's called the Ancient of Days in one of His titles. He's been around always why wouldn't the universe be billions of years old, why wouldn't God take his time making it, He's got plenty of it?

It doesn't matter to God if He makes the universe in several days or several millions years why does it matter to us? It doesn't make Him any more or less powerful but the suggest He had to have made it in seven days seems to because then you can ask, well what took Him so long? Why couldn't He have made it in five, or four. God is so power He can create the universe from beginning to end and however long it took in the same moment or set of moments.

Your belief and that of Answers In Genesis seems to be that Evolution is a deception created by the Devil to draw people away from God and what He says in the Bible. But the problem with that is that so far as I can tell Satan, as presented in the Bible, has no power to create things. He can only act to draw people away from the truth when the see it. He can't directly create falsehood. Therefore the evidence for Evolution which apparently does exist can't created by Satan and must be created by God. Fundamentalist who are aware of this and claim it is so. God has created it and put it there to test us. But that would mean that God is basically doing Satan's job for him and has been from the beginning. To me that is a massive blemish on the character of God who claims to be Truth its self. Truth that actively creates falsehood? Get out of here. If God's going to do that, then Satan isn't needed.

I believe that as Christians, we are called upon to lead people to God. This means, first and foremost, representing Him correctly so people will come to the correct Him. If people are going to represent Him in a way that says, how could He not destroy His enemies forever, that is such a fundamental misrepresentation that I can't believe they know God or can represent Him at all.

John 1
14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
