Nothing major.
Just still cannot work out how to do this quote thing.  :dontknow:
Trying to just quote a bit from someone, yet seem to always get the whole shebang.
Appreciate a simple explanation.
Definitely appreciate everyone's opinions about topics. Would like to be able to quote correctly.

I had trouble for quite a while, myself.

This is how I deal with it.

You do get the entire quote. Then you delete the parts you don't want, but be care not to delete the parts that keep the quotes intact.

I had to practice quite a bit, too. But, I am pretty good at it now.

Press preview, before you post, to play it safe.

You can make it say anything you want, for example...

I like chocolate milk

   Seems we are to press on the  little square box  with quotations in them     not the  quote 
  this gives us  all the lines of posts and poster to insert what you want out of them       :banana:

  I used   different colored   in in them  dark quoted areas and bolded them

  This is great being able to do this and it is so simple lol ...     well    well  lol...     who knew ??

If you want to break up a single quote by a person and address each topic separately, do you need to put the whole quote in each time and eliminate what you do not want in each one?

Or do you take the "quote tags" and put them around each part? then put your own response in after each part?

I myself put in the quote tags since I do have some understanding of html formatting

I do believe you just delete the part  you don't want   to address  or

  you can    do the quotes  , is is as you choose   , the name will not appear on the   quote , just the quote only .

It does seem easier to do the    insert  quote and remove   with   your mouse  or highlight and  delete .


I had no idea     this was so simple  and for so many years  I  did not know  how  :scratchhead:

That is what I love about this forum ..... since I know coding, I can put it in myself if an option is not available
