Should We Support the building of the Third Temple in Jerusalem?

I think this shows that no man can actually build the temple of God with his own hands. Building another physical temple at the cost of lives and all the money and work, just to have it revealed in time that the works of their hands got them no closer to God than they were before, why would I support an effort like that? I'd rather point to Christ instead. Paul himself said that he had to consider all his former objects of pride as DUNG in order to win Christ.

Their new identity is tied to the land they occupy.
Some Christians believe they are helping Israel by securing their new identity.

The Jews like to see signs. I think the destruction of the temple was a sign that the temple sacrifices were obviously not sufficient for salvation, and God lives in his people who know Christ was the ultimate sacrifice who supersedes all other sacrifices and the law.

"For the entire law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your associate as yourself."" (Galatians 5:14)

I agree, and it wasn't politically correct in Paul's day either. He was accused of "teaching against the people and this place." The first place they go is the accusation of anti-Semitism. That's what happened. You become falsely accused and made of no reputation.

Paul never taught against the people. He taught against the flesh having standing with God. Pride in the flesh results in wrath when the flesh is rejected as a way to be established before God.

I personally was falsely accused of it by a close lifelong friend for this very thing, angrily and falsely labeling me. But I count it joy nonetheless.
