Re:  OLD< COLD< TREES=the terrific three

I have all three in Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, a zillion trees, and temperatures that just recently dropped to minus 53 (oh yes, Minnesota also has wind!!) wind chill factor.  and I'm old  (80 soon!!!)   I love winter.... snow.... even cold (well 50 below is a bit much)...

Lazarus... happy packing and moving to you and Barb... God is so gracious...always seems (?) to know ahead of time just what His children need and want.

James... you're much too young to be already wanting warmer weather...

Have a pleasant evening.... where ever you are...  for no matter where you are... He is where you are.

Anna, thank you for the kind words.  I'm listening to Minnesota Public [internet] Radio classical as I type this - the sound quality is incredible, and it's 24/7.  You may have no idea what it means to a classical music lover who is stuck in a C&W town.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

Anna I know what you mean about fellow shipping. I have actually never met anyone (personally) who believes in the glorious gospel. Everyone that I know believes in the bad news of ET and I have never met anyone who questions what they believe or why they believe it. No matter what you show an ET believer they will all defend ET fiercely. If pushed on the issue most ETers will become extremely angry. So there is no physical assembly of like minded people who can gather for fellowship. My goal is to meet one other person who believes in the glorious gospel. We should find a central proximity location for all the members here to meet and set a time and date. It would be like a reunion except for the fact that most of us have never met each other in person.

Hi mpls

Re:  Anna I know what you mean about fellowshipping.

I fellowship through email, snail mail, Christian Forums ONLY because I no longer can travel or even go outdoors.  And I fellowship with anyone, including family, friends, former fellowshippers  who believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior... I'm not into labels such as UR, ET, etc. and I fellowship at Tentmaker Forum only because they believe that Jesus Christ is Savior of ALL men.

My main concern is always to encourage ALL those with whom I fellowship to get into the Word... I'm compiling a Seeker's Devotional... based on Ps 119 and of course, Seek first the Kingdom of God... it's kind of a Bible Study type devotional. I'm still refining it a bit ... my prayer has been and continues to be that as they read/study that the Holy Spirit will quicken the TRUTH to their minds and hearts.

Unlearning is often harder than learning.
Likely/partly because the first step you have to take is to admit you were wrong for years.
The turn or burn message makes it even harder I guess.

Hi....I'm Marilyn from Kansas City, MO! Some of my favorite quotes are:

"When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic." --Dresden James

A truth's initial commotion is directly proportional to how deeply the lie was believed. It wasn't the world being round that agitated people, but that the world wasn't flat. When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic." --Dresden James

hello everyone from south texas, thank you so much Gary you are such a real caring man of God, you have no idea how much talking to you meant to me. for all the rest, I've been called by God since 1971, after a lifetime of drugs and crime at 57 God broke me in half last week when I almost died from  a drug overdose. Since 1971 I've probablly spent two years sober off drugs, I tried to die just last week but God said no not yet. He sent some to save me.

I don't need convincing or proof of Him for I have seen miracles and wonders He performed through me. I wwas known years ago as Moondawggy as I created Spirit touching Spirit ,,I became injured and addicted to prescription drugs and betrayed my calling. He didn't give me up and will not. I can hear his voice again and sense His great presence once agian and have been charged once aain to be about my Fathers' business I  have more wonders to perform for His people and those to heal. We all do for we are one spririt with Him, we none of us can be seperated some of us are just harder to break. I've gone from drug dealer, armed robber criminal and back again at 57 an it was not wasted, painful but not wasted. Love to you all in our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.

Cardinal

:cloud9: Wow, Moondawggy, I remember you, remember being blessed by your posts. THANK GOD He did not let you go, you are needed here, great things are about to happen in the Kingdom and you KNOW you are to be part of it. Rise up, the time is short, and Leviathan cannot have you anymore, you have a generation under his hold to set free! Be blessed, my new email is on my profile, please feel free to email me. Blessings.... :HeartThrob:
