Thank for replying White wings.

So if I'm unfortunate enough to be a descendent there's no hope?  I'm sorry to sound so dramatic but it was like the white robes were meant for the redeemed and then I was taken into this other room meant for the nephilim. That's where it ended.  It was so vivid and has left me feeling scared.

I'm in a pretty dark place right now anyway and am trying to trust in God but then I get thrown this curveball .

The fact that you actually despair about your salvation tells me all I need to know.  Your desire comes from God...and God alone.  It's all about seasons.  I said a salvation prayer when I was 7.  I was very aware of God from an early age, Jesus even came to me in a dream when I was very young.  But, life happened...sins abounded...my fruit was bad...and I grew in my despair.  I felt different...separate from others...certainly separate from Christians.  I became a drunk and a drug addict.  It was a stage..an age.  It was supposed to bring despair.  It was supposed to bring me to the end of my rope.  It was supposed to convince me that I couldn't...and never could earn my salvation or God's love.  When I finally figured out I couldn't I became teachable.

You struggle with a relationship with you.  It starts there.  You feel like a Nephalim because you can't accept the fact that God adores you, and you don't have to do anything to earn that.  You are beautiful in God's sight, but you can only look at your failures.  Until you can forgive yourself, and love yourself...you will struggle accepting God's love.

Shawn, excellent post brother!

Micah, you would be quite amazed at the dark thoughts that can enter the human mind. A lot of those (I am convinced) come from the Christian religion. They cast fear into the mind in order to control people and to get money from them.

This means that we need the Holy Spirit (who leads us into all truth) to teach us to wage the battle of the thought life. That leads to Yeshua again and again and again, until the point where we are convinced that those thoughts are not of God. Then we come to the realization that God loves us , He created us, all the same species yet all unique, all different DNA.

The devil is always looking for worship, that we bow before him and believe his lies. We have to believe what God tells us and believe His truth which will make us free.

Sorry bro, I don't mean to correct you, it's just that I had a period in my life that was very dark and I was hampered with all sorts of crazy thoughts.

Take care

You've all written such heartfelt messages...thank you.

I really do think I never had the baptism of the holy spirit...there is nothing to suggest I did.  So I'm still in the outer court (relating to the tabernacle) unable to get any further. Is this because I wasn't willing to offer myself as a sacrifice?   Quite possibly..I saw my faith as part of me rather than all of me.  I didn't love God enough I suppose.   Or maybe I didn't have enough faith to truly trust in Him and actually believe I am saved.  But faith is a gift from Him, so that makes me feel rejected.

I'm sorry to be dwelling on the milk...but then the rest of this forum has more than enough meat for you all to be chewing on!

I must get up and try to face the day. It really is an hour at a time at the moment.  To make the picture a bit clearer, I am physically unwell at the moment although no diagnosis given yet...having tests...hence the very dark place when Im thinking that I'm not his.  The nephilim dream (vision? I was sort of half awake) really knocked me for six...

Thank you all  for listening  :girlheart:

I've been wondering how you are.   Yes, there will be Nephilim in the last days.  He tells us it will be as in the days of Noah, and, you understand,  the days of Noah came about because of the Nephilim and the evil in men's hearts.  I see your dream as a vision.  As He is telling you--it is the last days.

Yes, you can have the indwelt Holy Spirit.  Ask Jesus to give Him to you.  The fact that you realize you never had him is a very good sign.  He wants you to have the Holy Spirit.  He doesn't desire a sacrifice, but a humble heart, which you clearly have.  Ask Jesus to give you the Holy Spirit.

Mark 12:33
To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."

The feet of the statue are iron mixed with clay.

clay = man
iron = angel
combined = Nephlim
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

You know, I'm quite sure that we all are tempted in many ways, voices/thoughts/mistranslation of scripture/dreams/visions. We are to test the spirits (angels and demons are ministering spirits) to see if they are of God. As part of that, I think (imo) that we should stand back and take a look at these things in the light of Christ.

Do they bring joy, comfort, peace, and all the good things that our loving Father and His Son are. But do they bring fear, hopelessness, confusion, depression, loneliness' and misery, saying that we are half man or half animal or some kind of freak show and that God will just destroy us. Is that Christ? I think not.

He is a refuge for those who are burdened and have no rest. "

  • Come unto me all ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest"
[/list  His yoke is easy, His burden is light. We must learn to don our armour and wield that mighty sword and put our enemies and His, to flight. May He grant us a discerning of spirits. If something (in spirit) isn't good to eat, don't eat of it.

Thank you all for your encouragement.  I am in a better place than a week ago ...it really does seem that God is reaching out to me in a myriad of different ways.  Of course , it's a battle not to let the adversary steal these moments with a "just a coincidence" but I'm choosing to trust in my Heavenly Father never to let me go.

This thread reminds me of what a friend of mine says.  He speaks of what he calls the "anthropic principle," and I see it in essence as "love your neighbor as yourself."  He takes it so far that he even speaks of amoebas displaying it - if one amoeba has difficulty in mitosis, others will come near to help out...and so the body is built up.  :friendstu: :gimmefive: :friendstu:
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

Hello again

Every day is still a struggle and I know that so many people are praying for me including many who have never even met me...thank you

I have had so many coincidences happen where it feels like God is affirming his love, but the mind is very good at reasoning it away.  I then  had a really tough night when it really felt like I  was wrestling with a demon.  I tried to say  Jesus but my mouth was paralysed and I could actually hear myself  trying to speak in the room...sort of groaning... It was like being half awake..  I was as cold as ice all over. The following night I stayed at a christian friends house and I know she was awake most of the night praying  for me.  I felt a peace over me  though...quite unexplainable...almost like I was ready for battle.  I was as cold as ice again...my friend commented on it.  Anyway, several times over the next few hours I would get these cold shivers and a very heavy weight in my chest and  I just rebuked it again and again in the name of Jesus, and using whatever scripture I could summon up.  It seemed to work...the heavy weight would go and  the cold  would  dissipate.  I also felt calm.  I know that most of my Christian friends just think  I've had some nightmares ...when you are in a depression (which I am)  it's quite hard to be taken seriously.   But it felt so real.  Does this  experience resonate with anyone?

Changing topic , can I ask a question please?  Why do some Christians seemingly not experience baptism of the spirit...which seems to manifest itself in many ways like 'feeling surrounded by love', speaking in tongues, being slain in the spirit etc.  I know we are supposed to walk by faith and not rely on feelings but  it's mighty hard sometimes.

Thanks for listening x

sheila

it's a progressive walk in the spirit.  Ephesians 6;10  speaks the spiritual armour of God...........belt of truth

around your waist...BREASTPieCE OF RIGHTEOUSNESSS[God's and Jesus love for you..that will give you the

free gift of righteousness through Christ]..  Sheild of faith.= faith in God who will have ALL men saved.helment

of salvation[know this so the seed of doubt the liar speaks to your mind will not cause you to doubt or trust in

God and His love for you..sword of the spirt[word of God].......

may His mercy, love and peace comfort you..equip you and strengthen you in the Lord.

FEAR NOT..little flock..for I have overcome the world.......the spirit of Christ overcomes all things and put's

them into subjection. Beleive and trust in that!

Howdy lfh!

I was in the park yesterday with the grandchild.  I was taken by how different all the kids were.  We all come from different places, are raised differently, have odd and differing influences is our lives.  There are doctrinal answers as to why not all get this or that.  The doctrinal answers differ with the sect that is dishing it out.  There is only one answer for you, and it is specific for you, form the councilor that is within working with you.

Your feelings are there for a reason.  They are helpers as well.

One verse that helped me realize that was in Romans.

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

How do we realize death, life, and peace without our feelings?  Not sure where the doctrine "don't trust your feelings" comes from.  As a doctrine I would have to refute it in my own life.  My feelings are there for a reason.  Learning to trust the the word that is in you is where you are heading. The basics are faith, hope, and love.  Faith will change as you learn and grow.  What you belief must be questioned, by you.  You are doing that now.   We will continue to work it through with you.

Ask and you shall receive.

You are doing the right thing by asking.  There are many able ministers here who will have great input.  Can't wait!  Thanks for asking!

Hi Ed, cool post bro, but I have to detract from your emphasis on feelings (emotion). I was around Pentecostal circles for a while and they would whip themselves up to a high peak and then all the slaying of the spirit (so called) prophecies, words of knowledge and healings would be happening. As soon as the service was over, all of that stopped.

Of course we have feelings but we should not allow ourselves to be led by them. If we know that God is the source of those emotions, then let it rip! As members of one Body we are to be sober and upright as we walk by faith, as Sheila mentioned.

Our emotions have to be washed, as does our conscience. The gifts of the Spirit are used here in Tentmaker a lot, but always to honour Christ and build up His Body. The members exercising those gifts, probably don't even know it at the time because they have their eyes Heavenward. I don't want to follow doctrines either, I want to follow Yeshua.

I liked how you shared from the heart, Ed. I hesitated to write this post but then I knew I needed to.

Tit 2:2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience

1Pet 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ

In His Love
Bless you mate

Good points Jock.

How did you know?  How does the Spirit work us?

I agree it is not about getting worked up into a frenzy or anything like that.  Lots of people come from that background.

Our relationship with Christ is the question here.   The intimate relationship.  I feel something when I talk about it.  How can we have a relationship without intimacy?

I'm pretty sure  we are instructed to have "fervent love one for another".  What do we do when the feeling is gone?  The question is why do some people have it and some people do not?  How do we get it.  How did you get it?

:Peace2: Jock

Jock

Ed, you are absolutely right about Love and the Love of God is much greater than an emotion. To be honest with you, when I think of God's Love, I can't fathom it! It's too big and all encompassing. When we come together at TM, we ARE knowing intimacy in Christ and each other, He has promised to be with us when we gather in His name.

We must learn to walk by faith and the Spirit will lead us down that path. When Yeshua was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan, the Voice of the Father spoke from above saying, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased" Wow!!! What a high that must have been. But then He is led into the wilderness BY the Holy Spirit, to be tempted by the devil in his weakest moments after a 40 day fast.

I'll bet that the high from Jordan was gone so the Lord did something wonderful, He (by faith) answered satan with the words of His brother's the prophets. It is "written". You see, Jesus had no strength left, He was almost dead but He knew the Word and that was His defence.

Don't worry about the getting of this, you will be brought into it.

sometimes...when we feel 'all poured out/empty" we have to ask Him to fill us again...see...He has the

spirit without measure...and we have to 'buy it' from Him...and only Him..but the funny thing is..even though we

buy it from Him...it's free!

   BUY=to obtain at a price[His blood] purchase[redeemer]

evr here that saying'Im' not buying that!" meaning...I don't beleive that......buy the truth and sell it not!

to buy is to beleive in the one He sent!

Come! Buy without money   [Isaaih 55]  why spend money on what is not bread..and your labour on what

does not satisfy?

QuoteLISTEN....LISTEN TO ME[this is my son...hear ye Him] and eat what is good.......

So true.  Eating what is good, fosters the intimacy.

The church taught power of the spirit is fine for a few hours.  When you leave you are left with your relationship that you have fostered daily with Jesus Christ.  That is what I mean by an intimate relationship.  You don't get an intimate relationship by going to church and trying to do what they do.  You get the intimate relationship with the daily walk with Christ.

Who you spend time with you become like.  Spend the time with Jesus, and learn the inside out relationship that has been given to us.

The reason that some do not get the manifestations is because they don't need it.  They have the intimacy and know that they don't need the approval of men.  They have all the spirituality they need.   The other reason would be that they are trying to do it backwards.  They want to be fed by a spiritual leader other then Christ.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

If we are to seek first the kingdom of heaven then the kingdom of heaven is find-able and attainable for the present moment.  It is a daily fellowship with the heavenly kingdom.

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

A moment by moment practice.  Don't worry about what the rest of the church is working on.  You don't have to have it like they have it.  Your relationship is between you and God.  Don't measure it by any other standard then the what you learn of Christ in the intimate relationship that you have fostered daily, moment by moment.

That is not to say that you can't learn from others, but it is only after it has gone through the process of proving.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

"I've never changed to be more like Christ since I found Him 12 years ago. In fact I would say I'm a worse person now, with so many issues, especially anger.  I despair of myself most of the time.  I've always felt different to other Christians in that they hear from him, experience him and have evidence of Him working in their lives. I have none of this as I just bear bad fruit.  So maybe I am different. I can no longer summon up enough faith to say I am His. " (lookingforhope)

I have and still can relate to "your" despair and I have done my earthly best as a soul in the process of being saved for 37 yrs. About 5-6 years ago I read Psa 139:7  Whither do I go from Thy Spirit? And whither from Thy face do I flee?
Psa 139:8  If I ascend the heavens--there Thou art , And spread out a couch in Sheol, lo, Thee!
And I was made to realize that truth. HE is there...ALL the time. I cannot begin to discern your dream, but I was praying several years ago, praying all that your post offers and even perhaps more, when I paused-waited, to add more of my failures and weaknesses, and in that silence I heard, yes I heard just two words....I KNOW. That bit of knowledge, that small offering, has given me a great deal of peace. I am what I am, [and He Knows] I cannot be anything else... UNTIL He continues His work in me and holding to the hope and faith given to me, through His Grace, He will complete His work in me as with you and ALL.  :dsunny: Jesus is Risin!
PS I do know that you are not a nephilim.

I so agree!!  :iagree: :iagree: !

I remind myself that people, even people of God show their best face to others.. We don't often see the struggles.. won or seemingly 'lost' - we know they are won by the Word, the sWord of Truth..

But! we don't always feel as tho they are won!

I also, veRy strongly believe the fallen angels, dark entities, make personal war against us. I truly believe we would aLL be dead if not for the protection of His Presence.. (His Spirit)

And this warfare against us, waged personally, is further proof we are His! The Lord's own, whom He loves dearly. Once I can overcome the realm of my own feelings and live by faith.. those dark delusions fall away..

Oh I believe the enemies are clever.. as i age.. every twing.. oh, is that cancer? Begone demon/untruth!

"Look at your life, circumstances.. health, whatever, your own reponses, etc, etc.. proves God-doesn't-love-you!" Begone demon/untruth in the name of Jesus!

Oh yes, dead, all of us, is the goal. We can only saturate ourselves in the word.

A few years back I was running around all angry, and broke a footstool my son had made for me in highschool shop.. (no it was never repaired) At the point of impact.. angry over the fight, the struggling.. the demons of darkness and despair of life.. light like a ray, entered.. and I realized.. I did it. I got angry. I broke the footstool, the craft of my son. And really all I had to do at any point, was stop.

I learned years ago and previous to that, to replace every single negative thought with a faith filled positive one. Yes in my mind put a big X over the negative thought, and deliberately replace it with a positive one, best case scenario, with scripture declaration, promise, etc. At darkest times it's simply "Jesus is Lord". At other times of dark struggle, I have repeated "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus...." when I felt I simply could do nothing more.

In your dream.. the word "nephilim" spoken as an accusation.. and as a threat.. accusation and threat is not the voice of the Lord, but is the voice of the liar..

Your enemies will do aNything to stop you. Or that is to say, they will try.. but "underneath are the everlasting arms" the Lord says "I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefor have I drawn thee.." Jer 31:3 And the more warfare against you (imo) the greater plans of the Lord to use you.

"He who dreams a dream let him be a dreamer, but he who has the word, let him speak" or something like that.. paraphrased rather poorly, from memory :)) "Thy Word is Truth" all else... neither here nor there, i.e. doesn't really matter!!
   :girlheart: God bless!

p.S. - i once felt the Lord showed me when I have yielded, yielded all my being to Him, that's when I should start pulling up floorboards.. i.e. keep consciously yielding..

Marie, I have been enjoying reading your posts on this thread in particular. I very much agree about the "fallen" who attack us. I get it lots. I have a whole list of health issues, three of them life threatening so there is a lot of whisperings and chattering going on, like "God is punishing you for XXXXX in your life. "you won't see the first resurrection because you left the last group where God had placed you".

LF Hope, I know what you mean, it IS mighty hard to stand in faith against their wiles because there is power there. Principalities and powers of the air. I tell you this though, Faith can never be defeated even though it "feels" like it can.

It helps me sometimes to look at the birds of the air, little birds flap a lot but the bigger birds way up high, just soar and ride the thermals. I watched the awful tsunami that hit Japan a few years ago and I was shocked at the devastation As it was crashing in, I saw a seagull flying above it and it's kinda like that with us. He builds us up to be like mighty men/women of God and we are all imperfect, well, you guys are, I'm perfect. LOL, just kidding.

Yet those who  wait for the LORD
Will gain new strength;
They will  mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
