I don't understand. I am not an American, but when I received the revelation of UR, my understanding on how to interpret scripture changed completely. I now know that Revelations is a completely symbolic book. How can you then, having understood UR then go off into all of this ooky spookyness of endtime prophecies like they are real when we should know better?  :dontknow: :punish:

I'm not as interested in the book of Revelation as some folks because I think it's simply the story about the fulfillment of prophecy concerning Israel. It's the last book of the bible, but it's not really the end of the story. Christ was a Jew, and he came to earth to minister to the Jews exclusively before he died. It was the risen Christ who commissioned Paul with a distinct evangel to those of us of the nations. Paul actually completed the word of God. Paul tells of the consummation of the eons when all mankind will be vivified, the universe will be reconciled to God, and God will be all in all.

I believe the Book of Revelation is (also) the culmination of all man's history.. the end of the story.. the proving and proof that one cannot build upon sand / without YHWH who, imo, is Life itself (and also Perfection)

And  I believe "Judgment Day" to be a long day of the review of all of mankind's history with the proof (to aLL) being the collapse and crash of man's YHWH-less works, at the 'end'.. It being the story and lesson of all human history as a whole, and also the lesson and story of every single person's life.. same story.. same illustration.. same lesson, something veRy important God is teaching.. this knowing of good from evil - Life from death -  and  - true from untrue..
:girlheart: God bless!

I too believe the book of Revelation or more specifically the vision of John to be 100% symbolic.
It's a Prophecy with it's roots in many Old Testament Prophecies.
I see the story about the Word of God in Revelation. This includes Christ (Word) and the people who carried and carry the Word in them but to me the Word is what Revelation is all about. A lot of the death, battles and bombastic language in Revelation is about the Word being killed. I could argue that Darwinism is in Revelation. Darwin didn't kill anyone but people are considered killed in Revelation when they are without the Word. It's hard to tell real death from spiritual death in Revelation.
