I am not sure if any here have felt this way, but Father has lead me down many wondrous paths and none more beautiful than the one I'm about to tell you about. An utter waste land.

What could possible cause Father to lead me to such a place? I had found the treasure, Father had spoken to me. I knew that I was loved. Everything made perfect sense. I was happy but totally EMPTY.

I could see acts of horror on TV and not feel anything. I knew Father had called his children home. I wasn't sad, for who could possibly be sad knowing where they were now. I prayed for the loved ones, but did my prayer make any difference? I mean I understood Fathers plan and all was falling into place. Who was I to question anything. I was completely at ease, but I was empty. I was in a waste land, devoid of emotion, devoid of Love.

Had Father abandoned me? I did not feel abandoned, I did not feel NOT loved, but I did not feel love. I wasn't feeling anything. Everything made perfect sense and there was nothing for me to do that could possible make a difference. I hated no one and felt no malice towards anyone or anything.

But I was empty. I knew Father was God and I knew that I was little me, just a little light amongst millions of other little lights.

I shone but I shone for nothing, I was completely empty. I was the dog that caught hold of the car.

Now what???????  :dontknow:

Well I prayed, I read and I meditated but nothing. It was like this for a number of weeks. I learned that this was not uncommon, that it was indeed a time of transition. The base had been laid, now was a time for reflection, not worrying about being lost and alone. The Spirit of love was working me over good.

I learned what it truly meant to feel LOVE :HeartThrob:  I began to see LOVE, hear LOVE and even touch LOVE  :HeartThrob:   I began to see the utter beauty in a seemingly endless waste land. It was only a wasteland when it was devoid of LOVE :HeartThrob:

Then it hit me! It became so obvious and I felt such a fool. Why hadn't I seen it before???

It was never Father's plan to fill the world with LOVE :HeartThrob:  Not personally. It has always been his plan to have we, his children to fill it for Him. Jesus came to show us how to love. He showed us how to live and breathe love. His LOVE gave him faith and hope and it was all he needed to prove death a fallacy.

So how was lil me going to LOVE like that??? It wasn't up to me, it never was. All I had to do was open my heart and my soul enough to allow the LOVE  :HeartThrob:  flow in and through me completely. As I was told, my love was never for me. It was mine to give away only. The more I gave to more I received and the more I could give.

That was the lesson of the wasteland. It was such because I had shut off the love faucet. Now, you might wonder how a state devoid of Love could ever be beautiful? Well like a empty canvas to an artist, it is beautiful because the possibilities are endless.

This world we call home is truly our playground and it is only ever has colorful and joyous as the amount of LOVE we are prepared to spend.  :girlheart:

Nothing matters but LOVE. This is my mission I know that now. Just Love and TRUST :HeartThrob:  Like the spiritual baby I am, I know that I will fall and stumble many times and like a baby, I might not like it but I am never going to stop getting back up and Love some more.

We are the light of the world when we let the LOVE shine in and through us!!!!!  :dsunny:

Love to all, Julie :HeartThrob:

Tom

  :iagree: :iagree:

To love / have Love flowing through us makes us vulnerable.. for Love can hurt.. when we see pictures of war.. starvation.. plague.. etc, we can weep with the Holy Spirit of God.. Even knowing the 'end' from the beginning, He still suffers and grieves, imo, over aLL sufferings which occur.. (unavoidable, imo, since He is life itself)

"the infinite riches of the Love of God.." or the love God has / is..

Julie, you have tapped into an artesian formation which will flow forever, being inexhaustible.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.
