The Kingdom of God, is it only within? Will we be body-less?

The view I get of the life to come in the kingdom of God is a deathless life in a perfect body, enjoying your own fig tree and grape vine - a life of simplicity, peace, and contentment. 
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

Reminds me of the time Arnold Schwarzenegger (circa 1978) was speaking at an event  and I was backstage while Arnold was waiting to come out. We talked awhile(I was ET then and finally said, "Ya know Arnold, when I get to Heaven I'll have a body like yours."
He replied, "I'm an atheist so I guess you think I'm going to hell?" I replied, "In a way. I think when you die, you'll have a body like mine - won't that be hell?" He did one of his booming laughs and walked out on stage.

I always thought the kingdom of God was the 1000 years that Jesus reigned here on earth. I thought he/God talked about what it would be like during this 1000 years of His kingdom such as in Isaiah 43 Isaiah 45:17-25 Isaiah 49 

Isaiah 11:6-16The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and young lion and fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Verse 9) They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the weaters cover the sea.

I don't think any of these things have happened yet.

Absolutely, and I love those verses.. But, I especially agree with "I don't think any of these things have happened yet."

I also think the body of Jesus is not perfect [00ps! make that the 'church' is not perfect, how embarassing to be such a dummy! :smile: ] nor pure, until His return which is when immortality and in-corruption is "put on".

And, I very much believe it will all literally happen. In the flesh/matter. A real earth, a real universe.. real fruit trees, literal animals.

Mentioning Jesus having an imperfect body Marie. :dontknow: I think that is no longer true for him. I believe he has indeed put on (again)(Phillipians) immortality with his return to the Father. IMO, his perfect immortal body has something man made in heaven. -yes, the scars in his hands and feet and side... He had doubting Thomas touch him, look at his hands, touch his side. It was a corporeal body. When the disciples were in the boat and they thought they were seeing a Ghost - "Do not be afraid, a ghost does not have a body of flesh and bone(not blood) as you see that I have. Not to mention eating fish with the disciples shortly after he rose from the grave.
At least one of the disciples said that they had seen him with their eyes and handled him (prolly a group hug) :laughing7: :Peace2:

This may be an unconventional point of veiw. IMO, the "kingdom of heaven" is... God. Just like now He can be in you and outside of you simultaneously. Just as he is inside of time and his creation yet, at the same time outside of both. There, now it's all cleared up> :laughing7:

Certainly what you wrote is true, for God is and will be even more so "all in all" and "in Him we live and move and have our being"..

"In the beginning God.." which leads me to believe He is life itself, the life force.. And is the only life there is.. (which, imo, is an important thing mankind is learning)

And what you wrote reminds me (just my :2c: ) of how Jesus said "there are some here who will see the Kingdom in power" and next was the transfiguration, which concluded with the words "and they saw Jesus only".

Jesus did say "the Kingdom of God is within you". I was wondering though, could the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven be two different Kingdoms?

To me, it's like thinking there may be a different "GOD" depending on whether you mean God the Father or God the son, Jesus. :Peace2:

I'm sorry Ded, I was referring to different Kingdoms not different God's. This world is a kingdom I believe and many times the Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven is mentioned, I just wondered if the Kingdom of God wasn't what would be manifested during the 1000 years while the Kingdom of Heaven is in heaven. Maybe this sounds crazy, I don't know?

I meant it as, IMO, all of creation is God's kingdom, God's heaven. If all evil was removed at this time, only the few that are trusting in the shed blood of Jesus to shelter them, cover them and their sins, would still be here.
Maybe it's like now is God's Kingdom and then when all evil is removed it's God's heaven. I don't know either :dontknow:
