I think the early church success was due to a couple of factors
1.) The holy Spirit
2.) recentness of miracles
3.) No powerr guys in control saying, "This is the way it's always been done"

Bob Coy from Calvary Chapel Ft. Luaderdale (6 to 10,000 in 12 years) said, "the reason this church is successful is that we are just average guys that have never done this before and have no idea what we are doing. We HAVE TO rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction."

5 But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property. 2 However, he kept back part of the proceeds with his wife's knowledge, and brought a portion of it and laid it at the apostles' feet.
3 Then Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds from the field? 4 Wasn't it yours while you possessed it? And after it was sold, wasn't it at your disposal? Why is it that you planned this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God!" 5 When he heard these words, Ananias dropped dead, and a great fear came on all who heard. 6 The young men got up, wrapped his body, carried him out, and buried him.

Apostolic Signs and Wonders
12 Many signs and wonders were being done among the people through the hands of the apostles. By common consent they would all meet in Solomon's Colonnade. 13 None of the rest dared to join them, but the people praised them highly. 14 Believers were added to the Lord in increasing numbers—crowds of both men and women. 15 As a result, they would carry the sick out into the streets and lay them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow might fall on some of them. 16 In addition, a large group came together from the towns surrounding Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

The secret that is not so secret.

You can not be part of a group of truth seekers,
if you keep secrets from that group.
All of us, who see, see that the village is not afraid to mock you.
They are not bringing out there sick and lame.

Those who don't see ie;(the world) see Christians who partake in religion.
They see them as the most secretive society there is.
The Pope has had some of his secrets bared and he just wishes he was dead.
He will be kept alive by those who secretly want him dead.

Please avoid the above by not going any further with the lord.
Unless you have no secrets between you and those you travel
with you seeking the truth.

On that note, if torment is forever, the Father will be thought of as a Step-Father or a Foster Father.  Nice to know He isn't!

Father of the Damned ? Now that is a powerful argument against ET and for UR. How could He be Father of all without being Father of the damned in the ET paradigm?

I was hoping we could put that behind us now brother and perhaps even become friends through time.  I know it won't be easy, but I'm willing to try.  Not much damage has been done, and it can be healed.

If ETERNAL torture was true, God would have to be the Father of the Damned since everlasting existence is a Divine attribute.  This is another way God becomes evil by the implications of ET doctrine.

You know the really sad thing?

I think I know people who would picnic at that lake and feel very vindicated;  they would think themselves ever so brilliant.

Thank God I am not like that floating roasting over in the middle of the lake.  I was a good girl/boy and now I get to see them suffer for ever.  Pass the sandwiches would you sweetie, watching people burn alive gives me an appetite.
