But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let those who hear say, "Come!" Let those who are thirsty come; and let all who wish take the free gift of the water of life.

I think that God created everything out of Himself.  The creation is the rib out of His side.  In Him we live and move and have our being. He is over all and in all and through all.

We know God the Father and God the Son, right? What if there is also Mother and Daughter?

There's a good post in the "Myth of Gehenna" thread on page 7, Cardinal's last post on that page. (I'm on my cell so can't link it, sorry.)

I was thinking more about the separation.
God separated Adam's flesh and made Eve.
when the pieces of flesh come back together they give birth.
To new person now this person has flesh ,soul and spirit.
The spirit is a seed.
The flesh carries the seed of the flesh in the male.
The flesh carries the egg in the female.
Both carries the seed of the spirit.
Is there an egg of the spirit?

for mother check out El Shaddai.  YHWH was first known to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by this name [the nurturing 'mother,' God of Israel?]

3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty [el shaddai], but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.

4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

--Ex 6

[El Shaddai translated in the King James as God Almighty]

[ Some say this is rooted in the Hebrew word for breast= 'shad']--the God of nurturing, fruitfulness, and blessings.

"May God Almighty [El Shaddai] bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers"
--Gen. 28:3

"I am God Almighty [El Shaddai]: be fruitful and increase in number."
--Gen. 35:11

"By the Almighty [El Shaddai] who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts [shadayim] and of the womb [racham]"
-- Gen. 49:25

God as a mother hen:

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!  Mat 23

Safely hidden under the shadow of el shaddai's wings:

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty[El Shaddai].

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

--Psa 91

The sons of God are born from above, in the womb of Zion, heavenly Jerusalem.

Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.  --Psa 87:5

Maybe as Adam has the seed and Eve the egg.
Gentils have the seed and Jerusalem has the egg.
As God seperated Adam to create Eve the bringing together of the two=birth.
Maybe bringing together Jew and Gentile=Birth?

God divided the waters
God divided light from darkness
God divided the nations
