Going back to my literal ways--Does this say we are given a new body?  The literal body of Christ which Satan has no part in?

Ok bear with me, here, because I was looking at that passage in Jude today about strange flesh relative to the Nephilim:

7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Even though this is referencing sex between man and [male angel] as was desired by the men of Sodom, it is not called 'homo' but 'hetero' meaning there is a difference in the type of flesh between man and angel.  The angels have strange flesh relative to the men, that is, there are different types of bodies.

So what that passage you quoted is describing--is it a literal change of  the body--or, if you like, the flesh?

Does Jesus literally change the body of man on the cross?

We are the creation being born from above, but man has exalted himself. Born again carries the connotation of being born anew, but it appears that many have not died to self.
No spring yields both salt water and fresh "living" water, for what is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is Spirit. But what the Spirit perfectly unites, no man will separate, for the two shall become one; having a new heart of flesh.

I know, every name has some kind of meaning. You say that the devil is the accuser or adversary, but I am amazed that nobody here has explained what exactly this means. Try this on for size.........Leviathan is in the sea (sea of humanity).......leviathan is as the tongue, that NO MAN can tame, but GOD can put a hook (Christ) in it, and lead it where He would, giving it HIS breath to speak. This is why the serpents slayed them in the wilderness (they reaped what they sowed, we are reproved with our OWN wickedness), yet they had to make a BRAZEN (speaks of judgment to the flesh, the brazen altar for killing flesh, also the cross) serpent, ie. a serpent/tongue that went to the cross, to look up upon and be healed/made whole.

Serpents live in the dust realm, but looking up at one raised from the dead (dust realm), since we become what we behold (changed as we perceive from glory to glory), makes us whole and changes our position which changes our confession, which changes what we reap. This is why He said He ONLY spoke that which He heard His Father speak, because He was overcoming leviathan in what He (as the pre-existant Christ) had been lowered into.

Which is why Paul said, our CONVERSATION is from HEAVEN (as we behold the serpent on a pole). You can't speak out of a place you've never been before. Being seated in heavenly places does NOT mean we're sitting down; a seat is a foundation, the SEA below us becomes as glass (hardened as rock), the letter Word accomplished in us becomes the foundation Rock we stand on, our "footstool", just as it was His footstool, ie. "the earth is My footstool, and heaven is my throne".

The 12 tribes are represented by 12 zodiac signs. The 4 main tribes are the 4 beasts near God's throne.
My guess is that each tribe has a certain task/quality. The naming of the tribe signals a new type of age. Or something else. I'm sorta convinced the verse is not about how perfectly Jesus predicted that the man would be there. Just like a parable it's a rather useless factoid with a much grander meaning below the surface...
