Pretty good article  . . . I notice the comments following were a bit reserved and even a little distant from the idea of the truth of what's being said.  I still find it amusing that those who are concerned about UR supporters being the ones that are offering inaccurate and false doctrine when they themselves are standing in the middle of a broken system themselves.

The two biggest extremist in Christianity seem to be, firstly, those who preach a gospel of judgment in which they feel called to terrify children (and adults) with threats of hellfire,
and secondly, those who adopt an anti science position (denying things like evolution)

Hu? I'm very sure many ETs are anti-science too.
Later on in the artice he only speaks about ETs and URs. Should I conclude all URs rejected science?

And presumably, the torment of Hell can only be quantified as a comparison to the glory of Heaven, just as the feeling of not being in love is only felt in its fullness when the absence of that love is most tangible.  Only when the heart is broken does the absence of love become unbearable,

Kind of reminds me of how Pope Karol Wojtyla says hell is the absence of love or the Holy Spirit's presence... I think JP II believed "hell" was a metaphor...

I had to re-read that too.  I think he's saying the "ETers" and "anti-sciencers" are both in the same group, but it's confusing the way he worded it.   :2c:

I enjoyed the article although James' vision is still somewhat impaired by the traditions and teachings of men, I might comment on the article when I'm not so busy, in the meantime we'll have to pray for brother James Knight that the Lord would give him a spirit of wisdom and revelation to see the Lords all-sufficient Grace has ushered in His all-inclusive Gospel.

It's good to see both of you agree :winkgrin:
But I still don't understand.
I've seen ETs and URs that do and do not believe in (certain parts of) science. (likely it's the same with EDs).
Maybe it's not of real importance for the article but then I wonder why the author even mentions it....
