Doctors are God's angels on earth.

I know this because when I asked Jesus to send me legions of angels, he sent ten people, five of whom were doctors.

Jesus came to give us life and give it to us abundantly.

To that end, he has given us modern medicine.  It is a gift.  Use it and Praise God.

John 10:10
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

It reminds me of a joke I heard about a man stuck on his roof during a flood praying to God for deliverance.  A boat came by, a chopper but he refused waiting for God to physically lift him from the roof.  When he went to heaven he asked God why he didn't deliver him.  God stated that he sent a boat and a chopper.

God uses others in physical and spiritual healing.  It's the reason God made us with strengths and weaknesses.  Its so we need to rely on each other for what we don't have.  We are not to just need God but to need those around us.  I truly believe that.

Micah I'm sure you have a very good reason to be angry with physicians.  But, if you are honest you know that physicians relieve some of the suffering on earth.  And I can't see how that is bad.

Quote from: Micahso now this life that is given more abundantly is that this earthy, natural, dying life? Or does it speak of spirit life? Life in the Spirit more abundantly? I am quite curious.

I think it's both.  Jesus healed both physically and spiritually.

QuoteAnd isnt 10 far different from legions?

Yeah, but it was all that was needed.  These were world class angels.

What was their message if I may ask. Angels are but messengars as far as my understanding goes, they brought you your answer to your situation and circumstance I take it?

micah7:9

To whom it may concern, I have no anger nor ill thoughts against any physican. I believe they have a place and do their job and most do it well. My only thought is that man has evolved( and I use that word with intent) in depending on the physcian first and then, should things go arwy, then one turns to THE  HEALER, in hopes that the Healer will do what the man needs to be done. It is by His, The Healer's WILL that things get done. Man, because of physicans today and their wonderous works, seek the physcian first and THEN The Healer.

Now, that makes sense.  I would agree with you.  Many times people go to the lesser healers first and not to the source of healing.  I must admit I am guilty of going to the bottle of tylenol before I go to prayer for a headache.

Used 39 translations and found these when I looked up saviour, there are probably many more verses using saviour but I would go with saviour over "haelende" "author of my life" "myn helthe""virifier" or "healer" (even tho He was)
I think that it can be stated as a fact that (almost) a translations newer than 1600 use Saviour. Translation is also a science. Perhaps proof was found Saviour fits best.

In a way Jesus saves by healing. Jesus doesn't really save sinners. "all come to the knowledge of the truth".
In a way that knowledge is healing. And that healing leads to salvation...

I'm feeling part of that.  I do believe Jesus saves sinners.  But, the natural consequence of sin is death....we grow ill in our sins, diseased, waste away and perish.  Knowledge is certainly healing because it's the first step in any change.  Without knowledge that we need Christ, that we are dead in sin...we can not seek his face.  The word is the source of healing.  It is our instruction book to health.

It is interesting as Ive posted some time ago that the words " save and body" avery closely related.
G4983 sōma the body (as a sound whole), used in a very wide application, literally or figuratively: - bodily, body, slave. From G4982  sōzō  to save, that is, deliver or protect (literally or figuratively): - heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole.

I feel that they are almost interchangeable, the body "is a sound whole" when saved, delivered, healed.

Not that odd because healing is done on bodies. But still interesting. Just as the linked meanings shown below.

Yes Amen. How much sicker or unhealthy can a body get than dying? Yes, Jesus came to save,  and that saving in essence is healing. I think when we understand more deeply that "getting saved" is not a trip to heaven, but a healing process that is taking place in our dying dead body. Praise the Lord and His Grace.

Micah did you notice "serve" is the primairy meaning of the word?
Often long chains of words can be made by following strong numbers.
Surely is fun but a good thing to do? :dontknow:

Yes. As He did for the whole world, an obiedient servant, for the worlds healing. He served us and  now my body(slave-servant) must become subject, serving unto Him.

Well according to some God made them take drugs so they died exactly how God planned it.  We are just puppets on a string and God placed the crack pipe in his mouth.   :mshock:

When you spell out this kind of thinking you see how utterly ridiculous it is.
