12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

It's not God telling us that we need to have the fear of hell to inspire us to love God.  That line of thinking is no longer viable.  What is happening is, believing in UR as well as other new aged thinking . . . (kingdom truths) is that it sets you free . . .it brings liberty and worst of all, it allows you to release your control over others.  My personal relationship is finally allowed to be just that . . .mine, and personal.  I no longer have a corporate relationship that is laid out according to my church, but it is honed and grafted into my personality . . .it allows me to be me, but at the same time, it transforms me into Him.

hi N.

well i agree but we are talking about others, it seems to be UR cant be forced, the soil of the heart need to be tilled and made ready.

the moment i heard about UR the light came on...WHY?

It was time.  that's a cop out answer sorta . . .backing up a step, I think it was time because you've been growing into this.  God graduated you from one level of understanding to another.  And you're exactly right . . .you can't convince everyone, only those whose soil is ready to receive this particular seed.  And there are seasons for that.  We're planters.  We're not the warriors we once were.  We can leave that up to the younger guys who still are invigorated by the sparring.  But when we allow our weapons to be transformed into plowshares, it's because we've matured into this relationship of God where he lets us out to pasture.  There are still warriors and the sparring armies out there, there always will be, but even though the army may be fighting the same battles, it's not the same individuals doing the fighting.  We're to allow time to mature us into different levels of living in Christ.

When it seems like "one day the lights just went on", what you're "really" telling me is, the day came when you retired into a whole new realm of God.  And to that I say . . .welcome home bro.

It strikes me that the same thing is true of "leading people to the Lord" to adopt the popular phraseology. No matter what you say or how you say it, aint nobody coming to the Father unless and until he drags them to Himself.

Don't blast me for taking a cautious approach to sharing UR and then expect no backlash. It doesn't sound like you ask God anything about who to share this message with. Some try to do what he asks of us on a case by case basis. Some of us ask God what we sould say before we say anything.

He will speak to you if you ask him. I'm talking prophetically not generally.

AISI the lack of God's  true message of UR does not enhance anyone at anytime. Yes, I have been wounded in the house of my friends but who cares? The one's who hear and are made free is worth it all. I shout UR from the housetops and every so often someone comes to me and says "Thank you - what you said set me free".

Be bold. Ignore the consequences of telling the truth because they are FAR BETTER than the consequences of telling a lie. Or aiding and abetting a lie through silence.

:cloud9: My whole walk has been in the face of adversity over sharing truth (ie. no rapture, ect.). What I'm saying is, that may be the reason HE revealed UR to us after HE had already pulled us out of the churches. That's sort of the ultimate doctrinal "no-no" so maybe He allowed us to dodge the bullet on that one, as far as being in the midst of a church when He dropped the "bomb". If I thought I was persecuted over the other things, surely that would have been 100 times worse (had I been in a church at the time). Blessings...

Don't ask God for guidance. Then you will be like many on this board, a lone wolf without a church fellowship to belong to.

We have many at our church that believe UR. God's guidance serves us well

Who says I don't ask God for guidance? Why do you assume that?

and I DO have a fellowship.

I fellowship with people online EVERYDAY.

Do you think that is somehow inferior??

I SURE DON'T.

I actually think it's quite wonderful. I have formed several wonderful relationships and I treasure them. I probably know more about them and them about me, being ONLINE then I would with being in person.

The internet is awesome for introverts like me. (not shy, mind you... but introverted.)

:icon_flower:

Amen Sparrow,  I agree with all you have said on this subject and I wonder why we aren't shouting this from the rooftops? Are we afraid of the persecution, or what?

By the way has anyone here heard of "Twitering"? This might be the fastest, with the most results of getting this message out to the world. I don't know how this Twittering works but I heard them talking about it on Larry King last night. You can talk to anyone all over the world about anything without email or forum. Demie Mores's husband got a million followers in a few weeks.

:cloud9: I understand your point. What I am saying is, that since He is the Lord of the harvest, He may at times withhold the knowledge of it until the person is ready to stand in what they have had revealed to them. He gives the hearing ear, so even if we shout it from the rooftops, until He gives that hearing ear, they won't hear it. That's all I'm trying to say about it. Blessings....

Mind if I throw in on this one?
Beings this is considered to be primarily a UR site, I guess there can be more leniency given for the most part, but there is sometimes a feeling . . .unintentinally I'm sure, that UR almost overshadows everything else that Jesus established.  I personally don't think it was a doctrinal belief that Jesus established, I lean more toward the idea that it was relationship that was being restored.  I am about as UR as I can be when it comes to accepting what it stands for.  And I'm also as aggressive about sharing it out as well.

But I think the point being missed here is, it's not meant to be thrown out to the masses for the crowd to grasp.  But I think it's created the way it is because it requires that a relationship with individuals would first be established before sharing the deeper things that do indeed set the captives free.  There is no one more anxious than me to see this aspect of Truth of the kingdom as well as the countless other things God is revealing to us, to be released on the world as a whole, but you can't plant a garden in one move, it takes order and the appropriate amount of preparing the soil.

I believe UR is for meateaters.  And not everyone is spiritually mature enough to chew on the meat.  So for those, milk is still the main diet, which is fine so long as there is an expectancy that they will be eventually entering into the banquet of meat . . .I just personally think this is the missing link in most mainline churches . . .they're not willing to leave the elementary things of Christ behind them as Scripture encourages us to do.  And when they embrace the thing they're supposed to be letting go of, consequences occur.  And for the most part, that manifests by rejection and aggressions.

Jesus didn't reveal the imtimate secrets of his nature with just anyone . . .he delivered life through parables, and those that were the closest to him would be the only ones that he'd take time to break down the riddles of where the parables fit in them.  And even "then" understanding didn't fully come until the Holy Spirit was poured out.

I tell my church to be careful who they pour out the deeper things on.  Yes, it's meant to be shared, but not in mass, and not all at once . . .it's given in measures to those who are mature enough to swallow it.  There are seasons for planting, and seasons for harvesting . . .and seasons for with-holding the seed . . .farmers don't plant when the ground is frozen . . .and we shouldn't be planting when the listeners are hardened against the idea.  You can tell right away when the listener is receptive, or when a listener is critical.

Critical listeners evoke arguments and accusations.  Hungry listeners literally will create an excitement in you as you feel the potential of changing the life of another through your seeds you are planting.

Hebrews

Chapter 5
12 For when also, because of the time, you ought to be teachers, you have need again of one to teach you what are the rudimentary elements of the oracles of God, and you have come to have need of milk, and not of solid nourishment.
13 For everyone who is partaking of milk is untried in the word of righteousness, for he is a minor.
14 Now solid nourishment is for the mature, who, because of habit, have faculties exercised for discriminating between the ideal and the evil.

Chapter 6
1 Wherefore, leaving the word dealing with the rudiments of Christ, we should be brought on to maturity, (not again disrupting the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith on God,
2 of the teaching of baptizings, besides the imposition of hands, and the resurrection of the dead, and of judgment eonian).
3 And this will we be doing, that is, if God may be permitting.

Universal Reconciliation is largely pertaining to the category of "setting things right (or, judgment) appropriate to the age in which they occur."  Last in the list of "elementary principles" in Hebrews (followed by "maturity," or, the finishing work, category seven) "judgment eonian" is what King James Version gives as "eternal judgment."  The context introduces and goes on into "meat," which is about Priesthood in the Melchizedek Order.  This should be considered experiential, as words concerning the foundation here indicate.  Immediately leading up to the six points of baby-talk, things concerning minors, it speaks of being "tried in the word" and concerning our "habit."  We are to have "nourishment" and have our "faculties exercised."  Following the list it describes being "enlightened" as well as "tasting" and "partaking."  We are members of the body of God's appointed High Priest.  To know the indwelling of the Spirit sent by the Father in the name of Jesus means we have participation in the Melchizedek Priesthood.

"Resurrection," mentioned prior to judgment eonian, is also often thought of as advanced teaching, something way out there or maybe for our grandchildren.  This reveals how little of the foundation is actually there.  Well, it is there in the person of the Lord Jesus; but, what if people who know Him were well taught?  What is laid again and again is the first two of the list, "repentance from dead works, and of faith on God."  The truth is, we experience things relating to resurrection life as soon as we encounter Jesus in reality, for He is the resurrection and His life is a transfigured and ascended life.  We are the flesh of God in the earth.

Since there's already more than one post regarding the meat verses the milk of the Word and that seems to be the direction the thread's heading, I'm going to try to avoid hijacking the thread with many specifics of what I'm referring to in some of my previous posts, but for those who sincerely want to test their stamina for the higher protein diet of the Kingdom of Christ, spend some time with Philemon 1:16.  Spend a few days messing with that one, as you shower or whenever you have the time to devote to a single verse.  And as Jesus would say it, "for those that can accept it," I believe that verse is more advanced than 2Corinthians 5:16 and a few other verses thought to teach the exact same thing.  I'm not saying that they don't.

But Philemon 1:16 is where we're pretty much all headed towards, and if you can't SEE it yet, then just highlight it in one of your Bibles for the Holy Spirit to draw attention to it at a later time 'cause I genuinely read the book of Philemon five thousand, perhaps six thousand times before that one clicked and an avalanche of supporting verses that the Lord  was wanting tied together with that concept for me.

And it's been flavoring and informing my recent transition to Postmillenialism.  A lot of these seemingly contradictory things between translations, etc., is that we're allowing the spiritually shallow to say there are contradictions.  Just because someone doesn't understand something, doesn't mean there's a contradiction.  Just means you haven't seen through it yet.  That's all.  And the types and shadows, as Nathan and others have insisted all of this time, aren't just in all of the usual spots where everybody's already written about those thus far.  The Bible is very multidemensional, since it upholds the multiverse that God has created.  A lot of the ancient Rabbis would say that if you ever tried to change a single letter in the Torah, then you'd change the whole universe.  It's with that conviction in mind that John wrote at the end of the book of Revelation that you better not touch that prophecy he'd written OR ELSE.

This whole Creation is sooo interdependent upon all of the different layers, levels, and perspectives that there are to grow through.  And the Kingdom is no different.

:cloud9: Amen. He gave me something that bears that witness in making it life in me, that if the Word He speaks to our hearts is corrupted, then He (that part of Christ He is trying to make alive in us) will not resurrect (raise up in us).

Ever notice that when the Spirit of the Lord tells you something to do, or reveals something to you, the next thing that happens is your carnal mind (or the carnal minds of others not moving in the Spirit) will immediately try to change, even if only very slightly, the Word that came forth? Surely the Lord hath not said....

That is the corruption of the Word He's talking about in a spiritual sense, and the reason it won't raise up in you (become part of you), is because He will not give His glory to another image (other than the Word/Christ that He spoke to you). We must learn to discern when the voice of the corrupter comes and refuse to do anything but what sayeth the Lord to us personally. Blessings...

Surely the Lord hath not said....
I've been dealing with this very thing for a year and a half, where what God told me was so big, and what He told me to tell someone else was so big, that both me and the other person recoiled from the magnitude of it, to varying degrees and demensions.  I've rolled the care of the other person completely over on God, and ever since have been scrubbing the spiritual pee out of my own spiritual pants.  It was a very unusual, life changing Word with lasting consequences involving the future of the entire world.  I have to give what I said another 2 and a half years because of what Jesus said about cutting down the tree in the 4th year if it's not a fruit barer, inspite of the perfect Will of God for the nation to have lasted forever in the example that Jesus was giving that 4 year marker regarding.

Even where His perfect will is at, if it's not baring fruit, He will tell it to go ahead and go on to Hell, figuratively and especially literally as is the case with Israel's 70AD, things leading up to that and since then.  God is enormously patient with us, wanting us to enter into all of His best.  But there does come a point to cut off anything that's not baring fruit so that you/we/all of us can bare much, much more fruit, according to John 15.  Doesn't mean individuals necessarily go to Hell over it, although we all know the parable of the pottery and the potter that St. Paul alluded to from the Old Testament that when it didn't serve it's purpose, then time to break it and start over with something else.  (Thankfully, according to Revelation 2:26-27 we're potters of the clay along with Him.)

If we don't see the full fruit of something that He promised because we forfeit it, stumbling through our unbelief, He'll still account the matter settled as it says in Joshua that all of His promises to Israel were once and for all fulfilled.  Yet, generations died in the wilderness until someone enjoyed the tail end of the fruit that He'd intended.  But the Kingdom of Israel could have been 40 years longer in the Old Testament with more of the blessing of God than they ever saw, but they didn't faithfully keep the appointment of God with their promised land.  Yet, remarkably, they were made perfect with us according to the book of Hebrews chapters 11 and 12.  The sanctification and holiness of the nations coming from their discipleship to the Gospel is available to us in this generation.

If it's not until the next generation or the generation after that, then that's just that much less time that the world was at peace prior to the return of the Lord.  The appointments of the Mosaic Law and of the prophets of the Old Testament make it abundantly clear to me that God has only so long that He's willing to mess with the current earth before it's time for the New Earth and if we spend all of this time sucking on our thumbs wishing God would do something about all He's told us to do in bringing all of the thoughts of the nations captive to the obedience of Christ (2Corinthians 10), then oh well.  The Isaiah chapters 51 and 54 Garden of the Lord and city made of gems in settings of gold was still available to us all of this time!  The naysayers will say "but there are giants in the land," or "in my life."  But who is that uncircumcised Philistine to challenge the armies of the living God? (1Samuel 17)  World history can end gloriously if we'll take it by the throat with the Gospel and make all things new through Christ Jesus's High Priestly ministry. (2Corinthians 2:14)

Martin said, "The Isaiah chapters 51 and 54 Garden of the Lord and city made of gems in settings of gold was still available to us all of this time!  (2Corinthians 2:14) "

:cloud9: Amen! And that "city" is multiple habitations of the glorified High Priest in our midst, clothed in the  "garments" of righteousness (linen) that WE are, endowed with the life and light of the generations He is perfecting within us (jewels in the heart/on the chest), ie. they without US (to carry the them/the jewels of the ephod) cannot be made perfect, like a High Priest unto Melchisedek forever. Hallelujah! The anointing on that post Martin has stirred up the anointing in ME, praise you Lord Jesus!

To explain what I just wrote, I just had the revelation that the High Priest that He is, standing in His robes and ephod, is the physical earthly manifestation of Him as the city and His body, both "old" (12 tribes/jewels) and new (robes of righteousness we are; He as Spirit is enrobed in our bodies).

HALLELUJAH I GIVE YOU PRAISE O ANCIENT OF DAYS! I WORSHIP YOU! I just heaven on earth in a people that are called by His name. GLORY TO YOUR NAME FATHER! WE WORSHIP YOU!

Which is why He said....

Mt 13:52 - Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is like unto a man that is an householder (that keepeth his house,ie. the prince of darkness hath nothing is us), which bringeth forth out of his treasure things NEW AND OLD.

It's possible to tell the truth without being a bull in a China shop.  There's so many levels and layers of the truth.  And in saying this, I'm not talking about mixtures with lies.  I'm talking about degrees of clarity with the truth.  Promoting Christ as the Saviour of all of Creation is only argued with by a hyper-Calvinist.  I like the idea of using that as a seed and really promoting that.  Touch the Hell topic prematurely in some circles and you've essentially prematurely brought the full wrath of the Sanhedrin upon yourself prior to getting your seed sown in a wide enough section of the field before the home made/religion made weed killer starts getting squirted in every direction.

I'd prefer to leave enough seeds planted in the areas where most agree upon, so that as the plant that starts growing through the sidewalk starts parting the cement on all sides, there will at least be enough of the seed of the Kingdom coming up so that it'll rip through the foundations of the whole current resistance to the truths of the Universal Restoration.  Why not die like Samson where you're bringing down the pillars of the false temple down upon the whole thing?  Literally bulldozing things these days does nothing, but properly planted ideas can grow, and the smallest seed of the Kingdom of God can become a tall tree that the birds of the air can rest in it's branches.

I'd rather sneak in with what much of the current prevalent mindset would prematurely judge as tares than to just start gasolining their fields in a way where their insurance will cover it and they'll build up bigger opposition to the Universal Restoration.  Plant the seed and it'll grow.  Let the Word fight it's own fight without getting a bunch of flesh stirred up.  The Word will bring the deliverance, healing, etc. and make all things new.  But just going in with blasting caps without a license does nothing but get the religious Interpol after you.  While bad publicity can be a good thing regarding certain callings, at the same time, it's not always best for a seedling that can't yet endure a Hurricane Katrina.  Just as the tares can choke the good seed, the good seed properly nurtured will annihilate all of the tares.  It's all a matter of priorities, emphasis, and what you spend the most time nurturing.

It's not about weaknesses, previous generations of established bull, and a billion other distractions.  It's what you prioritize in your life that'll grow.  The flesh can pull and pull and pull and kick and scream about it's weaknesses, it's prior dogmas, etc.  But if you'll nurture the things of God in your life, in a community, and in the world, the 1Corinthians 3 and 2Corinthians 9 laws of God giving the increase will kick in and rip out all of the darkness from the inside out.  It's not from the outside in, but it'll grow from the inside out.  Everything in the Kingdom grows from the inside out as it's nurtured on the seed of the Word from your Bible.  A lot of people choke on the Bible 'cause it's a bag of seed rather than a field of harvests.  And I've gotten the inerrancy question thrown at me again recently, regarding the Bible.

The seed's not going to look like the harvest, so I can defend the seed all day long, but if you want to build an argument around harvests not being where you can see them, then we've ended our conversation.  Why?  Two entirely different subjects.  I'm not going to argue with anyone about particular chapters of the Bible 'cause they're not harvests.  That particular verse may be fertilizer.  Or it may be seed.  I haven't yet seen God or man totally apply all 31,173 verses in this world yet, so I don't know what does what yet.  But to prematurely call any part of it poison is just premature.  For all you know it may indeed be poison, but when properly understood, properly grown, and properly harvested it may be the very undoing of all you might get tempted to fuss about.  We haven't seen all of the harvests that there will ever be between now and the conclusion of the reign of Christ and beyond.

Casting pearls before the swine may be a little harsh when it's not always swine we're dealing with  . . . perhaps just spiritual infants instead . . .there are two different groups there for me.  But also for me, the emphasis for spreading what we see isn't trying to get it out to as many people as possible, as much as it is discerning who's ready for the seed and who isn't.

Seed from heaven is a precious thing and it's an honor to be the carrier of such a gift.  My purpose to share, and plant this seed is not to cover as much ground as I can, but it's to lead others into something that will set them free from themselves.  Perhaps many of us come from a background of religious bondage so that we can be more effective at leading others out of theirs.  Seems to have been that way with Moses as well.

Either way, I think it's best to test the soil of the listener before trying to plant the seed in them.  How much is planted depends on the receptivity of the listener.  I think God when through great lengths and much, much patience to get me to see what I do . . .and as such, I think the same tenderness and patience is to be reapplied to those who I reproduce this seed into as well.

All this "pearls before swine" sentiment makes little sense.

So many have such a false picture of God, and so much of the world is the way it is because of this horribly false picture of God. It makes NO sense to hide the truth, conceal the truth, or wait around testing soil before you "plant seeds". Good news shouldn't be concealed.

All this "immature versus mature" and being "good gardners with your seeds of truth" and whatever else is just religious gobbledy gook. I used to think this way, too. I used to think this message or UR was a precious little seed that I had to carry around with me and figure out who was ready to hear it... when was the right time to say some little thing that may end up in a conversation about God? When did I ease into the subject? Is  this person ready? are they spiritually mature?

Well, I have completely washed my hands of that. I am just going to live this life that God put before me and I've stopped worrying about all that gardening nonsense. Just live it. Just live truth. It's never wrong to share what you believe with another human being. It's wrong to FORCE it down someone's throat. But it's never wrong to SIMPLY share what you believe with another human being.

No discerning for me. That's not my job. That's God's job. We are just brothers and sisters here. I share my beliefs on other forums, and I have no control over who reads my words. If someone isn't "ready", it won't sink in, it won't interest them. But maybe years down the road, something I wrote comes to their memory and maybe that will be just a little building block.

Just share your beliefs and stop worrying so much.

No need to cram anything down anyone's throats.
But simply sharing what YOU believe about God does no one harm.

The world is in desperate need of the true beautiful picture of God.
So many are under the idea of the false picture of an eternal torment, psychopath god.
All this "spiritual infants" stuff is just religious gobbledy gook.

Simply Share.

Peace.

well, I can't help but think about the parable of the sower

that went about sowing his seed...the conditions of the soil

varied...some fell on rocky...was the sower to clear out the

rocks first.?..was the sower to stand guard against the bird

eating up the seed? Some fell on 'good' soil...

what is this 'good' soil? this abundant heart that rejoices over

the salvation of all mankind.Evidently it's someone that loves

their brother[all mankind] as themselves. He said,if you don't

love your brother, who you can see..how can you love me?

And if the love of God was in you, you would love me

Seems it was the same when HE walked about sowing His

   seed.....

...isn't that the way it goes.......

the  seed of the salvation of all mankind was sown in me

thirty six years ago...but didn't spring up til 2002..Then I

found out things I didn't know...HE GAVE IT TO ME....

I had heard it ONCE in 1973..then not mentioned again..

why? He had to bring my heart condition around..He had to tell

me a few things, cause me to go through a few things. It finally

came to a point where I quit looking about for others to help

me with my relationship with God,quit following man's teachings

They said they knew Him, I wanted to know Him..so I

followed their lead...they didn't know 'jack' about Him,they led

me into error. He chose my delusion..coz I rejected what He

really is 'LOVE"  their 'god' was ugly...no love there...shortly

before I left there I saw a monster with God's name in his

mouth . now that was a disgusting image

If people KNOW HE IS SAVING EVERYONE..THEN THEY KNOW

HE IS LOVE....THEN THEY WILL KNOW HIM

This salvation of all mankind is GOD'S GLORY WERE TALKING

       ABOUT....remember..

      .HE IS TO RETURN ......

         ...IN HIS FATHER'S GLORY

It is God that has and will do this..not us...

     LOVE NEVER FAILS

I think not because:

Matthew 13:27-30  So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?  28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?  29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.  30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

I hope you didn't ask a rethorical question.... :mblush:
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...
