greetings all and blessings.
i was talking with a friend at work, he saud we are missing something, that it was never Gods intention for us all to believe in UR and we should tread lightly when teaching it to the masses.
""God needs men to fear hell to keep them in line""
I somewhat agree with this but for me UR spurs me on to love as ive never loved before and to seek to bless others as much as possible.
now realize i am / was a real scumbag and i personally needed UR to be revealed to me.
Does God give each one of us what we need to live godly in Christ Jesus UR or not?
thoughts? has this topic been discussed before?

12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
It's not God telling us that we need to have the fear of hell to inspire us to love God. That line of thinking is no longer viable. What is happening is, believing in UR as well as other new aged thinking . . . (kingdom truths) is that it sets you free . . .it brings liberty and worst of all, it allows you to release your control over others. My personal relationship is finally allowed to be just that . . .mine, and personal. I no longer have a corporate relationship that is laid out according to my church, but it is honed and grafted into my personality . . .it allows me to be me, but at the same time, it transforms me into Him.

this is a very old opinion, Bengel hold this view, also Origen and Jerome as far is I know, maybe only those who are concerned about the fate of the unbelievers realize it

It was time. that's a cop out answer sorta . . .backing up a step, I think it was time because you've been growing into this. God graduated you from one level of understanding to another. And you're exactly right . . .you can't convince everyone, only those whose soil is ready to receive this particular seed. And there are seasons for that. We're planters. We're not the warriors we once were. We can leave that up to the younger guys who still are invigorated by the sparring. But when we allow our weapons to be transformed into plowshares, it's because we've matured into this relationship of God where he lets us out to pasture. There are still warriors and the sparring armies out there, there always will be, but even though the army may be fighting the same battles, it's not the same individuals doing the fighting. We're to allow time to mature us into different levels of living in Christ.
When it seems like "one day the lights just went on", what you're "really" telling me is, the day came when you retired into a whole new realm of God. And to that I say . . .welcome home bro.

1Ti 4:9-11 Faithful is the saying and worthy of all welcome
(10) (for for this are we toiling and being reproached),
that we rely on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all mankind,
(11) especially of believers. These things be charging and teaching.
We are to charge and teach that God is the Saviour of all mankind, especially of believers. This is faithful and worthy of all welcome. But, as verse ten also says, "for this we are toiling and being reproached.
No one likes to be reproached. But it comes with the territory if you are going to be giving out that which is faithful and worthy of all welcome that God is the Saviour of all mankind, especially of believers.
These things be charging and teaching.
It is not faithful nor is it worthy of all welcome that God will not save all mankind.

I Corinthians 14:33 for God is not {a God} of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints." I believe
men needs the masses to believe in hell to supress and be master over them. I don't believe God needs to make people believe in a lie. Yet we do know that God made foolish the wisdom of the world.
Many people at our church beleive in UR but it is only shared with mature people. If someone immature and with the wrong heart hears the message they can cause alot of trouble.

It should be shared with all people, who is anyone to say if someone is immature or mature? Who is anyone to judge?
If they hear the message of God's love for all and they "cause trouble" then... so what? How is that any different from someone hearing the false message of ET and causing trouble?
and I can't help it... but I just almost have to laugh... I mean come on... if someone with the wrong heart hears the message they can cause trouble??? come on!! :happy3:
It DOESN'T MATTER.
A person is going to learn while on this earth, no matter what they believe or WHEN they believe it.
To say that Truth should be WITHHELD is wrong, imho.
Truth should never be withheld.
If you're thinking, oh they'll be like "Well we all are saved anyway, it doesn't matter what I do... woo hoo! I can go do whatever I like!" well, newsflash.... they're going to be brought through the refining fire just like EVERYONE ELSE.They are going to learn about love just like everyone else. The more "trouble" they cause, the more they are going to end up actually learning about love, in the long run. The Father's hand reaches as far as it needs to reach a person. There is no limit to how far He can reach. We can't do ANYTHING to get out of his reach.
peace.

I used to believe that. After reading that advice from Origen, for a while I tended to keep UR to myself or mature believers I thought could benefit from it. I admit I didn't pay too much attention to how much of my motive to keep it secret was I wanted human acceptance. Of course there are many other things we might share to benefit other believers that wouldn't be possible if they get offended with the idea we're trying to excuse sin by not believing in hell, which is a misrepresentation, but that's the result of what we're saying they think, so it's only right to say it that way while they cast our name out as evil.
I've come to believe it is only a matter of getting victory over someone's being controlled by what operates in darkness. Not as a naturally developing follower of Jesus for whom the truth does good, but for one diverted by religious tradition and deception it is good to be wise as serpents, using our tongues to get responses that indicate what state our hearers are in so as to improve our opportunity to rescue them from lies that prevent them from coming to the knowledge of God. Otherwise, the fact that the carnal mind can take any truth and use it to our destruction should not be used to with hold the truth. An elitist spirit is very unattractive to the guiless nature of Jesus.
UR is just another opportunity for those disobedient to the truth to justify their lawlessness. The same objection can be made to the simple truth of the grace of God even if it's extent is unknown. I knew a man that said as a Christian he was free to have a different woman every so often, because Christ died for our sins. Didn't I believe in the forgiveness of sins?
It should be shared with all people, who is anyone to say if someone is immature or mature? Who is anyone to judge?
UR is a subject very close to God's heart. When my pastor first shared it with me he said God only reveals it to a person with a heart to accept it. He cautioned me to share it wisely. I have also received prophetic words about the way UR is to be shared. The Lord does not want his church destroyed was one(in regards to a local church).
But by all means take a Kamakazi approach to UR. Don't ask God for guidance. Then you will be like many on this board, a lone wolf without a church fellowship to belong to.
We have many at our church that believe UR. God's guidance serves us well

Sure, God REVEALS it.
NOT YOU.
You share TRUTH with whoever you possibly can in this world!
You don't force it, but just share.
GOD does the revealing.
Not you.
That is the difference.
When a person's heart is in the right place... then God will reveal.
Sometimes even when a person's heart ISN'T in the right place, God will reveal... and it will help get their heart in the right place so that they can learn more and trust in God's love more.
God can do anything.
You don't have to be careful with sharing truth.
Truth is truth.

Don't blast me for taking a cautious approach to sharing UR and then expect no backlash. It doesn't sound like you ask God anything about who to share this message with. Some try to do what he asks of us on a case by case basis. Some of us ask God what we sould say before we say anything.
He will speak to you if you ask him. I'm talking prophetically not generally.

I made the assumption that you do not work in the prophetic.
Our church has been given several prophetic words that we are to be cautious with the UR message. I think I will listen to those words over yours telling me to shout it from the roof tops.
I feel a time is coming where this UR message will be preached and it will be the greatest blessing the church has received since Azuza.
I think we agree that we should listen to God.
Reconciliation of All is nothing new, nor has that every been hidden from view, but one must believe the truth in order to see it.
How can one believe, if not by hearing? :dontknow:

some pretty good posts here thanks.
well i do preach it and certianly i am reproached for it, what im saying is i wont/cant beat it into anyone, i was discussing some things with another,i seemed to have made them stumble even to the questioning of their faith, with kit gloves i had to tread on soft ground, i made it known that questioning doctrine isnt questioning God but in fact it is traditions that make the word of God of none effect.
this person stumbled to the point of asking what is he to beleive, how can he trust the word of God, its not the word of God but the traditions.
anyway i trust God and that God wont abandon those who seek but will reward.

John 21:21-23 (CLV)...
21 Peter, then, perceiving this one, is saying to Jesus, "Lord, yet what of this man?"
22 Jesus is saying to him, "If I should be wanting him to be remaining till I am coming, what is it to you? You be following Me!"
23 This word, then, came out to the brethren, that that disciple is not dying. Now Jesus did not say to him that he is not dying, but, "If I should be wanting him to be remaining till I am coming, what is it to you?"
David wouldn't lift his hand against Saul, though Saul, with his men, sought to kill him. David recognized Saul was the anointed of the Lord.
Philippians 1:15-18 (CLV)...
15 Some, indeed, are even heralding Christ because of envy and strife, yet some because of delight also;
16 these, indeed, of love, having perceived that I am located for the defense of the evangel,
17 yet those are announcing Christ out of faction, not purely, surmising to rouse affliction in my bonds.
18 What then? -- Morever, seeing that, by every method, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is being announced, I am rejoicing in this also, and will be rejoicing nevertheless.
You know the city foursquare which is the wife of the Lamb has twelve gates. Those entering opposite of you are travelling in the opposite direction to come into the glory of God. Those to one side are entering tangential to the path you trod. There are many more entering in directions other than yours than there are those who are approaching in your way.
It is important to be able to defend the truth God has given to you, to whatever extent He has granted you entrance; but, to not judge others for not being able to accept for now what you know. It takes time for the seed to bring forth fruit...and then, some have appointments where you cannot go. They are meant for another place than yours.
If you knew God and His truth perfectly I would assume you could enter sinless immortality in the next few minutes. You be sure to let me know when you do.
1 Corintians 4:3-13 (CLV)...
3 Now to me it is the least trifle that I may be being examined by you or by man's day. But neither am I examining myself.
4 For of nothing am I conscious as to myself, but not by this am I justified. Now He Who is examining me is the Lord.
5 So that, be not judging anything before the season, till the Lord should be coming, Who will also illuminate the hidden things of darkness and manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then applause will be coming to each one from God.
6 Now these things, brethren, I transfer in a figure to myself and Apollos because of you, that in us you may be learning not to be disposed above what is written, that you may not be puffed up, one over the one, against the other.
7 For who is making you to discriminate["differ" --KJV]? Now what have you which you did not obtain? Now if you obtained it also, why are you boasting as though not obtaining?
8 Already are you sated, already are you rich, apart from us you reign. And would that you surely reign, that we also should be reigning together with you!
9 For I suppose that God demonstrates with us, the last apostles, as death-doomed, for we became a theater to the world and to messengers and to men.
10 We are stupid because of Christ, yet you are prudent in Christ. We are weak, yet you are strong. You are glorious, yet we are dishonored.
11 Until the present hour we are hungering also and thirsting, and are naked and are buffeted and unsettled and toiling, working with our own hands.
12 Being reviled, we are blessing; being persecuted, we are bearing with it;
13 being calumniated, we are entreating. As the offscourings of the world we became, the scum of all things, hitherto.
Of course, those who believe in ceasless torture for ever do not believe that every human will be receiving praise from God, but that is what He said would happen on the day that He will, "...illuminate the hidden things of darkness and manifest the counsels of the hearts." (loc.cit., 1 Cor 4:5, CLV)
i think the point is being missed.
thanks any way folks and blessings to all.

And Chuck, I think I know what you mean. Everyone has a time and a season for all things contained therein. All things in the Word are for all people, but not all people will receive all things until He has prepared their heart. He gave me peace in this by showing me that is totally up to Him as to what anyone receives, so we are not to take it personally in any way, if they don't receive, because it was never up to us to begin with. HE is the Lord of the harvest. If He chooses to leave them in that perception of ET until they have matured enough to abide with Him out of love and not out of fear, then Amen.
Paul didn't want to receive either, but when his time came, he was given no choice, the eyes of his understanding were opened till that was ALL he could see. He does the same thing with us in the Spirit; when you have a new revelation have you ever noticed that it seems like that everywhere you look in the word, there it is, you can't see anything else? When it's their turn, they won't be able to see anything else, either. We can run, but we can't hide. :laughing7: Blessings...
Jeremiah 5:24
Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

From one going through the fires of sharing my belief in UR I'd have to agree with you. I am being trotted out in front of all the leadership groups in our church to attack (or try to correct) my views.
I am regretting even coming forward. I do believe that God has to prepare the soil with UR. With all the overwhelming evidence those around me have neither the eyes to see nor the ears to hear.
:cloud9: You know, that may be one reason why He didn't show me or others I know, until He had already pulled us out of the churches. They would surely have tried to kill the "seed" that was planted before it could grow. Blessings...

It strikes me that the same thing is true of "leading people to the Lord" to adopt the popular phraseology. No matter what you say or how you say it, aint nobody coming to the Father unless and until he drags them to Himself.

AISI the lack of God's
true message of UR does not enhance anyone at anytime. Yes, I have been wounded in the house of my friends but who cares? The one's who hear and are made free is worth it all. I shout UR from the housetops and every so often someone comes to me and says "Thank you - what you said set me free".
Be bold. Ignore the consequences of telling the truth because they are FAR BETTER than the consequences of telling a lie. Or aiding and abetting a lie through silence.
:cloud9: My whole walk has been in the face of adversity over sharing truth (ie. no rapture, ect.). What I'm saying is, that may be the reason HE revealed UR to us after HE had already pulled us out of the churches. That's sort of the ultimate doctrinal "no-no" so maybe He allowed us to dodge the bullet on that one, as far as being in the midst of a church when He dropped the "bomb". If I thought I was persecuted over the other things, surely that would have been 100 times worse (had I been in a church at the time). Blessings...

I don't know how this Twittering works but I heard them talking about it on Larry King last night. You can talk to anyone all over the world about anything without email or forum. Demie Mores's husband got a million followers in a few weeks.

Personally I think the best way to spread the message is with this site. Requires a little work and then Google does the rest...
PEOPLE!!
im not afraid of persecution! i say bring it on, im talking about choking someone with too much meat all at once.

:cloud9: I understand your point. What I am saying is, that since He is the Lord of the harvest, He may at times withhold the knowledge of it until the person is ready to stand in what they have had revealed to them. He gives the hearing ear, so even if we shout it from the rooftops, until He gives that hearing ear, they won't hear it. That's all I'm trying to say about it. Blessings....
Mind if I throw in on this one?
Beings this is considered to be primarily a UR site, I guess there can be more leniency given for the most part, but there is sometimes a feeling . . .unintentinally I'm sure, that UR almost overshadows everything else that Jesus established. I personally don't think it was a doctrinal belief that Jesus established, I lean more toward the idea that it was relationship that was being restored. I am about as UR as I can be when it comes to accepting what it stands for. And I'm also as aggressive about sharing it out as well.
But I think the point being missed here is, it's not meant to be thrown out to the masses for the crowd to grasp. But I think it's created the way it is because it requires that a relationship with individuals would first be established before sharing the deeper things that do indeed set the captives free. There is no one more anxious than me to see this aspect of Truth of the kingdom as well as the countless other things God is revealing to us, to be released on the world as a whole, but you can't plant a garden in one move, it takes order and the appropriate amount of preparing the soil.
I believe UR is for meateaters. And not everyone is spiritually mature enough to chew on the meat. So for those, milk is still the main diet, which is fine so long as there is an expectancy that they will be eventually entering into the banquet of meat . . .I just personally think this is the missing link in most mainline churches . . .they're not willing to leave the elementary things of Christ behind them as Scripture encourages us to do. And when they embrace the thing they're supposed to be letting go of, consequences occur. And for the most part, that manifests by rejection and aggressions.
Jesus didn't reveal the imtimate secrets of his nature with just anyone . . .he delivered life through parables, and those that were the closest to him would be the only ones that he'd take time to break down the riddles of where the parables fit in them. And even "then" understanding didn't fully come until the Holy Spirit was poured out.
I tell my church to be careful who they pour out the deeper things on. Yes, it's meant to be shared, but not in mass, and not all at once . . .it's given in measures to those who are mature enough to swallow it. There are seasons for planting, and seasons for harvesting . . .and seasons for with-holding the seed . . .farmers don't plant when the ground is frozen . . .and we shouldn't be planting when the listeners are hardened against the idea. You can tell right away when the listener is receptive, or when a listener is critical.
Critical listeners evoke arguments and accusations. Hungry listeners literally will create an excitement in you as you feel the potential of changing the life of another through your seeds you are planting.
Hebrews
Chapter 5
12 For when also, because of the time, you ought to be teachers, you have need again of one to teach you what are the rudimentary elements of the oracles of God, and you have come to have need of milk, and not of solid nourishment.
13 For everyone who is partaking of milk is untried in the word of righteousness, for he is a minor.
14 Now solid nourishment is for the mature, who, because of habit, have faculties exercised for discriminating between the ideal and the evil.
Chapter 6
1 Wherefore, leaving the word dealing with the rudiments of Christ, we should be brought on to maturity, (not again disrupting the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith on God,
2 of the teaching of baptizings, besides the imposition of hands, and the resurrection of the dead, and of judgment eonian).
3 And this will we be doing, that is, if God may be permitting.
Universal Reconciliation is largely pertaining to the category of "setting things right (or, judgment) appropriate to the age in which they occur." Last in the list of "elementary principles" in Hebrews (followed by "maturity," or, the finishing work, category seven) "judgment eonian" is what King James Version gives as "eternal judgment." The context introduces and goes on into "meat," which is about Priesthood in the Melchizedek Order. This should be considered experiential, as words concerning the foundation here indicate. Immediately leading up to the six points of baby-talk, things concerning minors, it speaks of being "tried in the word" and concerning our "habit." We are to have "nourishment" and have our "faculties exercised." Following the list it describes being "enlightened" as well as "tasting" and "partaking." We are members of the body of God's appointed High Priest. To know the indwelling of the Spirit sent by the Father in the name of Jesus means we have participation in the Melchizedek Priesthood.
"Resurrection," mentioned prior to judgment eonian, is also often thought of as advanced teaching, something way out there or maybe for our grandchildren. This reveals how little of the foundation is actually there. Well, it is there in the person of the Lord Jesus; but, what if people who know Him were well taught? What is laid again and again is the first two of the list, "repentance from dead works, and of faith on God." The truth is, we experience things relating to resurrection life as soon as we encounter Jesus in reality, for He is the resurrection and His life is a transfigured and ascended life. We are the flesh of God in the earth.

Since there's already more than one post regarding the meat verses the milk of the Word and that seems to be the direction the thread's heading, I'm going to try to avoid hijacking the thread with many specifics of what I'm referring to in some of my previous posts, but for those who sincerely want to test their stamina for the higher protein diet of the Kingdom of Christ, spend some time with Philemon 1:16. Spend a few days messing with that one, as you shower or whenever you have the time to devote to a single verse. And as Jesus would say it, "for those that can accept it," I believe that verse is more advanced than 2Corinthians 5:16 and a few other verses thought to teach the exact same thing. I'm not saying that they don't.
But Philemon 1:16 is where we're pretty much all headed towards, and if you can't SEE it yet, then just highlight it in one of your Bibles for the Holy Spirit to draw attention to it at a later time 'cause I genuinely read the book of Philemon five thousand, perhaps six thousand times before that one clicked and an avalanche of supporting verses that the Lord was wanting tied together with that concept for me.
And it's been flavoring and informing my recent transition to Postmillenialism. A lot of these seemingly contradictory things between translations, etc., is that we're allowing the spiritually shallow to say there are contradictions. Just because someone doesn't understand something, doesn't mean there's a contradiction. Just means you haven't seen through it yet. That's all. And the types and shadows, as Nathan and others have insisted all of this time, aren't just in all of the usual spots where everybody's already written about those thus far. The Bible is very multidemensional, since it upholds the multiverse that God has created. A lot of the ancient Rabbis would say that if you ever tried to change a single letter in the Torah, then you'd change the whole universe. It's with that conviction in mind that John wrote at the end of the book of Revelation that you better not touch that prophecy he'd written OR ELSE.
This whole Creation is sooo interdependent upon all of the different layers, levels, and perspectives that there are to grow through. And the Kingdom is no different.

:cloud9: Amen. He gave me something that bears that witness in making it life in me, that if the Word He speaks to our hearts is corrupted, then He (that part of Christ He is trying to make alive in us) will not resurrect (raise up in us).
Ever notice that when the Spirit of the Lord tells you something to do, or reveals something to you, the next thing that happens is your carnal mind (or the carnal minds of others not moving in the Spirit) will immediately try to change, even if only very slightly, the Word that came forth? Surely the Lord hath not said....
That is the corruption of the Word He's talking about in a spiritual sense, and the reason it won't raise up in you (become part of you), is because He will not give His glory to another image (other than the Word/Christ that He spoke to you). We must learn to discern when the voice of the corrupter comes and refuse to do anything but what sayeth the Lord to us personally. Blessings...

Surely the Lord hath not said....
I've been dealing with this very thing for a year and a half, where what God told me was so big, and what He told me to tell someone else was so big, that both me and the other person recoiled from the magnitude of it, to varying degrees and demensions. I've rolled the care of the other person completely over on God, and ever since have been scrubbing the spiritual pee out of my own spiritual pants. It was a very unusual, life changing Word with lasting consequences involving the future of the entire world. I have to give what I said another 2 and a half years because of what Jesus said about cutting down the tree in the 4th year if it's not a fruit barer, inspite of the perfect Will of God for the nation to have lasted forever in the example that Jesus was giving that 4 year marker regarding.
Even where His perfect will is at, if it's not baring fruit, He will tell it to go ahead and go on to Hell, figuratively and especially literally as is the case with Israel's 70AD, things leading up to that and since then. God is enormously patient with us, wanting us to enter into all of His best. But there does come a point to cut off anything that's not baring fruit so that you/we/all of us can bare much, much more fruit, according to John 15. Doesn't mean individuals necessarily go to Hell over it, although we all know the parable of the pottery and the potter that St. Paul alluded to from the Old Testament that when it didn't serve it's purpose, then time to break it and start over with something else. (Thankfully, according to Revelation 2:26-27 we're potters of the clay along with Him.)
If we don't see the full fruit of something that He promised because we forfeit it, stumbling through our unbelief, He'll still account the matter settled as it says in Joshua that all of His promises to Israel were once and for all fulfilled. Yet, generations died in the wilderness until someone enjoyed the tail end of the fruit that He'd intended. But the Kingdom of Israel could have been 40 years longer in the Old Testament with more of the blessing of God than they ever saw, but they didn't faithfully keep the appointment of God with their promised land. Yet, remarkably, they were made perfect with us according to the book of Hebrews chapters 11 and 12. The sanctification and holiness of the nations coming from their discipleship to the Gospel is available to us in this generation.
If it's not until the next generation or the generation after that, then that's just that much less time that the world was at peace prior to the return of the Lord. The appointments of the Mosaic Law and of the prophets of the Old Testament make it abundantly clear to me that God has only so long that He's willing to mess with the current earth before it's time for the New Earth and if we spend all of this time sucking on our thumbs wishing God would do something about all He's told us to do in bringing all of the thoughts of the nations captive to the obedience of Christ (2Corinthians 10), then oh well. The Isaiah chapters 51 and 54 Garden of the Lord and city made of gems in settings of gold was still available to us all of this time! The naysayers will say "but there are giants in the land," or "in my life." But who is that uncircumcised Philistine to challenge the armies of the living God? (1Samuel 17) World history can end gloriously if we'll take it by the throat with the Gospel and make all things new through Christ Jesus's High Priestly ministry. (2Corinthians 2:14)
Martin said, "The Isaiah chapters 51 and 54 Garden of the Lord and city made of gems in settings of gold was still available to us all of this time! (2Corinthians 2:14) "
:cloud9: Amen! And that "city" is multiple habitations of the glorified High Priest in our midst, clothed in the "garments" of righteousness (linen) that WE are, endowed with the life and light of the generations He is perfecting within us (jewels in the heart/on the chest), ie. they without US (to carry the them/the jewels of the ephod) cannot be made perfect, like a High Priest unto Melchisedek forever. Hallelujah! The anointing on that post Martin has stirred up the anointing in ME, praise you Lord Jesus!
To explain what I just wrote, I just had the revelation that the High Priest that He is, standing in His robes and ephod, is the physical earthly manifestation of Him as the city and His body, both "old" (12 tribes/jewels) and new (robes of righteousness we are; He as Spirit is enrobed in our bodies).
HALLELUJAH I GIVE YOU PRAISE O ANCIENT OF DAYS! I WORSHIP YOU! I just heaven on earth in a people that are called by His name. GLORY TO YOUR NAME FATHER! WE WORSHIP YOU!
Which is why He said....
Mt 13:52 - Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is like unto a man that is an householder (that keepeth his house,ie. the prince of darkness hath nothing is us), which bringeth forth out of his treasure things NEW AND OLD.
Having a joy attack over here..... :trampoline: :egyptdance: Blessings to all....

It's possible to tell the truth without being a bull in a China shop. There's so many levels and layers of the truth. And in saying this, I'm not talking about mixtures with lies. I'm talking about degrees of clarity with the truth. Promoting Christ as the Saviour of all of Creation is only argued with by a hyper-Calvinist. I like the idea of using that as a seed and really promoting that. Touch the Hell topic prematurely in some circles and you've essentially prematurely brought the full wrath of the Sanhedrin upon yourself prior to getting your seed sown in a wide enough section of the field before the home made/religion made weed killer starts getting squirted in every direction.
I'd prefer to leave enough seeds planted in the areas where most agree upon, so that as the plant that starts growing through the sidewalk starts parting the cement on all sides, there will at least be enough of the seed of the Kingdom coming up so that it'll rip through the foundations of the whole current resistance to the truths of the Universal Restoration. Why not die like Samson where you're bringing down the pillars of the false temple down upon the whole thing? Literally bulldozing things these days does nothing, but properly planted ideas can grow, and the smallest seed of the Kingdom of God can become a tall tree that the birds of the air can rest in it's branches.
I'd rather sneak in with what much of the current prevalent mindset would prematurely judge as tares than to just start gasolining their fields in a way where their insurance will cover it and they'll build up bigger opposition to the Universal Restoration. Plant the seed and it'll grow. Let the Word fight it's own fight without getting a bunch of flesh stirred up. The Word will bring the deliverance, healing, etc. and make all things new. But just going in with blasting caps without a license does nothing but get the religious Interpol after you. While bad publicity can be a good thing regarding certain callings, at the same time, it's not always best for a seedling that can't yet endure a Hurricane Katrina. Just as the tares can choke the good seed, the good seed properly nurtured will annihilate all of the tares. It's all a matter of priorities, emphasis, and what you spend the most time nurturing.
It's not about weaknesses, previous generations of established bull, and a billion other distractions. It's what you prioritize in your life that'll grow. The flesh can pull and pull and pull and kick and scream about it's weaknesses, it's prior dogmas, etc. But if you'll nurture the things of God in your life, in a community, and in the world, the 1Corinthians 3 and 2Corinthians 9 laws of God giving the increase will kick in and rip out all of the darkness from the inside out. It's not from the outside in, but it'll grow from the inside out. Everything in the Kingdom grows from the inside out as it's nurtured on the seed of the Word from your Bible. A lot of people choke on the Bible 'cause it's a bag of seed rather than a field of harvests. And I've gotten the inerrancy question thrown at me again recently, regarding the Bible.
The seed's not going to look like the harvest, so I can defend the seed all day long, but if you want to build an argument around harvests not being where you can see them, then we've ended our conversation. Why? Two entirely different subjects. I'm not going to argue with anyone about particular chapters of the Bible 'cause they're not harvests. That particular verse may be fertilizer. Or it may be seed. I haven't yet seen God or man totally apply all 31,173 verses in this world yet, so I don't know what does what yet. But to prematurely call any part of it poison is just premature. For all you know it may indeed be poison, but when properly understood, properly grown, and properly harvested it may be the very undoing of all you might get tempted to fuss about. We haven't seen all of the harvests that there will ever be between now and the conclusion of the reign of Christ and beyond.

Casting pearls before the swine may be a little harsh when it's not always swine we're dealing with . . . perhaps just spiritual infants instead . . .there are two different groups there for me. But also for me, the emphasis for spreading what we see isn't trying to get it out to as many people as possible, as much as it is discerning who's ready for the seed and who isn't.
Seed from heaven is a precious thing and it's an honor to be the carrier of such a gift. My purpose to share, and plant this seed is not to cover as much ground as I can, but it's to lead others into something that will set them free from themselves. Perhaps many of us come from a background of religious bondage so that we can be more effective at leading others out of theirs. Seems to have been that way with Moses as well.
Either way, I think it's best to test the soil of the listener before trying to plant the seed in them. How much is planted depends on the receptivity of the listener. I think God when through great lengths and much, much patience to get me to see what I do . . .and as such, I think the same tenderness and patience is to be reapplied to those who I reproduce this seed into as well.

All this "pearls before swine" sentiment makes little sense.
So many have such a false picture of God, and so much of the world is the way it is because of this horribly false picture of God. It makes NO sense to hide the truth, conceal the truth, or wait around testing soil before you "plant seeds". Good news shouldn't be concealed.
All this "immature versus mature" and being "good gardners with your seeds of truth" and whatever else is just religious gobbledy gook. I used to think this way, too. I used to think this message or UR was a precious little seed that I had to carry around with me and figure out who was ready to hear it... when was the right time to say some little thing that may end up in a conversation about God? When did I ease into the subject? Is this person ready? are they spiritually mature?
Well, I have completely washed my hands of that. I am just going to live this life that God put before me and I've stopped worrying about all that gardening nonsense. Just live it. Just live truth. It's never wrong to share what you believe with another human being. It's wrong to FORCE it down someone's throat. But it's never wrong to SIMPLY share what you believe with another human being.
No discerning for me. That's not my job. That's God's job. We are just brothers and sisters here. I share my beliefs on other forums, and I have no control over who reads my words. If someone isn't "ready", it won't sink in, it won't interest them. But maybe years down the road, something I wrote comes to their memory and maybe that will be just a little building block.
Just share your beliefs and stop worrying so much.
No need to cram anything down anyone's throats.
But simply sharing what YOU believe about God does no one harm.
The world is in desperate need of the true beautiful picture of God.
So many are under the idea of the false picture of an eternal torment, psychopath god.
All this "spiritual infants" stuff is just religious gobbledy gook.
Simply Share.
Peace.
well, I can't help but think about the parable of the sower
that went about sowing his seed...the conditions of the soil
varied...some fell on rocky...was the sower to clear out the
rocks first.?..was the sower to stand guard against the bird
eating up the seed? Some fell on 'good' soil...
what is this 'good' soil? this abundant heart that rejoices over
the salvation of all mankind.Evidently it's someone that loves
their brother[all mankind] as themselves. He said,if you don't
love your brother, who you can see..how can you love me?
And if the love of God was in you, you would love me
Seems it was the same when HE walked about sowing His
seed.....
...isn't that the way it goes.......
the seed of the salvation of all mankind was sown in me
thirty six years ago...but didn't spring up til 2002..Then I
found out things I didn't know...HE GAVE IT TO ME....
I had heard it ONCE in 1973..then not mentioned again..
why? He had to bring my heart condition around..He had to tell
me a few things, cause me to go through a few things. It finally
came to a point where I quit looking about for others to help
me with my relationship with God,quit following man's teachings
They said they knew Him, I wanted to know Him..so I
followed their lead...they didn't know 'jack' about Him,they led
me into error. He chose my delusion..coz I rejected what He
really is 'LOVE" their 'god' was ugly...no love there...shortly
before I left there I saw a monster with God's name in his
mouth . now that was a disgusting image
If people KNOW HE IS SAVING EVERYONE..THEN THEY KNOW
HE IS LOVE....THEN THEY WILL KNOW HIM
This salvation of all mankind is GOD'S GLORY WERE TALKING
ABOUT....remember..
.HE IS TO RETURN ......
...IN HIS FATHER'S GLORY
It is God that has and will do this..not us...
LOVE NEVER FAILS

I think not because:
Matthew 13:27-30 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
I hope you didn't ask a rethorical question.... :mblush:
This may be kind of blending two principles together here though . . .the parable of the 4 soils is about the different seasons of a person . . .different personalities and such . . .the one you just mentioned there WW is about the different seeds that are then planted.
And Sparrow, I wouldn't tell you to try to pull back . . but we are all in different places and you may feel free to unload the bombs on everyone, but unless the recipient is open to receive, those things you share may very well find their home in the mouths of the birds that come along and steal the seed intended for those you shared with. Of course, this good news is "for" everyone. But not everyone is in a place to receive it.
So rather than me spending my time sharing it with those already shut off to it, wouldn't it be much more profitable to first be a little more discerning about the level of acceptance first? I think to call this line of thinking a bunch of gobbly gook is a bit harsh as well.
In fact, it sort of proves the point . . .your soil is not receptive to this principle and the result is rejection. No condemnation here, just an observation.
I believe we are at a point in time when we should try to share the truth to all. I do believe it is God who gives us this desire and he opens the mind not us.
When Jesus was on earth it was a different time. He told the disciples that they couldn't bear the truth. The Law was in force at that time. Then Paul came on the scene, the preaching of the word got bolder. Paul said in (Col.1:28) warning EVERY MAN, and teaching EVERY MAN in all wisdom. that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
Also (Col. 3:16) (Ro. 10:14) How shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
(2Tim. 4:2) "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine".
(2 Tim.4:5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, DO THE WORK OF AN EVANGELIST, MAKE FULL PROOF OF THY MINISTRY.

Hey brother,
I think gobbledy gook was a very gentle way of putting it, actually... :laughing7:
My "soil" is not receptive to what you are saying, because I've been in that soil before...and I have personally come to the conclusion that it makes no sense to stand around and try to "discern" what others SHOULD hear or NOT hear. Who are WE to judge that? It's ridiculous and I'm not going to sugar-coat my thoughts about this. (I'm not being harsh here, I hope you understand that. It may seem that way...but really, I'm not.)
What you fail to recognize is that for all of your "spiritual infants" and your "immature folks".... this idea, this TRUTH that you speak about to them... is not a SEED! You are not throwing seeds around, brother. God has ALREADY given every single human being on this planet THE SEED. It is within. It's ALWAYS been within. You are really just someone standing around with a little watering can, or little rays of sunshine. You may not see that seed become nurturted (by GOD) and grow into a beautiful flower... but that's not for YOU to worry about or concern yourself with. Brother.... just go on out there and shine.... :dsunny: Let God's beautiful love just SHINE in you.... The seeds have already been planted. This world needs God's LOVE to shine through us.
That's it.
That's all.
God is the Master Gardener, here... not us.
Just let His love shine through you.
Show folks there is a DIFFERENT way.
Show folks LOVE is real.Sometimes, you don't even have to say anything.
People remember stuff... when God brings you to truth, he helps you remember little things in your life, people in your life who have taught you something, but maybe it didn't ring true back then, but trust me... those memories have a way of working themselves back around to the present when God is leading you and teaching you.
Never withhold truth.
What is the truth?
GOD.IS.LOVE.
Just let His love shine :dsunny: through you.
Peace.
QuoteJust share your beliefs and stop worrying so much.
im not worried, i am however concered about making another stumble.
same principle taught here:
1Cr 8:9 But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.
QuoteNo need to cram anything down anyone's throats.
:sigh:
Ever count how many times Jesus instructed someone to tell no one? Even on the mount of transfiguration . . . Peter, James and John weren't even allowed to tell the rest of the disciples what just happened . . .doesn't that sound a bit strange that something so profound and powerful was to remain between just them?
thanks N for the reply.
i think there is a time a place for everything, and we must yeild to the spirit.
i think we get ahead of ourselves sometimes.
be that as it may, i wont feel guilty or be told i am fearful because i dont always push UR.
God bless
euty
I don't push it,but I speak it..to those who will hear it..
to some it falls on deaf ears. Some turn away and despise me
over it.Some rejoice with me over it.
You have to examine yourselves and your motives[if we can
even know what is in our heart} is it a sense of eliteism?
a shrinking back from possible rejection or persecution?
We all need to ask ourselves these things.
Get out of Babylon lest you receive part of her plagues..
what are these spiritual plagues? What about,as ye judge so
shall ye be judged? Should we let our brothers go on in
erronous blaspemy against God ,condemning the masses of
humanity to ET etc..and as unworthy of the mercy of God...and
in doing that very thing to come under judgement.Maybe we
are judging these 'messengers' as unworthy of the mercy of God
even the knowledge of the salvation that is their's and
mankinds..and that THIS SALVATION IS NOT OF THEMSELVES
BUT OF GOD'S HANDS.BY GRACE.Should we let them go on
thinking that their salvation is by their works?
A spirit of self-righteousness and lack of love for mankind in
them will cause them to refuse the message. When Father does
cause them to see where they are and have been in error they
can repent. Also, they will know Father testified to them of His
love and that they rejected it at that time, and you will serve
as a wittness to Father's love.

What I'm saying you guys is....
Just LOVE.
Let God's love shine through you anyway you can.
Truth is:
GOD IS LOVE.
Do you realize how much NON-LOVE there is in this world?
There is a DIFFERENT way.
The way of love.
Maybe this seems all too simplistic...
but I just don't think it needs to be so complicated.
Worrying about someone stumbling...
where's your faith? Come on now, guys...
If someone "stumbled" because you were exhibiting love, and showing them how much God loves us, and proclaiming His love for all... Do you see what I'm saying? Do you see how crazy that sounds? Shining a light on darkness is never a bad thing. Darkness is ignorance. Ignorance of the fact that God loves us with an unbelievable amount of love. But no. We want to keep that light to ourselves for fear of someone stumbling... Even IF someone stumbled, you don't think God is going to help them back up and make them even stronger? Don't we all stumble?
"stumbling" is all part of it. "Oh I don't want someone to stumble...." We stumble. We fall. God helps us back up. It's all part of life. If a person is going to "stumble" over truth, they will just as easily "stumble" over lies. So what's better? To let them stumble over lies or stumble over truth? At least with truth, that little seed within has gotten some nourishment.
Life is way too short.
Peace y'all... not much more I can say I guess.
These are my views, take what ya want and leave the rest.

"Now" we're getting somewhere . . .I think this attitude is the very reason why Jesus did tell many not to tell others . . .there are things that you can sound out to everyone and all will benefit from it. And there are things that require more than ears to hear and eyes to see . . .it's always . .for me . . .been about reproduction. I want to see not just UR, but all of God's will reproduced in me and in others through me. And the key to the reproduction isn't a message to the masses as much as it is relationships with one another . . .and that's where me loving them comes in.
"In" my relationship of love with another is where UR and other kingdom truths can birth from. It's a deeper experience that flourishes through relationships . . religion is preached in mass, but only Truth can manifest through relationship. So Sparrow, I am in agreement with you . . .love is the bottom line . .without it . .there is no relationship and there is no Truth to be birthed.

me too:
Love is patient, is kind. Love is not jealous. Love is not bragging, is not puffed up,
5 is not indecent, is not self-seeking, is not incensed, is not taking account of evil,
6 is not rejoicing in injustice, yet is rejoicing together with the truth,
7 is forgoing all, is believing all, is expecting all, is enduring all.
8 Love is never lapsing: yet, whether prophecies, they will be discarded, or languages, they will cease, or knowledge, it will be discarded.
9 For out of an instalment are we knowing, and out of an instalment are we prophesying.
