:cloud9: I'm not saying I think there are two souls in man.....I'm saying I think the Jews saw the difference between a redeemed one and the carnal beastly nature of one, and they THOUGHT it was two. But not having read their materials on what they based that on, it's just my best guess. Blessings...
"I would rather train twenty men to pray, than a thousand to preach; A minister's highest mission ought to be to teach his people to pray." -H. MacGregor

To me all those in Adam are made up of water, blood and the spirit, but after the fall are now and are accounted spiritually dead.

But the second adam is he from heaven, who is made up of father, son, holyghost.

Those who come to christ are now accounted as bourning the image of the heavanly, the spirit quickeneth our spirits and our mortal bodies

John 14:20

So to me when Jews speaks of two souls they mean, that one soul be of the earth like Adam, but the other soul be alive like unto Christ, where God pours his spirit upon them to make them alive, for even in the old testament God poured his spirit upon the people. :2c:
