What does this Bible verse mean from a universal salvation prospective?
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Can you explain this verse as well.
Many chuches say that the basis for their faith is: the Bible is without error the Word of God.
I can accept that the original Hebrew and Greek texts before translation are the Word of God.
How can I accept my version of the Bible as the Word of God if it contains translation errors? Is there a Bible version on the Internet in modern English which is the correct translation for universalists to read and I'll use it for Bible study? I have the Young's Literal Translation of the Bible but I don't understand it very well as it is written in Old English and I need a more modern version.

I just want to say there is no just one Bible translation perfect , only His Word is perfect by His own Spirit within us and that is for the time appointed making it complete in Him
We grow in Truth and grace and its not anything to do with mankind , it is everything to with His Word and Spirit dwelling in mankind by the increase of the Living God Himself
If you are hungering and thirsting after HIS righteousness , you will be filled !! none have doubts about that

I have tried them but they are hindering to me , not as much help , because some like me, are simple and need better explaining and easier words to express the thoughts , as plain speech .
I have a very hard time writing and processing thoughts down specifically :sigh: but keep trying anyways

walking in the Spirit and not according to the flesh any longer ,,, that carnally mindedness with worldly wisdom is an enemy against the Spirit of Gods wisdom & truth to me sis
Its Paul witnessing and telling us , we are free in the Spirit of Christ Life and Loving God and wanting to please Him ,
no longer loving the worldly things of our lives the carnal nature is the beast nature of animals that love to do there own thing naturally of whatever comes to mind by impulse and need to satisfy the craving of lusts , desired things of the world offerings ,
also it is trying to bring the Living God down to our own level of intelligence , making us the foolish ones being yet carnal in nature
It is the first nature trying to rule over this new nature of Christ in us and not the other way around , we are to let the Christ nature rule over the carnal nature in us all allowing Him His rightful place seated in our hearts and minds as we are the temple of the Living God , We want Him to be our King and owner
One is slave to the other one , which one is ruling and reigning is declared and open as seen in our deeds /works as obvious to all
I believe the original ancient Hebrew and Greek manuscripts were inspired by God, but they don't exist anymore. There are thousands of imperfect copies from which come all the different versions. I was a die hard King James fan for many years until I became aware of the inaccuracies of translation. That's when I switched to Young's Literal Translation. By the way, there's a newer version of that with more modern English. But I switched to the Concordant Version when I became aware of some things that Young's Literal Translation shares with the King James Version, 1 John 5:7 being a prime example. The problem is the manuscript used. I use the Interlinear Scripture Analyzer, and even it has the adulterated Greek text shown because it uses the Textus Receptus. Older Greek manuscripts don't contain the added words, and they are considered to be more authentic. The Romans committed forgery in the translation of scripture to propagate their church doctrine after they were unsuccessful at suppressing scripture by torturing people and burning them at the stake. I think the Concordant Version is the most accurate translation, Joanna, even though I realize that there is no perfect translation because something is always lost in translation. Some people who try it go back to their King James because they're not used to it, but after you read it for awhile you don't even think about it being a problem. I think having to read the literal language is a small price to pay for knowing the truth of scripture. You have to figure out a few tricks to setting up the ISA to be most helpful, but I'll be glad to help if you want to check it out.
