Something just came to me... WW had an illustration of the Tabernacles to symbolize the different ages... and Card wrote this:
QuoteHoly of Holies/ both 1 day and eternity, wrapped up into one, because it's representative of the day (1000) of the Lord, Christ Jesus, who is without beginning or end. The dimensions of the Holy of Holies is as a perfect cube, the same on all sides, 10 X 10 X 10 = 1000.
My question is.. is it a literal 1000 years? Or does it symbolize a time of perfection when the saints can truly reign with Christ?
And are beheaded for their testimony (because Christ is already their head) and they basically are on earth with the optimum level of authority and as partakers of the divine nature? (as Peter would put it).
Could the first ressurection be today? Referring to saints who have truly repented and have put on their new nature and discarded the old because of Christ?
To me it seems obvious that creation lasts a week = 7*1000= 7000 years
Then the 1000 years very likely are exactly 1000 years.
I've checked all kind of timelines.
The basis usualy is the genealogy of the Bible.
All the main figures are born in a Sabbath year (and a certain feast)
Main events on a 1000 year mark (Jesus on 4000)

Then add Jubilee cycles to the mix and again the 1000 year pattern pops up.
Bit of Daniel and again the 1000 year pattern.
I've been unable to align it exactly :sigh:
But to your question.
QuoteCould the first ressurection be today?
I would answer not until 2016 (2024)
But I'm not sure that's the first resurrection. After Jesus was resurercted other dead came out of their graves too.
I know many will say it's impossible to count things because even the Son doesn't know.
But all those patterns can't be denied.
Yes: 1000 years.
No: Now
:lazy:
:cloud9: John the baptist was born 6 months before Jesus. He was beheaded. Likewise we must be "beheaded" for Christ to be "birthed" fully in us, ie. exchanging the carnal mind for the mind of Christ.
As for it being a literal 1000 years, perhaps it's both spiritual and literal. Both, in the sense that some are going to come into the fullness, the day of our rest, our true Sabbath, which is Christ, as a completed, perfected son, and perhaps literal in the sense that the others will have 1000 natural years to "die" to self the way "we" did (if we make it).
The ones crying out UNDER THE ALTAR seem to bear this witness, ie. how long before our brethren die as we did. The only way under that altar was to fall thru it as ashes; for our ashes He gives up beauty, the beauty of Christ. Make of yourselves a living sacrifice.
The resurrection is, at it's core principle, not just about a physical body that was dead becoming alive again. The body can only do what it sees it's head do. If the soul "sees" the Head (spirit) arise, the body will have to follow suit. Therefore the re-union of the soul and spirit, IS the resurrection. The physical body being quickened or made alive, is the outward result of what took place inwardly.
This is what Paul was talking about when he said basically that he didn't want to be unclothed (die) but clothed upon, this mortal body being swallowed up of immortality, which is why Christ IN US, is the hope of glory. The glory is being CLOTHED with Christ. He is going to turn us inside out like a garment. My :2c: Blessings....

@Card, this is one way of looking at it... Thanks!

@WW .. Hmmm should be interesting... Let's wait and see in 2016...
