Its in the Word to Judge them by the fruits of what spirit they are of perhaps
because
NO flesh pleases God so to judge the flesh its already judged as corrupt it is dying daily so to speak , if its not taken before the time of old age and death
and Jesus said to Judge what is RIGHT ... Luke 12 :57
I was hoping to discuss this with others , I know that being flesh and blood does not inherit the things of God
so we are dead in the sense of not being raised yet , till Spirit blast within you making a new seed and start in mankind
so its evil spirits or unclean spirits that produce corrpt rotton fr
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Strong's G4561 - sarx
flesh (the soft substance of the living body, which covers the bones and is permeated with blood) of both man and beasts
the body
the body of a man
used of natural or physical origin, generation or relationship
born of natural generation
the sensuous nature of man, "the animal nature"
without any suggestion of depravity
the animal nature with cravings which incite to sin
the physical nature of man as subject to suffering
a living creature (because possessed of a body of flesh) whether man or beast
the flesh, denotes mere human nature, the earthly nature of man apart from divine influence, and therefore prone to sin and opposed to God
the the spirit of God Spirit of Truth
a movement of air (a gentle blast)
of the wind, hence the wind itself John 3: 8 Heb 1 ;7
breath of nostrils or mouth
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
metaph. to crucify the flesh, destroy its power utterly (the nature of the figure implying that the destruction is attended with intense pain)

metaph. to go on prosperously, to turn out well
Strong's G4748 - stoicheō

Eph 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Strong's G1651 - elegchō to convict, refute, confute
generally with a suggestion of shame of the person convicted
by conviction to bring to the light, to expose
to find fault with, correct
by word
to reprehend severely, chide, admonish, reprove
to call to account, show one his fault, demand an explanation
by deed
to chasten, to punish
fruits are the effects of or the harvesting of
fruits of the SPIRIT being also work, act, deed of the divine nature of God
to me it does seem those whom are in Christ have the power to reprove but will receive a lot of heat in doing so , this might be why so much has gone wrong in the World , many are waiting for God to do it and we being Gods children and messengers are not doing that ?
I know with me still being carnal in a lot of ways which is still in death , I do not have the power to reprove anyone
But what if its the SPIRIT of Christ in you judging , not only you but the world
I can see this as possible , being vessels for His use
what say you ?
Joh 8:15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.

Joh 8:15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
YES , but we have more to it than just that , Jesus judges what ?
no flesh knows God nor Christ , seems its spiritual in nature that is being judged .
accepted or condemned by God and Christ Both the Spirit and the Truth
Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness,
because you will have the light that leads to life."
Jhn 8:13 The Pharisees replied, "You are making those claims about yourself! Such testimony is not valid."
Jhn 8:14 Jesus told them, "These claims are valid even though I make them about myself. For I know where I came from and where I am going,
but you don't know this about me. Jhn 8:15
You judge me by human standards, but I do not judge anyone.
Jhn 8:16
And if I did, my judgment would be correct in every respect because I am not alone. The Father who sent me is with me.
Jhn 8:17 Your own law says that if two people agree about something, their witness is accepted as fact.
Jhn 8:18
I am one witness, and my Father who sent me is the other."
Of the top of my head,
Sowing and reaping. Trial and error.
Also we feel. The verse you mentioned "for to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace".
I think that the life and peace are feeling things.
The fruit of the Spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, goodness, Faith, Gentalness, Self control. How many of those are things we feel?
Maybe it just takes a woman too. My wife is often showing me when I am not walking in presence or love. I would not notice without her. It takes the whole body as well.
Sometimes we just don't know, so we take it on faith and wait for it to be revealed, and then take appropriate action.
It is a walk.
"Yes.......but..." that's a disturbing response. :2c:

How distrurbing , Micah ? What do you mean ?
I know that by the Scrptures the Spirit and Truth/ Christ are the true Witnesses thats been around from the Beginning , working in every man , to their benefit or demise ,
proving that none can do anything against the Truth , its stands always and the Spirit /God is that witness with the Truth as the other . by both making it absolute !
we sure can prove it though by being many witnesses in the
Same ONE Spirit of God
2Cr 13:8 For
we can do nothing against the truth,
but for the truth. :dsunny:
1Cr 6:17
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
1Cr 12:13 For
by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink
into one Spirit.
Eph 2:18 For
through him/[ Christ being the way truth and Life] we both have access
by one Spirit unto the Father.
Rose it's impossible to do anything without making decisions; with actually is judging.
Jesus was judging all day long. For example someone gave Him an opinion on how a verse should be understood.
Then Jesus judged the validity of that opinion and responded based on that judgement.
That's a judgement to help and teach people.
The forbidden type of judgement is judgement to condemn people. The prime example of that are the priests that asked Jesus all sorts of questions during His ministry. They weren't honestly trying to learn. Their own aim was to trick Jesus into some unlawful answer they could use against Him.
So:
- Judgement with the aim to learn is good.
- Questions with the aim to learn are good.
- Judgement to set a trap is bad.
- Questions to set a trap are bad.

Matthew 7
4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
To me, the message is not "do not judge." It's do not judge hypocritically. And as WhiteWings said, judgment with the aim to learn is good.
Hi Tony , WW !!
I agree with all you have said!!!! ,
My point was though to judge what is right , Jesus said ,''we are to judge what is right ''
Not what is wrong ... :dsunny:
I do believe He meant what is right in Gods sight !,
not in mans sight they cannot see anything but what is earthly still
this might be why Jesus when doing those good deeds and healings said , ''Tell no man '''
Because man would not beable to judge /decide /discern what was right .

yes those whom still sit in Moses seat judging according to the law of sin and death , not realizing they too were as dead men walking in the sight of God .

I think that's impossible Rosey.
How can we know what's right or wrong before we judged it?
Judging has (also) the meaning of separation and setting apart.
So judging what's right can also mean set the good things aside.
1 Thes 5:21 Prove Proof all things ; hold fast that which is good.
I think that in Luke 12:57 it simply means "figure out the correct answer." :dontknow:

sort of Like Jesus saying make the tree good and its fruit or make it corrupt , a Tree is known my its fruit :friendstu:
Relax everyone....
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
We are supposed to judge as we learn to go about our Fathers business. We are not talking about "final judgement".

"Can we not see by this that the very being of man has a God-ward or divine side, being related constitutionally to Him. The testimony of scripture is incontrovertible that there is a spirit in man, or what is the same, the fact that we are, as being spirit, permeable and inspirable by the Almighty! "
