Just trying to discern the antecedents for "his" and "him" in this verse. "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee (shall be) his desire, and thou shalt rule over him."

Well that kinda messes me up even more. Lol. Young's speaks of a sin offering, which to me speaks of Christ. The other translations have a "but", whereas he has an "and".
LOL that's why it youngs literal translation. literal does not take into account context, sub-text. idioms, etc.
I can't see Christ crouching at the door ready to leap. But sin is and can. With the sin came the sin offering. "and unto thee its desire" (Sin wants us and is waiting for an opening) :Chinscratch: :dontknow: :2c: :Peace2:
