 :cloud9: A ghost is a spirit that has lived in a body. A Holy Ghost is a Spirit that has lived in a holy body, which is why we are told in John that they had not received the Holy Ghost yet because Jesus had not yet been glorified (He had to give up the fleshly body). There are spirits that have NEVER lived in a physical body, and therefore they are not ghosts, so no, the words are not the same.

The pattern of two anointings, one inward and one outward, is seen in the construction of the Ark of the Covenant, which is made of craptim wood (our carnality) covered within (inward anointing) and without (outward anointing) by gold, which speaks of the higher nature that is God.

In type, one is water (John's baptism for repentance from dead works), one is fire (day of Pentecost). Blessings....

Please lets no let this get way out there. To use the word Ghost as something different from a spirit is well ...... :sigh:
