Title: Bookends In Scripture
Post by: marie glen on July 24, 2024, 03:40:04 PM
I find this very interesting.. God as very organized is very appealing to me! I simply love outlines and summaries!
Like the outline of the ages - which is a millennial week - that is, seven millenniums - 6000 years of things running their course (as opposed to some sort of ant farm), then THE millennium, a Sabbath millennium ?And then there?s the ?Last Great Day?, the 8th day (Lev.23:36, Jn.7:37, Rev.20:7-13, told like describing the crests of waves but not the in between.)

Okay I got sidetracked.. Oh wait, another one first - the holy days, Lev.23 :gsmile: It only PROVES ur/cu.
Jesus? first brief advent fulfilled perfectly the Spring holy days, hard to see however as the days and indeed the whole week were called interchangeably, there?s three Sabbaths of the week so three ?preparation days?, and of course the days begin at sunset rather than midnight. He died on Passover (per John?s account) was ?in the grave? as 1st Day of Unleavened Bread began, and rose as Firstfruits was beginning. Then Pentecost was fulfilled..
So look at the pattern and names of the Fall holy days - logically prophesying the Lord?s long second advent?
TRUMPETS (of Rev & his return) - 1Odays/1OOOyrs to - DAY oF ATONEMENT (DOA for the initially doa) - 5days/5OOyrs to - TABERNACLES ?God will now tabernacle with mankind? - this crucible, life as we presently know it, an unavoidable and all important contrast having been used to seal every heart and mind as ?clear as crystal?. NOTE: the first 5OOyrs is the release of the adversary&co. and the drawing of the descendants of mortal survivors of the (fiery) apocalypse, aka mortal mankind, once again to war. Until his fiery final defeat. (Rev. has three mentions of lake of fire ..at huge fiery levents.)

But here?s what I was going to post..

Bookends In Scripture
1 - Genesis creation, and Revelation new creation. 2 The alpha and omega, first and last of Revelation in chapters one and twenty-two, the first and last chapters. 3 The ?Day? of the LORD - fiery 1Pet.3:10 is at the Lord?s return ?lest no survive? and 2Pet.3:12-13 is the (much later) fiery ?regeneration? greek word ?palingenesis - palin/again-genesis?. These three therefor all meet at the new creation, Rev.21:1-5, when God declares ?Behold! I make aLL new?. Which translators changed to ?all things? (here and elsewhere, like Eph.1:10). And that is when and how death dies.
