The seat of the feelings, desires, affections.

Quickening = zōopoieō =

To cause to live, make alive, give life, to restore to life.

To arouse and invigorate.

Spirit = pneuma =

Devoid of all gross matter.

Possessed of the power of knowing, desiring, deciding, and acting.

Life giving.
