Tentmaker Forum

It rained for the 2nd time this year...last night.

Saw this FORUM via visits to tentmaker & mercifultruth.com

Those familiar with Chraigslist, i assist in moderating a christian forum.
(If you're there you MUST visit!) There are actually 3 christian forums other than the CL ('Religion') forum chich amounts to a bunch of people enjoying the irritation of passionate christians by posting sophmoric jabs.

There was a need to create a forum, one woman created a prayer and praise report forum, christians can go there for emotional and spiritual support.

Shortly after, two acquaintances of mine (broadcasters and very strong in the Lord) started an 'experimental' sister forum called Biblical Q&A where only people with questions about the bible typed questions..and got biblical answers.
(They both believe in the bibles plain universal reconcilliation of all things, as I do.) But they have to run a tight ship because its a free forum. THey've gotten alot of hostility from christians over certain posts, even though they are well educated: non-denominational pastor of many years and the other a lutheran phd creation scientist...both leaders in the church for many years. Because they don't want to screw up the flow by debating in Q&A, they created a 'discussion' forum where people who want to 'argue'/discuss can go there. THey asked me to moderate it. (Basically amounts to flagging serious disruptions only.) Its a good place to sharpen iron, where you don't have hostile non-christians TROLLing in and out as much as in the CL-Religion forum.

But you still have a few disgruntled and supposed 'christians' who are angry with drx and absx who TROLL because they were either proven wrong, false, or acted inappropriately in the forum and got booted, so they return to cause trouble.

As drx explained to me, its free, its an experiment starting the forum on CL with no controls, and they have tough skins.  The forum of course will not last forever and if a christian wanted to, they could make it near impossible to function by spamming.  We shall see.

Then you certainly are not my neigbour. Overhere we get special newsbulletins if it doesn't rain for 5 days in a row.
Perhaps the water of the flood still isn't fully drained away  :laughing7:
