I hear the winds will bring back the snowy and the chilly air in the tropics (although Philippines isn't located spot on in the equator), it does get cold in January...

Well.. probably his computer sitting on an area where it had too much exposure to sunlight...

None of my appliance have ever overheated due to too much sun... even in summers here...
