Universalist that is ready for some MEAT

Hello all, I've been on the Universalism "fence" now for many years. In that time I shifted al over the place, including becoming agnostic for a time. After prayer and crying out to God to show me truth I find myself drawn back strongly to Christian Universalism.

However, this time around I don't want to just understand the basic tenants of Universalsim. I want to understand the teacings inside and out, become a scholar of it if you will. Perhaps even become ordained in the faith someday as a Universalist.

So it's wonderful to be here with you all, I look forward to learning.

All I'll add to the brothers here is bear in mind that as we call upon the Lord, he'll answer that call, but often times, he doesn't manifest in the form we expect him to.  My mind has an image of who he is and he keeps showing up apart from that image.  An open heart and hungry faith seems to be the best combination for him to plant revelational truth in the heart of men.

1 Samuel 5

1 After the Philistines had captured the ark of God, they took it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.
2 Then they carried the ark into Dagon's temple and set it beside Dagon.
3 When the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord!
They took Dagon and put him back in his place.
4 But the following morning when they rose, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the Lord! His head and hands had been broken off and were lying on the threshold; only his body remained.

Any of our own images, plans or actions are broken in His presence.
