:NewB1:How to introduce myself? well, about 2 months ago, I found Gary's What the Hell is Hell? when I began searching the scriptural truth about hell. I have been reading several hours a day, and at this time I agree with Gary's statement that Univeralists have the better scholarship. I am from Tyler, TX, a Christian from childhood, with church experience in Assembly of God, a grace community church, and charismatic fellowships. I completed studies in theology at Tyndale Seminary in Ft. Worth (a dispensational school), and continue to long for and search out more about our Lord and his grace. I have studied through Arminianism, Calvinism, and now digging into Universalism. I'm so glad for the internet which gives the opportunity to research anything, and particularly at this time on the subject of Universalism. Thanks so much to Gary and Michelle for their dedication and boldness in presently great studies on Univeralism and to everyone who helps maintain this sitel.
Welcome, your educational and church background should bring in some interesting discussion.
Hello and welcome :dsunny:
I grew up in the Assemblies of God, with my dad being a pastor. Saved at age 12, attended charismatic, Church of God, Baptist, as well as Assemblies of God. God called me out of institutionalized religion about 6 months to a year after revealing His plan to ultimately redeem all creation. It's a challenging but glory-filled walk. He is with us wherever He leads us;
from Follow The Path
..it might wander through the valley
or even up the mountainside
it might lead you through the desert
but always out the other side...
God bless, and welcome here.
Welcome to journey :happy3:
Welcome to Tent! I think you'll find a mixture of religious backgrounds here as well. I to was brought up with a strong Assemblies influence. We look forward to growing and maturing in the Father with you.
